Tests aren't took difficult as long as you take a night to study before. 4 Exams total, but she drops your lowest test score. TAKE PROFESSOR AC!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! :)

This was my first time taking a flip class and I consider this the easiest math class I have ever taken. All you have to do is your assigned work and ask questions when you come to class if you don't understand. She helps whenever you need it and is clear when explaining the problems. As long as you come to class, you won't be disappointed.

Took Flip class. Easy if you watch the videos and fill in notes before coming in to class. Homework is done during scheduled class time. You will get an A if you do the work she ask for. Took the flipped class and it's great because we would watch a video and follow along with it in our textbook and when we would get to class we would do the homework there. Took Mrs Cordaway Math 0310 online course this Summer. No textbook required. For the Participation grade you just post 4 times on the message forum with Q&A about the homework. There are 3 exams, 1 final and a lot of homework All test was to be taken at the school testing center but no calculators could be used on the test. :(

Thanks to her, I was able to better understand math. The flipped model of the class really helps since you watch videos and take notes at home then come to class to do the work. She will answer any questions you have over the work given. She does not give quizzes since the quiz grade is the notes you did at home. Overall, she was amazing!

She is THE BEST. I took her flipped class in Summer. We had 3 exams and final. The final replaces the lowest grade. There were no quizzes, instead she graded our assignment. Complete them and get 100%. Simple. Her reviews are EXACTLY like the exam so there are no out of the blue trick questions. Do the review twice, she gives 6% extra. Awesome!

she makes a hard subject easy. she gives extra credit which is just doing the review twice, which makes the extra credit effect whether you make a 98 or 104. the HW is her making sure your keeping up with the class so as long as you "keep up" your good, but even then shes very understanding.

Very easy class. She has a online blog where students can watch videos and fill out there classwork while watching the videos. She makes it so easy for students to pass her class. Taking this class online, there is about 7 very short easy homeworks and then 1 test per month at a testing center. VERY EASY CLASS.

Cordaway is probably the best math teacher Ive ever had. I really dislike math but she would go out of her way to make sure I understood. Her class is incredibly easy if you TRY and ask questions. She offers tons of extra credit on tests and homework/class work is mandatory so make sure you show up to have that graded because she checks it daily.

It was a flip class which was a completely new concept for me & it was a lot of material in a short period of time, but if you really put the work in you can definitely get a good grade. The work is all done through a website, and I had to go in for tests four times throughout the semester. The review for the tests is just like it, which was nice. Hate math? Need math credit? This is the professor for you! If you are able to teach yourself, you'll do quite well. The work is not that difficult, and you will have a test monthly at a testing center. Drops your lowest test score with final score. The only issue I had was having the password at the testing center ready. Highly recommended!

Amazing! I took her as a freshman and my gosh. I had her for a flip class. So basically we watched a video at home and filled in the notes from the packet. We do the quizzes at home and the class work. So just show up to turn in ur quiz and leave! We always laugh in her class and she gives good advice.

Videos and guided notes in D2L. Schedule that tells you what video that coincides with each section in the math labs, and the videos explains how to navigate in D2L in math labs. Homework are short, 10-12 problems. Great great professor. Highly recommend!

This was the best math professor Ihave ever had. She teaches everything very simply and provides online resources you can use to practce along with the answers so you can check your work. Also she understands if you miss a class or two and it doesn't cause a big effect on your grade.

Its been a few semesters since I have taken her and rating off of memory, but I remember her being a great teacher. Barely any work to do, only a piece of paper to submit at the beginning of class or next class to get the grade.

Not that much work to be honest. I had very few issues with the material, she does not use Zoom and tests are practically reviews with different numbers. Homework is not due until exams for that unit is due. She gives a couple announcements about if certain modules changing and due date extensions. Best math professor I have ever had.

All the work/instruction is online videos and in the online textbook so she is not providing any actual instruction. But she is there to answer questions if you need. The online textbook makes this extremely easy and the tests are the same as reviews with different numbers. This is a great option if you just need to get your math credit done.

From the get go you are given an assessment, if you pass with flying colors your workload is cut up to 90%. That being said, DO NOT GOOF IT. She drops a test grade and 1 assignment grade. She will help you in anyway you need when it comes to expalining the material. I would take her again for anything math related. TOP NOTCH PROFESSOR, 5 stars!!!

This class used ALEKS which was very straight forward and simple to use. There were tests about every 3 weeks or so which were proctored using a camera on your device, if that is important to you. I found that this class was made a lot easier because of the way it was structured and because the teacher understands that the students have lives too. The classes were structured to watch a lecture at home or wherever convenient and do a little lesson then in class do problems and ask questions if you need help.

I can not say enough good about Professor Cordaway, she is literally the most real person I have ever met. Pair that with her teaching style I wish I could take her for every Math through College, tests are the same as review just different numbers, you also get to use a "cheat sheet", which made the test not a memorization thing. Taken before 2021. Poor materials and lectures. Although you may get A easily, you will not get enough skills to survive Cal II, Cal III and other advanced Math classes. Not recommend for students studying in a Science course.

I took the online 6 week prerec math / college algebra duo. The key points are highlighted in the syllabus to keep things super simple. Classwork was released on day 1 so you go at your pace. She allows a cheat sheet for the exams which is super helpful. Do not hesitate to reach out to her for anything.

She is a great professor, I learned a lot & did very well in her class for a student who is not good at math. she did great as a professor & i would recommend her to everyone.

Was always looking forward to going to class! she made learning math fun. If you do your work and the extra credit you will do fine. She gives out an accurate calendar for the semester its very easy to get ahead. Be aware that it's a flipped class, you will do the notes at home and the work in class if you choose. I recommend taking this class.

Her course is considered a flipped class which means you do the notes at home and the work in class if you want. it's very easy to get ahead in her class. I did struggle, but only because I'm not good at math. she's encouraging and has a positive view of life. highly recommend.

Cordaway is an amazing instructor and puts in a lot of effort into her job; she is very helpful and genuinely cares about her students. She is very calm, supportive, and amusing, which creates an enjoyable and stress-free environment for students. I definitely wish I could have a professor like her in all of my future classes.

It was very difficult. In a way you teach yourself the lessons and you better study hard to understand the information given to you. I am not a school kind of girl so it was a struggle but I will say she is willing to work with you and assist if you need it. The math tutor definitely helped to.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED her. Her class is very easy to stay on top of, she has all the assignments, note videos, reviews for the whole semester posted at once. She cares about every student in the class and only wants the best for each one of us. She also gives extra credit for each exam (in person at least) and is VERY organized with the assignments.

Professor Cordaway is the best math teacher I've had to date. She gives you ample opportunity to make extra credit points on exams. The lectures are straight forward and the exams are exactly the same as the reviews, so there's no surprises. She's passionate about your success in the class and furthering your education.

Honestly she's such a sweetheart , she cares about her students and ALWAYS comes in her class with a positive attitude. She's never walked into class with negativity or an attitude. I loved Prof. Cordaway's class. She was clear on her grading criteria and made all assignments due at a reasonable time. She was super sweet, funny & truly cares about her students. She sends out emails when you are missing assignments or exams, but only because she cares & wants you to do good ! I'd recommend anyone to take her class.

She was the best! She counts attendance as a daily grade for that day's assignment, so an easy 100. She provides test reviews, and if you do them 3x, you'll get six extra points on the test, and that helps out a lot.

I really enjoyed taking her class this semester. Her class was pretty simple to follow with the main daily grade being the notes instead of the classwork. For tests she gives a few ways to get extra credit which is great. She is also lighthearted and funny during class.

She is an amazing professor; she genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed in her class. there are many ways to earn extra grade points. Math is not my strong suit, but I'm passing her class because she wants us to learn, actually. She is up to date with grades, and the assignments are never too difficult.

I was so scared going into my first college-level math class, but I loved her! Cordaway is genuinely caring and helps whenever she can. Class is flipped though so you do the work outside class and then bring it in to work on it/get help if needed. Cheat sheet allowed for exams, extra credit game at start of class. Professor Cordaway is really good at giving feedback on test and gives chances to get extra credit. Do the class work because the problems on the test will be similar to the class work and test reviews.

Best teacher ever! Her reviews are exactly like the test just different numbers, and you also get to have a "cheat sheet" for your exams. Also just by you showing up to class you get extra credit everyday when you come and play a game of blooket. Her homework is also a very easy 100. Not only is she a good teacher, but she's also an amazing person!

Ms. Cordaway is hands down one of the best teachers i've had. She's caring, funny and engages with her students. She makes it very easy to pass her class as long as you do the work and gives plenty of extra credit!

If you work hard in her class, your grade will reflect it. I had many things going on (an emergency surgery & getting custody of a foster child). She encouraged me to keep trying when I wanted to quit. I will carry that with me always. Learning that you have people who want you to succeed and truly care meant more to me than any grade ever will.

Attending class with completed notes is mandatory, so be sure to have them completed at home by watching the videos. There are plenty of chances for extra credit. I took my college algebra class online with Professor Cordaway. She had a lot of quizzes at the end of every unit, which ranged from 5 - 3 questions. I say that they were pretty easy. We had about 5 tests, and the final was 25 questions. I would take this class; it was very helpful.
