I've never been one to do well in math, but she really made things clear. She's a great teacher if you're really looking to learn. There is homework every night, but she goes over it the next class to answer any questions you didn't understand. You can tell she really wants her students to succeed. I wish I could take her for statistics too.

Really nice lady and very funny. I accidentally missed the final cuz I was looking at the wrong final schedule and she let me retake it after the semester had ended and grades had been posted. No other MP teacher is that nice. Anyone can get an A if they try and do the homework.

Honestly, the most helpful lady in the world! If you do the homework and pay attention in class you will get through. She is always willing to help you before and after class. Before the tests and quizzes, she will review to make sure everyone understands the material. I love this prof! She wants you to get a good grade.

She is an AMAZING TEACHER!!! had dedicated office hours incase we needed help. Since there was no class before ours she showed up 1/2 hour early to help the students with hw. we also had a small review before every quiz and an hour review before every test. she gives extra credit. yes this isn't an easy A but she is one of my FAVORITE TEACHERS!

Great Professor! She made learning the material extremely easy!! She breaks it down and SHOWS all the steps necessary so people can visual follow along. Any questions students had she answered right away and clarified for us. Reviews before quizzes and exams were also very helpful! Best math class I've ever had!

Where do I start? She is AWESOME! She gives homework regularly but this will prepare you for the tests! She will do whatever she can to ensure that you come to the tests prepared. If you aren't doing well, its because you haven't put in the time to see her and ask about it. She is always willing to help and always reviews before tests.I LOVE HER!!!

I just finished her M10 class and it was pretty hard. She's a good teacher. You have to put in A LOT of time into the class in order to pass. Do all the homework, and do not miss a class. I studied an average of 10-20 hours a week. She's nice, I enjoyed her class. It's a lot of work if you have other classes but she's great. Take her class!

Awesome teacher! Very in tune with students. Won't move ahead until she's sure everyone understands. Totally accessible for help before class and via email. Lots of homework, but that's how to "learn" math. Not a class for slackers who just want an easy A and use a calculator. Seriously, if you struggle with math,take Professor Nemeth!!

First of all the 1 bad review is someone who took her for a week. So no. I was scared about not being able to use a calculator but it was totally fine and she gets our pain. She wants to help you so badly and is so sympathetic about the work load (which is a lot) but honestly its totally doable cause she teaches it so clearly. Theres no surprises.

The best class I've taken at Moorpark College. Finding a teacher that cares so much about her students is rare but she genuinely cares so much about her students and will do anything and everything to help. She's willing to go over material ten times until we get it. She doesn't let you use a calculator but theres really no need. She's easy on you.

This professor is absolutely wonderful. She has so much patience with everyone and answers all questions you may have. She has a very big heart and has no issues staying after or before to accommodate you. The work is not the easiest but she teaches it well and does what she can. I would love to take her again.

I've always struggled with the math department but Professor Nemeth makes sure that her students fully understand the information. She breaks every problem down into simple terms and gives individual help to those who need it. You can definitely tell that she cares for each student.

Prof. Nemeth is probably one of the best teachers I have taken at MC. She is 100% dedicated to making sure each student understands the material. You do have to put forth effort, BUT she breaks it all down on the board, is there before and after class, and is always available via email to answer any questions. I actually hope to take her again!

Too her for College Alg. & Trig. Her class was extremely clear and easy to follow. She provides notes for you to print out and bring to class to follow along. Homework can be time consuming, but isn't usually difficult. Her tests aren't hard or tricky and she offers extra credit on some of them.

I took Professor Nemeth for both algebra and statistics because she is an amazing teacher! Her lectures are very informative and she breaks everything down into simple terms. She really likes to make sure that every student understands the lecture or math problems. She does like to randomly give out extra credit so make sure to attend class!

Let me start off by saying that Professor Nemeth is a sweet heart! She is very nice and you can laugh with her. Calculus is a very tough subject. Lots of homework but do it as it saves your grade. She gives extra credit, and she is willing to make sure that you understand it. However, her tests are very challenging. Spent weeks studying for tests.

I only needed Statistics to transfer, so my goal was just to pass with a C and move on. That being said, I did really well. Let her know if the homework was confusing. Be in class for every quiz (group quizzes with the dates listed on the syllabus). Do any and all extra credit. Go before class if you have questions. Communication is key, y'all.

Stats isn't an easy subject, well at least not for me. Professor Nemeth is really sweet and does an amazing job at making sure everyone understands what's going on. Her quizzes are group which is really generous and she gives a flash card option for tests! Wish all my teachers were that awesome!

She goes step by step & if you dont understand she stops and helps clarify,considering you speak up about ur questions. drops ur lowest quiz score & hmwk. For the lectures she works through problems with you and presents everything clearly. Offers extra credit. Ask her anything! Always happy to explain but you do have to speak up! ;) The online homework is pretty pointless though.

Andrea Nemeth is such a nice woman and she really does want you to pass. The problem is the homework. I think that homework is important but the amount of homework was ridiculous. The study guides help a lot but the tests were very difficult. If you take her class, be ready to work and make this your main priority.

Professor Nemeth does not give quizzes or tests. However, there is a pretty heavy load of homework, a project, and a journal assigned EACH week. Originally, group projects are assigned, but during Covid this didn't work well. Instead the same group project was assigned individually. Professor Nemeth is sweet, but be prepared for a lot of work!

Professor Nemeth is the standard for all math professors. She does an impeccable job explaining calculus concepts, and won't continue until every student understands everything. There's a lot of tests, but they aren't too hard. The only downside was that there was quite a bit of mandatory homework, but it helped for the tests. Take her!!!

Prof Nemeth is an Angel from heaven. I haven't even finished the semester but had to write. She is not only a caring compassionate funny & amazing teacher but there are NO EXAMS! Only a final and everything has an equal grading percent, 20%. You do need to take heavy notes and a lot of hw through OLI but it's worth it. Please take her if you can!!!

This professor went out of her way to offer additional support and encouragement to students she saw struggling with the material. I would highly recommend taking her if you have math anxiety. You can really tell she loves what she does and cares about her students. Do the reading (even if you're confused at first) and you'll be fine!

Open notes 4 quizzes and exams. Amazing & really cares about her students. Once you're in class it becomes clear when she explains the notes. I took the 4week course was intense but was able to do it with a newborn baby. So do the homework, show up in class mandatory, and ask questions on things you don't understand she really wants you to succeed.

I loved Prof. Nemeth. I took her 8-week stats class this summer and it was tough, but she was so helpful anytime we had questions. We were able to work on our homework and projects with classmates to make the workload a little lighter. Definitely who you want for a statistics class!

Loved this class! homework only consisted of reading 5-15 pages and a small 10 question quiz at home but you get two tries. Class was only note taking and most of the time we would be finished up to an hour early but if you miss even one day you will not know what to do for the quiz and small projects, so attendance is extremely important.

Professor Nemeth was the best teacher I've ever had. She was so thoughtful and SERIOUSLY cared about her students. Her lectures are easy to follow, basically no hw. She will read your group projects before you submit (if you go to class early) and will tell you what's wrong, literally making it impossible to get below an A. TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!!!!!

This class was amazing. It took effort, and participation, but as long as you put in the work you should get an A. Read the text at home, take notes, and do the groupwork in class. There are online quizzes after lectures. The only exam is the final. Her "exams" are group projects. So make friends, and work together. Professor Nemeth truly cares.

I hate math, but Professor Nenette made it better. Lots of hw but worth it! Practice makes perfect. I did get a c but again both my strongest sub lol but she is very sweet & cares about you. She wants you to pass, so she offers tons of help and is always there to help! I would def take her again! Tests are similar to hw probs, just diff numbers lol

I hope other teachers take a course of hers and take notes on how to properly teach. You have to put in the work but she does an amazing job with her lectures. She does have a bit of an accent, but I never had too difficult of a time understanding what she meant. I love Professor Nemeth! Her class is very easy. Typically she would assign pages to read (on a free online text book) prior to class, go over a worksheet in class, then do a 10 question quiz about the lecture in groups. Some days are group projects & attendance is optional. She will help answer questions on quizzes, projects, & more. Great class!

Ms. Nemeth is one of the best teachers, hands down. Super easygoing, knows the material inside out, and knows how to make it accessible and won't quit until you find a way to learn the material. I dreaded taking Stat for so long because I figured it would be boring or difficult, and this was not it. Laptops were provided to use in class.

Classes consist of a lecture or project. You can work with up to 4 people on quizzes and projects. The final is open note! Just be sure to come to class and ask questions!

One of the best math professors I've had. Had an A, the final took me down to a B but that was completely on me! Her lectures are so helpful, she gives students SO many resources, no homework or presentations, all she cares about is that you understand the material, she CARES. She's in her room an hour before class starts JUST to help students.
