Take this class! Not only is it extremely easy to get an A, but you truthfully learn all the information. She gives alot of extra credit. She very nice. You dont need the book if you attend her class. If you dont take her, your passing up an A and actually have fun learning.

This teacher is very kind, funny, amigable, respecful, fun and helpfull. She understands if your having problems in your life and we'll give you some slack if needed be. Also, her class ruitine is very well balanced as she has group time, fun time and "time to be seriouse" time. I highly recomand taking her for any class that she teaches.

Professor Rodriguez is extremely knowledgeable; makes every class a new experience. She is eager to teach and really engages with the class. She is cordial, sophisticated, unperturbed by daily misfortunes, she finds a way to make the best out of every situation. Professor Rodriguez is very kind and supportive; she lifts her students to new heights.

very nice lady. she give us notes so all you do is write them down and study. So u dont have to come out of your pocket for the book. she gives extra credit so u can bring your grade up. If you fail her class strait up your just being dumb because you didnt study for her test and quizes.

Ms. Rodriguez is a great teacher. Her lecturing is fundamental and builds confidence in me into reading the book itself. She is very positive at what she do to reach to our fellow students.

Proffessor rodriguez is very knowledgable in music, very helpful, she has a very understandable way of teaching, she is very smart in conveying the information. the fact that she makes the class period very interresting, the students never pretend to leave the class early.

This class was very interesting and easy. She teaches things very clearly and will help a lot with quizzes and tests. The textbook is not necessary because she bases her quizzes/tests on her lectures. I definitely recommend. She increases your interest in music as a whole.

I have taken MVK1111, MVK1112, and MVK1311. She is a great teacher very well committed to educating people about music and piano. Bold sometimes yet not rude, instead kind most of the time. Encouraging students to learn, she'll work with you with whatever level you are in.

Great teacher! Students take advantage of her to quickly. She is super helpful and understanding. Loves to teach music and loves to show clips on youtube. Take the class, go to class. All her test are super easy. Take notes as all the test are based on her notes. Got an "A".

She's very lovely, patient, amusing, and insightful overall. She'll work with you no matter what level you're on. I hadn't touched a piano or worked with music theory since middle school and I did just fine. It's only the scales and some pretty basic pieces. Practice & you'll be fine. She doesn't mind tardiness if she knows you know the material.

This professor is amazing. She gives people an easy time and her exams are extremely easy. The book is not really necessary since she uses her notes but the music that she makes you hear is important so the CD is a must. Overall she's a great professor and there is no reason why anyone would fail her class.

Her class is based on her notes.. Recommend you to NOT miss any of her classes if you want an easy A. She is fair, easy, and nice. Only thing I did not like was how germaphobic she is...

Ana Rodriguez, is the best instructor i have had so far. She made educ 1300 easy for me. You could reach her at any time on facebook or email and she was always ready to assist. I rate her as an excellent instructor.

She goes over exams, and quizzes. she lets you turn in work late. very understanding and nice. not too hard test. easy professor.

Unless you are a huge Classical Musical buff, the class is not that entertaining. Rodriguez tries her best though. Take down all the notes! She pretty much hand feeds you what the question/answers for each test and quiz. Just study it. She gives tons of extra credit just for knowing the material. She doesn't like people too absent. Try and Pass

Was not interested in this course, she makes it interesting. gives detailed reviewed class before exam, memorize and youre done. She shows youtube videos and movies which makes the class more interesting. Very nice person!

This lady was there for me. Could not afford text book, she would let me use an old copy she had. The kindest professor you will meet. From never playing to being able to teach piano a small music school.

A long class.. you spend most of the time with the scales. As she saids it is scale boot camp! She is funny and makes class time fun! You wont regret taking professor rodriguez class.

The structure of the class is very helpful for beginning students. She gives small lectures, and then gives assignments to help you understand the material better. She then goes around the class and makes sure you understand the concepts taught in class. She regularly gives extra credit.

The best part of having taken all piano classes with professor Rodriguez is that she gives insight into the professional world of music and teaching piano. Someone that is good to know, if you are going into the music profession. Lectures are good, she helps you out in class. Basically if you work in class, you really don't have to practice much.

My favorite class of the semester, with no interest in the subject. I wish all professors were like her. Extra Credit for participating in class!!

Great Class and Professor. I really learned about how to appreciate music. This class is easy if you show to class, take notes, study for the listening quiz, and study for the Exam. You will pass with A+ if you you just show up to class.

Prof. Rodriguez is the reason why I was able to improve drastically on my piano skills. She's a wonderful teacher and a great pianist herself. She was always pushing me to get better. She also made it clear that to be able to improve my piano skills I need to practice. Definitely recommended!

Professor Rodriguez is a phenomenal professor. The class is very easy, and Professor Rodriguez makes sure that you learning. She is very clear, and gives great examples so that the lectures stick with us. There are very few assignments. All are super easy, except for the listening quiz. And she gives extra credit for everything! Overall, amazing!

SHE'S PERFECT! TAKE HER FOR PIANO CLASS 1-4. She's a pusher when it comes to these classes only because she cares and wants to see her students gradually become super stars by the end of each semester. Don't be intimidated by her. She's like a kindergarden teacher who happens to play piano like a goddess. FREE DOUGHNUT PARTY EVERY SEMESTER!!!!!!!!!

Very simple and easy professor! She assigns 3 exams, concert essay, and a couple other listening quizzes. Very clear when it comes to grading and she makes the class very interesting and extremely easy to pass. Exam answers are given a week prior to the test day.

Professor Rodriguez is wonderful. She is very kind and will go to extremes to try to help you learn the piano even if you at zero. She has the capacity of placing herself on the shoes of students. Professor Rodriguez is outstanding. I read other students' comments after I took her class, and I must say that they are not exaggerating. It is not an accident that so many comments are so great, I know this after taking 2 classes with her. She can bring the best out of the students, and she can always smile and make you feel better.

What I liked about her style of teaching was her feedback about my playing. I was able to learn so much from her comments after each of the exams that helped me get better at my playing. Enjoyed her class.

Great lectures, her classes weren't boring and she was also very nice and funny and loved talking to and interacting with students. Super refreshing. She would start every class playing music students chose. Her tests are easy if you pay attention, but you need to pay attention for her FRQ quizzes. Definitely recommend!

Yes, yes, yes! Being in class is very important because her exams are based off of her lectures, and it's a lot of material to remember, but she does her best to make it engaging and fun. She's also very generous with grades, but I wouldn't take advantage of her leniency. 1000% I would recommend.

Rodriguez is amazing! Such a sweet prof & takes things slow for beginner piano players. I was skeptical of taking Class Piano on MDC Live because it's kinda strange to learn piano through zoom? But she made it very easy & approachable! I'm taking her for Class Piano 2 in Summer B & she's still still just as great! Will write another review soon!

Professor Rodriguez is kind and makes her expectations very clear from the beginning of the semester. She is knowledgeable and passionate about the subject but understands that you might not be and loves to hear everyone's thoughts regardless. While lecturing she will say if something will be on the test and always sets her students up for success.

Easy class! Quizzes are open book and exams are multiple choice. There is one paper you need to write but she is the easiest grader.

I had her in person and online. She is patient and has a sense of humor. Class before exam she helps you with exam piece. One of the best professors at north campus.

She gives a lot of advice on playing the piano and music practice in general. Learned a lot while in the class. She also gives her time outside of class to help you with your playing if you need it.

She is intense. Makes sure that everyone understands before going to the next thing. The class is pretty easy, if you have taken some piano before. Would have been good to have the class in person, but still excellent professor.
