Awsome techer very funny
do not take this professor unless you are a genious or are willing to teach your self chemisty. chapter one all failed, chapter two 3 people past. we started with 25 students and ended up with 7 then 6 because i finally dropped too, lol
The best and clear chemistry tests I've ever had. If you want an easy grade-DO NOT take him. Take him if you want to work hard and learn chemistry. Fun and friendly atmosphere. Really enjoyed his class.:)
Dr. Frazer tries to dress nicely, but we all know that he gets his clothes from the black market. He rules!
If you are a serious student...DONT TAKE HIM...HE IS LATE EVERYDAY!!! And he loves suck ups... His ACCENT is IMPOSSIBLE to understand!!! So unless you want to teach yourself CHEM...DONT TAKE HIM!! He is a jerk!
Frazier seems very intelligent, but unable to pass it on to his students. He is VERY unclear when teaching and complains if you ask him to repeat himself or slow down. Tests multiple choice. In this class, you'll teach yourself chem.

Don't let Dr. Frazer's attention span fool you. He is very willing to help, but has little tolerance for ignorant and lazy students. You definitely must show up prepared. Has plenty of interesting anecdotes...

He is hard to understand. Very knowledgable, but cant teach it to ya. His lectures and notes really, I mean really, suck. Probably the worst teacher I have ever had. He likes to flirt so watch out unless you can use his flirtatiousness to your advantage.
Always late, very funny, knows his stuff. Yeah during class he wont really answer questions but is very helpful; just see him in his office. tests are not very easy and you HAVE to do the homework to have better understanding.

He's a really cool guy and really knows his chem, but isn't very good at teaching it to you. He expects you to already know everything and if you don't he says you shouldn't be in his class. That's funny, because I thought I was there to learn chem. I had to drop the class.
Very knowledgeable but his teachings are a bit unclear. Quizzes/tests are based on the book exercises. Very funny and entertaining professor! Very flirtatious with the girls. This dude is from England & is extremely charming.
Yes he is a nice guy and hes funny but thats not going to get u the grade you want...hes very unorganized and his tests are never finished...dont go into this class thinking you can just get by because it wont happen...he is willing to help but at the same time makes his tests almost impossible
A Very cool Proffesor, The Class is hard but if you learn the material he will be very happy. He is sometimes late to class but never more than 15 minutes, He will help you with any question you have but it will have to be after class (not during class). Also, he likes to say the word "OE".

Bad teacher. Never on time, leaves class for coffee, we where never on schedule, we where a month behind, test are like an hour of hell, if you study for the test and you do your homework you still wont end up with the grade that you wanted or you deserve.He always says "got the idea?"
Professor sucks. he does care about soccer than anything else. This particular professor is the one who always came late 5 to 10 minutes. The test are nothing like the book or the class. Even if you are his/her friend you have to do something really especial, so you can get a good grade with him.

Very smart professor, but he expects you to work. You can go by his office for extra help, and you get as much help as you need. By the way, some of the poor ratings are coming from lazy people who never come to class and have their headphones on when they do decide to show up.
It's Chemistry duh! It's supposed to be hard, he does teach rather quickly, but if you ask questions he will slow down. He wants as many people to pass his class as possible, but if you're not at the college level, you will fail. If you have some foundation, you will do just fine.

Then if I had my headphones on then explain to me why I got in A in organic with Fowler and I was failing miserably with Frazier. I had no clue what this man was expecting from me. Plain and simple, he truly is a horrible teacher and should be fired.

Good professor. Took him, got A, got 99 in PCAT, got into pharmacy school without any problem. Guys, you just have to work hard at home and you will get your A's. You need a translator to understand his Cockney accent. His notes on reagents do not correlate with what the text book has. He disappears for long periods of time during lab. He's always late for class & lab. He likes to degrade students.
Will take time to help you if you want to help your self! A little unorganized but will really teach you CHEM. No room for slackers in his class or he will lose you in a heartbeat. MUST do ALL of H.W. or else you will think he is speaking greek. You put in 110% and he will recipricate it back to help you learn.
Cursed in class often, stated that there was no God. Very unorthodox and downright strange. He could not follow the book or his own syllabus and jumped around quite a bit. His tests are random acts of confusion; they often contain questions from past and FUTURE chapters. He is constantly flirting with his female students which makes you wonder....

This class is a waste of time. His class is a TEACH YOURSELF course so you might as well sign up for a online course and save yourself some money in gas. I got an A thanks to my own effort. I don't recomend him to anyone with no/little knowledge on chemestry

He is used to people not taking the class seriously. Study more than you would expect to and you will be ok. His teaching style def takes some getting used to, but he is actually extreemly intelligent and willing to help if you ask. Students have problems because they are stuck in high school mode. Teaches on a 4 yr. college level. Be prepared.

This professor is TERRIBLE!Curses, unhelpful, not claer, ????! I never knew what to expect or how to prepare for class because he's so unclear. You may have to take him, there aren't a lot of choices. I advice you to constantly read the book, DO the exercises, and talk to him even if he gets upset. He doesn't like to answer Q's but its your Grade!
1st of all its chemistry!!!!its not easy. If you study your a** off and do all the work he assigns and ask real questions not lazy ones you will do fine. Show him you are serious about his class and he will meet you half way. One thing this man knows his s**t about chem....trust me. Just make a real effort and you will be fine.

He is no good, He would dance around important concetps to understand the marterial, and when you ask him to clairfy he cant! I had to take oraganic with Fowler again and Have all A's..and I got in to pharm school with no problemo!
He's awful! Shows up late to class/at least 15mins.every class time. Showed up 20mins late for a test,took 5mins to pass out test and then called for all test to be turned in 5mins early.- We lost 30mins of valuable time because of him & this was on a regular day not a lab day with extended time. He sux! Dropped that class to save my GPA.

he is very helpful. maybe not in class when he is trying to teach. but if you have questions, go to his office, he always helps u. can't be lazy in his class though. it's not easy. but he is smart & try to push your limit. it's better that way to built up a good foundation for chem.if u want to learn, not just get a easy greade, u ll love him.
ok, I dunno about these lazy bums, but Dr. Frazer is one of the most brilliant professors at VCC. He is by far my favorite professor, just don't be lazy and you'll do fine. I truly enjoyed this class and would take him anytime...**sigh** if only he taught pre-law too! TAKE HIM TO LEARN!

Definitely the best chem professor at VCC. His classes can be kind of confusing but he is very helpful during office hours. IF you read the chapters before class and do the assigned problems, there is no reason why you shouldn't get an A or B. DON'T BE LAZY and you'll get on his good side.
If you read before coming to class, you wont be lost. He tends to jump around and expects you to have a good idea of the given material. He makes class pretty interesting and is helpful when u show him that u are trying. an A is very possible if u keep up with the work
He is by far the best chemistry teacher at Valencia. he needs to teach educated level because his chemistry knowledge is far more than just these courses . If you just want to get through chemistry, he would be the one I recommend, his tests are pretty complicated

He's extremely HARD if you DO show up and study! He calls people names and makes the girls cry. His exams are beyond hard--they are impossible. There HAS to be better Organic teachers than this, so find them!
The best CHM professor at Valencia! IF you want to learn, do the work, and he'll turn you into a substantial student-chemist or a star as he refers to his best students. I was an A student and I was motivated by his knowledge and his pushing me to do my best..*Tests are bloody unconventional yet 100s are possible when you know your stuff*
Organic Chemistry 2 is hard. It's meant to weed people out. Dr. Frazer teaches the subject at an appropriate level. He's a lot of fun but don't slack off in his class. It's not an easy grade. He's fond of telling people "If you don't know this, you're not supposed to be here". And if that's true, he'll make sure you go where you belong.
ORG I- By far the hardest class I have ever taken! It required alot of work on my part. You will feel dumb if ur not a strong chem student. Doesnt hold ur hand. But he is fair, Labs were not a big emphasis-Lab reports like none other. Test and quizzes like I never seen before, but I learn chem better than I ever have with previous instructors.
He is Rude! He has favorites... if he doesn't like u, he will pick on u and embarass you. He is not as fair as people say ...he sat during a test and helped the students he likes with a question n left the ones he doesn't like to struggle. He doesn't stick to the schedule and is strict on attendence..he teaches good but he is extremely rude!!
Dr. Andy Frazer has got to be the worst teacher I have ever had in my life and probable the worst teacher I will ever have. If you want to learn in this class please don't take him. His class is for people taking Organic over again or already has prior knowledge about the class. His test are unbelievable, and he has no respect for students at all.
He is really not an easy teacher.To pass his class you need to study for hours and try the best you can. The handouts he gives help sometimes,specially the exercices at the end.He explains very well but he is really unorganized.He is a great teacher but he is at the same time horrible. Extremely hard teacher. Test are very short and hard 1 question can be worth as much as 40pts!! I wouldnt recommend taking him. I along w/my class mates read the book fowards and backwards and did the problems on the back of the book. And still did poorly. Simply b/c how much 1 question can be worth and he dosnt explain well. You've been warned.
Hard hard hard!!! You can study all you want but if you miss 1 of the big questions you are screwed, some questions are worth as much as 40pts, others are 20,30points. Only the easy problems are worth 2,4 or 10pts everything else you better get right. Test are short, 8 to 10 questions but extremely HARD! The way he teaches it's a Self taught course
one of d most interesting subjects i've had.I think it's funny how people are blaming the professors when they fail. hard class & hard prof. quizzes long,test short both very difficult. self study class, he expects u to read chapters b4 class, labs were a waste of time, nothing was set up-he does also skip lab and just lecture for 3 hrs. do problems in book and on lecture notes-some ?'s end up on tests. only good thing-he gives a WP if ur failing his class.

Self-taught class, lectures are useless, you have to read the book on your own. His exams are very tough, pulls from a test bank from other VCC teachers so some questions arent even about what you went over. never gives advice as to whats gonna be on an exam, very offensive to students sometimes. told some of us to drop the class for our own good.
Basically if you do not have a phD in Chemistry, then there is no hope to get an A. If you put 2+ hours a day and get on his good side by acting like to you like euro soccer then you have a 50/50 chance of getting a C-. It will be the hardest C you have ever earned. EVER.
If you take him for Org I you better take Org. II with him again. He is kind of mean some times. Class is self-taught, his powerpoints might help. Lab grading is unfair BUT even if you get C's that will help you at the end. Dont drop if you think you've work hard HE'LL HELP YOU IF SHOW AN EFFORT!

Very hard professor, you must teach yourself if you expect to pass! his lectures have nothing to do with the test bcause he pulls them from some random bank. i am TERRIFIED of orgo 2! dont feel like im prepared at all! DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!
Great guy. If you ask me, he's a great teacher. Received an A for the class because I read the books and his guide. Learn 80% on your own and review the rest through him during lecture is an advice I want to give you. Great class and great teacher. The only downside is that some labs are not completed :-[ Good Luck!
In order to do well in this class you have to be an independent learner - do questions in the book ahead of time and come in prepared to ask a lot of them.
Lectures are scattered and difficult to follow. Slides he says he will provide often come later than he states. His tests are not as difficult as other professor's though. This is Orgo, you will need to self-teach quite a bit regardless of who you have. His final can replace a test grade and he curves at the end of the year, an A is doable
His lectures were not helpful. You mostly do everything on your own. The class grade is based only on the exams. His format for the exams is horrible, and they are extremely long. Would not take again.
