This is my second time taking online class and he is the best. He made the class really smooth and he post it videos to comprehend more the subjects, I loved this class and the scenarios take this class with this professor if you fail is because you dont work.

Case studies are interesting, put in the effort into reading the textbook and applying that knowledge to your discussions and that will reflect on your grade.

Easy work, you just have to make sure to read the chapters in the textbook and be able to put in your own thoughts .

Gives you second chances if you turn in an incomplete assignment.

The writing in this class helped me improved my writing skills. The Professor was not a stickler on grammar, he just wanted to know if you knew what you had read about. Great professor that I high recommend for ethics. He is a true Ethics professional that teaches different levels of ethics and different campuses!

I took Professor Hill for Flex 1 Intro to Ethics this morning and it was a great class. He is a great professor and even though we arent physically in class he provides daily small lectures as we were meeting him. If you stay on top of discussions and read the textbook you will be golden and pass the class!

It was an online summer course (5week) went by fast but he gave enough time to submit the assignment. Must have the textbook in order to understand assignments and be prepared to read. The reading out of the textbook was very interesting and tied in with the case studies. Overall GREAT profeessor & I highly reommend.

The class isn't hard. You just have to read the chapters. They're easy reads and the concepts are relatively easy to comprehend. Take him! I loved this online course, all you have to do is read a short case study and give your own opinion and applying some ethics from the book. There's no right or wrong answer as long as you participate. The whole semester is based on just discussions and the final is an essay. I have a 100%

I definitely recommend this Professor! The class is very easy and interesting! Participation matters a lot and by that is you have to participate in the discussions in order to pass! The grading on the discussion is more than fair! You just have to make sure you incorporate the material from the textbook!

The topics discussed were studying cases of mutual morality in society and was inspiring in choosing questions

Took him for Ethics Summer I online. The class was discussions and then a final exam. Case studies were very interesting. Yes, you have to read the book and apply it in the case studies, but very easy to read and understand. Prof. Hill also would post videos on YouTube multiple times a week that were SO helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Do the assignments, follow the instructions and you will pass. Simple , straight forward, and to the point. Posted online videos every few days since it was an online class and you don't go to class. Getting a response to email sometimes took a bit but over all great professor.

I had to take this course for pre req for nursing application. I was glad to have chosen this teacher. Yes you need the book and yes you need to read! Took Professor Hill for Summer I online. I was nervous at first, but passed with an A. He emails back in a timely manner, and is there to help you. You NEED the book. Read the material, do your mini essays, and try not to get behind. The five weeks go by fast with two discussions per week. Overall, easy A if you do the work.

Professor Hill made taking an online course a personable experience. He was helpful in reminding of assignment due dates and made sure they were easy to understand. It was a lot of writing (online), but he gave topics that were easy to be passionate about, so the writing came easily.

This class was very easy. Well..... Only if you know what you are doing a book is required to learn but it is real interesting and easy. It is not a stressful class. It is actually really peaceful and just plain good.

If you can take this as an online and/or flex class, DO IT. This class entails taking terms from a chapter and using those and your own moral thinking to respond to different case studies. Youll do that every 1-2 weeks. Work load isnt bad at all. Just make sure to input your response before replying to other classmates responses. Super nice guy!

Prof Hill is Amazing! 1 discussion every 10 days or so (total 7). No midterm. Great online class to take especially when you have a full schedule. As long as you submit your short essay and reply to 2 people theres no way you wont get an A. Hes super sweet too and his YouTube videos are cute. Wish I could have met him in person.

He is a great professor, very easy to get in touch with. He is clear on assignments and even used You-tube to make videos over our class throughout the semester which helps on some difficult case studies.

The topics are discussed in class and also the video examples he uses provide some interesting outlooks. The way he discusses the topics in class is pretty open and helps to understand the subject. For tests basically pick a discussion and support it clearly and you'll get a good grade.

Prof. Hill brings real life cases to his students to discuss about. He helps us understand Ethics in a way I never knew it applied. He makes learning fun. We do have small group discussions whenever presented with a new case. I enjoyed his class so much, I always shared the different cases with family at home.

I took this class in MayMester. Great teacher and can really make the class relate to the world around you and how life is in the world we live in. If you are shocked as to what is on an exam it's your own fault. He wants you to succeed in his class and gives you all the valuable information needed for the course work and also the tests.

Took Professor Hill for Ethics, online and during maymester. The class was so easy, just read the chapters and participate in the discussions(your response, and then comment on two others). Super easy A! wish every online class was like his.

My philosophy ethics course was taken as a Maymester class. This class is an easy A, as long as you participate in discussions. There are 2 discussions a week, in which youll read a short chapter for each and then comment with your moral/ethical OPINION. There are also very interesting moral situations and stories, so its easy to be engaged.

Professor Hill was great. All you have to do is write the essays and participate in the the discussions. He is fair and involved. This was a short 3 wk summer class, so it was already very condensed but it wasnt difficult. You just had 2 short essays per week to upload in the discussion board and then had to reply to 2 of your classmates comments

I took Professor Hill for my Maymester class and would recommend him to anyone who needs to complete this class. He uploaded a video every day updating us on what assignments were coming up. He is very flexible and accepts late work. I would recommend him to anyone who has a full schedule like I do. Would definitely take him again if he taught more

Mr. Hill is EXCELLENT. I took this class online but he made it feel like I was in class with him. He made a youtube channel where he posted videos that explained case studies & some of the reading. He explains exactly what he wants, he's quick to respond if needed and he'll even touch base with you just to check up on your progress. Great Choice!

I took this class for flex 1 in the summer. 5 weeks does go by very quick. But as long as you do the work and discussions then you will pass with a easy A. I ended with a 98. Discussions are done 2-3 weekly. But great teacher. Would definitely take him again.

I absolutely adore Professor Hill's class. I went in knowing nothing about philosophy and honestly, I was scared I would never understand it. Professor Hill is there to help you through anything, he is very kind and understanding. You will have to write an essay per chapter, but it is so simple. The final is an open book and again simple. If you are wanting to take ethics and get it over the way, I did this class over the summer it went by so fast, it's a little challenging because you have to write little essays but he'll let you know exactly what he needs, he's a good and nice teacher very caring so I would definitely take him again :)

I took Professor Hill online for the 5-week summer class & it was great! All you have to do is a discussion twice a week. The discussion questions are over a case usually asking your thoughts on it. You need the book because within your answer, you must reflect your thinking to a specific chapter. He does YouTube lectures for clarity!

Prof. Hill is nice, and I took this online. He only posted 5 total assignments for us, which were all discussions (may have been due to COVID) No exams, either. He leaves 2 weeks in between discussions for reading chapters that can be 100+ pages long. Easy A if you include concepts from the book into your writing.

Professor Hill was very involved in class, and was very helpful with comparing what we were learning to real life. This helped me understand better, and kept the class connected. He does pay attention to attendance but after class meetings they were so interesting you wouldn't want to miss! Very good teacher.

This was by FAR the most simple and straight-forward class I've ever taken so far. I did the course online and I only had to type about 2-3 paragraphs every 2 weeks. There was no final just another regular discussion. I would highly recommend taking it as an online course. As a professor he is very easy to reach and super helpful.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Prof. Hill. He is a phenomenal professor with some pretty fascinating lectures and discussions. If you do your work on time and follow instructions, you will succeed in his class.

I took Professor Hill's online class while abroad. It was great that he sends his lectures out like clockwork because he makes some insightful points on his lectures that help you develop the ideas for your paper. To get the best grade possible, write your papers in MLA format and develop your ideas. Chapter reading was lengthy but worthwhile.

Professor Hill gave very good lectures. This was a fully online Maymester class. It was fast and condensed but doable. As long as you read, follow directions and participate in the discussions you should do well. He was always available and answers emails in a timely matter. Prof. Hill was a gem! Participation matters in all discussions. If you happen to get into personal issues that is out of your control, i.e. sickness, he will work with you. His curriculum is relaxed, which I did not expect for a Philosophy class. There's quite a bit of reading involved but this class will open your perception.

Prof. Hill was by far the EASIEST professor ever. You just have one simple discussion per week, and the final exam is posted all semester. It's really all at your pace. His grading is also super lenient as well.

Great Professor! Even though it was an online class he was still very engaging. He explained and broke down the information so that it was more understandable and to where it could be more relatable. He also made sure to be available (by many different forms of communication) for anyone that needed help or had questions.

Be prepared to read but as long as you follow his instructions, you will do great. I promise you won't regret taking his course. I really enjoyed this online course. Professor Hill is always willing to help and has a very welcoming attitude in his class. He was very professional with using youtube videos to explain key concepts to the class as a whole. I would definitely take his class again. He uses real-life events to analyze our moral opinions backed up by the books.

Very easy class, consisting only of discussions where you have to incorporate material from the textbook. Since this class focuses on applied ethics, you just have to analyze peculiar case studies. The case studies provided were great and really force you to analyze your own morality and beliefs.

Professor Hill is a very good teacher than I would highly recommend. His lecture videos were online, being that this was a maymester course, but were through YouTube which made the easy to access. He keeps you intrigue throughout his videos and also gives his own thoughts. The assignments were short quick essays over each case given.

Gives instruction on what's expected on the assignments and gives detailed feedback on what's missing or can be worked on before the next assignment is due.

Took this course during the Summer I. It was an online class so most of it was read a chapter or two then write an essay. Surprisingly the class was so much more interesting than I thought. It helped that there was a new video for the class posted almost every day even on weekends.Grading was clear and straightforward. Highly recommend taking.

Professor Hill made my return to college nit stressful. He was very entertaining yet knowledgeable of his context. His class was easy and he encouraged us to be truthful when submitting our discussions and responses.

Professor Hill is a great teacher. I took as a Summer 1 class which is five weeks. You have to read a chapter each week which they are not long. You also have to do an essay on a case study each week. He doesn't grade too hard on the essays as long as you apply the concepts from the chapter and explain YOUR OWN MORAL JUGDEMENT.

I liked that the professor was able to upload daily videos like if we were in a physical class instead of online learning.

His summer PHIL-2306 class was very manageable to take during the Maymester term, if you're looking to take it for credit. Overall great professor who is very clear in his grading criteria, and assigned readings that were genuinely interesting and enjoyable, as someone who doesn't like reading textbooks.

I took a summer ethics course. It was very easy. 2 readings/discussion posts a week. The final was about 30 questions and an essay. I definitely recommend Professor Hill if you need to take this course. I even searched through RMP before taking this class to make sure I got the best professor and he did not disappoint!!

The only work assigned was discussion boards which involved personal opinion, so as long as you contributed (and added something from the chapter) you'd get a 100. The final was SUPER easy - a matching set and an essay. Prof seemed very kind and willing to help.

I had the pleasure of taking Professors Hills Ethics class summer of 2024. The modules were very well organized, and he even had videos uploaded to his YouTube channel for us to watch at our convenience as well as providing answers to some of our questions. He was fair on the grading and didn't overwhelm us with assignments. Definitely an easy A.

I took a 5 week course from him and it was relatively self-explanitory. He does require you to read the designated chapter for that week and he would present a case study at the end of the week for you to respond and apply the knowledge you learned from the chapter. Other than that, pretty easy class.

The professor is polite and respectful. If you listen, he can really help you see things in different, more interesting ways. He does talk a lot, but it's not droning. He is actually passionate about what he teaches, not just repeating a script. He is understanding of students who have jobs and offers options to those students. He's pretty cool.

Some good abilities is that the professor would share his own personal thoughts on a topic letting us know it's okay to have different opinions on things from the outside world.
