Benaduce is the best anatomy professor ever and I strongly recommend her 100%. You watch her lecture online the day before class and then you go to class and do iclicker questions which she goes over everything and makes sure everyone understands before she moves on. I've taken 3 different anatomy classes at 3 different colleges. Dr. Benaduce is by far the best anatomy professor I've ever had. She is helpful, caring and goes the extra mile to help students succeed in her class. Anatomy is a lot of work and memorization naturally, but Dr. Benaduce actually makes it fun and shows you how, "It all makes sense!"

I had my doubts about her in the beginning because I was so used to the first professor quick and to the point videos; however, I realized that I was complaining because she wanted to actually explain a concept more in depth. Appreciate her !! She is always here to help and remembers your face and name even if it was just one or two encounters!

Honestly I should have gotten an D in this class, but she was so kind and understand about my classes and how I was having a hard time and helped me out a lot. I ended up with an B in the class and it was because she took the time in her office hours to review everything with me and my class mates. I respect her a lot enjoy this class.

Great professor!! One thing I loved is the fact that she always connected what we were learning to the medical field. She did not lack the ability to keep her students interested in the course. There is a lot of preparation outside of class (watching videos and taking notes), but that is expected from an upper division course.

Love her class! There are four midterms and one big final, plus we use iclicker in class and do some writing activities too. She's even cool about missing 3 classes because, hey, life happens (you get a pass). Then there's the quizzes, like one-two a week with five questions each.

Don't get freaked out about the lab vocab list; it's intimidating at first, but you'll totally get the hang of it super quick. My advice is you study every single station not just your own! I did that and always got 100% on all pre and post quizzes. You have 1 midterm and 1 final. The lab work ties in perfectly with what you learn in lecture.

Watching lectures BEFORE class allows you to actively engage in class discussions, make connections, and ask questions specific to your weaknesses. She makes learning FUN!

She is the best professor I ever had at FIU. She is super caring and very empathetic. I recommend going to her Happy Hours, it's where you can build a connection with your classmates and Dr. Benaduce. You will learn the most there. This class is not easy, you will need to dedicate time to study and review the lecture videos and textbook she made.

I graduated from FIU in spring 2024 and I had the honor of taking anatomy & anatomy lab with Dr. Benaduce. Her lectures are very engaging, she provides guided notes, and your responsibility is to go home and review them. The lab section has groups in which you learn together. This was hands down the best professor I have ever had in my life.

Attendance is everything. It's crucial to watch the lecture videos before class and take notes on everything she discuss.Professor assigns LA for lecture and lab, and does an amazing job going over the slides in class. When it came to Lab go over to all the resources given, and do the practice quizzes for each station. Follow the class structure.

One of few lab classes that makes connections to the material you're learning in lecture and helps deepen your understanding of the topic! Great TAs and LAs as well! Optional recitation with Dr. Benaduce, where she goes over what you'll be learning in lab. In the lab, you give a presentation of the section you were assigned! Highly recommend!

This class is extremely easy. Just watch the videos and memorize your lab station, and know some of the others, and you are set.
