Andrea is very funny and keeps the class INTERESTING with stories, jokes, and audio and video clips. I actually liked going to her class. She posts power point and learning objective online. She wanted everyone to do well and did everything she could to help. If you need psychology you should take her. She is also NICE to look @

Halarious. Made class fun, plus she had all kinds of stories from working in Mental Health. Always asked for questions comments and concerns. Seemed frustrated that people didn't read the book. You'll get an A or B if you show up, listen, and turn in assignments.

She is awesome. I loved her class, the answers to her tests are in the lectures she gave in class. She made the class entertaining and fun to be in. Her assignments were not difficult to complete.

Ms. Cartwright was very helpful in helping students achieve their goals. IF you choose to do well in the class then you will. It's all about the effort you are willing to put forth. My advice is to do all the extras, or at least most of them. Your grade will benefit. My opinion of Ms. Cartwright is still high; she is human so isn't perfect.

I had to drop the class for unforeseen circumstances but I will be delighted to give it another go with this particular teacher. She makes the class fun and interesting, but it is not a breeze either. If you really want to learn something with a quality professor that actually gives a damn def. take this class! :)

The course was very hard for me as a estudent as a second language. But the instructor was very helpfulness.

She gives plenty of time to finish required assingments. If you don't plan on attending class throw 330 dollars out the window and stay home. Fairly easy if you read the text book, come to class and participate. Excellent Lady. Willing to help students who find the material difficult.

The course work is as hard as any college class you take, but ALOT of extra credit oppurtunities and easy homework. She is willing to help if you ask. Likes to give questions in class but then not tell you the answers. Overall a great educational experience and is almost impossible to fail if you show up and do the extra credit.

She's a smart lady. She's really funny, down to earth, and cute. She gives loads of extra credit. She let's you drop your low test and they are open book and open note. It's almost impossible to fail her class if you do the work and extra credit. #dropoutifyoufailherclass. I got good grades on the first 3 exams, so I'm done for the semester

This is a great online class. The assignments aren't difficult and don't take too much time, but they help you. Do all the extra credit and pay attention to the optional work because there is extra credit and she posts MP3 audio lectures. I listened to them while driving or working out. If she takes the time to record them, students should listen.

The tests were open note, but really hard. You have to really now the stuff and be able to apply it. Noing vocab is not enough for her. You have to apply what you no. She gives Wiley online homework and it really helps your grade, if you do it. It's possible to get an A in the class if you average a C on tests , do all the Wiley, and extra credit.

This is a great class on death and dying. It got uncomfortable, but it really made me think. It addresses some difficult topics like suicide. I work in a nursing facility and I wish I would've taken this class earlier. We read the whole book, but the professor was amazing. She got back to e-mails, posted MP3 lectures, and gave extra credit ;o)

There was a lot of reading but as long as you understand the material you should do fine. There are LOTS of extra credit possibilities. Some exam questions are based on scenarios. She also has audio lectures which are helpful. She is very good at responding to questions you have in a timely manner. Great professor!

This class was pretty smooth. We had weekly work to do i hated the discussion board because you would have to type 6 sentences and then respond back to two class mates with 6 sentences as well. It was like writing a paper every week. Theres plenty of extra credit. Must do your readings. Online quizzes. Awesome class overall.

We covered the whole book by reading a chapter a week, but it wasn't bad. Go to class, do the extra credit, make sure to do the Launch Pad. She's nice but is more similar to a university professor than the other teachers there. She has standards and expectations. Listen closely and you'll realize that she's got jokes. I just graduated with my bachelor's degree and looking back she was the best processor i have had by far. She knows her content and is very enthusiastic, was the best learning experience I had a JCTC.

Do your Launchpad assignments. Do the discussion boards, even if they seem tedious or not interesting that week. She gives plenty of extra credit opportunities, much more than you'll find in ANY other class. In her online class, she was really good about making future assignments accessible ahead of time so students could work ahead!

I really enjoyed my experience in Professor Cartwright's class. Her lectures are fun and interesting, and she gives her students plenty of opportunities for participation. I felt like I learned so much in her class, which is perfect because I'm a Psychology major.

I met her for the first time last night and graduation, but I have taken 4 classes (PSY 110, 223, 230, and 298) with her online. She was at graduation clapping and cheering for us. She posts mp3 lectures for her online classes that really help. After meeting her I wish I could have taken her class in person. She's young, energetic, and cares.

Great class. I had her class online. 4 tests , some quizzes and a few discussion boards. You can work ahead because assignments are posted ahead of time. She gives extra credit. Her quizzes are timed and theyre not super hard but the tests are timed; 52 questions and you get 1hr 30 mins to complete it.

Great class with a GREAT professor. You will love her and pass with no problem if you go to class, do the reading, and turn in your assignments. You will LOVE her if you do the work and go to class. You will HATE her if you don't. No cell phones, in class, and no late work. She uses blackboard and is very fair. You have to go to class to get an A.

This prof is very knowledgeable and makes the material interesting. Attendance is optional, however, extra credit was offered to those in attendance. She is very caring and encourages participation (part of the grade is for participation). Really cares about her students. Great speaker; good feedback and accessible outside of class.

The class just started and i love it. The teacher is super responsive, reads our discussion posts, and post lectures for us to listen to. She posts stuff ahead of time so student have plenty of time to get work done. It seems like she has a plan and knows what she is doing. A lot of teachers at this college just throw stuff together. Not her.

I had this professor for an online class. If you do the work, read and take notes you will not have a problem. She creates optional online lectures and power points, which are very beneficial! Even for an online class she is very encouraging, especially at the end of a semester! Make sure to take advantage of the extra credit options.

Absurd amounts of extra credit that will carry you through the class. Her speech is extremely informal and casual (a plus in my opinion); expect to hear swearing and hear her talk to the class as if she's casually explaining psychology to a friend. Very open to outside assistance. If you fail this class, you're just not trying hard enough. Easy A.

Great class with a great professor! She was very organized, allowed students to work ahead,and great about posting reminders and answering student questions. You do have to read the book to get a good grade. You should listen to her lectures too. Do the extra credit, it will make up for a couple of missed assignments. She does not take late work.

The bookstore overcharged me for the textbook and Ms. Cartwright went down to the bookstore with me to help me resolve the issue and get a refund. While we were there she helped several other students get the right textbook for the right price. She even stopped to talk to students she knew. She really cares and did not have to do all she did.

took PSY298 online. course was easy to navigate & Prof. Cartwright provided supplemental powerpoints and audio lectures with each textbook chapter. assignments were 1 chapter a week with fairly easy other little assignments. only 4 exams. the final was optional and would replace your lowest test grade

By far the best online prof Ive ever had. Each topic and chapter includes several different kinds of exercises to complete, so youre absorbing the material in different ways. There is no excuse not to learn in her class. Shes very professional and expects respect, but gives that respectful treatment back to her students. Shes amazing.

I liked that she always offered extra credit and was super understanding and accessible. She really cares about her students feedback on her teaching skills. I loved that she always checked in throughout her lectures to make sure we were understanding the topic. I definitely learned a lot from her class and would take it again! :)

Professor was good overall, but she took more than a week to grade papers, making it tricky to know what may need to be fixed on the next assignment before turning it in.

Dr. Cartwright is great! If you have problems she records videos to help and offers to video chat with you. This summer she was very flexible and had a very generous policy on late work. I am a visiting student so I do not know what she is like otherwise. She is a stickler for quality so be sure to follow all the instructions for assignments.

She did the Xmas photoshoot and was so cute. She is fun and into holidays! However, you do have to read the book and do the work. It helps to go to class too.
