Ana is the best teacher, ever! She is ultra organized, she cares, she takes job seriously, but not herself, she's approachable, and she forces students to apply the class' lessons in class. I am ultra prepared for having taken her class!

Ana is probably the example of what a teacher should be. She doesn't teach to the lower standards which most other professors accept. She pushes you to understand the ideas she presents and doesn't let you settle either.

She's goofy, which makes it class fun. She tells you her difficulty with certain spots in math which makes it seem like you can do math too. I wished she taught upper level math!!

Very nice, sweet and helpful teacher. Only thing I didn't like was she seems to speak to her class as if she is teaching a middle school class. Slates were ok, prefer we did class work on something we could refer back to for hw.

Ana is a good professor but her classes aren't easy, you have to do the homework and more, if you understand the material than do the required homework otherwise do more, she is helpful and will take her time to help you learn as much as possible. My major complain with her is the fact that she tries to do so much!!! sometimes class feels rushed

100% on homework just for finishing it. Rarely encounter a math problem that she hasn't covered. You just have to attend class. The semester project is kind of a pain though, with the out side of class volunteering.

Great Professor. Hadn't taken a math class in 12 years and was able to get a better understanding with Ana's instruction. Doesn't use text book very much though. Kinda get the feeling I wasted about 130 bucks.

Attendance is a must. Good instructor however if the whole "share with your neighbor" technique is not for you, look elsewhere. She also makes you do a semester project outside of class that is a little ridiculous because she then grades your written essay on it (grammar etc.). Good instructor otherwise

She was very helpful i enjoyed being in her class if you show her that you are trying she will help you she also has practice tests that students can use and have an idea of how the test question will go.

Coming into this class, I've gotta say that dread crept in, more so because it was always my worse subject. Anna made me feel so comfortable, to the point that I didn't even mind getting an answer wrong. The attempt at it is what she admired. HIGHLY recommend her!

she is a really great teacher! she is so helpful and nice and she really cares about how you do in the class. but if your a texter or you like to talk to people around you, you might want to find another class because she makes sure she has your complete attention. i would definitely recommend her!

I took MAT092 during winter intersession, after no classes in 10 years. Ana made it easy to learn, and very fun. I loved the slates! I will make the commute to take her again as an instructor! Ana is a great instructor, and I would highly recommend her!

Great teacher. Grades fair. if you take 122 make sure you have time, she give you extra work to do along with your homework, and a semester project that involves you have to tutor adults and write a paper on it. She is very helpful if you are having trouble in the class.

Great teacher! some complained that she moved through the material 2 fast but thats what kept me from falling asleep in math! plus she prints out orginized notes 2 follow along with & is very helpfull if u need 2 go 2 her office hours.practice test are basically the same as real test.i also found that i was ahead of the game when i took MAT151

Ana is a FABULOUS teacher, plan & simple! She is organized & on top of things. Her way of preparing you for the lesson, teaching it & reviewing it are brilliant. She gives you the tools you need to succeed! The tutoring project was a great learning tool and confidence builder! Would take her all for all of my next math classes if possible!

Ana is a hands on when it comes to her classes. If you had any doubts of ever understanding Algebretic equations and factoring...if you take her class everything will become clear right before your eyes its an awesome class. Ana is very helpful and I really enjoyed her class.

I just love Ana! She is smart and driven and her love for math is very obvious. She is very structured and organized. She makes it incredibly hard to fail if you are consistent with attending class and keeping up on the homework. She made me like math for the first time in my life. I highly recommend her especially if you're not a math person!

I dreaded taking this class and even though I struggled through it, Ana never let me fail. She was always available to ask questions to. Her tests can be a little tricky, but she just wants to make sure you understand the material.

This is one of the best math teachers i have ever had. She is very easy and very helpful. she has the class very interactive so that you never fall asleep bored in her class. she makes sure every student understand before a test and puts the formulas on the test for you. she will be your own personal tutor if you need extra help.

she's a good teacher and explains everything very well!! doesn't go over test (reviews) you are technically on your own.. but other than that she's very helpful as longest you ask questions!! one thing I didn't like are her PRP's that she makes you do everytime you have homework! :(

She is a good teacher, and knows how to make math easy. But Ana is a very difficult grader. She loves to dock point off tests. Be prepared to do a lot of work.

Took for MAT 92, 122, and 151. And there is a reason for that! She is a great teacher that helps you understand math! She is hard and tests are super hard, but she gives test practice that is exactly like the test, sometimes with the same questions here and there! Take this teacher if you actually want to learn math once and for all!!!

Definitely recommend her! She's a great teacher and has the perfect tools for learning math even if you struggle with it. She's really strict with deadline's and attendance though, so watch yourself! Otherwise if you're planning on taking 122 and onward I'd take her. She gets you motivated for sure!

Awesome Teacher. Best Math Teacher I have had since middle school. She is extremely clear and does everything in steps. She really utilizes resources and encourages you to use them. I always thought of Math as my weakness, but I really excelled in her class and LEARNED so much. She's an easy teacher as long as you actually want to learn.

By far the best instructor that i've ever taken. While you are "on your own" with tests since she does not do reviews, she gives you tons of options to get help with what you need.

Great teacher and she gives you all the tools and NOTES to succeed. Super nice and friendly, BUT she does not put up with BS. I really like the "slate" technique she uses. I choked on the final, but that was ME. I still got a C. Do ALL of the PRPs and the group assignment to maximize your possible points in addition to the mid and final exam.

Ana is an amazing teacher. I have had such a hard time in math over the past few years and taking her class was like a new realization that math can be fun. She never gave up on any of her students and showed us how math is used in everyday life. She set us up for success! If you ever read this Ana, I just wanted to say thanks. I recommend you.

Great teacher. I think there probably is an expectation that we know a certain amount of algebra and basic mathematics in order to take the class. That said, I’ve found the teacher to be very accessible as far as answering email questions. She also has office hours four days a week, and seems to want students to be as successful as possible.

I highly suggest her class. I took it as an online course and she was very helpful and encouraging. I have always had issues with math and I actually received an A with her help. She posted a lot of different options to learn the material and truly wanted us to excel. You will not regret taking her class.

Ana was the best math teacher I've ever had. I've never gotten more than a high C in math and I still felt like I never understood. Ana made it so easy to understand and actually like! Her powerpoints are a little hard to keep up with, but shes super available if you need help on anything.

This teacher is awesome!! She's very nice and helpful. I'm the type of person who has to figure things out on my own and she was very respectful with this. She didn't put any pressure on me and was available when I did need her. I recommend her highly!

Very organized, but I wouldn't recommend taking the hybrid version of this course where you only meet once a week unless you're very self-motivated. Simply keep up on your homework and put in the time to study (exams were exactly the same as the study guide except for the final).

She was a good teacher and answered all questions during she also forces that you learn the material requiring that you get 70% on all homework which really helped on the tests. The only complain is that the final was nothing like the study guide so she had us studying the wrong material for the most important test!

Ms. Jimenez was one of the best teacher I have had. She was super nice and always had the students learning as top priority. There was always time for us to ask questions after her lecture, which really helped me. I would recommend this teacher for anyone!

I think Jimenez is the best teacher at Pima. Normally calculus is very hard but she explained every little step and made it pretty easy. She even printed out the notes for us. Come to class, take good notes, do the PRPs, and study well for the tests and quizzes and you'll be fine.

Challenging course material, but Jimenez is a helpful professor. She provides good feedback on assignments, and grading criteria is clear. There are a handful of fairly easy assignments to help balance the challenging tests and quizzes. The assignment schedule was a little confusing, but didn't change during the semester. Would highly recommend.

Professor Anna is a great instructor, if you can take her , take her, i would take her millions of times if i could.

She will work with you if you have "SMALL" personal problem, expect tons of homework, and a quiz every week.

Ana is a great professor she is always their to help, she will even help you with math if your not even in her class, that's how much she rocks and she will work with you if have family emergencies.

Ana is the greatest professor i have ever worked with , i am not currently enrolled i had to drop this semester but she is working with me outside of class. i am meeting with her once a month to check up on my progress. The only reason i am successful is because of her. Thanks Ana

Ana is an amazing math teacher! I have taken her for all my math courses and I never regret it. She really does care about her students and wants to help, if you don't understand she is more than happy to work with you. She loves math and you can tell. If you have a hard time in math classes take Ana she isn't easy but she will help you understand.

Ana is an one of the best math teachers I have had at Pima Community College. She is always willing to slow the class down so you can understand the material. I took MAT 122 with her before but I'm glad I got to take MAT 151 with her as well.

Ana is the best teacher. I took a 5 week class over my summer. It was SO hard but SO worth it. She really will take the time to ensure you understand the work and what is being asked of you. I wish I could take her for my next math class. If you don't mind hard work and dedication she is the professor for you!

Jimenez cares about her students, but has a tendency to blow through topics (but is willing to slow down if you are brave enough to ask). If math is easy for you, take her - if not, look into other professors. My biggest gripe with the class is the weekly discussion post on the forums that you had to do (if you wanted to keep 10% of your grade).

This is a tough class if this is your first college level math course. Be prepared for a lot of HW + tests. The emporium class allows for re-takes though so it's manageable. Ana is great. She comes off a bit strict because she really cares about her students and expects you to care too. Recommend taking MAT089 first if you struggle with math.

Ana is an amazing human being. She turned a class that I find to be incredibly boring into something I love. She makes the information fun and accessible, BECAUSE she cares so much about her students. WORD OF WARNING: This class is online, so make sure to stay on top of your work because it WILL come back to bit you in the ass.

I like that she offered two ways to take notes for her class with reading text or watching videos. I recommend the videos because her teaching style sticks better than reading text. She makes herself accessible through Google Hangouts & email which she responds very quickly. She genuinely wants you to succeed in this class! Study, do the work!

I found this course really challenging, but very doable if you put in the work. Ana is a really great teacher. if you're taking the emporium class I highly recommend watching her lectures over the text book. Ana truly cares about her students although I found her a bit intimidating at times. Show you're committed and she will do anything to help.

Ana is an excellent teacher, but she makes you work. She cares about her students. I took emporium class and could retake tests until passed- this was a good format for me. It took two semesters to complete all the modules for 151, but I was able to get through. There's lots of help in the online videos plus two assistants in the class that help.

Ana is an amazing teacher, if you have the opportunity to take her, please do. She's passionate about math and tries to share that with her students. You're never made to feel bad about not understanding, she finds a way to make it click with you. Above all of that she's just a really great person, very kind!

Ana is an amazing person, she was great at explaining formulas in the simplest ways. Made learning fun and easier. She's great at keeping track of your progress and reaches out to know if you need additional help.

Great teacher. She is willing to help students with any questions they may have. There is no "dumb" questions in her class, she will teach you whatever you need to know to catch up. Just do the homework, quizzes, and discussions and you will pass. If you skip out on homework (easy points) then it will bring you down.

She is awesome. I really enjoyed her class. Very clear expectations... but also very understanding of life circumstances.

Shes one of my favorites and hope to take her for math97 if she teaches it. She has a great energy, fun, breaks everything down clearly and is available through email or text whenever needed.

I just can't say enough good things about Ana and her teaching style. She is incredibly accessible, inspirational, and caring. If you're new to math or an older student coming back to school, I would HIGHLY recommend taking any of her courses. Don't get me wrong, you have to work, but she literally guides you every step of the way. She is awesome.

Ana is very helpful if you need help in math. She emails you once a week about your progress in the class and meets with you once a semester.

Professor Jimenez is an amazing instructor. She provides lots of links and examples to help you understand a lesson. She's very accessible outside of class and is very willing to help you with anything you are struggling with. I would definitely recommend this course.

I wish I could take all math levels from her! LOTS of homework, but you walk away understanding the concepts if you do your part and work with her to clarify anything you don't understand. She's very approachable, and wants you to succeed, so don't be afraid to meet with her outside of class. Encourages group work but won't force it outside class.

If you have trouble with math then look no further. She is the best. At first the workload was heavy but as you progress it becomes second nature. She could explain anything in a way that made me appreciate how well she teaches. She also gives you great review exams that made you prepared for the test.

Ana's Teaching is great, its a class to take if you haven't been to school in a while she has homework evryday but its helps you understand MATH not just pass you will definitely leave her class with some knowledge. You have so many resources to understand and her Math jokes are hilarious she makes math enjoyable and fun.

Ana is a very good and very sweet teacher and I loved learning from her. She did end up giving out a lot of homework that I had trouble keeping up with but not all of it counts towards your grade. She has a very different style of grading that I found extremely difficult to understand, but she is very good at teaching her material.

this class had a way of grading I have never experienced before and was very complicated and hard to understand. While she is a good teacher, id rather not have to personally estimate my own grade. there is a lot of homework but you don't have to do all of it to get an A. for people with a busy schedule this one may not be a good fit.
