He is very nice and a very easy grader. He cut out several big assignments this semester, but does require a 6-8 page research paper. Weekly written short answer homework or discussions. Very helpful, and allows you to text him any questions.

He's a great professor who wants to see you do well, but you have to put in the work! He treats his students like equals and is there for you at any time if you need anything, offering answers via text at any time during the day. I was on the verge of a B and he made sure to give me the opportunities to get a higher grade. Highly recommend.

Professor Jones is amazing. He really wants you to do well and the class is so easy. There is only 2 quizzes and a group research paper. For the quizzes he basically gives you all the information you need to know. We also never stayed the full class time.

Most of the work is group work so the workload is minimum . He's honestly one of the best professors out there you will learn a lot from the class !

Professor Jones was an amazing Professor. The work load was a lot however, he sent reminders to keep you on track. I wouldn't say Gero 101 is an easy A but as long as you do your work and complete every assignment you should receive a good grade.

This class was a combined undergraduate and graduate class, which made it really interesting. Since it was an ethics based class, there were a lot of discussions and feedback on certain issues. He makes the class very enjoyable and likes to hear from his students. A few papers/assignments and a final presentation. Take him!

This is a new class that is being offered to this major, and he is doing a great job of teaching. He is very open to students opinions and makes the class enjoyable, not reading from slides. There is group work in the class, so make sure to participate. He is always available to talk outside of class and is an overall great teacher!

Professor Jones is THE BEST PROFESSOR AT TOWSON. He is the sweetest guy and cares so much about every single student. Very very easy A 1 midterm, 1 paper, 1 presentation that you choose topic on. He does care a lot about attendance so be there. At the end of the semester if you had perfect attendance and an A you didn't have to take the final!!

Took this class for a core credit. Super easy. He gives well over 50 points of extra credit. Need the textbook unfortunately if taking the online class. His powerpoints do not cover all the questions on the HW. One paper that needs to be 5-7 pages long. 4 exams. Lots of homework. Class is out of 1000 points so plenty of opportunity for a good grade

Would HIGHLY recommend taking any HCMN or ALHT class with Prof. Jones! He really cares about his students and gives recognition for hard work. Make sure to attend all of his classes and you'll do just fine!

Jones is a good professor if you want a good grade. He is a little disorganized but answers questions well when asked. Hw assignments are given last minute and I recommend not skipping this class in case he says something in class. Overall he gives good feedback and this is a pretty chill class.

I took Jones online Gero 101 class. He works with you if you are willing to work with him. He is easily accessible via email or texts. His quizzes are not hard, do the study guide and you will be fine. I would defiantly recommend taking this class.

I found this guy to be more difficult than others said. There are a lot of homework assignments. He is a tough grader and always finds way to take points off. He is very strict/ picky about APA citation. On the positive side, he cares about his students, and has good communication. I would not consider the GERO101 Online class easy.

Professor Jones is a class act! If you put in the effort there is no reason you shouldn't get an A. Tests are straight forward and he gives you the review in advance. I have him for my advisor as well and he goes out of his way to help his students. Defiantly take him for as many courses as possible.

The requirements are for the weekly assignments are clearly written and correct APA citation is huge for this class. There is a paper due towards the end of the semester but you have plenty of time to complete it. If you have any questions Professor Jones is always available for consultation and he gives feedback to help you improve your work.

THIS IS MY MANS RIGHT HERE! I've taken him for 4 classes because he is like a father figure to me. He makes the class so fun and worthwhile. BUT PARTICIPATE !! If you class don't participate, he gives our random pop quizzes. To avoid this, just raise your hand and say the dumbest things and he will be happy about it. HE IS THE MOST CARING PROF EVER

All of the tests are based on what he lectuures and not what is in the books or in the ppt slides. He's a really goof professor but he grades wayyyyyyyyy too harshly on papers. Take your time with his class y'all. Work very hard on your papers.

Anyone on here saying he is a bad professor or difficult is wrong - if you fail his class you must not be going to class. he changes deadlines if you ask him, he's super easy at grading, AND he genuinely cares about all of his students and will help you with advising even if he isn't your advisor. don't listen to anyone who gives him a bad rating

Prof Jones is SOOO sweet! I loved him and his class. I took Gero101 for some credits, and as long as you go to class (he's very big on attendance) you will pass with an easy A. Great professor, tough grader. Big on cheating, exams are done via zoom with the camera on during class. Participation matters big, (which I enjoyed and felt like I learned more). He is very helpful and wants everyone to win but is very by the book. Communication is GREAT, always reachable via phone or email. I would take him again!

Took this class Fall 2022 and got an A. It's a paper loaded class with a lot of case studies. However, he gives a lot of hints on how to complete each one and If you listen/ follow the directions you'll receive an A on each paper. He's very helpful when it comes to feedback and allowing you to retry again. Participation is important!!

If you have an opportunity to take a class with professor Jones, do it! It was apparent he cares about his students success and well-being he was always willing to help, provided great feedback, and timely grades. Some key points: attendance is part of the grade for online, more written assignments, less exams, class participation is a must.

I took this class a few semesters years ago, but it was hands down the best professor I have had at TU. I recommend it because he takes the time to know his students and does whatever he can to help. His feedback tells you where you went wrong in detail, so you have clear guidance on what to do, and his grading is more than fair.
