Dr. I is the BEST professor I've had in a science class. He truly loves teaching this material and it shows. He cares about his students and their success in his class. He makes you work for your grade. I'm leaving his class confident in understanding biology. His grading system is fair. VERY accessible outside of class via email. I would 10/10 rec

Best professor at this school. Somehow managed to keep lectures over 2 hours long interesting and enthusiastic. This guy really knows his stuff. Curves (well not exactly a curve, he'll explain his methods to you) his tests, which is amazing. I HATED bio in high school, yet his class was the only one I had this semester that I looked forward to.

I see a lot of people put him down because he goes fast but honestly this is college. He isn't easy but that's good. He teaches you. If you are unable to improve and learn, you will not pass but honestly, it isn't as hard as it looks the first day. He is more alike with university professors rather than community college professors, I've had both.

I was not looking forward taking to Bio 1 at all but Dr. Ippolito surprised me with his enthusiastic lectures. I really looked forward to his class and he helped me do better than I had even imagined. I'm not a bio major but I would take bio with Dr Ippolito 100 more times if I could. PLEASE TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN. work with him and you will do good!

It was a lot because it was a summer biology course, but Dr. I did an incredible job teaching us and making sure we understood the material through visuals and his lectures. Not a boring class! Accessible outside of class and also very dedicated to the success of his students. There are quizzes every class on the previous days material. Take him!!

Took him for summer, knowing that it was going to be hard; however, he made it an amazing class. You have to work for your grade. He explains everything, that you are confused about. You will be able to tell that he loves teaching and is really passionate about Bio. Take him if you can!!!

Professor I was one of the hardest professors I have ever had, but he is also one of the best. Very attentive and will help you out if you ask as much as he can. His tests are amazing and he curves them very fairly. I would 100% recommend him to anyone taking biology! He makes class fun and keeps lectures interesting. Ive learned a lot! Hes great

Dr. Ippolito has to be one of the best professors Ive had at Bucks. This was in person until the pandemic pushed everything online. Even having online lectures he made it incredibly comfortable (online classes were never a strong suite for me). He does do quizzes almost every class, but it helps immensely with understanding the material.

he was really funny if you can handle a LOT of dad jokes. super accommodating and understanding...I had him during half in person and half online because of quarantine and it was clear the effort he put into really getting the information across to everyone. super in depth lectures and quizzes almost everyday but are super easy if you pay attention

willing to teach and be ready to learn and study. he teaches his students like they are intelligent college students does not dumb down the material. ask questions and STUDY. If you do not have the time to dedicate to this class material I would not take the class, you will not succeed trying to skate on by.

Dr. Ippolito is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He teaches at a high level, so be prepared to listen and study. However, his enthusiasm and efforts to help his students makes the class all worth it.

Dr. Ippolito was easily the best professor I have had at Bucks so far. I took biology classes in the past but never really got a grasp of the material. With Dr. I, I was able to fully understand biology. His lectures were brought to life by his personality. As long as you put some effort, he will try his best to help you succeed!

Dr. Ippolito is by far the best professor Ive had at Bucks. He is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely wants his students to succeed. You will have to put in a lot of time outside of class, but it is definitely worth it. He is very generous in his grading and gives you any extra help if necessary. Dr. I cares about his students and responds quickly to questions outside of class. Great lecturer even on Zoom. He knows how to use technology to maximize the online experience. His tests are challenging, but if you understand the material, they are very doable. I hadn't taken a science class in years, and his class made me like science again!

He is the most Chill Professor I've ever had. He gives you so many chances to make up anything you have and he's very understanding. I would for sure take another class with him.

Dr. Ippolito is an enthusiastic professor who really teaches you science as a scientist. He always talks about modern research and how science actually works. His lectures are also funny but do teach you a lot. His tests are hard though, and his quizzes can be as well. He does curve on the tests. If you put in the effort you should get an A.

Professor Ippolito's lectures were very informative. Also, he provided word documents and PowerPoint presentations which greatly helped in preparing for the exams.

Dr.I is literally the best teacher i've ever had. yes bio is hard but he tries to make it easy and help you as much as he can throughout the semester. he is not a tough grader, he will also understand if you're late to class os don't come to class, and will work with you. i highly recommend ent this teacher for BIO.121

Dr. Ippolito is one of the nicest professors I've ever had! He is really understanding of how hard tests are, so he adds points back! He met with me and a few other students the night before a test for almost two hours. Ippolito cares a lot for his students and it really shows. I'm taking him again for micro because he's that nice. He will help you

Microbiology is not an easy class and you definitely need to spend a good amount of time with the material in order to understand it but Dr I always made himself available outside of class and genuinely cares you learn the material. You learn a lot in the class which can be overwhelming but there are worksheets provided to help guide you through it

Dr. I is the best ! He genuinely wants you to succeed. He goes out his way to help his students. You have to do your work though and show that you are trying. I wasn't even supposed to have him as my teacher but I am glad that I ended up with him. He has waitlists for his classes for a reason!!

Dr. I definitely knew what he was teaching. He definitely wants you to pass and will definitely work with you.

Dr. I is the best professor I've ever had in my life. He is very helpful in the class as well as outside the class. Dr. I has a great knowledge of Biology and Microbiology, and he will teach you until you understand the topic. He won't give up on his students.

He's like unworldly intelligent and extremely knowledgeable of biology, so sometimes his lectures and explanations aren't always easy to follow. Lots of material is covered and expected to be learned outside of class. Approachable, but difficult to ask questions to because he is unfortunately nearly deaf. Quizzes almost every class. Decent jokes.

This is the second time taking Dr. I's classes. First for Biology, now for Microbiology. Dr. I is an absolute gem of a professor. He does whatever he can to ensure his students are learning. Lots of quizzes, however, the quizzes are one of the best tools to make sure you're learning the material. One of the best STEM professors at Bucks hands down!

DR. I is an excellent prof. He loves what he does, and it shows! You have to study and pay attention to pass this class. Lots of work, but it's to ensure your success in this class. Tests are intense, and lots of quizzes, but again, quizzes help you out in the long run. He also is VERY FAIR curves test grades if most students get ques wrong.

Dr. I is the best professor. The class is hard af but Dr. I makes it 100 times better. There are frequent quizzes that teach you to always be prepared. The tests are definitely the most difficult part of the class but don't worry because there are also "curves". There is also a lot of homework but the deadlines are flexible. Definitely choose Dr.I.

I know, I know, I failed his course but trust me---this was a "it's not you, it's me" situation. I failed BIOL121 is my own damn fault and not his own. Dr. I is the best professor I've ever taken. He's genuinely smart, incredibly so, and a great professor. Please, please take his course if you can. You can never regret it. I promise. Miss ya, Prof.

Dr. I is my favorite prof so far at BCCC. I always enjoyed coming to class- lectures were fun, engaging, & challenging. Dr. I used various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, is very understanding of his students' schedules, & made it clear what we should expect & know for quizzes/exams. Tests are hard... so be sure to study!

This class is extremely hard and I do have to retake it. It is clear he loves what he does and he's very intelligent. Dr. I is really accommodating and very caring. If you're struggling speak to him! He is 100% there for you.

If you like crying and having a lot stress I recommend taking this class in the summer . In all seriousness he is a great teacher n goes through what we need to know thoroughly and truly cares about his students. Dont be afraid to ask questions and do all of the homework assignments as well the unassigned worksheets he provides, n u will do well

Dr. I is a great biology teacher, he is one of the few actually very accessible outside of class and passionate about his students understanding the material. The material itself is challenging, he is flexible with due dates for assignments. I was struggling with a personal issue with my capabilities and Dr.I was very inspirational and supportive.

Dr. I is absolutely exceptional teacher. He is the most caring person. He explains and gives detailed information if there is something that you can't understand. There are recorded lectures available for you, lots of materials provided so you can practice. Thank you Dr. I for being always next to the students.

Dr. I will give you extra credit for the quizzes and exams. You will get A with the premise of studying very hard. Otherwise, the tiny extra credit is not enough to boost your grade to A.

Dr. I is an amazing professor! I agree that the exams are difficult, but Dr. I takes the time to explain and go through all of the material(youtube lecture if needed). He is very accessible outside of class! I highly recommend you take his class! If you do, ditch the book and focus on his lectures! Remember, micro is a hard class to begin with!

If you study hard enough you will be fine. Participate a lot too. I studied the textbook and live lectures and this is what helped me the most. He cares about his students and you can go into office hours if needed.

Professor is very kind and accessible out of class. Understands that material is difficult and gladly helps anyone willing to reach out. Gives many opportunities to better yourself and pointers on how to improve. He opens all exams/quizzes afterwards to review and discuss any questions. If you're willing to put in consistent effort, you will pass.

Dr I was WONDERFUL! Take notes early on recorded lectures and textbook! Be patient with yourself and don't be a horseshoe crab! Dr. I is willing to help and wants you to succeed. The tests may be difficult, but they're constructed to make you think critically. VERY understanding; grades are adjusted and fair. Awesome start to my college career :)

I really enjoyed Dr. I. He is super nice and fair. His lectures are interesting, he can be a bit scattered, but if you pay attention It will all make sense in the end. Tests were hard! If you study and put in the time learning the material, you will do alright. I definitely had to change the way I studied. Consequently I developed some new habits.

Dr. I is a great teacher that really cares about his students. He is a bit drawn out explaining things but besides that his lectures are good and he is open to students asking questions. The class is challenging but Dr. I is great for biological principles

Dr. I is a terrific professor. He genuinely cares about the success and well-being of his students. Advice- Consult his study guide which tells you what topics to focus on for each unit, outline the chapters from the textbook, watch all recorded lectures and take notes as if you were actually attending that lecture, and you will succeed.

Dr. I was an amazing professor. Be prepared to study a lot, there is a lot of information pertaining to this class. His lectures are detailed and if he misses something in class he has online recorded lectures. He explains things well and can often times make things understandable with simple analogies. Great class overall and totally recommend!

Dr. I was beyond amazing. His exams were difficult but with the proper studying and the curves he gives you should be fine! I bothered him with countless emails with questions but he was happy to help. I took microbiology as an accelerated summer course and it was very time consuming but worth it. Dr. I will go above and beyond for his students!!

Dr. Ippolito is nothing but the best for this course, he's caring and really takes his time to look out for the students. Yes, his tests are super hard and I definitely struggled but that was since it was a 6-week course instead of your typical full semester. Just make sure you really study and work hard... he will notice and you'll be rewarded.

Loved Dr I! While majors biology isn't easy Dr I really cares about students. Really engaging lectures. Needs a lot of studying, I worked 12+ hours a week for this class, reading the textbook is a must. Don't be a horseshoe crab and get ready to step it up to get a good grade. Tests are a killer but he adds points after. Would take him again 100%

Absolutely a 100/10 Professor. I took 2 classes from him and did great in both. He is super caring and understanding which all teachers should do. The material is hard but he tries his best to teach it well. The exams aren't always perfect but he will always go over the exam and take out the unfair questions. If you do bad, maybe bio isn't for you

He provides study guides, worksheets, and online lectures outside of the classroom to further your understanding. I would recommend doing the worksheets while listening to the online lectures, and then fill out the study guides leading up to the exams. Tests are critical thinking based so make sure you overlearn the material.

Dr. Ippolito really teaches you how to study science. Keeping up with material is super important in this class to do well. He gives small pop quizzes every couple classes which were helpful. My biggest issue with this class was the pearson homework. I often didn't find it helpful, and it just felt like hours of busy work I'd rather spend studying.

He's actually the best. Microbiology can be very hard to understand and difficult to enjoy, but he did a very good job of making class fun and getting students actually interested in what he was talking about. This class is requires a lot of time outside of the classroom with studying and reading but overall no complaints.

Do NOT take the accelerated version of this course if you're working like 30+ hours a week. It's rough and you'll most likely have to take time off work in order to actually do well. Other than that, pretty good and generous prof. Lots of work. The exams aren't too bad, just a lot of memorizing so make sure to have a good study method.

Intelligent, and extremely passionate with teaching students, making sure they understand his materials. He prioritizes his students and their performance, often asking how everything is working for them. Understands that students have their own problems. Always ready to give full attention to students. Don't slack off on schoolbooks.

Professor Ippolito is truly one of my favorite professors I've ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very caring. His exams are detailed, so I would highly advise reading the current chapter(s) prior class, and arrive with questions that he can help explain. It was hard definitely read everyday.Things that helped me; watch his videos on topics you do not understand. Use his slides reading the book can be a lot and you could miss information cause it's a lot. Do his practice questions and also use the end of chapter questions in the book they are great study questions. WRITE YOUR NOTES !!!!!

One of the best teachers, he genuinely wants everyone in the class to succeed. The course itself was heavy, but he can be easily reached via email and grades labs and homework assignments, so your overall grade is not just based off of the tests. He is very agreeable and has so many resources to use for studying. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!

Dr. I is VERY generous, fair & motivating. His accelerated 6-week summer course is material heavy/fast paced. He leaves a lot of room for credit- so do ALL the homework assignments! The tests are difficult- lots of time is required for studying. He gives lots of advice- use it! If you can dedicate your time to this class you will do great!

Has lots of online resources that help you on the tests. Half of his worksheets were helpful (you can fill in the blanks, useful for notetaking), other half unfortunately weren't completed yet. Study guides help you narrow down whats on the tests. Lectures were ok, not great, but his other resources make up for it. Was accelerated, manage ur time.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! He's actually so goated. Always motivates us, He's funny and really sweet.Has empathy for his students and always ready to help us no matter what.I love him so so so so much. Best professional ever! I would take every class he teaches.
