Strongly recommend Mr. Kennon. Everything we learn in class goes hand in hand W/ the home work. He even does example problems taken right out of the homework to insure that students understand what is expected of them. Before every test he gives a review that has EVERYTHING you need to know on it. Failing this class is close to impossible.

I took my first college Algebra class this semester and Professor Kennon was awesome. He tends to talk fast but goes over almost all the homework before you actually have to do it so lesson becomes easier. A total of 3 tests but does a review before each one. Im horrible with math, but so far Ive made an A on each test! TAKE HIM!

Amazing professor. No textbook needed, everything is done on the computer. Very helpful. The tests are the same as the review. He made statistics very easy.

Super easy, he basically did the homework and study guides for you. The tests are modeled exactly like the study guide. Class was always around half an hour long, since you could leave if you're done for the day. Final is optional. I didn't learn a thing though.

This is the one of the best professors I have ever had at FSCJ your only in class at tops 30 minutes and he you tube each class lecture for you to go back and listen to and study its 3 test and the rest is homework assignments that you are allowed to do at your own pace

Professor Kennon is Amazing! He is willing to help you if you just email him or go see him during his office hours. Homework assignments are 25% of your grade and there are three tests worth 75%. 2 retakes on each test. He gives study guides that are EXACTLY like the test. I highly recommend Professor Kennon for Statistics, I found it to be fun.

Very straight-forward online class. The 3 tests makeup 75% of your grade which you can take twice. The remaining 25% are assignments that you can redo an unlimited amount of times. He thoroughly covers the material on slides and YouTube videos. The material can seem complex and while I hate math, this class is as easy or as hard as you make it.

I took this class online. He required no book or material purchase, provides homework through google drive. A simple video lecture with powerpoint, and then a simple homework section after. All materials posted at the beginning of the course. Provided test and then a retake test so you can learn and improve your grade. I highly recommend.

His online class is great. He provides powerpoints for the lessons, the homework is on Google Drive, and he provided a Youtube playlist of lectures from his other classes. The tests aren't hard if you study for them. He decided to do projects this semester, weren't hard. He gave us the option to do them on our own if we had to. I'd take him again.

It was my first time in over 10 years taking another math class. He was absolutely helpful, available before & after class for questions. Lectures are very informative & easy to follow along. The homework he gives you, is an easy A since you have multiple times to take it. He gives you pointers on tests & you review the test questions before test.

This class was for sure an easy A. I thought that statistics would be SO hard because that is what everyone says, but Kennon made this class SO easy. You have 3 tests and 3 group projects. You can do re-do every homework assignment until you get an A and can re-do each test. I got a 100% in this class.

Easy class, laid-back professor, and very light workload. No txtbook used, just an online site called Formative which is free (bonus!). Watch lectures on youtube before class, and quiz and hw are done during class hrs. I loved how flexible the class was - you don't automatically get behind for missing one class since everything is on Bb. Recommend!

Prof Kennon is awesome! He teaches based on how you do on quizzes, and will sometimes give you the answers if he felt like it was too difficult. He lets you retake homework, lecture, and projects. You get multiple tries! He is a very hilarious guy and I would take him again! You don't really have to come to class, but its helpful if you do.

He's helpful & will answer questions quickly. All instruction is from short videos & the opensource textbook, so if you have difficulty teaching yourself, you may have trouble. He uses the free Lumen OHM instead of MyMathLab. It's a less developed program, but I found it decent. You also have many attempts to answer hw and test questions correctly.

I took Dr. Kennons online sta2023 class it was easy and effortless! The class is completely online! No proctored exams! No books required! Only 9 chapters, 3 practice tests and 3 tests. Need a stats calculator. I would totally recommend this professor to anyone!

This was by far the easiest math class. Took it online and never once felt that I had no idea what was going on. Directions are clear and if you work ahead you can be done in a couple weeks. He sets the class up for everyone to pass.

This professor is AMAZING! MAC1105 was a breeze. The students use computers that are in the classroom and use the website Lumen Ohm. The 5 question quizzes and 10 question Tests are done at home on the website. The work is EASY, just do it! I used to hate math but I actually looked forward to coming to this class! Definitely taking him again!

To be honest, the modules have a fair amount of work BUT the way it is laid out makes it very easy to understand and pass. I have never passed a math course with an A and I did this time! He is great and responds very quickly to questions. Take him!

Professor Kennon was great! He uses the system ALEKS which is super easy to use. I did feel like this was an online class but I liked that if I needed help I had a teacher to talk face to face with instead of having to email back and forth or using google/mathway to solve the problems for me

I took this class during the summer of 2019. At first, I wasn't sure about him... but as the term went on, I learned that he is a super chill guy and helped a TON with the homework in class. I only got a C because it was summer and I was not really in "school mode" so to speak. I am also not very good at math.

Best professor at FSCJ. FSCJ has done a great disservice to many students for still using PEARSON for MATH! I used ALEKS and it's the reason I passed. He is a jewel of a professor because he is pacific and understanding.

Hes such a great professor, he is very understanding and a great teacher. Hes always there to help. The class is self paced but you are expected to be at a certain topic by the end of the week to maintain a certain grade. Overall, he is one of the nicest professors Ive had, hes so great this will be my third time taking him.

I took professor Kennon's statistics class online. He uses the ALEKS program, which I had never used before. The ALEKS program is very easy to use, and I like it a lot more than MyMathLab. I've had to email him a couple of times and he's very nice and helpful! He has a great website that helps when a problem gets challenging. He's a great choice!

This class was taken online through a program called ALEKS. I am generally terrible at Math, however, I was surprised how easy this class was. The ALEKS program provided many examples and videos to help you learn the information. Professor Kennon was also available every week to sign into a conference call if you needed additional help. Easy A!

Class is online using ALEKS system which you need to buy an Access Code for but not book. It's cheaper to wait and buy online through website. Professor opens up class about a week or two early so you can do an online Initial Knowledge Check which will determine how many Topics you need to learn to finish the Pie Goal & then Final Exam (proctored).

I've taken an online math course with Professor Kennon FOUR times. He's always super helpful & makes himself available. Are you bad at taking test? This course is designed to where you can do poor on both the midterm & final and still pass! Class is done through Aleks super easy to follow!

Mr. Kennon is too cool! Easy online homework, easy quizzes based off the homework, and three exams. Has you complete very similar practice exams before the actual ones and lets you have a cheat sheet on the exams. Lets you work ahead; I finished the class in 5 sessions and he did not make me come back. I loved this class and it was an easy "A!"

Everything is due at the end of the semester. Youll have to record yourself taking the final exam and its in a locked browser. Basically you will get whatever grade you aleks pie chart is. Put in the work and youll do good. The class itself was a little difficult I had to put in a lot of time to get my grade. The professor was very helpful!

Best math professor ever! I took him for a 15 week STA 2023 course and finished it in 6 weeks. He uses the Aleks system which is way better than Mathlab. There is a lot of homework but it is managable. Very quick to respond to emails!

He uses the ALEKS system which requires you to participate. ALEKS is accessible through CANVAS. The ALEKS system has 180 total topics. You're supposed to get as many topics done as possible. The completion of the PIE in the ALEKS system determines how well you do on the KNOWLEDGE EXAM. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN COMPLETING THE INITIAL KNOWLEDGE!

I love my professor Kennon, I am currently taking MGF1106 and now I signed up for Stats for next semester. He will allow you to have, your own notes open during the tests, which is awesome bc I tend to easily forget information specially math, if it wasn't for that, I would have failed. He is awesome and wants you to succeed, take him!

This class wasn't as hard as i thought it was going to be. The ALEKS system that professor kennon uses made it so easier to understand the work. He'll also show you how to do it in if you don't understand. You can tell he genuinely wants you to understand and pass. I'm taking him again next semester for stats. Professor Kennon was great this semester! He made the class content easily understandable and had a clear grading criteria. He was very flexible with deadlines and was always ready to help. His class is on the ALEKS system, which allows you to go at your own pace and study where you like. Attendance is optional, but I recommend going for help.

He opens his class about two weeks early so i jumped right in there and got to work, I struggle in math so if you're like me get a head start. TAKE NOTES. TAKE HIM! I am terrible at math and you just can't fail. He explains everything and has recourses to help you succeed. I have 6 kids and going to school full time and still got a 98% Literally just complete the pie and you will kill it! Class is not mandatory but I still showed up. He records classes also! Professor Kennon is hands down the best professor I have ever had! I've taken him for two semesters. He works 1-on-1 with his students. Great professor, he does lecture shortly. In the beginning it was all over the place but towards the end we had a clear grade system and was extremely easy. I would take him again! Easy credit and he really wants you to pass. For the midterm and final you get to work with others and from home. In class were lecture+quiz he went over with us.

Definitely take this class if you can! I took Professor Kennon for both algebra and stats and passed both with A's. You use an app called ALEK where you work at your own pace, it also very accessible at home through canvas. Prof. A will also let you take your final early if you get to 95% over all completion of the course.

Took his 7 week online course. He uses the Aleks program, which requires a ton of HW/ took me hours to complete. Tests are proctored, but we were able to use our notes during. 2 IMPORTANT PIECES OF ADVICE: Do not slack off on the HW and take very detailed notes on the HW! Your highest knowledge check (test) is your final grade for the class.

He'll give you extra credit if you show up to class consistently. Pretty much self taught, Aleks is pretty straight-forward, easy to pass but wouldn't recommend if you want an in depth statistics class. Somewhat self-paced with clear due dates. Just stay on top of it, ask questions if needed Professor Kennon always seemed more than happy to help!

All work was on Aleks. Very easy class honestly. The class meetings is not mandatory. He just do class meetings to help with assignments you have trouble on.

Professor Andrew has a teaching style that makes the class feel easy and approachable. He is also incredibly reasonable regarding assignments and deadlines, always considering our workload and offering flexibility. Outside of class, he is highly accessible, making time for students who have questions or need extra help.

Time in class is you teaching yourself the material after he goes through it very quickly, and he sometimes doesn't even. However, he's helpful when you have questions. He's super lenient for a math class, and if you're no math major he's a good way to get an extra A to bump your GPA up. not my type of professor but it ended up well in the end.

Dr.Kennon's online class was very easy. The meetings for the class are not mandatory and for the most part, you get to work at your own pace. There are 2 or 3 exams but only the final one is proctored. He is very accessible and easy to get ahold of if you have issues in class and is very considerate towards his students/ extending deadlines.

Professor Kennon's entire class was taken on ALEKS. I liked the system as a whole because you could move at your own pace throughout the course. The course is not difficult at all. You may take 2-5 knowledge checks, with the final knowledge check being proctored. Professor Kennon allows people who finish their pie early to take the final.

This professor is awesome. I have struggled with math all through college, so I was very nervous to take statistics. But I did really well. We did not use pearson but the other program that's like a pie. He responded quickly and was always ready to help.

I have taken 2 separate courses from Professor Kennon, he is one of the most amazing professors there are. He cares about every student. Math has never been a strong suit for me, and I usually don't do well with the intimidation and anxiety of it, but with the teaching programs and pace this professor uses I was able to do well.

Math and I don't get along but Professor Kennons class was great! He is very clear about how the grading works and he keeps up with weekly announcements on what you should be focusing on. I like Aleks (the website/pie chart for this course), as you can work at your own pace. He replied to my emails very promptly and gave great feedback!

Prof. Kennon was great. Took him for Stats on Mayport and got confused/couldn't get on base but he was understanding and I kept up with the online program. Just do the work weekly, come to class for any extra help from him, and you will pass. The program was user friendly and Prof gave a paper guide that helped explain confusing topics.

Overall the experience was good and he was friendly, i struggle with math topics but his class was normally easy with a few bumps. As long as you pay attention to the videos you should be okay :)

I wish I could've taken him for all my math classes. Prof. Kennon was great. The program was pretty user guided but Prof. Kennon helped with any questions in class and never made anyone feel bad for asking for help. He explained things well and acknowledged that some math just sucks. He didn't grade attendance, could email if you couldn't make it.

The professor is great and explains the material well. However, be aware that he gives proctored exams and a midterm, so if you don't like that style of testing or don't have time for it, this class might be challenging.

I learned a lot in he's class! I am not great in math, but he came up with a lot of great tools to help you remember. If you work hard and get your assignments done, you should be alright.

I was nervous about this class but the teacher has a website where he records lectures and walks you through how to do every type of problem. Attendance isn't mandatory but could help bump up your grade at the end if you close to an A. Also this class uses a math program called Aleks, which makes it so much easier to learn each concept. Professor Kennon is so good at explaining things and he will give you many oppriontys to improve your grade. He wants you to succeed. Lots homework and the last test is not proctored.
