really easy,gives lots of bonuses and has neat stories

This is the only teacher I would recommend for the govt courses. He makes things make sense in real world situations, his lectures aren't boring, and he makes sure you are obscenely well-prepared for tests. You would have to put effort into failing his class.

I took him for both of my government classes and loved him. He cares and makes the class interesting if you show up. He gives extra credit and it is easy.

Jackson is the coolest govt teacher a student could dream of!! The review is exactly the test just arranged differently, doesn't care if you come to class, but when you do go he always tells interesting stories so its really not the bad attending!!!

This guy is great! I'm taking 21 hours this semester and this course is a joke with him. You can pick up reviews for the tests at the CLC which are basically the tests just re arranged! EASY EASY EASY!! He has a extra credit assignment that can take over your lowest test grade. Only 3 tests encluding final! Take him you wont regret it!

HE is Great! do the reviews that are in the clc and you will make an A in this class, you don't even have to go to class, but he does give extra credit.

Easy as pie. I would copy his review sheets from the Library and study those. Never cracked the book. I'd go to class and just get on my laptop and do other homework and listen to some of his stories. He's very nice.

Pretty interesting lectures, and gives a review out before the tests that has all the answers. Just do the review and listen in class and an A is guaranteed

This is the best class I have taken in 4 years. It is one that you can work full time and spend time with your family without having to read and study constantly. He makes the class fun and has many interesting stories. Both his TX and US Government classes cover about the same material in some ways and he will always relate his topics to real life

AWESOME!!!! He makes learning about not so intresting topics fun and exciting! Class was straight forward and simple. Just study the study guides and its an Easy A all the WAY!!!

this class is really an easy A. you don't really need to study much, i usually just read the review a few hours before test. I still go to class because Mr.Jackson gives concepts that are really worth thinking and I enjoyed it.

Great lectures every class. Not required to attend but very interesting. Easy A if you study. Helps in every way he can and you have the option to do a paper in lieu of test score. Very clear in what he expects and only 3 grades for the semester.

Lets you know up front what he expects. Just do it and you can get an A. Very knowledgeable worth the time to attend on campus v. online. He makes government interesting.

Great teacher!Very interesting, educates and makes you think. Do the reviews and you will do good on the tests. Mr. Jackson offers a paper to substitute one of the three test and also provides other extra credit opportunities.I will be taking him for Gov. II. fall "09"

Government was pretty easy. Sometimes he wasted too much time joking or telling his stories. But he is pretty good teacher overall.

Come on, it's freakin' Gov't. If you have trouble in this class, that EVERYONE has to take, just drop out now. Puts his quizes in the CLC for you to pick up. His tests are exactly like his quizes. I stopped reading the text book because all you have to do is those quizes. Whatever, easy A, fell asleep every lecture, don't know what else to tell you

Puts all his tests and quizzes on reviews for you available to pick up in the CLC. All his lectures are based on powerpoints and also puts Very enthustiastic. Definitely reccommed.

Dr. Jackson provides you the questions for each exam, all you got to do is answer them and study. He'll sometimes get off-topic during the lecture, but he's got a sense of humor and you won't get sick of listening to him. Easy class!

This guy is awesome! you dont have to go to his lectures and you can still get an A as long as you study his reviews and use the book. I would only go to his lectures to get a good laugh. the guy has a great sense of humor and usually can get off topic. he is extremely helpful if you approach him. take this class you wont regret it!

You don't have to go to class, but i would anyway. He's been living in Texas ALL his life and has many interesting stories, he get's off topic a lot, but the class is interesting, he's helpful and a good guy, he does give reviews for the 4 test now, and if you study them it should be an easy A. would definitely recommend this teacher

Instructor has 4 tests. You can make an A as long as you really fill out the review sheets and study them hard. Not as easy as his US Govt class but do-able. Gives an opportunity to complete extra credit. It's a toss up in choosing Dr Jackson or Dr Saxe. Saxe seems to be more entertaining.

I loved this teacher, he is funny and entertaining. His test are so easy and gives out extra credit at times. I got a 100% overall!!

He is a practicing attorney who teaches. The guy is ridiculously easy. He goes through each chapter, and provides the information online as well. Tests are from his review, but I would recommend reading the chapters while doing the review. If you take the time and do this you will ace the test. I got 3 100's and a 95, final is over last chapters.

Great professor, one of the easiest classes I have taken. He is extremely likable and funny, and knows the inside and out of the subject.

class was failry easy, although he ALWAYS got off subject to tell his life stories which he repeated over and over..test are kinda hard, he gives a study guide but test dnt mere study guides...i would take his class again...overall he is a nice man with a great personality...TAKE HIS CLASS!!

He was a great professor. He got off topic but he talked about life and how the government is working at a particular moment. He teaches with WISDOM and EXPERIENCE.

Professor Andrew Jackson is one of few punctual teacher in TCC. He gave out extra points in exam. His lecture can be lengthy but if you carefully listen to his lecture, you will excel in exam. Mr. Jackson wants you to understand and learn not memorize to do well in the test. He is very easy going and helpful. I definitely recommend him.

Professor Jackson is very funny. He gets off the subject of govrnmnt often telling about personal stories. Its an EASY A. Only 4 test the entire semester. 2 are in class. Other 2 are online will multiple attempts. EASY CLASS

He is a really nice guy, but has done a terrible job teaching my class. He's constantly off topic. Class rarely starts when it is supposed to, he is too busy chatting with students for about 30 minutes. We have been behind schedule the whole semester. With 3 class days left in the semester, we still have 3 chapters to cover for our final.

This is a super easy class. It is very helpful to attend class and take notes (especially on the court cases since he is a lawyer). The only thing is is that he gets off on stories all the time and likes to talk about sports (which I have no interest in) which made the class VERY boring. 2 tests in class (beginning and final) and two online.

I took Dr Jackson's class in a MayMester from 5:30-9:40pm. Needless to say most would have been falling asleep but not with Dr Jackson. He was very knowledgeable and very interesting. I would take his class again if I had to...but I don't because he made it so interesting that I made a very high A in the class. Thanks Dr Jackson

Dr. Jackson is an amazing instructor! He is an attorney and knows his material well and makes it very easy to learn ad understand. His test couldntget any easier and he helps you with your study guides if you need it. Definetly rec to take him for gov't! Easy A if you just study!

He is such an adorable penguin. He says you'll need the book, but you won't ever use it. All the notes are online just print them off and bring them to class to add anything extra he might say. He also gives you reviews for the test. All the questions on the review are on the test, so as long as you do the review and study, easy A.

Easy A. Attend the lectures for clarity on the information, read the chapters, and do the reviews! Exams are word for word from the review so study the questions! 4 exams 25 points each so usually 25 questions with almost always extra questions for bonus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

What an amazing teacher. Does everything he can to have every student earn an A. He provides chapter notes and practice exam questions online for students. Mr. Jackson is great at giving lectures on the fundamentals and running of government. He just makes understanding our complicated and massive government easy and interesting.

His class is very easy. I did not have to use the book. Just come to class and do the test reviews and you will get an A. He is very nice, and he makes some really funny comments. However, he does get off on random topics and can be hard to fallow. But if you want a easy government class his is the one to take.

Study the exam sample questions and you will do great on the tests. Class is mostly lecture but he has interesting stories sometimes.

Dr. Jackson is one of the most knowledgeable men I've ever met. Yes, he does go off subject sometimes, but he knows so much about politics. You get 4 exams throughout the course worth 25 points each. No papers. If you study the review you will get an A. I wish he was teaching TX GOVT, I would definitely take him again.

Dr. Jackson is HILARIOUS like you wouldnt think a gov class to be fun but he makes it soo understandable by giving modern examples that relate to our lives and it actually helps you remember concepts. Total of 4 test, no assignment, no homework, no quiz. Easy A if you do the review he post up online. Review is exactly like on the test and in order. He put extra question on test, which is meant for extra credit. You can find the review question answer online or ask him. He will tell you the answer. Most are all of the above.

4 test worth 25 points each. He does give out test reviews which are very easy! And the test is EXACTLY like the reviews. HE does curve his tests too so it's the easiest A+ you'll ever get! HE's hilarious and so adorable

Mr. Jackson knows his stuff, sure his lectures are a little long but they are related to his experience that leads into the material he teaches. He knows his stuff and his test are pretty much easy. Just do your part on completing the test question samples ahead of time and study. The question samples are the same as the test.

Wish Dr. Jackson also taught TX Gov. I checked. If every professor were like him, I'd graduate top of my class with ease. In HS I was a below average student and now more than 20 years later I get a 103 out of 100 in my Fed-Gov class. WOW! Best History teacher i've ever had! He can TALK! But he's entertaining and laid back. His 4 exams are exactly the same as reviews and are either curved or given extra credit. My first one I got a 1025 so about a 40(didn't do review) and I still left his class with an A. I took his night class and everyone was woke and active which speaks volume.

He's really funny, class was long but interesting. He throws a lot of jokes out. Only 4 tests, the reviews are the tests. Gives you outlines for each power point (each chapter). What I did was just do my notes on the outlines, which was easy cause he goes over every point. I never rly used my book, I suggest you don't waste your money. share books!

He posts review questions online and powerpoint outlines. show up to class to get the information you need to complete those reviews and you are good to go. He does take attendance so its very important that you go to class. Tests are very easy if you study. I would definitely recommend taking him.

Amazing professor. I truly enjoyed his class. You only have 4 test the whole semester and he hands out reviews and will go over them. He is funny and can sometimes wonder off topic but overall he will get back to the point. Good class to take. Would recommend.

Only has 4 Exams. I wish I never bought the book, all the answers are online( Quizlet) Just make sure you study. If you ask him what the answers he will give them to you. Review is Exactly like the exam literally word for word. If you don't show up on the day of exam he lets you take the exam on the following class. Easy A you wont regret

Professor Jackson's class is very easy to pass. You have 4 exams, including the Final. You can find the answers on Quizlet. The exams look just like the "Sample Questions" he posts on Blackboard. He is pretty funny and his lectures are not bad. He is very understanding and works with you.

Mr. Andrew is one of the greatest teachers I've had. He was very informative and super funny. His class is super EASY!!! I highly recommend taking his class. His test questions are straight from the review. Didn't need to attend class to pass. Can google all the review questions online. But he is helpful with any questions you have. Also tries to make class entertaining and funny.

Took his class Fall '17, attendance isn't mandatory but it helps to show up to class for his lectures. He adds on more information than what he has on his powerpoints so take notes, it'll help on the reviews for each exam. Don't need the book so don't spend money. 3 exams and 1 final, super easy if you do your reviews.

Funny professor and doesnt require attendance to pass. We have 60% of our class miss almost every period except test days and they still passed, the exams are available through blackboard and can be accessed and studied whenever. Super cool professor

I took professor Jackson over the summer 1 session and it was a piece of cake. His tests are the only assignments in his class. The reviews are identical to the tests but youll still need to look over the review to pass. Although he is constantly late and gets off topic, you can literally skip 70% of his class and STILL pass! Easy A!
