She is so great. Every time before an esay was due she was so helpful with the whole class, to pass her class you just need to be motivated and willing to learn. Remember read all the reading she gives you helps a ton.

She always begins every class with a joke. Always motivating others to speak in class. She was very helpful and gave everyone the chance to redue an assignment that didn't go well. She was in overall a great teacher.

She gives fair timing to turn in assignments. She is cool but don't piss her off. If you don't like to work in groups find another teacher, because you will have to work with classmates.

Took her class online. There was a lottt of work to do but I thought it was good. Her grading can be tough on some essays but all in all it was easy. The bad part is there are two group projects. I got an A. I recommend her. SHe will have you read four books. They are pretty good and small. Just lots of tedious work. Stay on top of things.

She is a great professor she does like to talk but she keeps the class involved. i had her for ENC1101 and by coincidence i have her again for speech. Prof. Hernandez is helpful but doesnt really like repeating herself. I would def. recommend her i got all A's and 1 B in her class.

This teacher is awesome... I took her class summer A and it was so easy. You have to write a few essays and edit them in groups. If you do what she says you will get an easy A. She also likes to talk a lot about her family and likes to tell you how long shes been teaching at miami dade (17 yrs) and she likes to touch and flip her hair every 5min.

She is very nice, to me her class was fun, she talks a lot about stories and her experiences that in some way are related to the speech class. her class is basically common sense so as long as you get that down, you would do good in her exams

AS long as you do what she wants you to do in class, you'll be fine. Go to class every day, talk a little bit in each class and write good papers. You'll have plenty of time for editing, so there's noway you can fail. I enjoyed her sarcasm a lot, but even if you don't like her she will grade fairly for essays. I don't regret that i took her class.

This teacher is alright. its an easy A. its almost impossible to get a B in her class thats how easy it is. you only do 2 presentation, one of them is a group one. you have a midterm and a final but you dont even have to study for it. she is really sarcastic though but funny

The best Professor in Miami Dade!

Took her class as a speech course and it was worth it. Her class really is an easy A, and I am not one to expect an easy grade. Tests regard material discussed in class and stories read in text. She is funny and at times a bit of a bully but all in good fun. I recommend her for Issues w/ Lit and Culture.

Took this class for six weeks and was cake. Two essays in total for homework and one essay for extra credit. One solo presentation and one group presentation. Gives easy five question quiz after each chapter. NO EXAM AT ALL. she's also very sarcastic.

She's not only an easy going person, she's funny and makes your money worthwhile. Her lectures are super interesting and thought provoking, even though irrelevant to the material at times, but certainly a cultured professor. She'll encourage you to know about current events, and will teach you things that you'll probably wouldnt learn anywhere else. A total MUST TAKE!

Super easy class... seriously. All you have to do is read the short stories she assigns the day before the quiz (which she will let you know when it will be) and you'll pass all of them. She assigns 3 essays per semester, but since she took so long to cover a topic she only assigned two to my class. One group project towards the end of term.

She was a very good teacher, it's easy to pass her class. She tells you when you will have the tests and they're very simple, 5 questions long. Her lectures are a lot a of fun and she always throws in a story to make it more interesting. Just listen during lectures and pay attention to due dates and you'll do great.

No cell phone use in classroom she loves for you to hear her speak, literally. Summer term: 2 written assignments and 2 group assignments. Complete assignments and you will pass with flying colors.

She's so cute, very realistic and makes tons of jokes throughout class time. sometimes she won't even get to the main topic of class but still has very interesting things to share. Get ready to hear about her life stories. I mean, 40 minute anecdotes - 10 minute lectures. Barely goes over the textbook but her quizzes are super easy. Make sure to talk and participate! Great teacher, sweet and careing! Took her for summer A, submit your three written assignments, present two presentations (one is a group project) and you will pass. She gives one extra credit, and also does quizzes. Fun class with lot's of youtube videos and references. Just pay attention guys, it's not hard!!!

She is a great professor and does care about her students, however she does talk a bit much and doesn't really prepare your for the speeches. She will tell you what it's about and your pretty much on your own. Overall, you can pass the class by doing the 3 essays and the 2 speeches (informative) and (persuasive). Good Luck.

Easy class. Two essays, another writing assignment, and two speeches. The second speech is a group one. There are a couple quizzes based off of things she said in class so you should show up. She's funny and sarcastic which made the class fun.

A few papers but not too many or any really difficult. Had one individual powerpoint project to which she graded harshly. If you have been told you are good at speeches trust she will tear you down and build you back up. Just to do it all over again with a group project.

Instead of reading directly from the book, she gives examples and videos and real-life situations. You do have to do speeches but with practice, it's easy and she understands many situations. There's barely any tests or quizzes.

The discussions were interesting. We would clash a lot and she can be stubborn when you challenge her. The assignments are simple. No textbook needed, you can find the stories online for free or use the library. She is helpful with the essays. She is disorganized with assignments but it was a really fun class.

Attendance is a MUST because not only does it go towards your grade, but the quizzes are based on what is talked about in class more than the content in the book. Ana is a fun professor. She might comes off a bit dark at the beginning but thats because she is so sarcastic and dark humor. Her class goes essay, she talks a lot but makes the class dynamic by saying jokes all the time. Grades are 2 papers 2 presentations and 1 critique about the presentations. She grades almost at the end which I did not like.

I would 100% recommend this professor. The lectures were on interesting topics related to short stories. Always interesting, entertaining, and enlightening. Essays were easy (and thats coming from someone who hates writing) and few (only did 3) and one research paper and presentation on it at the end. Thats it! Take this if you want an easy A.

Four simple quizzes that include a few questions regarding her lecture videos so pay attention, Three writing assignments (2 essays and a critique of a speech assignment), and the speech assignment (Don't do a common topic). There is an extra credit assignment but the class is fairly easy you probably won't end up doing it. Don't slack.

Ana is a good teacher. We had an oral presentation, 5 tests, 3 essays (500 words) and 1 extra credit. Quizzes were 10 questions = 10 minutes, and I got anxious every time because it was not enough time. In the oral presentations, she interrupts you if you are going over time or reading, and complains about your presentation in front of everyone.

I took her for Enc1102, every class she lectures but its more conversational and she likes participation. She is very humorous and engaging. Honestly it feels like a little book club more than a class. Its a very comforting place. Class time goes by fast, I had a lot of fun just chatting with her.

There are several quizzes throughout the semester and about 3 papers that she assigns along with an oral presentation throughout the semester. Professor Hernandez is a good professor. I liked that the tests were online and that she set due dates months before they were due. She accepts late work and is very understanding. You are able to show up late while still being marked present. However, do not show up consistently late to her class and DO NOT USE DEVICES DURING CLASS TIME.
