He is a pretty decent instructor is willing to work with you with in reason. The class is very hard do the homework and show up for all classes. You must be willing to work the class is over all pretty hard and he tries to make it as easy as possible and to keep you intrested, and engaged.

Although statistics class is VERY difficult, Dr. Manage is great teacher. He loves his job & he is more than willing to help you if you dnt understand. He goes kinda fast, but if you ask him to slow down he always does. AWESOME guy!

He knows each of his students by name and he makes sure the class is understanding the material as he is teaching. You have to do your part and do the homework questions even though he doesn't grade them they help. Also working through the review 2-4 times

Great Professor! Took it in the summer, went REALLY fast. You have to be on top of the material. Quizzes, 3 exams, a few SPSS assignments, and HW problems that are not collected. Explains material clearly and willing to clarify questions. If you apply yourself an A is possible.

I took Dr. Manage for Calculus I. I very much enjoyed his class. Although the material itself is complicated, Dr. Manage does his best to make the material as clear as possible. He never turns down anyone who is seeking help and is reasonable with his expectations as far as homework, tests and quizzes. Partial credit was offered. He is very fair.

While Calculus is in itself a difficult subject matter, if you are determine to learn it and seek help from the right outlets you will succeed. I found Dr. Manage and the University's Math Lab instrumental to doing well. He is very willing to help explain any problems in both lecture and in office hours. He does a very good job for how difficult the subject matter is. It is tough for non math majors but he works very hard for his students in making sure they have all the tools needed to pass.

Quizzes every week. 3 exams plus the final. You can only miss class twice after that your grade starts to fall. If you need help ask and you shall receive it. I had a study partner so the class was not easy nor hard. Simple advice is to attend class everyday and study 2-3 hours out of class. Do that and you should receive a B and above.

Dr. Manage is passionate about his field and anyone that's taken a college course knows that passion is key to enjoying and passing a class, from both the student and primarily the prof. Fantastic class. I have never been great at math and had some trouble at the beginning, but Dr. Manage did his best to work with me and keep me going. Very upbeat, positive, and extremely helpful. Dr. Manage is a really good instructor. Whatever you don't understand in class just ask and he will personally help you with whatever problems you have. He uses a combination of board work, powerpoints, and homework problems that are not necessarily mandatory. If you take the class serious you will do just fine.

I took Stats twice. My first time around I felt as this was this hardest course that I took in college. I took this instructor during the summer which is the best time to take it. This instructor really explains the concept of everything and makes sure that you understand the information. He made statistics fun. I recieved a B the second time.

Responded to all emails and questions in a timely manner, made sure the class understood the lectures and threw some occasional jokes in there. He is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. I am really bad with math and made an A in his class. He explains everything so well and always makes sure everyone understands. He is Sri Lankan so if you struggle with accents you sometimes cant understand him. It is quite an easy class and you can make an easy A if you do the homework.

If you are a CJ major, take him for stats. I am not good at math and was nervous to take this class but ended up doing good. He gives you everything to succeed, you just have to work for it. For STAT3380 make sure to give yourself enough time for the homework assignments not many problems are assigned but they can take a LONG time to complete. Much work throughout the semester is done by hand so be ready to practice.

This can be an easy class if you attend class and do your homework. You don't NEED the book except for the homework problems. He posts powerpoints on blackboard, he posts test reviews, gives weekly quizzes, and gives you the formulas for quizzes and tests. He's a really nice guy. I highly recommend taking Dr. Manage for statistics. Lectures are crucial to passing, but he will take the time to explain things thoroughly when concepts are not clear. While completing homework is not required to pass, I highly recommend doing them several times with study groups. He also has quizzes every other class so be sure to show up.

Probably the best statistics Professor at SHSU. Is willing to help out the students understand by breaking down the material to its roots. You have to study or you will not get a good grade/pass. There are no surprises in this class. Lectures are straight forward. Extra credit is awarded for attendance. You have to purchase a homework software which gives you access to the book (not required). The homework is great practice for the WEEKLY quizzes (only 5?) and the quizzes are a great review for the tests. TAKE THIS CLASS!

I took this 4 week class during COVID. He was very flexible if you needed help. His lectures are ppt read and boring but he offers multiple opp. to make a good grade on hw. Exams are difficult!!!He does drop the lowest to assignment grades to help. He was very understanding during this time as the class switched to 100% remote.

Prof Manage did a fantastic job teaching this course. As we all know, COVID messed up this class and turned it fully remote :(. The Prof didn't skip a beat and provided video lectures. Whenever I needed help he was fast in replies. His tests followed the homework he provided. He's very understanding and would 10/10 recommend his class.

Every moment this semester I struggled and needed help, he reassured me that I could do it and worked with me to get the grades in. Had it been any other professor this semester I am certain I would have failed. If you want to pass he will work with you to make it happen

I'm horrible with anything mathematical. I struggled several times but Prof. Manage did whatever he could to help & get us through the course. He is the not only caring but motivating as well. I hate math. I hate math when letters and equations are involved. Only downside is the Lockdown with a webcam it gave me major anxiety and my brain would go blank trying to remember equations. Professor Manage assured us that we would pass and offered help when we needed it.

I read the notes, used the book, got a tutor, and watched the lectures and I still did not pass a single exam in this class. The only reason I passed the class was because I did well on my homework. There are 3 exams, 11 homework assignments, and 2 special assignments. Hardest class I've ever taken, but I like the professor.

Class consists of 11 homework assignments, 2 spss assignments, 3 exams and one final. Professor is very accessible outside of class. I hate math completely and was so afraid of taking this class. I took him for summer 1 and I passed with a C. He had 10 homework assignments, but because it was a summer course you had a week to complete 3 assignments which took about 2-3 hours each to complete. I hate math and decided to take in the summer for 4 weeks to get it over with and done. Great decision! Heavy homework,just do it and make 100 on every assignments. Test over homework use T84 calculator to get it done. Extra credit and communicate every day and open to working with you .If the course is required take this teacher in the summer.

I had him for Summer 2 and it was intense bc it's sped up but I ended with a 9. He curves the exams and offered a few assignments for extra credit. Your grade is up to you. His lectures are long but are just like the exams. Def recommend bc he cares and actually tries to help his students; He also understands we aren't all math majors!

I disagree with lower ratings, Dr. Manage cares and it is clear. Stats is difficult and he teaches it in such a fluid way that it becomes very easy to understand. He grades fairly and is almost always available. In many ways, he grades on understanding, rather than memorization, fostering a positive learning environment.

I took his Summer course which is very fast paced being it's only 4 weeks but he kept a well organized class structure with the modules opening weekly. For a summer course such as his, you do need to spend a lot of time studying but it can be done! I highly recommend taking his courses!

Best professor I have had, hands down. I will address the only issue I had for the students skimming through the reviews: His accent, which isn't even that bad. He goes through the lectures very well and breaks down the formulas. He's nice and caring. Work is easy: 1 webassign, 1 quiz/week, and 3 tests + final exam. The textbook is just his P.P.

Great professor! Makes math understandable for non math majors. Weekly quizzes, four exams (including final), and he drops your lowest assignment and two lowest quizzes. He can replace your lowest exam with your final if it's higher. Attendance not required, but missing fewer than two classes gives you 2 extra points.Very helpful and supportive!
