Wonderful professor! Her lectures are VERY clear. She's always willing to give help in her office hours. If you perform poorly on a test, you have the opportunity to retake it in her office hours. She is clear, concise, and kind. Also a bit funny. She has a small accent and braces but it didn't hinder the class at all!

I took her for Math for Liberal Arts 1, attendance isn't mandatory, however, she does do random iclickers which go towards your grade at the end but they're not even math questions most of the time. Four exams, online homework, and an extra credit assignment worth 10 points towards the final. Super sweet and helpful, definitely recommend her.

For liberal arts I, we used mymathlab for pretty much everything. this is a great website, my math grade is higher than its ever been! Escuder is a sweetheart but doesnt answer back emails. o well, nice lady. take her!

Sweetest and easiest professor at FAU. Always nice, willing to help and the material is EASY plus everything is online. Attendance is optional and her curve definitely helps! Tests and quizzes all online and final is online and is not cumulative! If you struggled a lot with math in high school, take her!

If you are one of the many students at FAU who can't pass math.. Escuder is your only hope! It's nearly impossible to not to pass as long as you do the hw, & go to class to get extra credit points by signing in. There was about 4 tests and quizzes but they mostly are online ;) she also is very nice and wants you to pass...take her

Best math teacher I have ever had in my entire life. I took her for both Lib. math 1 & 2. Mostly everything (hw/quizes/tests) are online and she gives extra credit if you attend class. She's also very clear in the way she explains things and will often add points to tests or curve them. TAKE HER IF YOU WANT TO ACE YOUR MATH COURSES!

Easiest math class i've ever taken in my life because of Professor Escuder. I absolutely adore Professor Escuder she is such a sweetheart and amazing at what she does! I recommend anyone take her she actually makes math interesting for people who aren't good at it! :)

The BEST AND SWEETEST MATH PROFESSOR AT FAU! IF I COULD GIVE HER OVER 5 STARS I WOULD. She is incredibly helpful on everything and makes the class a breeze. 3 attempts on all tests/final, 4 attempts on all quizzes, take home final, and unlimited attempts on all homework. 5 tests and 5 quizzes total basically once a month. I have never had a math professor as good as or helpful as Dr. Escuder. She can make anything understandable and easy to comprehend. You get multiple attempts on everything and she does everything she can to ensure you receive a higher grade! She is beyond down to earth and helpful. TAKE HER! You won't regret it!

Dr. Escuder is simply the best, she is extremely nice, calm, and clear. She makes math so doable and the actual course is really helpful. Attendance is mandatory but most of the class is through the ALEKS software which is also really helpful. TAKE HERRR!

She is the best math professor at FAU. Lectures are clear as day everything she goes over is directly on quizzes/exams. 1 quiz and 1 exam a month along with a reasonable amont of homework. She helps in anyway she can and gives plenty of opportunity to raise your grade to at least a "B". It's very easy to get an "A" with little effort she's the best

Sooooo easy without words I got an A+ without even trying and I suck at math. Extra credit for attendance and no learning involved outside of lecture but most things are common sense and doesn't seem like college level math. She is crystal clear on what she expects from her students and gives multiple tries and take home everything including final.

I hate math. I've always hated math. Math was the final course I needed for graduation. I took this math class 4 yes 4 times. Prof. Escuder was amazing. She calmed my anxiety to the level which allowed me to actually focus in class. VERY STRONG RECOMMENDATION!

Awsome, drops 3 lowest quiz grades and curves the final along with multiple quizzes. Class, however, is pointless to go to because I had to teach everything to myself while doing the homweork. If you suck at math take escuder

I would say Ana Escuder is one of the best professors at FAU. She truly wants her students to succeed, and she offers so much support with the material. She also explains each math concept so clearly that everyone leaves the class for the day understanding the material. I would highly recommend taking her for Intermediate Algebra.

Was not a fan of the software used for the class, called LiMes. It was hard to navigate and I felt as though the professor herself could have led a few e-tutoring AND uploaded a few videos of her own. However, the class was successful. STUDY FROM YOUR MISTAKES ON THE HOMEWORK. and prep for the final.

I loved loved loveeed how she organized the online lectures, they are clear and easy to understand. You'll be given several examples of the problems throughout the homework and the lectures so when you take the labs/exams you'll take them with ease. For someone who has dropped statistics twice before, she made it easier to comprehend.

Shes the best for methods of calc! Take her I cannot stress this enough. Her 2nd and final exam she let us use a page of notes and she added an optional exam to boost our grade up. The tests are litterly the exam reviews I ended up with an A and I didnt need to put in too much effort just semi apply your self :) shes for sure the easiest

Amazing professor, very understanding and willing to work with you. I failed this class last semester, took it again with this professor and passed with a B! All assignments are done online through my math lab and 4 test are taken in the testing center.

PLEASE take Calculus with her if you want to pass and are downright horrible at math. I ended up with a B in this class and I am telling you I never get B's in classes. This professor lets you have a full sheet of paper for your midterm and final exam. She also gave us an extra exam that you can take at home so our grades would improve.

Professor Escuder is great! She teaches completely off the homework and the quizzes/tests come right off the homework. She is very caring and offers help if you ask her after class or through email. She takes attendance randomly and gives lots of extra credit opportunities.

Escuder is a good professor although she is sometimes not an engaging lecturer. She makes minimal mistakes when doing problems on the board, but overall the class is pretty easy if you complete the homework on time and do the practice tests/quizzes because it's the exact same as the test. If you put in the work, you'll get an A no problem

She was very helpful while teaching in lectures. I am not a math minded person but taking her class made math a lot easier for me.

While this was already an easy enough math class for me, the professor really offered assistance on whatever matter you needed help with. She offered a ton of extra credit for every assignment, quiz, and exam. If math is not your strong suit, take Escuder!

I'm exceptionally terrible at math and I passed this class with a B. Escuder makes it easy to succeed and cares about students. You can retake almost everything in the class twice, from quizzes to tests. The practice exams are exactly like the real tests, and allowed me to get my first ever A on a math exam. I would highly recommend this class.

Good teacher, course was online, hard time with the topic, clear grading, tutoring available take advantage of it it is very helpful

Although the course work was somewhat difficult, she sent weekly motivational emails that were really cute and I appreciated them. I went to the tutoring center once a week and only cried once during the entire semester so all in all could've been worse.

Always willing to help. She always found ways to help us boost our grades, especially at the end of the semester (re-taking exams) you'll always get an A on your homework Sent weekly motivational emails on what to expect. The homework assignments do take some time and you may require assistance (I definitely did) which is why we have labs.

Taking the class online, lectures somewhat are helpful, dont stress too much on homework because its only 5% of the grade but u need to understand it in order to do the labs (quizzes) which are 20% of the grade, and there are 3 exams which are also 20% of the grade and there is the Final Exam which is 15% of the grade, its about 90% using Excel

Great class. Lots of homework and lots of practice questions online that take really long to finish. The hw notes she provides are sometimes disorganized and not really clear which makes it harder to get the questions right. However, she's caring and provides Etutoring sessions once a week if you're having difficulty. Overall, not a hard class.

All online. Use one platform. Lots of stuff to do each weak but you gotta do it.

This class is good for someone who can teach themself. The textbook is easy to understand, assignments are due weekly, extra credit and makeups for quizzes. You interact very little with the prof. Lectures and HW can feel tedious, but they prepare you well for the quizzes and exams. Lots of tutoring resources available if you need help.

As an online class, I didn't have much interaction with this professor. She sends weekly email reminders which are helpful. I have a strong foundation in Excel which help me get through this course which used the LiMeS learning system. I Learned how to solve stat equations using excel instead of memorizing formulas. Web-X tutors were also helpful.

I took her class fully online, it is very excel based. There are two lectures per week, a homework assignment, and a lab. This is really good practice for the exams, which look just like the labs. There was extra credit for almost every assignment and exam. The exams were not proctored so you can use your notes, but you do have to show your work.

I took this online during the pandemic but there was no trouble, just a simple class. She sent weekly reminders of what was expected and had easy access to all the lectures, notes, and homework. The material was pretty easy but you just have to teach yourself and go over the notes. The quizzes and test are just like the homework.

She let's you make up ur test and I love teacher who do that. Also the final exam replaced are lowest grade.

She makes the class very easy for you, like its pretty hard not to pass. Lectures are optional, but she has them posted so you can watch it whenever. She sends out reminders to let you know when quizzes/tests/retakes are.

Professor Escuder is the best! Her lectures for every section were really helpful and she's so sweet. She gives around 2-3 sections of hw every week and u have the whole week to do it. Her quizzes/tests are just like the hw and the practice tests are almost identical but they are optional. She's also very forgiving if u miss a test or something.

She's a good solid choice. Homework not hard, gives out a study guide before each quiz and test and it has the exact same questions just different numbers. She drops the lowest grades.

Easiest class ever... You can work on your own pace, no meetings, and she uploads lectures and does zooms if you ever need help. I never attended, but I have heard they are so helpful. TAKE HER!

Lectures aren't mandatory but they help A LOT, homeworks are easy, and you can tell that she really cares about you as a person. Lots of makeup opportunities. 100% recommend to take her!

She is an amazing professor and I absolutely recommend anyone who needs to take College Algebra to take her. Her lectures and teaching style are easy to understand and take notes, the My Lab was easy to navigate, and her communication with emails was awesome! She truly cares about you as a person and is super accommodating if you work.

Fully Online During the Pandemic. Used Math Lab & Have to Buy a Code, Lectures was Optional & I never attend, but if u did, it's apparently helpful. Do Ur Work, & u will pass, the semester is almost over & it's looking like I might finesse a Low A for the 1st time in years. If u have an option, take this online & with this teacher, shes manageable

Standard online math course. Each section has a small pre-test, homework, practice quiz, and quiz; each group of sections has a pre-test and test. The site used makes the math easy to understand but she provides lectures if you're used to learning math a certain way. There's plenty of make-up opportunities, making it hard to fail the class.

She gives a fair amount of HW and practice quizzes so you can have the lesson down pat. She also gives you plenty of opportunities to pass her class. If you fail, you weren't trying at all. Along with her usual lectures, she has review lectures that you can attend for extra credit but can easily pass the class with just the notes she posts alone.

This class was super easy, highly recommend this professor. Yes, there are lots of homework assignments due EVERY Sunday. And a quiz/test due EVERY week on Monday. No lectures or anything, so this is more of a "teach yourself" class, however, they were all super easy because the software used for the class helps you learn everything. No big deal.

She's a great professor. the class itself you have to learn but she is willing to help and makes getting an A easy for you. Lectures are optional, just do the homework and you'll pass. There's a lot of homework but it's not hard to knock it all out. Tests are lockdown browser but no webcam and are not hard.

Pretty easy A if you do your work. Quiz every week with lockdown browser but no webcam. She makes the class easy and sends reminders about the work thats due.

I took College Alg online on MyMathLab. She is available at all times if you have questions and sends reminders at the beginning of the week for what work you have to do which is insanely helpful for a fully online course.

Such an easy class. Only take this class online to save yourself time and energy because its all self taught anyway. Prof was good but in the back of her recorded zoom lectures it constantly sounds like someone in violently throwing up. She also sends aggressive emails to finish the homework

Professor Escuder is a wonderful professor who cares about her student's success. She is available and provides clear expectations. I would have liked to have her as my professor for Calculus too, but she was not teaching that class when I needed to take it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Take this professor! I took college algebra with her and I promise you, any of the bad ratings on here are from lazy people. It was probably one of the easiest classes Ive ever taken and Im not even good at math. I took it online, and I would suggest that, because its a very easy to pace course. You can use online math apps for almost everything

For this class you'll mainly be learning by using MML Integration, however, there are lectures if you need. About 2-3 lessons due every week with a fully online quiz the day after (On Mondays) Overall as long as you did the homework and do well on quizzes class is very easy to get through.

So much homework, so many quizzes. That being said, I'm the worst at math and got an A in this class. Prof Escuder is fantastic at explaining concepts in a way that's easy to understand and remember. Her assignments really help reinforce learning, and although they can feel tedious, they really help you succeed. If you do the work, you'll pass.

Super easy math class! The professor is super nice and her lectures are well done and she explains everything perfectly. She goes slow and makes sure to leave room for questions during her lessons. There are quizzes and tests every Monday!

Took this course online and was super easy. Canvas is set up perfectly to get all your stuff done by week. Honestly just do the homework and turn stuff in on time and you'll pass.

Decent amount of work but easy if you take your time and watch her pre-recorded lectures (which are super helpful). All quizzes and exams have practice questions that help you study. I never used the textbook just the prof's lectures. Super helpful professor if something goes wrong with an assignment. Wish I could take her for all my math!

3 assignments due every week but they we're really easy. She posts lectures for students to access incase help is needed for homework. If she sees you falling behind she will reach out and let you know. Overall class is very easy just do assignments ahead of time.

Professor Escuder was wonderful. I took MAC 1105 online and her recorded lectures/notes made a lot of concepts easy to understand. She was also gracious enough to allow everyone to get a higher score on the HWs, if needed. The only thing I didn't like was that there was always a short time frame to take the quizzes and exams.

Professor Ana is a great professor! I am horrible at math and with professor Ana I got an A, she has pre-recorded lectures so it is much easier to understand the topic, the HW and tests are heavy and you have to complete the HW before you take the tests but I promise if you focus on the lesson you can be able to understand the topics.

This was a very easy math class, I suggest take it 100% online. We have a week to do homework assignments which are fairly simple. This professor also replies to emails fast.

I took this class online, incredibly easy. If you know math higher than algebra like calculus, you won't even need to look at lecture notes. The online format is not only easy to complete and navigate but made the class easy overall. Mrs. Escuder is very friendly and easy to reach if you need to contact her.

Ms.Escuder is one of the nicest professors I have had. She provides multiple outlets you can go through to understand the content and pass the tests. As long as you do your homework (which is not long) and take the quizzes and tests you will do fine.

She cares about her students and has all homework assignments which you need to do all of to take the test/quiz due at a single day of the week every week. It ends up being a ton of homework and hours of work, but even though I normally struggle at math, i passed the class relatively easily. She offers loads of make-ups as well which is useful.

The online course pretty much teaches itself, but the professor has helpful lectures. Allows some retakes, late turn-ins (w/ penalty), and grade replacements. Overall great professor for an online class.

Not that bad, but there is a lot of homework. Tests are pretty hard. lockdown browser and must show work. NO EXTRA CREDIT! Lecture & mathway vids were pretty helpful. Just make sure u study HARD. Tho I will say, she is not very understanding of emergencies. She does not care and will not help u to extend or do the exams early.

Weekly quizzes that take maybe an hour or two (for the whole chapter including the section homeworks), lowest two quiz grades dropped, make up opportunities and the final exam grade can replace a lower test grade. Hard to not pass with an A. Professor Escuder responds to emails fast.

As someone who really struggles with math, I managed to end with an A. As long as you complete the homework and exams, you'll do fine! Quizzes/exams are on lockdown browser without camera.

To preface, I suck at calculus and this was a retake of the course. She was a great professor who was caring - she reached out to me personally when I failed my first attempt at this course. The HW can be really intense and it gets more difficult as it goes on, so you want to make sure you do well on the exams. You do get late passes for HW though.

Algebra she was a pain, told us it was our fault if we missed anything even with wifi out from storms. But, if you use resources throughout the course you will pass just fine, no reason not to. Calc she was a lot more easy going and responsive to emails. Pretty simple class for the most part.

Essay course if you put in the effort. Professor Ecuador responds to emails quickly. The class includes lockdown browser tests, but you have 2 attempts per question. The textbook is also free.

This is basic calculus. The homework is due by friday at the end of the week. Usually two chapters you have unlimited attempts. She also has her own video at the end of each module of her working out problems similar just diff numbers. This class could not be more direct/straightforward. Exam review vid has same problem on exam so WATCH IT!
