I have had Drew every semester since I started at Delta. He was recommended to me by a friend. I had him with his wife, Sarah Wiley for the ENG 112/HIS 111 learning community. It was an incredible class!!!! They travel so they know about these places.

Drew is an AWESOME teacher, don't settle for anyone else. TAKE HIM!! He is so helpful and grades fairly. He also really improves your writing by at least 50% throughout the semester. i got straight A's and had a blast, TAKE HIM!

I took his class through the internet, on World War Two and Holocaust. He I very helpful and very easy to understand.

Drew was the first teacher I had at Delta; ao awesome I had to take him for Eng 112H. He is very clear, more concerned with improvement than mechanics, knows his subject well...HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone.

Drew is an excellent teacher. He takes time out of his day to talk w/ you & makes sure you understand the assignment. The class wasnt hard-- & I took alot out of it. If you put any effort into this class at all--you'll become a better writer, and a have a great honors class on your resume. :)

Drew is a great teacher. I used to hate writing, but Drew helped change the way i think about it.

Wonderful class, wonderful teacher. The enitre class is nothing but a discussion between all memebers. It's awesome to be able to hear your classmates' opinions and point of view on literature. The work can sometimes be daunting with a lot to read, but over all a very rewarding course.

Drew is pretty cool. I'm about halfway through his class and really enjoy his teaching style. The only this I don't like is that he is inconsistent in grading. What's an A for some one might be a B for someone else. Other than that I like him. Lots of energy and humor, thats for sure.

Drew is a great teacher! We only had three papers and we worked on them each week to improve them. We also did a journal every week, but the too are simple. There was no examine if you were there for every class!

2nd time i've had Drew- Love him! He really is a great teacher! Lots of energy and makes it fun. This Lit class was great- not like other boring ones. You must take him- whether it be Eng comp or lit! He's fantastic!

Never in a million years expected what I heard. Read this site to find the best and most easy teacher. AMAZING! No useless english teaching crap here. This class is the place to excell and to feel challenged, but easy and stress free. BEST ENGLISH PROFESSOR!

Probably the best Professor at Delta. Trys really hard to explain things to do. Helps you in every way possible. No Busy work, just work that will help you do well in the class and future classes. Have had him every semester! Drew is the Man! If you take his class and don't do well and like it... i dont know what to tell you.

Okay, Drew made me fall in love with Shakespeare. He is so much fun and the class's conversations were awesome. He got everyone into it and made it really fun.

Drew was very straight forward and helpful. The topic of WWII and the Holocaust were of great interest to him and it showed in his enthusiasm in teaching the course. I would recommend Drew to anyone taking an English class.

Drew is an amazing teacher. He is very motivated to get his students excited, and you can tell he LOVES teaching. Any student would be lucky to have his class!

Drew is a little out there... but very understanding... pay attention in class and you will be fine... i would reccomend him..( If you can get in a learning community with him and another teacher its great..)

Excellent, very understanding teacher. I would write a lot privately before this class, but Drew helped me refine my writing process, make it easier and even more fun than before. He's funny and teaches different writing methods, not 1-size-fits-all. Improved my writing confidence, and I'm taking another of his courses. Highly recommend!

Drew Colenbrander is the absolute best teacher I have ever had. He's incredibly nice and classes are actually fun to go to. If you can get into his class, do it.

One of the best teachers I've had. He has a laid back personality and teaching style; he knows how to get lots of good class discussion going; and he is a highly effective motivator and encourager. Can't say enough about Drew. I want to take every class he teaches whether I need it or not because I've learned so much in this one.

THE BEST ENGLISH TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD!! No joke! He takes away all the rules and barriers involved with most writing courses and lets you be you. I can't say enough about Drew. If your debating about taking his class, stop, and just take it. You won't be sorry! Take it from a GUY that didn't even like writing before this class!

Drew is the best of the very best. He is very open-minded and makes you feel comfortable in his class. Plus, he is always willing to help you no matter what process of writing you're at, whether its your final draft or your discovery draft. I wish I was still at Delta so I could takes one of his classes again!

Great instructor! Allows you to be creative and your own person. Doesn't push you to agree with him. Very easy going, makes class fun and is INTERESTING! I would definitely recommend him.

This is the second time I've had Drew as my instructor. He once again proved to me that he's the best teacher at Delta: the most informative, kind, and helpful in my experience. He is very knowledgeable about the things he teaches. He encourages creative and critical thinking and isn't a very hard grader if you apply yourself. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!

Drew puts students before himself 100%. He had no obligation to go above and beyond in order to help me, but he did. I learned so much from him, and will be forever fortunate for all that he helped me accomplish in an out of class!

Tonight was my first night in his class and I was excited before the class because of his reviews and even more excited to go back. I think that this will be a great semester and something I'm going to enjoy.

Drew is a very good teacher. I took this class on line. As long as you do your homework as assigned, the class is a breeze. The majority of the class consits of writing papers, but they relate to your interests and don't involve research. This is the best English teacher I have had. Highly recommended.

Drew was a great teacher! He always made class fun and interesting! There was a lot of group discussions and the papers we had to write were actually enjoyable! There was no exam. He always shares stories and is hilarious! As long as you do all the homework and put effort towards the papers, you should get an easy A. If you can TAKE HIM!!!

I have always hated writing until I started Drew's class. Makes writing seem like a much easier and fun thing to do than ever before. Even though lectures can be long at times, we all love him for the things we've learned and how he treats us. Even though you are working on your journals or paper every week, it becomes second nature. Take him!!!!

I have to say that I was very nervous about taking an online course. This was a great experience! If there was any confusion with an assignment, he was there to answer any questions. I would highly recommend taking him! I never knew that I enjoyed writing as much as I did. It helped that we were able to write about our own life experiences.

I never thought I would be good at writing until this class. Even online I could tell he has an amazing personality & truly cares about his students. He definitely made me more confident in my writing & the topics were actually very useful. There were only three papers & they were all handed in drafts so the for the final you knew what to fix.

After 25 years of being away from a college classroom and forty years from being there the first time, let along taking a class on-line, I was very leery of starting over. Drew put all my fears to rest. He answered all questions and gave great feedback! Thank you!!

Drew made this class very easy to pass. We wrote three papers total, with smaller assignments in between. His feedback was really clear and helpful. I never had any problems with him at all.

Drew was an AWESOME teacher! I have 0 complaints, he was so helpful and nice! I loved this class, 3 essays, and discussions over Nickel and Dimed. Easy A! Even online Drew was incredibly warm and helpful!

Drew is an excellent teacher. He truly cares about your writing, and wants to help make you a writer that could be published. Drew makes the class very easy to pass and get an A. He feels writing cannot be formulaic and simply graded, and cares more about improving your skills than he does about a grade (although it us very easy to get an A).

This class is part of a learning community with History 111HW. Drew saves the day for the class time. He is a very easy grader, and wants you to be a very good writer. In 112, he puts a little more emphasis on grading than he did in 111, but he is still just as helpful and easy. Probably one of the best and kindest teachers at Delta.

Drew is an excellent professor. ENG111H is a fun class and is an easy A. The papers were fun topics and easy to write. The book was interesting and the journals took 10 minutes tops. He gives excellent feedback and believes that grades should be based on progress not on grammar and content. Be prepared to participate and to read papers.

No games, straight to the the point. If papers were not exactly what he was looking for, he gave second chances to receive and A instead of a lower grade, flexible.

Andrew Colenbrander Is a fantastic teacher with a love for history and class discussion. Depending on what class you take with him you may end up reading quite a bit. I took a History of the World Wars class and it was a rather reading heavy class. Instead of a text book we were assigned to read "Hiroshima" and "All Quiet On The Western Front".

Drew is an excellent instructor. He is a very easy grader, but he does assign a fair amount of busy work. His main focus is on the big projects and the little things are supposed to help you to complete your big projects. He is a little longwinded, but he really wants you to learn.

One of the easiest classes I've taken. You'd be dumb not to take this professor if you have the choice.

I took Drew for Honors Colloquy. He is a great professor that gets you thinking. You will get an A if you do all your work and put in your best effort. Its a fun class. I definitely recommend him!
