on a scale of 1-10 for easiness her class is 9.5. I missed several classes, handed in half the R&D guides, and only actually read 1 of the 5 books. If you dont feel like reading the book, make sure you go to lecture, she does a pretty good job summarizing. On top of it all she is pretty cute for an older lady

By far the easiest class I've had in awhile. All she required were three easy papers that I wrote in under 20 minutes each and got an A in the class. R&D guides and quizzes are easy. She does a lot of group work so it's not to stressful. Highly recommended. She's hot too.

Wainwright is a really cool teacher. She is easy to get along with, and she has a very interesting, novel (compared with other classes I have had to write a paper for) approach to the writing structure of the assigned papers. She is an excellent teacher, take her class if you can.

She is an amusing teacher but her social skills always left us cramped for time and we'd end up with an unclear assignment. Somehow got As on ever paper (worked really hard on them because she grades essays strictly) but ended up with a B for the class!? She constantly lost our assignments so I think she just made up the grades.

She is a very nice teacher. She is a typical blond young teacher who is really funny at times. She grades ok but trying to get an A on your papers is almost impossible! She dosent give out too much hw and there is alot of group work. also she is late to her class almost every day so no need to rush to class.

I took all my required English classes with her. She loves her students. She helped me if I needed her. Some students think that she is out there or that she is blonde or something, but she is a single mother of 2 kids and then she works with college students. She is an awesome person as much as an awesome professor. I would recommend her to anyone

Amy Wainwright is an AWESOME teacher!! Required reading books are REALLY good (ex. Lovely Bones, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close) Requires a group community project (12 hrs of service) but its a GREAT experience.. overall the class is very easy and VERY FUN!

Well rounded professor that knows her material and engages students into discussion. Some of the workload seems a bit heavy especially if you're aiming high on important papers. She also requires community service as part of your grade but it's fun and you get to skip out on class time now and again to focus on it. By the way, she's total fox!

mrs. Wainwright is great, I took her for all of my LIT classes. She gets to know her students, she's clear on what she expects. Very funny, always laughing or smiling! She grades well, she is sort of strict on papers but just listen to her expectations and you'll do fine, I did that and had an A in each class! I recommend, shes great!

I will honestly recommend her to anyone! Shes so fun, never boring. She only takes attendance every once in a while. Papers are graded pretty hard, but i've learned so much from this class! I had her for college writing and intro to lit and I'm for sure taking her for 2932. TAKE HER CLASS!! you will love it! =)

I dont see how anyone could NOT like her. She is so fun and personable. Shell let you out of class early on a few occassions- she wont keep you in class if it isnt necessary. she cancelled about 3 classes and there was NO FINAL. she will make you laugh and teach you to write a really well-written paper. i loved her. TAKE HER.

She is a really good teacher, i really enjoyed going to her class. She makes everything so much fun and has a great personality, she doesn't treat her students like most do she is more like a friend. she is very understanding. I LOVED her class i would take her again she is awesome!!

Amy is cool probably my favorite professor at UNF. Had to read five books which she tests you on just to see if you read it along with three major papers. We watched movies and had to write papers on those as well. Group community project kind of sucked but it was an easy A. Go to class and read, you'll be fine.

Amy Wainwright is awesome. She's got a contagious sense of humor and a low-key teaching style that is apparently impressive to most of her students. Definitely one of two of my favorite teachers, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Plus, she likes Pink Floyd.

Amy is GREAT!!! She is so much fun. I took her for two semesters and I would have took her for another if the class did not close so fast. I made a B in both classes. She really loves her students and she always has a funny story to tell. I suggest that any Lit class that you have to take you take her she is the BEST!!!

Strictly speaking, Amy isn't a very good teacher. That said, take her. She is ALWAYS late, nearly always leaves class to get something she forgot, enters the room like Kramer from Seinfeld, and has spectacular stories about herself, her kids, and her latest boyfriend. Plus, for a professor, she's pretty hot.

Absolutely love her! She is so interested in the books and thus gets you interested in them as well. Attendence is a must! She gives quizzes on the books to make sure you have read them and quizzes on movies watched in class. I breezed through this class. She says she is a hard grader but I got A's on all 3 papers.

Fun teacher. At first it seems like she goes off on tangents and nothing makes sense, but hang in there! It all comes together! Very straightforward about what is expected and there are no suprises. Read the books, do the RD guides, and the 3 major papers and youre fine!

Amy is a easy professor and is always 5-10 mins late to class! She is not that easy of a grader but here class is really easy. She loves her students, she told us she cares more about her students than her kids. Take her for easy class but no an EASY A..

Prof Amy makes the class interesting and dynamic. Come to class, it's actually worth the time! Very, very receptive to alternative interpretations and ideas of a piece. She is very, very willing to throw around ideas in class, and help her students to the max. If you fail, it won't be because of her lack of effort.

The best teacher you could ever take!! She is so crazy. She teachers barefoot because her heels always hurt and she always talks about some crazy thing her kids are doing. Assignments are easy and you only have to do a few papers. Best professor you can take...DO IT!!!!!

She is very nice and funny. Always has a crazy story to tell. She tends to be late for class and a little all over the place at times but she gets her points across. Tough grader but interesting topics covered in class, discusses the books you read in detail. The constant changing of the schedule was a bit much for me though. good teacher.

Prof. Wainwright was NEVER on time... i think the earliest she was to class was 15 minutes after start time, so give yourself a few extra minutes to sleep in! She is super nice. Very tough grader. She'll give content tests on the novels, so read them. She's adhd, so if you're an impatient person, don't take her. She is really funny, she never yells. Class is mandatory, and on movie days she doubles participation credit. Don't take this class if you are just going to blow it off, you'll fail. Fantastic!

Awesome teacher! I had her for a summer class so we only read 4 books. The books were easy reads as well. She also only had us write 2 essays, which were as long as you wanted (the longer the better though ). I passed this class with an A. I recommend taking her summer terms though. Oh and don't expect class to start on time, she's ALWAYS late !

She tends to ramble a lot, so don't take her if that will annoy you. The novels we read were very interesting and current, no old dead white men stuff. We only did two essays, so not a lot of writing was required of us. Overall, a very nice lady, but definitely not one of the better lit teachers I've had.

DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER THEN MINE!!! Amyyy is devine...she's crazy but a good crazy. She makes the class fun!! We read great books and watch great and CRAZY moviesss! Remember that clear eyed commercial? She is nothing like that and most lit classes are. She's fantasatic...take her take her..can't say it enough. I got an A!!!!

Shes not "crazy" just a little unorganized. Her discussions are beneficial to understanding her readings. I don't think shes gonna teach another writing class. if she does take her and utilize her office hours. When i went she would go over my whole essay and help me revise it. Amazing!

Very scatterbrained. So if you like professors that stay on topic and are professional, then DO NOT TAKE. However, if you like going off on tangents and don't mind the informal classroom setting, she is perf! Hard grader, however. two papers, 4 books to read (interesting ones), and easy tests on the books. Lots of work.

She goes off on tangents, stops movies alot, and is a tad crazy. She is really nice and easy though. Gives constant extra credit for showing up for movies and grades discussion questions super easy. Would definitely take her again if I weren't majoring in Engineering.

She is a little different, but she knows what she is talking about and what she is doing. As long as you read the book, you will get a 100% on the quizes and guides. Nothing to worry about.

She is definitely different. She goes off on tangents but they are always interesting. She loves to talk and share things about her life...like her now ex bf who is Iranian. Fun lady to be around but if you don't like someone who is disorganized sometimes or doesn't have much structure then maybe you should find someone else.

Professor Wainwright is one of the most eccentric teachers I've ever had. She is really interested in teaching you how to use the things she teaches and apply them in life. I suggest you take her. She is very friendly and funny.

Very energetic lady. Loves to talk and tell stories. You read books in her class such as The Lovely Bones, Secret life of Bees, Men and Dogs & A Long Way Gone. All are easy reads after every book there is a EASY test. You also do R&D guides which are very easy. Don't watch movies because the test will not be anything like the movie, strictly book.

Best teacher you will ever have. This woman knows her stuff and she is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. Teaches you that literature is life, and there is so much you can take away from it. If you don't like her it's cause you are lazy and didn't try. If you care enough she meets you more than halfway.

Amy is an awesome professor! Sure she is a little crazy but makes up for it with all the wisdom she will impart to you both academically and personally. Lit was not difficult, you read 4 good novels, take a mini test on them, and answer R&D guides, 2 papers which she does grade harder on but she offers alot of extra credit just for coming to class.

Although she can be very..very eccentric, she is one of the best teachers you can have you teach you literature. She is also kind of easy. Just go to class, listen to her, try a bit and you'll get an A.

I love Amy. This is the second time I've taken her and I will miss her dearly. She is different but in an awesome way. If you cant handle a passionate teacher that is also laid back, very reasonable, and who tells a lot of awesome stories then don't bother. I couldn't imagine college life without her.

I am taking Amy for writining psychology and so far it is pretty easy. Do the work and you are sure to do well in the course. She is very reasonable with her students, and sure not to over load you with work. If you want to learn how to write without being swamped with papers, take her class!

One of the best professors i have ever had. She is very helpful and funny. She made reading the Pilot's Wife and Lovely Bones very interesting and i hate reading. She might tell about her personal life alot but its cool though because there is always something interesting to talk about with her. Best LIT teacher at UNF.. Take her now!!!!

Amy is an awesome professor, she doesn't dwell on the old LIT. She is a very absent minded and bubbly professor, so if u like a course taught from a textbook with a structured professor, then this class is definitely not for you. Amy makes the class seem like a TV show and if you have a bond with her outside of class and show intrst u will do fine!

I know that some people are giving her bad reviews but she is not a bad teacher. If you want some boring, stuck up, hard grader of a teacher, find someone else. She's not here to make your life hard. She's here to teach you and make the class fun and exciting. I LOVE being in her class & would take her again if I could. She's very nice and sweet

What you do: read a few books (short&easy), r&d questions per book (max 7), watch 3 movies, and do two papers (completely explained). She is a happy and caring teacher. She calls herself a hippie! You can use sparknotes and pass her tests. You get 20 points for going to class on movie days. You get 10 points daily for going to class. TAKE HER!
