One of the best teachers at CSUS. She is so smart and cute and funny. I loved everything about the class. Definitely take her if you have the opportunity.

She's totally adorable and definitely knows her stuff. There are only 3 tests, and if you study up you should be fine. Other than that, there is only lectures that are not required, but she gives a lot of information that is not in the book that you may need to know for the test. She also gives a review sheet before all of her exams.

Great instructor! Only 3 test so you need to study if you want an A. However, she gives good notes,and she gives you a study guide before each test. Her test are not hard, but you should be there for lecture she gives info. that is not in the text. Amazing lady, very approachable, and wants to see everyone get an A. If you work hard (i.e. do the assigned reading, show up and take notes - simple stuff like that) you can and will pass with flying colors! A wonderful professor with a kind disposition and an obvious passion for the subject at hand. I worked for my 'A' but Annie is VERY helpful, considerate, and interested in seeing her students pass.

Awesome teacher. She incorporates pop culture stuff into her classes (like scenes from The Office and various movies) and is a sweet individual. Great person and great professor!

I took 4310 and 4810 with her and she's awesome. Very helpful. Her seminar was vary straight forward and simple, but keep up with the work or you'll stress at the end. 4810 was interesting. Instead of a study guide she uses a "fair game" sheet. Any of that could be on the test, but the topics that were covered more in class, were more likely on it.

Had her for two classes now. Her tests come straight from her lectures, so YOU DON'T NEED THE TEXTBOOK as long as you take really good notes. Gives a study guide before each test. Very nice and funny teacher.

Annie is a great teacher because she thoroughly explains the material. You need the book, either the ninth or tenth addition. I recommend the 9th because it's cheaper and works just as well. She provides study guides that are helpful. I recommend her. She knows whats he is talking about.

Go to class, take notes, and you'll do fine. (That's what you were going to do anyway, right?) As for the textbook, it's nice to have, but it's not NECESSARY. Take her!

Dr. Guichard is a very good teacher. She really enjoys what she is teaching. The class is interesting and you dont need the book. Lectures from powerpoint, 4 50pt tests that are straight from powerpoint and one easy short paper. Super cool class, I would suggest to anyone!

I recently switched my major to psychology and this was my first psych class at this university. Professor Guichard is an excellent instructor and she really loves what she does. I thought her class was pretty easy. I got an A!!

Highly recommend her. She gives out 4 exams that consist of multiple question and short answer questions.One paper that is 2-3 pages due towards the end or the semester.Book is not needed. Gives extra credit by participating on SONA. If you pay attention in class and ask questions you will enjoy and pass the class.

Super easy class, aced 2 tests so far without having studied at all. She clarifies everything a million different times if you don't understand it. She's funny and entertaining and the class goes by really quick. I never use the book, and there's never any homework.

PSYC 2020, 3310, 4810. She is a very nice and helpfull. She uses powerpoint when she lecture. Which includes pictures and movie clips also gives examples to makes sure you get the concept. If you go to class and take notes you really dont need the book. She gives a study guide and sometimes give simple hmwk. Also she gives extra credit.

She is a very easy professor for this course. If you just show up and pay attention to her lecture, you'll pass. She doesn't assign homework, she has 4 exams and the final is cumulative. She is very clear about her lecture and writes her tests well.

Amazing professor, so nice and humorous. This was one of my most favorite classes ever, I enjoyed it very much. Tests are straight from the lecture notes and some from the book, but she discusses anything you need from the book in lecture so you don't really have to read, but I enjoyed the textbook as well. This class was amazing! Not only is it easy, but is also very interesting. She is really good at lecturing many professors go fast on their lectures and sometimes its hard to follow and be taking notes, she doesn't she goes at a good paste giving you enough time to do both listen and take notes which is very helpful. Dr. Guichard's class is an easy A and she's very nice. If you just show up to class, take notes when she lectures, and study the study guide she provides before exams, you'll pass her class with an easy A. All the information from the study guide is on the test, which is always a plus. Another great thing is that she does offer extra credit.

Guichard is one of the best proffesors in the psych department. Her lectures are clear, and to the point. She gives amazing study guides, and they help a whole lot for the exams. The class consist of 4 exams, and the final. Sometimes she'll assign homework, but she doesn't grade it as long as you do it she'll give you full credit.

Took her online Intimate Relationships class in the spring.. was straight forward... 4 tests, she gives you the dates, and as long as you have your notes/lectures/book you should have no issues what so ever... that's why i put heavy on the test/lecture because that's all you have, great class... learned a lot of useful information.

Whether you're a psychology major or not, Dr. Guichard's Intimate Relationships class is so much fun! It's an online class and her exams were not tough at all. Just write down the notes, utilize the study guide, and you'll be fine. She's also accessible outside of class and she's a kindhearted person. I adore her so much!

Guichard is a talented lecturer that can relay a lot of material in a clear and entertaining manner. Despite this, she has a great pitfall, and that is pure laziness in effectively communicating with students outside of the classroom and returning grades at appropriate time frames.

Copy her power points word per word & youll pass every test with 100%. Lectures are amazing & very clear to understand with examples given. No homework except reading chapters. Just watch lectures & copynotes & you will be fine. Book not needed. Power Points are used.

Showed up to the first day of class and then watched the rest of her lectures online for the rest of the semester. Attendance is not mandatory, just make sure to keep up with lectures and exam dates and you'll be fine. You can take the exams online or in person. Textbook wasnt really needed so I'd skip renting/buying it.

I adore Dr. Guichard! Her lectures are very informative but you learn a lot from them. Her tests were pretty much her lecture exams and she has a fun outgoing personality. I wouldn't buy the book because it really wasn't necessary. As long as you watch her lectures, take notes, and utilize her exam study guides, you will receive an A in the class.

I took the online course which i found easier for me. Live lectures that were recorded if needed to go back and watch again. You could go in class if needed. Extra credit up to 10points for the semester. Exams only 4. Study guide for exams are given. Open book and open note exams.

Your grade is just based off 3 exams and a final, which are easy to pass as long as you do the study guide. Overall she's a great professor, her lectures are entertaining and she's a great person, I would 100% recommend her!

I used the book once or twice for a few things on a study guide, but you don't even need to buy the book. No homework or quizzes, just tests.

Great professor. I never got bored during lectures and she makes sure to involve the class. For our class your whole grade was based off of the tests so make sure you study. Some of the test question are based off of videos shown in class so make sure your there.

Psyc 4810 is a wonderful class with Dr. Guichard. It is pretty straight forward class with lectures and exams available both in person or online. There is no homework assigned and the exams are open notes. Take any class with Dr. Guichard and you won't regret it!

By far my favorite Professor here at Stan State. Her style of teaching is awesome and I would have gotten an A but I missed an exam and did not do so well on the cumulative exam at the end of the semester. Best advice is make sure to watch her lectures every week and you will pass with an A. Wish there were more professors like her at this campus

She's a phenomenal professor. She made learning on spss a lot easier and was willing to take the time to explain the processes of research without judgement. It does not matter what level you start at. With that said, there are in class assignments most days so do not miss a day as it could effect your grade. No real homework. Great class!

There are lectures you can attend either in class or watch online. She does cover the material discussed in class on her tests so watch the lectures and read the book. You only take 4 tests all semester. That's the extent of the workload besides reading and watching the lectures. Learned a lot and enjoyed the semester. Take this course with her.

Dr. Guichard is a phenomenal professor. All you have to do is read and listen to lecture. There are three tests and a few easy assignments. This was an easy class that I felt I learned a lot in. Any class this professor offers, take it.

You can take the class in person or online, so it's great if you need something more flexible. 5 total exams, plus an optional remedial exam. She had to cancel class and put in a small writing assignment, but gave us plenty of time to do it. Lectures are simple, and the tests are all open note if you're taking it in person. I never used the book.

I had Professor Guichard for Psych-3310 and Psych-3660, I absolutely loved this professor and these classes. Textbook is not required, I highly recommend Guichard.

The workload for this class is about a chapter or two a week and watch her lectures. No homework, only exams, but so long as you're watching lectures, going over your notes, and doing the study guides she provides, you'll pass.

She's literally the most understanding. If you pay attention and take good notes in lectures you'll be fine. Her tests are basically the lectures but she goes through everything really well and speaks in a way that is easy ti understand the concepts really fast. She makes the class interesting. She loves participation.

There will be 5 exams total each worth 50 points. Each exam is based on the lecture. Not so much on the textbook. Very fair exams. I wouldnt say they were super easy but they were not difficult. I love her honestly! Shes a great professor. I would take her again. Just study and you will definitely pass!!

Professor Guichard is A M A Z I N G. Lectures were extremely informative, there was only 5 Exams and a Remedial. Theres a chance to get 10 pts ex credit. If you take good notes, youll pass no problem. The only thing is when classmates wont stop talking during every class. It makes Prof Guichard not be able to go over everything as intended.

Straight forward class. Read the text, and take notes during the lecture. Only graded on 4 exams. She provides a study guide for each exam. Pay attention and you'll do well. Same setup as her 4810 (Intimate Relationships) course. Recommend if you are taking difficult classes to balance out your semester. No HW and offers 10 pts of EC.

I have took Dr. Guichard for three PSYC courses during my time at Stan and all I can say is AMAZING. She does not care about attendance but you want to show up because her lectures are intriguing and have a lot of test questions. Dr. Guichard is kind, respectful, fun, and caring, take her you will not regret it!

This was my absolute favorite class. The topic is interesting & her lecture style makes it even more so. Attendance isn't mandatory but I attended every zoom session because it was that interesting. Her class roster was huge so, understandably, there weren't any papers. Grading was based on 4 exams with SONA extra credit opportunities.

Prof Guichard was an interesting professor. My learning style didn't align with her teaching style and that's okay. She grades by a few things: 4 exams, with one optional remedial. Her lectures are pretty engaging but difficult to get into because you watch them on your own time. So there isn't a lot of interaction. Also, I never read the textbook.

Overall Awesome professor, only four exams that are multiple choice and little to no assignments. Super understanding willing to help whenever possible. Textbook is not entirely necessary but may be helpful.

This class has 4 exams and 1 remedial exam. There are almost no assignments and they are really easy. The exam questions can be a little difficult but they are open notes/books. There is extra credit though. The lectures are around 3 hours each week but they are pre-recorded so you don't have to attend live lecture.

This is my second course with Dr. Guichard. She's amazing. Her lectures are roughly around 2.5 hrs long, shorter on exam days. There are 4 required exams timed about 45 questions. 1 optional remedial exam.

I took her for Intimate Relationships and this class was so fun and interesting! There are only 2 small assignments, and 4 exams for the whole course. All questions are taken directly from the chapters for the exam, and lecture slides. Just make sure to read the chapter and watch the lecture and you'll be fine. She offers minor extra credit too.

This class was great! The lectures are 2x's a week, and were posted online for you to reference at your convenience. The lectures are long, 2-3 hours a piece, and reading is required. There are 4 timed tests, and each was roughly 50 questions. Dr. Guichard was very kind and always told students to contact her if further help was needed.

A professor whose intention is to see you succeed. 2-hour weekly lectures; they are live, but you can watch them on your own time as well. 4 exams; as long as you watch the lectures, you are good. I did buy the required book but never read it & still passed with an A-. I recommend this class!

This professor really cares about her students and did her best to check in with us, ensuring we were on the right track, both in the course and overall. Two lectures a week and four open-note, open-lecture exams that make up the entirety of your grade, as well as an optional final and extra credit opportunities. Great professor and class!
