If you do your homework you will pass. All the tests come from the homework. This professor is dedicated to her students. Unlike most professors she is always available when you need help, tutoring or just dont understand. She has a very mild accent but she is entirely understandable. .

she'll explain if you ask questions. if you don't ask questions, she assumes you didn't do your work. test are comprehensive, but if you talk to her, she will allow you to take make up tests at your convienence.

I got the sample test on the first day like others have said. Couldn't do one problem on the thing, but went to the math lab, read my textbook, and I was the only one to ever ask questions. I went from soiling myself on the first day to passing her class with an A. I went and saw her in her office at least 15 X. Always helpful.

I took an online computer class with her.She was extremely helpful and understanding.If you did your work you were fine.I had a question and emailed her and within a few hours she CALLED me back.I thought she was great, but I didn't have to listen to her accent! Took her COSC class online, made an A. Do the homework and review for the tests, should have no problem. She responds to emails very quickly, and you know all assignments and tests at the beginning of the semister. Would recommend her for an online class.

I only used the ebook and WEBASSIGN for this course and i feel it gave me a much better teaching then the book did. If you study you will do fine in her class.

Took her or math 0302 , not by choice.. she was assigned to me last minute.. but is a fairly good teacher. she answers all questions, sometimes takes an entire class period answering questions.. gives make up tests.. only thing i dislike is her grading method.. its HORRIBLY INCONSISTANT! Other than that shes a good teacher!

I took pre-cal in high school so this class was very easy since its just a refresher. She is pretty clear and has great way of explaining things. Don't expect her to baby you though, if you don't understand something say so and she will explain. Chances are you arent the only one who is confused. Overall great :D

took statistics with her (online).She is helpful. One time I got behind and was not going to be able to turn in a quiz on time. I told her the situation and she extended the due date for me. Gave us a study guide for the final that included which calculator functions to use so we wouldn't forget. Course material is tough but I would recommend her.

She is very understanding and willing to give students who try opportunities to improve. She is a tough instructor and extremely thorough for those going into calculus II and III but is also very fair.

I thought Professor Anahita Lorestani did a great job on demonstrating math formal on the chalk board for the class. She went above and beyond on keeping students well informed on all assignments due dates. I was unable to keep up with the class because it had been more than 30 years since I took a math class but she helped me in every way.

First and foremost the instructor's knowledge and teaching methods have been outstanding. Since I have been out of school for a long time, Instructor Lorestani made my transition easy and joyful. I enjoyed attending her lectures. She also attended to the individual needs of students regarding the course. I'd definitely take her again.

I hate that she doesn't release grades even though everything says its been graded. However her lectures are easy to follow. She's willing to work with you as well so long as you do your work. For example, I was out of class a lot and still had a great grade. Her accent can also be difficult to understand at first.

I took this class online, flex. She gives extensions if you ask for it. If one person asks for an extension the entire class gets an extension. Responds promptly to emails. I took her 1314 online class. All the work is through a program called math connect, which ultimately means that you have to teach your self college algebra. The test, and quizzes weren't that hard, its having to teach your self math that is difficult. if your not good at math, I probably won't take her class online.

Great for an online professor. Sends the class periodic emails and responds to emails promptly. A lot of homework but very manageable for the 16 week semester. All exams are timed but they can be completed at home.
