He was a really easy professor. Tests we basically the powerpoints/lectures. Puts the lectures up so you don't need to attend class, but he give you extra credit if you only miss a certain number.

Was a great teacher, easy class as well. Tests are pretty much straight from the notes and powerpoints, which he provides online. Will get bonus points from only missing a certain number of classes, but attendance isn't necessary. Highly recommend for anyone!

He gives really clear grading outlines: grade is determined out of total amount of points, not weighting. Tests are exactly like the study guides, 2 papers but the rubrics were really clear and pretty much outlined the paper for you. Extra credit at end if you don't miss more than 6 classes. Overall, easy class and he's a nice guy! Would recommend!

Dr. Mannheimer is a pretty cool professor. His tests are fair and his lectures are straightforward. He is also nice and gives study guides and let us vote on what essay questions we wanted for the last two exams. However, you won't get specific feedback on your papers which I just found out the hard way. I would still recommend taking him.

Took this class for my cross cultural awareness credit. Easiest class you could take for that. His lectures aren't too interesting, but you should go to get the extra credit points for attendance. Just do the study guide he gives out and you can easily make an A on the tests. Also, no cumulative final exam.

His lectures aren't boring, and he's pretty funny. He's young, so the content he presents is usually current and relatable. You have 2 essays, but they're short and easy. HW is online & short. Do the study guides for the exams and you're solid. He gives you 5 essay prompts for the exams and uses 3 of them. You get 5 absences before you lose points.

Mannheimer makes this class so entertaining, and I really enjoyed learning about this material. He is a great professor and does not make class too hard, but you still have to put in some work when studying for the exams.

This class is so easy. He takes attendance but only gives extra credit for not skipping too much. Exams and essays are graded very easily. Study guides given out before exams gives you the exact short answer questions on the exams. Worst part is that homework (extremely easy) is due at 8pm the day before class.

This is that type of class where you can not pay attention at all in lectureaka what I doand find a quizlet the night before an exam, put it in learn mode, and then get a 100 on the exam. This is probably one of the easiest classes you can take. It is very vocab based. If you know the vocab, you will probably make an A on the test. He even gives out study guides that basically tell you what is on the test. There are no trick questions. It is super straight forward. My only complaint is that he takes forever to grade.

Andrew is a great professor and makes class fun. The exams are very straight forward and based off of the vocabulary. This is a class that will not consume much time and is easy. There are also a couple extra credit opportunities given and only one paper to write which is graded very easily.

Easiest Honors class ever. Skipped at least half of the classes & finished with a high A. However, he does make the class interesting & you can tell he is super passionate about sociology. He's really young so he's able to relate with his students. If you complete the study guides & skim them before the tests, you'll be fine. Very straightforward.

Take Mannheimer!! Since it's an intro sociology class, the material is a mile wide and an inch deep. It's an easy class, but the reason you should take this class is really just because he's an awesome guy. He's always willing to talk to his students, and I had some great conversations with him after classes that I really cherish. He can also rap!!

I loved taking sociology with Mannheimer. Although my experience may be different because I took it as a summer bound course (online due to covid), it was an amazing class. Expectations were clear, and class was very relaxed. It was super easy to get an A in the class, all you have to do is understand the concepts and submit assignments on time.

Easiest class out there! This class is tons of fun and Mannheimer will rap for the class if you're lucky! I skipped so many lectures and still ended with a 100. The class is graded based on one research paper and four equally weighted tests that were all open browser due to COVID. 10/10 recommend!

Easiest soc class you will ever take. Taken online and all exams were open book/browser. This man is amazing at explaining hard topics and promoted healthy in class discussion. The best part is that he can literally rap so well its scary. Just ask him if you have his class, he never disappoints when it comes to dropping serious bars.

I was hesitant about taking an Honors course because I thought it would be unbelievably difficulthowever, this class is not the case. The exams were straightforward, the lectures were easy to follow, and the workload was not heavy at all. He provides study guides for his exams, which rely heavily on the slides and assigned readings. But, all exam questions can be found on Quizlet. He doesn't assign HW. He assigned 1 paper throughout the entire semester.

Professor Mannheimer truly cares for his students and this class. This is a heavy lecture class but if you miss one you'll be fine. You can email him about anything and he will be more than happy to help you out. Take good notes, ask questions, read the articles he attaches to Canvas; it will all help you for the test. His class was very interesting and easy to follow. He gives you a study guide for all the exams with all the material on it. There were 4 short essays throughout the semester which were very simple and only needed 400 words. I submitted one of them very late and he only took off one letter grade. Andrew is probably one of the best sociology professor she could have out there. He makes the lectures very interesting and fun, but attendance is not required. Only one essay for the entire term, and all four exams are open book/open web. All the exam questions come from the lecture slides as well. No trick questions!

Dr Mannheimer was always prepared and on time. His only weakness would be that he shows way too many videos and makes the class do group discussion papers. The problem with group discussion papers is that nobody would participate so therefore it was hard to complete the assignment. All around a great professor though.

Mannheimer has been one of my favorite teachers this year. Classes were only on Mondays & Fridays (75 minutes). He taught through PowerPoints that are released a few days in advance. While class is technically mandatory, he doesn't actually take attendance. Total of 4 exams and 1 paper. All exams were open note / open browser.

All 3 exams & the online final are open note/browser, he gives you a study guide & if you fill that out by copying and pasting the information from the PowerPoints then getting an A on the exams is very easy. The class was very easy, material was easy to understand and I looked forward to going to class. The class was truly a breath of fresh air compared to other classes!

Please take Dr. Mannheimer. The class itself is pretty easy, and is majority 4 exams (open notes) and a paper, however, Mannheimer is the best part of it. Hes super interesting and his lectures are interesting plus hes just a great person overall. super understanding and clearly loves sociology. Definitely take this professor you won't regret it.

Manheimer is AMAZING. Easiest gen-ed I've taken here. All the tests are comprehensive but they all are open note/ open canvas. He really knows what he's talking about and cares about his students. He has attendance quizzes daily but they aren't a huge part of your grade and you can miss a few classes and still have an A.

BEST TEACHER EVER. I cannot say this enough TAKE HIS CLASS. He is the funniest and most entertaining teacher ever. I never thought I would enjoy learning sociology but he makes it so entertaining.

Attendance not "mandatory" but counts for extra credit at the end of the semester. Easy to grasp content, pretty straightforward. Group project throughout the semester that's easy. Definitely a great option for global challenge course.

Professor Mannheimer is the best! He gives you so much extra credit opportunities and wants you to do well in his class. His exams are all open-note and open-book, which makes it very easy to do well. There's only one paper you have to write, and it's not bad at all. Definitely take his class for an easy A!

Attendance is "mandatory". Lectures can be boring at points because its an intro course but he is hysterical and makes it fun (ask him to rap). Tests are open note and very easy so getting a good grade is not hard.
