i highly recommend this class! shes very approachable. she goes above and beyond to help you out with any questions you may have. she's a fair grader. however if you're not willing to study, this is not the class for you.
She's a great Professor. Lectures are clear, exams are easy if you do the homework. she assigns a lot of homework but it's VERY helpful. You have to study, this math class isn't easy but the Professor is willing to help, even formed a tutoring group on her own time to help students.
The book will be your best friend. You have to study, it's a lot of material, a lot of weekly homework assigned & due day of each exam. doing the home work is what helped me understand. She doesn't skip word problems, they will haunt you because they'll be on the final too. 4 exams, drops lowest, plus final. she willing to help above & beyond
She is so good! Very helpful and sweet. I highly recommend!
Awesome teacher !!!!! she reall cares about her students underdstanding problems she has been the best math teacher ive ever had !!!! P.S sh does have a heavy accent .
Professor Asadyan is amazing! She is helpful and really wants everyone to do well. I wish she could be my teacher for part B :( She's such an angel, she would even come like 2 hours before class just to tutor! Now thats what teaching is about. The homework was not too much or too little and tests were fair (she gives test reviews).
She did everything (including coming in early to tutor) to help us pass. She is kind and understanding, and though I in no way felt I mastered the material, managed to squeek out a decent grade. If the material is incomprehesible to you, it may still be foggy, but she will do whatever she can to get you through the fog. If you work, she will help.
she is a very inspiring professor! the class definitely requires you to put in effort, but she will do whatever she can to help you succeed.. she comes in early, stays past her office hours .. anything that'll help! she goes above and beyond. she is extemely helpful. i truly recommend taking this course!
i can't express how wonderful this professor is. she is the best math professor i have ever had! it was a difficult course, but she did everything she could in order to help everyone understand the material. she truly cares about her students. i would definitely recommend taking this course if you are looking for a great learning experience!
This professor is one of the most clear and helpful people I have ever been taught by for this subject. She will not give up on her students and will do whatever she can to help you understand the topic. She is a very kind and funny professor that makes learning math actually enjoyable. Honestly, take her class and you will not regret it one bit!!!
i love Ms. Asadyan!! she is a kind, helpful, funny, and wonderful woman that only wants the best for her students. she makes learning easier and gives a lot of practice problems to help you understand. she will extend her office hours for you and even give reviews before the tests so you 100% know whats going on. one of the best math teachers here!
LOVE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!! so helpful and clear. makes math a lot easier and really breaks down the hard stuff! :) TAKE HER AND YOU WONT REGRET IT!
a total sweetheart. really cares and will do everything for her students! really recommend her :)
Taking her now, so far shes a good teacher. Considering her for the next math course in the Spring.
Taking her now she is awesome. Really wants you to learn and breaks everything down. Gives extra credit for participation. Attendance is a must. Also she puts your homework score on your test to boost your grade up. Very good teacher indeed. I would highly recommend her.
She is the one who made me to believe that I can do this stuff. If I had her at HS, I would have had calculus now. She is great.
She should be a fulltime Professor and I mean that, LACC has some bad math teacher but she is the only hope you have if you don't like math! She even took time outside class to teach the class and answer ALL questions. Very compassionate and very smart.
Excellent professor, she is very knowledgeable and very helpful, she will answer you any question you may have. Her tests are very straight forward, she will not ask you anything you haven't seen in class. I really enjoyed her class. I will take her for the next level.
The best class I have had at LACC! The tests are very straightforward and if you do better on the final than one of your previous tests, you can replace that score. She is funny and relate-able. She is also attractive so that's an added bonus!
She is an excellent instructor and very patient with slow learners
I am taking her geometry class now. Thank you guys for your comments, she is really amassing.
Best math professor! I've taken geometry twice only because I suck at math and I still haven't been able to pass it. Tests are super tough, but she is very helpful!
Can't control her class. Does not help in the least. Won't take her ever again. First time rate my professor failed me. She is hard to understand.
She really motivated me to work, which had been driven out of me in high school. Excellent professor, in my book.
WOW, someone from Math105 has an agenda or can't pass the arithmetic class. So telling. She is the most caring Professor I have ever had.
Had the privilege of having her for two classes. BEST teacher I've ever had. Very interesting and unusual style of teaching, you will learn A LOT
She's an amazing professor. I'm currently taking her for an 8-week class for trig. She's easy to understand and does A LOT of problems from the book. She gives out practice tests before the tests. She encourages students to help each other, which I think benefits everyone. If you don't understand something, speak up and she'll try again.
Definitely not an easy A unless you are good at math. She is a very good teacher but if you tend to get behind in your work then this might be a class to avoid, she moves quickly. I loved her!!!!
Great teacher and person. Recommend.
I am a Pasadena Citi college student. I see she is teaching at LACC too. I never liked any of my Math teachers but Ms. Asadyan is exceptionally nice and competent. I like her so much. Hope to take her for the next level.
I took her at PCC during the summer. She's a really nice professor and tries her best to explain the topic. There were only 3 exams, 3 quizzes, which were 10extra credit pts each added to your exams, and a cumulative final. Participation is also extra credit. it's pretty easy since its for non-stem majors. It can get confusin but it's not too bad.
Breaks things down so that you can really understand math. Really easy to follow lectures. My only complaint is her personality. She has favorites in her classes and if you get on her bad side she will be extremely rude to you. She also kind of snapped at a few students that asked "dumb" questions. Overall, good at explaining but can be very rude.
Excellent teacher. Seems a bit harsh at first but she knows the material, communicates it well and is flexible with assignments (up to a reasonable point). Would definitely recommend her. One word of caution though: don't be late!
8-wk course. Exam after every 2-3 chapters (3 total). Quiz points are counted as extra credit on the exams. Gives extra credit to those who correctly shows examples in front of class. Hw assigned at every class meeting. She cares about the students and explains well. Demanding since it's a lot of material for a short-term class.
8 wk course . Fast paced and lots of homework . Tests are on the material covered in class. She is a good teacher and a nice person. She also has beautiful eyes.
This professor is AMAZING at teaching! This is coming from an individual who is terrible at math and ended up with a B because of her! She makes all the material extremely simplistic and is always willing to help. Truthfully, she made math seem interesting and is just an all-around good person. Take her if you want someone who will help you.
Amazing professor, one of the best teachers I've had in my life. She actually teaches you something rather than making to memorize things. Some people had trouble keeping along the class (it was an eight-week crash course), but if you do your homework everyday and participate in class, you will get that A.
Took an eight week course with her and it was well worth it! Sure it was a lot of work and she does warn students about slacking off, but she is very helpful and is willing to work with you if needed.
She keeps changing her mind, it's hard to catch up with her ,doesn't like when you ask too much question. I will never take her again.
This professor has amazing reviews but displays none of the outstanding qualities that the reviews claims she has. She has trouble effectively articulating mathematical topics, expects everyone to know new subject the very moment she assigns it, (then tells the class "oh nobody knows this, you will all fail") & doesn't proper guidance on material.
Its hard to keep up with her. She'll run through all the theorems vaguely and quickly Instead of reviewing for tests she gives you extra credit quizzes, so if you don't understand the topic, expect to be even more confused come test day because she expects you to know all the theorems by heart. Proofs are extremely tedious & this class didn't help
This is a short term class and requires lot of work. She is an amazing teacher.
Don't ever take this teacher. She's not helpful for students and got very high expectations.
Ms. Asadyaa is very helpful and intelligent professor. Gives a lot practice in the class which is very helpful. If you are committed to do lots of work and study, take her class.
She is extremely caring and I am really happy to be in her class. She will not tolerate cheaters.
I took her class because I trusted these "amazing" reviews. I'm honestly thinking that she writes these reviews herself. Only kidding, but she was no help, not an effective speaker in terms of anything really. I don't know why the negative reviews all got thumbs down, they are on correct. The spicy rating is off, whatever the red pepper symbolizes.
I loved her so much. Intense , fast passing class, HW everyday. She is very helpful. Don't accpect an easy passing grate.
The best professor in my book. Not for losers. Just do HW daily and don't miss classes.
Great professor. lectures go by fast and she does explain everything really well. This class is tough though! If you miss one class you'll miss an entire chapter. Good luck!
Professor Asadyan is a great math teacher. The course isn't easy if it's your first time doing trig in years, unless you're good at math, hw helps a lot & must be done everyday b/c everyday is a new section/chapter. Be prepared to study & work hard to get that A, she does her part as much as she can, you gotta put in the work and try being active!
Shes not terrible but not that great either .She tries to do her best but she fails by going too fast and confusing students more than they are already .
If you finish the semester with 69.9% you wont pass, but her syllabus has 68 or 67% passing as a C. Don't expect for her to be nice about your grade she is rude at responding to people. I took her for math 105 & 112 I thought she was good but I did most of my studying on my own. She uses only mathxl and rushes on her lectures.
I really enjoy Professor Asadyan! She really knows her stuff and makes what is on the exams very clear. She understands the difficulty of the course so does her best to make it as free flowing as possible. She is great.
Really awesome teacher to have. Very nice too. She breaks it down for you and works hard so you can understand what you are doing in her math class. But it's a 50/50 kind of deal. You give her attention and respect by doing homeworks and getting good grades.
Horrible , horrible, horrible. Do not take her
I loved this Professor for trig. I took her for an 8-week course and she was an extremely great professor. She was clear about explains the concepts of trig really well. I continued on with my math career, still sometimes referring to my notes from her class. She gave us a study guide for the 3 tests we took in class.
Will easily accuse you of "copying" if answers seem incorrect and for some reason requires group work on assignments even though you take tests all by yourself. While not the most clear otherwise a standard, decent teacher. Just go over the online textbook and do the checkpoints for your own sake and you might be okay.
she is most easy and good professor. if u don't pass this class, it is your brain problem.
Professor Asadyan is very sweet, but I had a hard time understanding her. She has an accent and I'm just not good with accents. However, she does take the time to make sure everyone understands. All her quizzes were extra credit that went to your tests. It is hard to raise up your grade because everything is really based off of the tests.
I took her for Math125. Strict math teacher. Grades hard. Her lectures are really heavy. If you miss a day it will be really hard to catch up. She says that she will give extra credit quizzes but she doesn't. A LOT of homework and its really hard to find time for them. She always mad dogs everyone when they enter the class with a attitude.
The only Professor that made me study! She is great. If you take the class just to pass, never gonna happen. You have to study. She explains thoroughly so everybody understands.
3 exams and then final. Each exam has 14-16 questions. Gives partial credit try your best don't leave an empty answer! Don't need to buy book just rent from library for homework. Takes attendance seriously so if you miss make sure to email her otherwise you risk being dropped! I recommend! This is my 3rd time taking Math 125. I really enjoyed her!
She cares about her students. Yet her workload is at more than just Los Angeles City College. She is at SMC and PCC as well. This is clear in how overwhelmed and frantic she gets. When she does not explain something clearly, she blames her students. Does not write all the equations. Hard to understand. DOES NOT HAVE OFFICE HOURS. Avoid.
Took Prof Asadyan over a year ago. I'm currently in a stats class at UCLA with 250 students. I'm so glad that she gave me a good foundation about stats and I'm currently ahead of my peers because of her class. I now have a true appreciation for her style of teaching compared to my current UCLA professor who isn't very good at it.
She is great teacher, specally for the students like me. The one that believed that there is no way to learn math. But she requires distiplin and hard work. Take her if you are there to work.
Hands down the greatest teacher ever. She knows her stuff and she really makes sure her students understand it too. We get teachers now a days that just don't care about their students or there success, so its a real treat to get her as a teacher.
A lot of homework. Makes sure all students understand the material. She is very kind and funny. My only complaint is that there is an excessive amount of homework that is very difficult to complete if you are not that great at math.
She is honestly the BEST math professor at PCC hands down! She is so sweet and she really cares about your well being! Her explanations are so thorough if you don't understand the class then maybe you need to take math at a lower level! Please take her you won't regret it.
Loved this professor. She took her time to make sure all students understood the material and really showed that she cared for everyone to pass. There was plenty of homework but doable, 3 tests and a final. DO NOT skip class with her, she'll drop you
Very knowledgeable , nice and helpful to all students. I will take statistics with here.
I don't recommend in my case there was a language barrier i couldn't understand her clearly and she gets frustrated very easily! hates to repeat ! she forgets she works for us. requires 3 diff things for homework! book, stat crunch, and triolastats. not sure why many are saying she's great, many are afraid to be ridiculed and don't ask her.
So far good. This instructor know what she is talking about. I enjoy the class a and she is really down to earth.
I took Stat with her the second time and passed ! She is wonderful professor.
Shes nice, but she enjoys giving sermons! As if it as easy for us as it is for her! Asks if they have questions but gets frustrated easily! She needs to understand, this is a hard subject! No one has taken it ever! They dont teach this in high school! Tests reviews arent really that helpful she adds questions not reviewed to tests.
Pushes students to learn which requires stepping outside your box of comfort-ability. Some students are unable to handle this. She is very open (so yea she speaks a lot). She is a very good and an exceptional professor.
She is very knowledgeable and helpful professor. I will take all my math classes in a sequence with here if it's possible. But class was not the "dream class" in terms of some very distractive students. Tests are not hard, she reviews before the test. Loved her!
Great Prof! Had her for Pre Stats, she really explains in detail the problems for you to truly understand them. If you don't understand she will repeat it until you do. Very caring. HW is due when you take your tests. 5 tests total, Final cumulative. Participate, don't skip class, and you'll for sure pass.
Professor Asadyan is kind, and knows the material she is teaching. But for a student who struggles at math it was difficult to grasp a topic when every class session she moves to fast. Her test reviews are not to helpful because she does not go over sample questions for each topic. Be prepared for extra credit only if you are an A student!
I am currently taking Math 258 with Asadyan. An online class that no one was prepared for. Lectures are in ZOOM. She is very helpful and caring and it makes this easier to go through. I wish she will teach next level in Fall.
She is a sweetheart, but the class can be hard. She is not an easy A. Some of the work can get very difficul.
A professor who cares. Just participate, ask questions, study, and do the homework. Math is a heavy subject for me and this was my second time taking stats. I passed! Even during this pandemic over zoom, she took extra time to make sure students understood everything. If she is teaching a class I will be there. She is truly a wonderful professor.
The professor is nice and teaches fine, she uses Connect math for all HW, Quizzes, and Exams. I felt that connect math is not a great program at all. I would have preferred if she used Canvas more than it but oh well. You do need to take the time study for this class.
She is a great stats teacher to take. I took her class during quarantine and all of her online lectures are clear and easy to understand. She is homework heavy, but understanding if you could not complete 1-2 problems. Tests are easy as long as you take good notes. Wish I could have had her in person.
She assigns ridiculous amount of hw. I'm talking 20hrs/week of hw. She explains concepts very poorly and confusingly. Problems on exam are nothing like problems in class. She will force you to always have your camera on + will nit-pick on what people do. She will show one problem solution and then have you work alone, so that she can have a break.
Professor Asadyan is very kind and always wants to help us. She gives us a lot of homework in the textbook but they are similar to each other, easy, and already have answers to check at the back of the book. Tests and quizzes are the same as what we learn. She wants students to turn on cameras just to encourage them to keep working and be active.
Awesome, extremely impressive Professor if you really want to learn. Much appreciated.
Professor Asadyan is, by a large margin, the worst professor I have had the misfortune of having to deal with. She is inefficient with class time, inaccessible, and callous. She assigns an inappropriate amount of homework, and her supplemental material is inaccurate to test and course material. She is unable to explain concepts, terms, or logic.
I have no words to describe how much respect I have for this Professor. She is an incredibly passionate and knowledgeable person that spends all her time making the class as easy as possible. The tests are identical to the homework (She does assign a ton of hw). Super easy to approach as well!
I took her for the Winter. Truly one of the best professors/teachers I've ever had. If you have questions she really helps make sure you understand and breaks it down. She made the transition from an in person class to online really smooth. She was very attentive and got back to you asap. Overall just a great professor.
Professor Asadyan was THE BEST math teacher that I have ever had, hands down. I took this class online, so there was a lot to do outside of class to prepare, but I liked it better that way. She spends the whole class time going over examples, so going to class is essential for understanding the material. Put in the work and you will do well.
Professor Asadyan is very caring and the lectures were very informative. She is accessible outside class and always helps us to understand the topics easily.
The class was a remote and a lot of work was done online. It definitely wasn't an easy class if you study and she gives you all the tools to pass tests. The tests aren't that bad either and I loved her lectures and the way she explains things. She uses WebAsign. She gives lot of practice during lectures that I deemed most helpful.
I am currently taking her fall class for 2022. She's an amazing professor and cares that her students actually learn the material. She'll let you retake the quizzes and tests to get a better score too. I don't like the fact that zoom meetings are mandatory especially since she provides recordings of all of her lectures. Overall she is amazing!
One of the most caring professors I've had the pleasure of taking. Cares about every student's progress and encourages questions no matter how simple. Amazing lectures, easy to follow, and she goes through many examples to make sure you understand. Take advantage of class practice. I'd take her for every math if I could. A kind person in her soul.
I took Calculus 1 at SMC and struggled, but the way Anahit teaches at Lacc is great; she tries to get the class working with emojis and breakout rooms. The course is dependent on your laptop, internet, and financial resources to get on WebAssign. Final and exams are on WebAssign; I wish we had more time on the exams, though. I would take her again.
Winter 2023: She lectures too fast but it's understandable since it's a winter class. I like how the tests are based almost exactly like the homework. She allows a formula card for every test. She says she gives partial credit but never regraded my work. She's very nice and gives lots of examples. She answers all questions. I recommend!
Took this course in the winter so it was only 5 weeks. She mostly went over examples but had a good amount of theory and rules too. She used cengage for hw and tests/quizzes and had a few group assignments. She did not allow notebooks for tests but allowed flashcards for formulas. Do the hw and ask questions in class and you will pass.
This course at the time of enrollment said that the course was to provide "support" as needed. Meaning extra help if a student needs it. The professor didn't operate the class like that. If I needed help, she would give more assignments or not want to spend time on that question. I did not receive any support.
Watch notes and listen to the lectures. Print the Canvas notes because it really does help!! Just be consistent with the notes and do the work!! There will be 4 exams. Final and chapter overview exams. The exams are easier than the homework. The homework might have some work involved, but just do it and you'll pass the exam.
Take this class! Professor Asadyan is so nice and approachable. You will need to study to do well but that is expected in any math course. There are 3 tests. She gives plenty of time during these exams and allows you to use a full page cheat sheet. Speak up for help and go to office hours!
Pretty good at the lecturing aspect, listening can get a little droning but it does depend on yourself. She calls people out quite a bit and is super harsh. Accuses people of cheating constantly for many different reasons and will make youexplain everything or she'll fail you for that exam. She won't curve either. Good homework assignments.
Great professor! Very knowledgeable and prepared. Class was online and the best thing, she WILL NOT tolerate cheaters. I got best experience in this class!
accuses anyone of cheating for no reason with no proof. more concerned about finding cheaters than helping her students pass. test are way harder than hw you will see problems you have never seen before. doesnt answer emails. not enough time for tests.doesnt give feedback on grades so u don't know what u did wrong, doesn't curve. webcam on for test
Taught a new chapter on Mon when final was on thurs which gave us little to no time to study for final when we had to learn a whole new section Cramming in a new section 3 days before the final was brutal. Students who had an A the entire semester failed the class with F because of this. Tests on cegnage you have to be on camera Calls out students
I took the online class during Summer. She was clear of her expectations pertaining homework, in-zoom work, and exams. She is highly organized and her lectures were very useful. She is very fair to everyone and If you pace yourself and work, you will be fine.
An extremely caring professor. She explains the material thoroughly and stops for questions whenever necessary. Tests can be easy if you study. She provides all the material on Canvas and does give out bonus points at the end of the semester if your attendance was good.
Asadyan is a great professor! She is very understanding, and earnestly wants her students to succeed. She makes herself available frequently for anyone that struggles with class. Friendly, wants to know students' struggles with class, helpful. Get ready for homework on WebAssign (online), and it helped my understanding a lot.
well structured lectures. it was an 8-week course but even with the extra time we still had a lecture a day before the final. generalizes the class for cheating, she grades fairly but no partial credit for work. no ec, no rounding. no office hours. a little hypocritical. she will come after you if she belives you're cheating. good homework
Awesome professor . She would explain in very simple terms that made stat easy to understand . I loved her way of teaching. Very nice and respectful teacher.
Too strict and accused most students of cheating or called them out for the most littlest of things during zoom. I agree with what one of the other reviews said, she cares more about catching students cheat than actually teaching. Homework was fair but the exams had problems we'd never seen or learned before. I'd recommend taking someone else.
Take her if you want to learn. I took in Summer. I have never seen that large class. There were fifty something students in Zoom. She gives plenty of practice that, hands down, helps. Will call in if you, let's say, completed 2 hours online test in 20 something min. Lectures were very helpful. Unfortunately doesn't teach linear algebra this Fall.
Don't even think.
I will never pass the class without her constant help and ability everything breaking down. I am a VA and she was only professor that started with thanking me for my services.
The worst math professor I ever had. Avoid!!!
She uses Webasign, lecture notes, well organized Canvas shel, which was so helpful. Gives plenty of examples. Take her if really want to learn. There will not be an easy pass, unless you learn. Much appreciated .
I enjoyed the class.
Very organized, well structured lectures, understanding and caring. Hands down I will take her again.
I have learned much more from this one professor compere to all my math teachers in a past. She is very open for the questions and really cares.
I took her for the Winter semester. It was amassing tough intense class. Loved her.
She is a great teacher, very helpful and very approachable. I hate math and I ended up doing very well in her class because she really makes sure everyone understands before moving on.
Such a great teacher! She seem to have a gift for explaining difficult topics very well, and her passion for the subject made me enjoy it more, too! I really appreciate all of her help inside and outside the classroom, and I'm glad I got to take another class with her.
I took Professor Anahit Asadyan for Statistics w/Support In Person for Spring. She is very caring and the lectures were very informative. All Homework/Quizzes/Exams are through an Online platform called ALEKS. I ended up doing very well in her class because she really makes sure everyone understands before moving on. And she is open for questions.
She is the best!
great professor! uses "my math lab" which costs about $200, so be cautious of that. loved her course, and she explained things super well and was available outside of the class a lot!
She is always making sure everyone understand before moving on and is very open to questions at any point of the lecture. She bases the test around the homework so you're never surprised by the type of questions on the quiz. She genuinely does care for her students and wants them to succeed. Would take her again if I needed another math class.
She's one of the sweetest and caring professors! Her lectures are very clear and understandable and she doesn't mind if you ask a lot of questions. She lets you use note cards during tests because she knows that we cannot memorize everything. Make sure you do your homework because tests cost a lot of points! Very understanding & cares for students.
Tough class, but unstuck ai helped with studying. Lectures can be disorganized, and tests are very challenging. Engagement is key to passing this course.
She is one of the most profound professors I've met, giving that favorite high school teacher vibe with her engaging and easy-to-understand explanations.
She lacks empathy and every class is dreadfully boring. She wouldn't give me a B when my score in the class ended up at like %79.99 Teaching for a paycheck. Doesn't care how grades will impact her students GPA or future academic career. Requires zoom+proctored site for exams. Susan Vo or Chung, are better and actually cares if you learn.
I took Linear Algebra and Calculus 2 with her. Most knowledgeable and helpful prof. I've ever had. Do your work, do not cheat, you will be fine. She is very fair and understanding.
Really cares about students and preparing them. A lot of work throughout the semester but gives lot of practice. One of the most engaging professors at Lacc.
very very very easy class but there is a language barrier that cannot be ignored. easy to misinterpret so i guess ask a lot of clarifying questions.
She made the course easy by doing lot of examples. Willing to answer all questions. I learned a lot from her.
She knows her stuff, everything very clearly laid out, lots of assignments per week but they're not very difficult, exams are all pretty much common sense. Take her if you want to get what you need for the next Math in a raw.
She's Aight
One of the best in her deportment. I'v never had someone who's spent that much energy to explain the lesson as she. Ask questions, she will not ignore or make you feel miserable.
Won't take again, ain't worth it
I have learned a lot from her. She is so good at teaching. Really good!
She was a substitute professor for a last month. I definitely, regret that did not take her class in a first place. She saved me!
She is a real gem. Very accessible and personable. Her lectures are extremely well managed. She gets through lots of content efficiently. She is also willing to explain any basic math concept over again to you if you forgot which is great because a lot of math professors can be condescending. Highly recommend taking math with her!
Her lectures are good and she can teach very well. But, many of my friends and I all found her tests very hard and not reflective of our homework. She says she will give partial points but she never did, if you miss one small thing you get the whole question wrong. Doesn't like extra credit and u need to show you're engaged to be on her good side
Unless you have a super strong foundation from Calc 1, DO NOT TAKE HER. Her problems in lecture are fine but the homework is hard and the exams even harder. The homework Qs are also very long and tedious for no reason? Cengage doesn't help much either in understanding tbh. Overall, please don't take it unless you feel confident in Calc.
She is very kind, good lectures, always prepared, very understanding and funy. I learned from her what I missed in Calc 1 even. Ask questions, she will answer all of them. Recommend!
She is an amazing instructor to have for math. She makes math digestible. Homework for each section, 4 exams, and a final. She wants all her students to succeed so please ask questions if you're confused about something. She tends to change her explanation if it wasn't clear the first time.
