As many of the people before me had said, Professor Patella is HOT!!! She takes up homework occasionally, but will announce which beforehand, she gives helpful review sheets, and her tests aren't difficult considering you actually did homework and study. Very pretty young lady!!! ;)

Excellent Teacher...yes she has the looks but that NOT why she is a good teacher. She is very thorough in explaining everything and is not opposed to making math sound easy. Professor Spalding is the best math teacher I have had since third grade. She goes over the material in its simplest forms and she is very thorough at teaching her math techniques and notes. Take her if you have a difficult time with math like I do, or take her because you want to pass. She bends over backwards to help her students any way she can.

Professor Spalding is truly AMAZING! I made an A in here 0308 class, and this is coming from a guy who is not the greatest at math. Most importantly what I like best about her is if you ask for her help she will give it 100% by going over material you don't understand. I had her for college algebra, one of the bests professors I had and it's my first semester in college. She's so cool! I wasn't even worried about this class. Her reviews are soooo helpful.

I took Mrs.spalding Flip class math 0310 and it was awesome you watch videos at home and do the quizzes based on the videos and do the homework in class perod. tests were easy and she isa awesome professor who breaks down her work.if you fail it's because you didnt do the quizzes because the tests are exactly like the review. I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the "flipped" class and it was pretty easy. The lectures were on her blog website; you basically watched lecture videos. Homework,quizes and exams were in class. Not a difficult class to pass if you watch the videos, do the homework which is not much, take the small quizes and go to class.

I took Ms. Spalding's class in the fall and it was the second time taking 0310 the first time i got an F in another teachers class then i took her and made an easy A. As long as you pay attention and do your work you will pass. She is the best teacher I ever had for math. Explains everything so clearly. Take her class!!!!

I do not recommend this class. She is completely monotone and doesn't really stop to allow for students to ask questions during class and is never in her office during office hours. This class would be better if she connected with her students more then she does now.

If you wanna pass don't get her. She deducts every single point possible in everything she grades it is more like she is trying to help you fail rather then pass. Best Trig teacher I've ever had. Organized, understood the material well, and teaches it very well.Has tutoring hours as well(but never needed it). Posts notes and examples online after class and answers every question. She breaks down her methods and why. Gives bonus hmwk and replaces worst exam grade with final. I don't think ms.spalding is a bad teacher. I feel that if you are in this class to learn because you really don't know the material than it is best that you choose a different teacher. One of the best math teachers I've taken so far in college! I love how she puts the notes from lecture online so if you miss a class, you can access all of the notes from her blog. She is also a fan of using technology to display the notes that she has. She is very clear and she is also really helpful. Currently taking her now and she is such a great professor.

She was a great professor! Math is not one of my strengths, but taking business calculus with her was very manageable. There is homework every night, but the assignments prepare you well for her exams. She also posts all the completed notes on her blog, so if you have to miss a class you can just get the notes online. Would definitely recommend!

Hands down best math instructor. She's very helpful if you don't understand something and she is willing to stay after class to explain in further detail if you ask. Best math professor at Lone Star. I've dropped this class twice and after the third time passed with an A. She gives reviews, posts all the notes online & makes YouTube videos over the lectures! She gives tons of bonus points & will give you credit on tests even if it's the wrong answer as long as you show your work. I highly reccomend her!

Teaches too fast and gets mixed up when explaining the wrong answer with the correct one. Also is very strict when taking test and leaving class early. If a student leaves class early she gets really bothered and gives everybody a quiz of the end of the class by just writing your name on half sheet of paper.

I've had a lot of great math teachers but she's near the top. Verbally, she connects well with students making it easier to understand. We used a fill-in-the-blank packet instead of a book which was annoying but cheap. As with any math class its best to miss as few classes as possible. She's also very lax with test grading and gives partial credit.

I took her for Trig & she was VERY organized! She had blank notes & completed notes online, even videos of her lectures, she goes step by step on every problem. However, she's just not very friendly because she's strictly business in class which is okay. Watch out for random on-time quizzes that she does! Other than that, trig was just challenging

Incredible algebra professor - broke down concepts so everyone could understand them no matter their skill level. Always there for you when needed, explains things to you in a easy way, although you might be a little stress out if your not good at math and decide to take the 8 week course, 3 days a week, for like 3 hours a day. But she's amazing and worth taking again.

Her teaching style just wasn't for me. I've had friend's who love her, but I need work sheets and from the book kinda learning. Her main work load is on connect math. She grades tough, so make sure you study. Definitely lecture heavy. If you learn old school like me, maybe consider a different professor. Overall she's very caring and passionate.

This was by far the worse profesor I have had. She says in class to go to her office if you need help, yet she looks at you with disgust when you go and ask for help. Very rude. Teaches 10 things in one day, doesn't like answering questions. Test is nothing like the review ! No restroom breaks during the test ( if you have a sick stomach, take a 0)

If ur a math wiz ull probably have no problem doing good in this class. if not you actually have to work for your grade and study a whole lot. expect lecture quiz test r like reviews. 4 test total plus 1 final. Final is cummulative and hard. i usually got 90s on my test, i got a 50 on final. im a slow test taker and theres not enough time

I took her during summer session so it was super fast pace which I was okay with. She is low key MEAN! There were times when people came in late and she would get so mad. You have to attend class and be on time! She is a tough grader. Shell take off for any little thing. Overall she presents the material in a clear manner.

When she notices that people are having difficulties grasping the material, she recommends you to see her after class so that she can personally walk you through the confusion. When grading exams, she's very lenient and will give points for attempting to solve, even if you get the answer completely incorrect. Exams are identical to the practice exams. If you don't pass, you didn't try. Her videos are easy to follow, understand, and can be accessed during your online test as a point of reference. I took her class Spring 2021 Online and I do not regret it, so much so that I am now enrolled to take Math 1324 for Fall 2021. She has lectures which are clear and organized. As long as you take notes you will pass her class. Easy A.

I took her class in last year, before the pandemic suddenly started, Nobody would even ask questions in her class because the times that we did, she would look at you "dumb". Math takes some time to understand and solve, and if you didn't understand well, you had to look for some other way. I dislike the class with her,

Just take her. She's really good at explaining and goes into detail. She uploaded pre-recorded videos. She responds with in a timely manner for questions. I wish more professors would use her teaching methods.

Excellent Professor! Take her class! Lectures are her own YouTube videos and she clearly explains the content and solutions to problems in the videos. Detailed chapter homework solutions are provided which helps to better understand the content. Four exams plus a final. Partial credit given on exams if you show your work. Responds to emails.

Very nice professor. Everything is on Webassign. There are 4 exams that are spread out with hw due with each exam. The hw you get unlimited tries. Each exam has 3 versions, so basically 3 tries on each exam. Each try you get 3 hours. There is also a final exam.

Professor Spalding's class was very clear and easy to follow. Watch the lectures while taking notes, complete the homework and it's a guaranteed A! Responds to emails and questions very quickly as well. Honestly enjoyed her class for what I learned. Not the easiest math class, but definitely one of the best! Got my $$ worth for sure!

Prof Spalding provides many resources for you to use. If you miss class, there are videos of the lesson. She also provides blank notes that you can print out and use in class. There is 1 quiz per week (3 attempts), 4 exams (1 attempt), and 1 final at the end (1 attempt). She also gives partial credit if you show your work.

I took Professor Spalding for Precal and Cal 1 Amazing Professor! She explains all mathematical concepts very well and goes into detail. Provides all exam study guides, be ready for quizzes, and HW. ALL VERY EASY. ALL are from what we learned in class.I'm an engineering student take her if you really want to learn MATH and build a great foundation.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. Well structured class, she teaches & gives you everything you need to pass. I understood Cal 1 with ease. She gives homework solutions, exam solutions, study guides, final exam study guide... Practice, practice, & practice. Learn your basic forms & remember your algebra & you should be good. Good luck.

Amazing professor!! I took this course online so she posts lecture videos explaining all the course work. You will pass this class if you really pay attention and put in the effort. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, She makes everything comprehensive and doesn't skip steps. She has tests that are exactly like the problems worked in class. You have to show every step and do it exactly the same as shown in class to receive full credit. She also provides review videos for all math's before the class you are currently in. Honestly deserves 6/5

I was really nervous about taking math online but this was a great experience. She had great lectures that lined up almost perfectly with the homework which lined up really well with the exam questions. Exams are not lockdown browser and notes are allowed. The homework site is forgiving. Provides lecture notes. Provides tons of resources for help.

Lecture videos are clear and easy to understand which makes her a 5/5. Doing the homework helps as well. She gives partial credit for incorrect problems. It's really just remembering formulas, and what to use in which situation, I recommend typing it out, and copy, and paste the formulas when needed to reduce error, and time, as much as possible.

I NEVER MAKE REVIEWS! BUT, Professor Spalding IS THE BEST! I am a senior Texas A&M student, but have always struggled with calculus, since freshman year. Her lectures are clear and straight to the point, what she teaches is what's on the homework. The exams are based on the homework as well. I took the online Calculus 2 class during the summer!

She is amazing and incredibly organized. One of those few professors that makes you love the subject. Best math teacher I've had in my life. Take her if you want to truly understand the concepts behind every formula or basic form.

In Person Review, Truly a phenomenal Math teacher. Your grades consist of 10 Quizzes (3 Attempts) and 4 Exams (1 Attempt) w/Final (Replace lowest Test Grade). No homework, only practice problems (optional). What she teaches and how she writes the notes is exactly what is on the exams. Lectures and examples are explained well, so don't miss class!

Loved her! Her lectures were so easy to follow and it made this class the easiest math class I've ever taken. I wish she taught Calc II as well. 10/10 recommend her.

I had Prof Spalding for an 8 am class, and she made a great effort to keep us engaged and alert during class. Her YouTube videos on the course material we covered together were extremely helpful in preparing me for the exams. Even though homework was assigned through MyMathLab, it wasn't lengthy and didn't take much time to complete. She's awesome!

Prof. Spalding is an amazing professor. She made Calc 1 pretty easy to understand and gave good lectures. Although there is a lot of material to study, everything you study is on the exams. She does drop your lowest homework and exam at the end of the semester which helps your grade a lot. I would definitely recommend taking her class!

This prof was great! All her lecture videos are very easy to follow as long as you print out the blank notes. Her class consisted of 10 quizzes, 4 exams and 1 final. On exams you can submit your work for partial credit on problems you get wrong, there is a calendar to know when quizzes and exams open and are due. Would definitely take her again.

This was one of my favorite classes. Her videos are excellent and help you understand the material really well. Her exams go over the exact same content as the videos, so they were not difficult at all. You could also get extra credit if you submitted a photo of your work. I would definitely take her again.

She is really nice. You do use myymath lab for this class but she offers practice exams before the actual exam that are very useful. She also lets you have a cheat index card for each test so it is really easy to pass. She is a great teacher honestly, I hate math but she made the class easy.

This is not a very hard class and she is a wonderful professor. Assignments were easy to understand and simple. Each exam had an optional dropbox for extra credit; as long as you used the correct formula to solve the problem and got it wrong, she would give you extra credit.

Such an amazing professor, it consists of 4 exams worth 60% of your grade. The final exam is worth 20% of your grade, so tests are 80% of your grade. The homework is very helpful, and the exams are similar to problems pulled from class notes. The practice exams are helpful, but focus more on class notes when studying for the exam.

The lectures are super clear. She responds to email very quickly. Do the extra credit for every test! The exams are similars to her study guide. She lets you have notes on 1 6X4 flashcard for every exam and 2 for the final exam. All the quizzes are online usually one every week. I'll recommend not to focus on the word problems for the final exam.

I took her during the summer, and she was incredibly organized and had lecture notes you could print out to follow along with her, so you don't spend your time writing, and you can spend more time paying attention. The homework is used as a study guide for the 5 (fairly simple) exams, and she offers to help you during office hours if needed. 10/10!
