honestly, i hated him at first. he does come off completely stuck up, but once you get to know him, he's the best. totally got me to take chances with my writing. he's arrogant because he's pushing you. he's hot because he's smart. and funny too.

He is the best. You will never fall asleep in his class. He is funny even if he's not trying to be funny. Discussion is very OPEN and fun, but you gotta be ready to back up anything you say. It's English, Debate, and History all in one.

hes very easy to talk to with a great sense of humour. he cares about his students and is willing to work with you until you understand fully the subject matter. he is laid back, but be ready to have valid comments in the time of discussion.

Mr. Rempt is awesome. He is beyond funny, and keeps the class interesting. His class is very easy as well. You must write one 5 page essay, and take the final. You also have to write journals, which are quotes from the reading and your comments. The work load is light and the class is enjoyable.

Overall an awesome teacher. He is very funny and makes class interesting. Doesn't give much hw. If u have the chance to take his class I recommend you do.

Mr. Rempt is the best teacher ive had sence 4th grade. He makes class fun and interesting. He picks good books to read and i always leave the class crying because i was laughing so hard. I will miss this class and if had to take it again i definitly would.

Andrew Rempt is a natural at teaching. He possesses excellent communication skills and the way he teaches makes the student want to fully participate. Outstanding job, Professor Rempt.

He is a funny guy. You read short interesting stories. Nothing boring. You watch a movie and write a paper about it. He is easy going. This is the only English class I've ever enjoyed. He is so sweet it makes him cute:)

Took him for a Horror Lit class. Very funny, very interesting, but can confuse the subject on occasion. Two papers, quote journals for all texts and of course the final essay was the entire workload. Take him if you can, an easy A. He reads these btw! Next time lets see the Horta, Mr Rempt.

Best Damn Teacher Period!!! He is the funniest man on earth who can make anybody laugh instantly. When you go to his class, it seems like a comedian is teachin the class. His work is so easy it is impossible to fail. When he teaches you about a subject he makes you understand it with ease. Best Damn Teacher in the world.

hes aight. i wouldnt say this was an easy class. yea hes funny but hes not very organized. we didnt do much in the beginning but when the semester was almost over he had us write all these papers and didnt have much time coz he waited till the last minute.

Wildly entertaining course. Allows a great deal of freedom for assignments. Adaptive. Organization may be lacking at times, but that is made up for with clear and insightful suggestions for short stories and poems. Charismatic comedian wielding constructive criticism. Fellow students also provide a great deal of help. Highly recommended.

HILARIOUS TEACHER. He really knows his stuff and offers wonderful costructive criticism to you stories. I highly reccomend him. If you reall want to learn and become a much better writer, tke his class(es). A+++++

Obviously, the funniest teacher at SWC. The most important thing is that you participate in discussions at least a few times each class, do not take him if you are shy. Going to class felt like hanging out with a bunch of friends, I had a great time.

Easily the best professor I've had at SWC, very witty and hilarious. I actually looked forward to attending his class. His teaching methods are highly democratic and practical. I wouldn't think twice about recommending his class to anyone remotely interested in English Lit.

Rempt is a celebrity. He taught me more about God in a class than 12 years of catholic school. sometimes i think he is God.

I have been at SDSU for two semesters now, and after taking 5 different English professors (and 10 professors total) I have to say that there is no one like Mr. Rempt. In general I have found the SWC professors to be much better teachers over all. Take him if you get the chance. He is so good, I wish I could write this in Klingon.

It's true he's not the most organized, but he really cares, and if you take the time to actually talk to him, you'll get great feedback. I think the "average A" student just didn't try. I did, and I got an A.

AWESOME teacher! funny as hell, nice guy, inciteful discussions. i didnt think he was hard at all (and im a slacker), he'll pass u if he knows u get the general idea. a lot of people on this site have called him disorganized, but his all lessons have structure, even if he doesnt come with a speech prepared. oh and he says "ewww!" a lot :P

Great teacher, I loved writing for his class. He's extremely cool,helpful,understanding and the books he chooses are very very interesting. I never missed any classes because he's really funny in a unique way. totally loved english because of him and improved my writing a looooot!!

I hate writing essays but he made this class SO FUN & EASY! it was the only class i looked forward going to! about 1 essay per month, 3 reading books (comic-book style) VERY INTERESTING & funny! Final was a piece of cake. Very clear instructions & i loved the "ENG 116 IDOL!" sessions! He's the ULTIMATE ENG TEACHER! trust me, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Andrew's the man. He's very funny and crazy. No need to buy 3 or 4 textbooks, just 1 textbook, and it s about 6 dlls! anyways there's alot of reading and writing but very easy and funny. youll never find a guy like him at swc. his class is very dinamic, you laugh a lot but learn a lot.

The best teacher I have ever had! He really knows the material well and helps you to understand it. There's really no homework except doing the reading. The only graded work are two midterns and a final which are open-book open-note in-class essays. He's extremely nice, funny, makes the class interesting and is very accommidating if you miss class.

HE IS THE MAN. Aside from his awesome sense of humor, he really does know what he's talking about and if you have any questions for him he gives great feedback. He loves english and he's awesome at teaching it.

He's the master! Hes cool and extremely funny! English 116 was beyond great, especially with the use of graphic novels. We only got around to reading Batman, Watchmen and I believe a bit on MAUS. He really does help you get straight to the point about your thesis/Introduction and how to support your evidence. His grading policy is fantastic!

Online course: The only communication between the two of us was through e-mail or the discussion boards, but I found him to be a cool and humble person. Ask him for help and advice because he truly cares and wants his students to develop their ideas and thesis. He grades with constructive criticism and is very lenient with grading.

Great class. We read 3 books, and wrote a few papers. I received an A. The class isn't too demanding if you are a good writer. A big plus is that the readings are actually interesting. Prof Rempt makes class very fun, has a real passion for comics and life in general. Strongly suggest you take any of his classes!

Great class and a fantastix teahcer. He is always there to help and gives a very small amount of assignments. He really teaches you how to develop your writing and actually cares about the students. Highly reccommend this teacher.
