Teaches like you're 10 years old but that's the GOOD THING!!! It totally helps because as well all know, math is NOT an easy subject. Great teacher, makes sure everyone understands everything. Like someone said before...he IS like a tall teddy bear! Hahaha :D.

The best teacher in the world. He is super clear and very helpful. He really knows his stuff. I have taken 3 classes with him (Stats. Bus Cal, & Interm. Algebra) and have gotten A's in all. Take any of his math classes, he will make them all fun & especially easy.

Medin is the best teacher at this damn school. If you need to pass the ELM no problem with him. Just go to class, take notes, do homework and go the the math lab. You'll definately have no problem passing these remedial classes with him as your teacher!!!!!

THE BEST teacher. I always had trouble in math, but he explains it really well. He never makes you feel stupid. Go to class everyday, get math lab hours over with in the beginning, and of coarse study. He is very helpful and funny too. He knows what he doing and talking about. I hate math, and he was my best math teacher.

If you have to re-take GMS 91 because you didnt pass last semester, taking this professor it will guarantee you to get credit in this class he breaks down every single step. i personally hate math i have a hard time understanding it, but his way of teaching is very understandable. i def. recommend you all to take him...YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

WOW!!Incredible teacher.. I am horrible with math!! I have never understood math until the day I walked into his class! I cant beleive I didnt take his class sooner!! I will definetly be searching for him for other classes. HEs AMAZING!!!!!!!! accept with cell phones.. he hates those!!

Even though I was not supposed to be in this class it was a great review. He has an amazing teaching style and wants everyone to do well. He is extremely nice and will do all he can to help you pass. Take him!

He is a really good and fair professor! He lectures for a short period of the class and you usually get out early. The homework is online and you dont use textbooks!

The class is going to be hard no matter who you take it w/ since each teacher teaches the same material. Medin is the best teacher you can take. He is easy going and really tries to explain the material as simply as he can as it can be pretty hard. It sucks that the work for STATS 119 is online, just do good online because that makes your grade.

The class is very hard but it´s not just his class. Everyone who takes stat 119 says it´s hard. He doesn´t want to buy the textbook because is available on-line. Try to visit his office as much as possible and it would help you pass the class. The quiz are take home.

great teacher. He knows his stuff and is always helpfull. Homeworks are harder then the test but help out. Do the practice exams and go into his office hours if you need help. I hated math untill this class

He is an AMAZING professor. I am definately NOT a math person, and he breaks things down to the easiest level so that any person can understand even I have an A which never happens. The tests are not much easier b/c its departmental, but he definately does a great job explaining things. Definately down to earth and helpful. Great teacher.

HE'S SUCH A COOL GUY. ALL STAT 119 CLASSES ARE HARD BUT HE MAKES IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND. HE'S ONE OF THE STAT TEACHERS THAT TEACHES YOU EVERYTHING ON THE CALCULATOR WHICH IS REALLY HELPFUL ON THE TEST. OVERALL HARD CLASS, GREAT TEACHER.

great teacher! .. he sympathies with his students and even though now he uses the department test hes loose on the grading and teaches with the calculator which makes it much easier! i payed attention in class and managed a b easily

Really good teacher...Go to his office hours if you get lost and he will help. The more effort you make the better off you are. Good if you took remedial math previously, plus hes funny and relateable.

Hands down best math teacher. He is so helpful, and his lectures are clear. He explains everything, goes fast but easy to follow. Highly recommend.

This guy is awesome. Don't buy the book. Make sure you print out the notes online and bring them to every lecture. Attendance is not mandatory but you must go to do well on the exams.

Loved this guy! So funny, and knows what he's talking about. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK, just the MathXL CD and that's all you need. When doing your homework, never leave an answer blank! It's easy points! Usually show up to class on Fridays or before breaks (when students tend to ditch) because that's when he'll do pop quizzes.

GREAT Guy. Really nice. Makes the material make sense. If you must take stats at State take it from him. He uses the calculator and does not make you show work. Class is worth taking

this class is hard, but he does everything to help you get the best grade possible. unlike the other stat teachers, he teaches you easier methods of problem solving. TAKE MEDIN, TRUST ME

The class is hard and he uses the department exams which are extremely hard. But he does everything he can to help you out. He is a really nice guy, funny, and going to class and his office hours are the best thing to do to pass this class

HE IS AWESOME... If you have struggled with math in the past, he is THE GUY. He is extrememly smart, everything is "a walk in the park" as he says. He will explain calculus as easy as 1-2-3. I tottaly recomend him... not his wife (sorry)

Statistics is hard no matter who you take it with. I got a D the first time, with Medin, I got a B. He explains everything clearly to you, and repeats it a few times to make sure you get it. His class is mostly calculator based; and so he teaches you on how to get answers the easy way. Didnt need to buy the book for the class.

Stats is hard period, but Medin does a good job teaching. I got a D the first time, with Medin I got a B. Shows you how to solve problems using calculators and not with the confusing charts. Explains things a few times just to make sure the class gets it. Nice guy, easy to talk to when you have questions.

Super laid back. Class is mandatory, but you could probably miss about 5 classes and be okay. Uses the most EASIEST teaching methods ever! Tests were straight out the that green book just different numbers. take him and you will love math!

He was an excellent teacher. I got an A in Calculus because he was very clear on each concept. GO TO CLASS or you will be behind. Buy the book cause all our homework was out of the book

I was a bit nervous going back to school but he made me enjoy learning math all over again. He's an amazing teacher! Teaches you in an easy and clear way to understand what you are learning. Easy A if you just go to class and do your homework. Very laid back if you are late to class.
