Really cool teacher! Super easy class, he wants his students to succeed and he's there to help you. A lot of material right out the book and very clarified lessons and homework, just do well in the discussions and make good notes for the exams and you've got yourself an easy A!

Class material was very interesting and the way it was presented was truly in the fashion of an online class. More and more professors try to shape the way that their students learn online (read this, take this practice quiz, study the notes, etc). He treats online classes as independant study classes which allows autonomy in a structured timeframe

Great professor. I took BUS 63 online and learned so much. Professor Clausen really sparks student interests. Not only is he a good professor, offering help and great information, but he also has invaluable real world experience in the world of entrepreneurship. I definitely suggest this class for anyone even slightly considering entrepreneurship.

Mr. Clausen is an excellent professor. He challenges your thinking which prepares you for the real business world. You must work for your grade, however, you will receive immediate, thorough support and assistance. His Bus 63 course is an excellent class The textbook is very specific and useful. This is a great class where I have the best online class experience out of 5 online classes I took at SMC. The assignments make us learn and think instead of just memorizing the answers. Point allocation for the Grade is well spread, so any student who put effort into learning and doing the assignments should pass the class.

Very helpful material and class structure. I especially enjoyed the use of real-life case studies.

The course covered allot of material which all seems necessary to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Since there is much more depth possible for each one of the topics covered, the course was a great blend of specific and general knowledge for life in business. I have a stronger understanding of each topic and, I know what to work on further.

I've taken a lot of college classes, and Clausen's Entrepreneurship class is by far among the best I've taken. You have to work your butt of in the class, and reading is must! Drew will hold you accountable. Nevertheless, he treated us like professionals and not just student. This course is an invaluable experience, especially for an entrepreneur. Drew challenges us with his assignments, & exams, however, he is very fair, and advocates for his students.

Extremely useful course for anyone interested in starting your own business. You have to stay on top of the reading and due dates and times. Great professor. I would def recommend his class but start on your business plan right away. I suggest that as you study each chapter and complete your homework and discussions, you fill in your BP with the information you have learned. Professor Clausen was a very attentive teacher that had great response time.

I enjoyed this class very much and found it informative. I specifically wanted to know the correct way to do a business plan, not only did I find out that their are many ways, but learned of the many research avenues and resources available to you, most at little or no cost. It was well worth the sleepless nights. The comradery was great

If you are interested in becoming an entrepreneur then this class is recommended. It's a tough class cos its an 8 week class but very informative. The 3 exams are quite easy (multiple choice) but the business plan is something you should not wait to do last minute. He really wants his students to succeed! :-)

Simply said, one of the best courses I have taken. You will learn more than you had expected in the course. If you want to learn about entrepreneurship, I would strongly urge you to experience it yourself. In terms of difficulty, I'd agree that it was challenging, but if you've been an A student, then you will end up with an A. Strongly recommend.

I wouldn?t have minded of taking this class in a 12 week session rather than 8 to yield more satisfying results. Prof. Clausen contributed valuable entrepreneurial insights based on his rich knowledge and experience. I appreciated his personal attention and promptness for student inquiries.

My b63 class was a pleasure.At the beginning,I was a bit skeptical about taking another online class. A is awesome at getting back to you via email and will always answer your questions.Exams aren't that hard but kind of tricky.Final project was a lot of fun - and also much work. Learned a lot. The only thing about the class I found to be difficult was the tests. I had to re-read the questions a lot and even though I found answer in book I was still wrong. Great teacher and very responsive. Answered questions and reviewed work in a timely manner.

Very informative and useful class. The instructor was great - very responsive, upbeat and motivating. The tests are not easy, so read and study. The final project was very comprehensive and detailed (don't wait to do this). I would recommend this class/instructor.

Professor Clausen has a love and excitement for what he teaches. He also integrates activities that will help in real life - in my case, writing a business plan from start to finish. One of the best online courses I've ever had. I would say his class is pretty easy if you read and do the work. Although the bus plan was challenging, his thorough critiques of our writing assignments are really helpful. Professor Clausen actually takes the time to grade, fully critique, respond to, and provide examples on how to enhance our hw.

Drew is a very great and inspirational professor. He is very clear about grading and it is easy to know what has to be done and when it is due. Thus, don't be like me and miss 1-2 assignments because there is no extra credit offered in this course. You could easily get an A-grade, but make sure not to miss any of the assignments.

This professor really cares about your passing grade, but more specifically he cares about you actually learning something in his course. If you do not care or do the assignments early on in the week, then he won't waste his time on you (understandably). DO NOT take this class if you are a procrastinator! GREAT instructor!

Professor Clausen is really encouraging. Furthermore, his materials are fair. This means as long as you do the reading, there is 100% chance for student to get an a. And make sure to study the terminologies and concepts. Those helped me so much to get full points on the discussion. He likes to see students to use the entrepreneur terminologies. )

Weekly discussions, respond and answer to video questions at the end of the chapters, read chapters to prepare for exams, and one project. There are only three exams no quizzes, and he gives you two attempts for each test, awesome! Overall it was a very informative class, and perfect for new and existing entrepreneurs.

This was a fast passed course so be ready to do the work and discussions weekly. He's very understanding but does not get involved with class discussions. Overall, would definitely take more classes with him.

Clausen cares that you're engaged and learning, but doesn't care to correct any of the MANY mistakes in the syllabus, schedule, and exam questions. Some of the questions have 2 right answers (or none), all the dates and chapter #s are wrong, and he doesn't really seem interested in fixing any of it. Sort of a "class in a box" for him, it seems.

I really enjoyed taking Professor Clausen's Entrepreneurship Course! We had course activities each week that were knowledgable and interesting. This is one of few classes that I genuinely enjoyed every assignment required. We had fun discussions with other students! I would highly recommend.

Great information and learning experience. The Quizzes were somewhat redundant, boring, not a good experience, and the grading system did not make sense.

The book was okay, could have done without the Case Assignments examples. A lot of work due in a few days, that was rough. Professor Clausen was organized and offered feedback and some of his experience. More business plan, strategies, growth strategies, obtaining capital future markets, etc. Tailor Entrepreneurship but he's a good professor.

i took Professor Clausen's online Principles of Entrepreneurship class and am very satisfied with the course. It is only 8 weeks long so everything moves fast, but Clausen is a real entrepreneur and thus I found everything he communicated to be extremely valuable and interesting. Course grade exams + final business plan + very do-able assignments

Professor Clausen seriously is amazing professor, he cares enough to push you when your work is less than, and encourage you when your feeling overwhelmed. I would recommend him a million times over.

He gives you clear instructions as well a clear understanding of how he grades. I took a 8 week class and it required a lot of reading to prepare for the homework and tests.
