He is a new teacher so he is a little rough but he gave us a lot of second chances if the whole class did bad and he did everything he could for us to understand

bro newey is seriously so awesome. he is hilarious. he teaches what we need to learn and he helps you understand what you need to learn for the test. he will let you do what you want and he is there for you if you need his help. he is willing to work with you if you need his help. all you have to do is ask for it. he makes math 110 so much fun.

Newey is the BOMB!!! Loved him as a person and a teacher! He was hilarious, loves to talk to his students and joke around. He even sang to the class and broke out in dance moves, and i heard some awesome beat box action, haha take him! He's so awesome! You have to do your work and you still have to do your part but he lightened up my day for sure.

He is a really kind teacher. I feel that class wasn't very effective because there were a number of times where we didn't talk about everything we needed for the homework

Brother Newey is one of the kindest, and helpful teachers I have had. He is willing to let you come in and ask questions about the tests, or anything in general, and gives you as much credit as possible. He has the funniest puns and makes class enjoyable. Bro Newey is great! He'll reach out to you if you need help bringing your grade up, and he's willing to give back partial credit on test questions you miss. The textbook is online so you don't need to buy one. The lectures days are important to attend so you can complete the assignment, but after the first unit attendance on prep days is optional.

Brother Newey is great! He works with students both in and outside of class. His class expectations are well defined. There is both prep work and homework. There are 4 tests, which are cumulative. The tutors are actively involved during group meetings which are twice a week.

I liked Bro Newey's class, he is willing to help if you ask him for. I dont think he has a lot of experience with college students but he is definitely willing to meet after class if you have any questions. He also has a repentance policy that helps a lot if you did poorly in previous tests.

Brother Newey is a friendly teacher. Class is optional but you get graded on in class activity which we have every class period. Class activity was graded based on completion. I could not keep up with his speed in class many times, but he is a good teacher.

I feel like he would just talk in circles. I had an easier time learning from other students and the TA's.

The course was well organized and prepared. There was a good schedule in place that we could count on for the entire semester, and it wasn't too bad. There is group work but I was really grateful to have a group to study with.

Make sure to read the book, it is a online book but if you read it then you will understand the lectures a lot better. You will become really good friends with your group so choice cool people.

This was my second time taking stats and I actually understood the material this time! Going to the lectures are critical. The group meetings are good and helpful, but I was really able to understand because I went to the classes. Hilarious and really cares about students succeeding.

The way the class is set up is helpful to really learn the material in a deeper way. you meet as a group 2x a week, discuss the prep work, then 2x a week as a class to learn it deeper.

Every preparation assignment you have to do with the group that you were assigned at the beginning of the semester, so it was frustrating to always have to get with them, but also helpful from learning from each other.

What I appreciated the most was I could tell that he really cared. Brother Newey wants us all to succeed so he made it challenging at times, but I could tell he genuinely wanted us to master the material and become the best we could. Overall, he is a great teacher!

The pre-tests didn't do much to help me for the tests. Four days a week for a class was hard and sometimes felt like too much. But, he gives really good lectures and is very helpful when you need it!

This class is really interesting and Bro. Newey makes it fun and enjoyable to be in. Expect to go to group meetings twice a week with mandatory attendance though.

Pretty good class and teacher. Take notes in class (he writes it all up). Use the Excel programs he gives you. Do all of the prep work. He teaches just a bit like we're all kids, but not much. Good class.

This class in general can be a hard class if you are not good at math. Be prepared to study that is the only way to pass the tests. But you are allowed 1 sheet of paper so that is a positive. I would take it from Bro. Newey because he is nice, and he curves the tests too!
