Very nice teacher! Fair exams but watch out for timing. Interesting labs! There is a fair amount of statisc work which is a little boring but you need it. Just do all the exercises & study for exams....B at least! Good course!

Love him! very funny, does wacky stuff. Very generous marker. Gave me an appreciation for the physical world. Totally recommend Enviro chem.

He is very nice, funny, intresting and helpful. He makes everything clear and got my intrested in chemistry. I strongly recomend to take Chem 1117 or any of his courses.

Very nice teacher, loves his crazy labs. Came dressed as a clown on halloween and did this really weird thing trying to scare the class.

So much fun! He was the kid blowing up the science lab in HS. Interactive classes. Zaney sense of humor, very helpful. Loves chemistry and wants to turn on students to chemistry. Notes are a little sparatic, but if you ask for help he will clarify.

He's a very easy teacher. If you study all his online exams and the exams in his workbook, you'll defenately get a good mark. As well, he's willing to help students in class/outside of class. (Sometimes, he'll tell you the answers for the labs.)

Excellent teacher: smart, funny, and interesting. His teaching style is nice and fairly relaxed, and he does neat demos in class. Like one time he saturated cotton with a nitrogen compound and lit it on fire, making a big bang and a bright flash of light. Very fun.

Very good Prof, one of my favorite in the school. If I come across a class that I need and he teaches it I would take him over anyone else. He makes concepts very easy to understand, exams are long but he prepares you for them. He is very smart and makes class fun. I recommend this class to anyone with Chem back round or not.

Andy's the man, he's you typical chemistry teacher. Kind of nerdy but at times hilarious. Really fair marker and test questions are straight from his notes, often word for word. As long as you show up to every class then you shouldn't have a problem aceing it. Anything he teaches is interesting.

Was so scared of chem before taking his class... Andrew is so helpful!! But his voice/accent/slight lisp? makes lectures a bit difficult to understand at first. Im so glad I took chem 1114 with Andrew!

He really loves Chem, and he's sometimes crazy. Everybody attends his class can tell. If you are a native English speaker and/or like a interesting professor, you definitely want to choose him.

If youre takin Chem with andrew you must expect a lot of work. on line quizzes, in class or take home. he is also not an easy marker. he pays too much attention to details. But he is a nice guy, open to help his students. I liked his classes to be honest although I think I would have gotten A if I had taken it with anybody else.

Andrew is a really, really nice guy - I suspect that's why he's so highly rated. However, he's not a fantastic teacher - He tends to waffle on and his explanations aren't very clear. He's a little absent minded and constantly makes mistakes and typos. However, he makes up for this with his lovely personality and willingness to help any time you ask

Mosi is an amazing chem prof. He is hilarious and he really is passionate in his teaching. He is very clear on what will be on the exams and what you need to study. His exams are really fair, they cover exactly what he talks about in the lectures. Show up to his lectures and you will do well in this course.

Fantastic teacher and great sense of humor. Once I missed the class and he gave me a mini lecture on a topic in his office. Even though I'm not interested in Chem he sparked my interest in it. Tests are easy as long as you are preparing for them. The final exam was really tough so it's better to do well on the midterms.

Great professor, inspires students, brings material to class to keep students interested and show the application of what is learnt. There are a lot of homework, but they help a lot, preparing you for the quizzes and exams.

Andrew was surprisingly focused and on topic, despite what we've heard otherwise. Yes, when there is time to spare, he enjoys his 'additional topics' but they're usually fun. Got through all the topics with time to spare. Easy marker, I suspect there are a lot of A students. *Do the mastering chemistry hw*, early or on time, it prepares you well

Andrew is passionate and knowledgeable. He loves chemistry and it shows in his classes. Instead of powerpoint slides, he tends to lecture with the whiteboard. Although his handwriting is hard to read sometimes, he is clear with his explanations. Quizzes take place in class while labs are mandatory, so attendance is crucial for success.

Andrew is super willing to help. I had heard students ask the same question multiple times but he never gets mad. There are a lot of easy marks. But u will have to view the lecture very carefully to get good marks. Really helpful, just go to him.

One can easily pass this course. His midterms and quizzes are quite easy. He puts everything from his lectures and notes. It is mandatory to attend all labs. You need to go through the lectures to score the best. He responds to your emails and helps one in understanding the concepts. Great instructor!!! Always helpful.

The live lectures were a bit chaotic. Watching them back on my own time later worked a lot better for me. With that being said, you can tell he cares about his students and what he teaches. Very approachable if you have any difficulties or curiosities. He'll go in depth when answering questions, making sure you understand. I enjoyed the class.

Chem 1114 was the first chemistry class I have ever taken, and I am so glad I took it with Andrew! He is a great prof! He always answers your questions no matter how silly they may seem, he clearly explains what will be on tests/quizzes, and his lectures are very insightful. I would definitely take a class with him in the future.

Solid prof if you are willing to put in the effort to study chemistry, a cool but difficult subject. Studying is a must.

top 3 of my favorite profs in Langara. I didn't like chemistry and I struggled with it. Mossi actually provided both a passion for chemistry and was willing to help. I failed chemistry in high school and was always against it but Andrew made me appreciate and actually want to study for chemistry. I highly recommend him.

Andrew is super helpful and understanding. He is quick to respond and meet on zoom, and really cares about your learning experience. All his labs and quizzes have a good amount of attempts, so not only did this improve my grades a lot, it helped me to learn my mistakes and correct them.

Chemestry could be a little tough when is virtual, but the professor made the class really enjoyable! He was super clear with the course. He's really open to answer questions. Labs can be a lot of work but they are really interesting. I recommend the course and the professor 100%. He's super professional.

He put extra lecture videos online so you can watch them for review. He gave exam practice questions which helped me understand the exam materials. If you completed them before the exams, you would well prepared for the exams. Extra bonus points would be given if you answered more than the information listed in lecture, & made Chemistry easier.

I like that if you don't know an answer, he asks you questions so you can figure it out yourself. I would definitely take a class with him again. I've always struggled with online classes, but he made them enjoyable. He always tries to help students with study guides, and his passion for teaching is evident. Excellent professor!
