By far, one of the greatest teachers at the college. Very helpful and attentive. Makes random but funny comments throughout the class. A short paper based on your own perspective is issued every week but they are easy. No tests so far.. Very lenient on due dates if you just talk to him beforehand. I wish he could teach all of my classes..

Andy is pretty good professor, is not an hard grader but he does want to see your writing improve, other than thay he is funny and if you are lucky, you get to see movies in his class, his final was clear and easy! Take him if u can highlu recommended

I have mixed feelings. He is clearly competent and passionate but sometimes his class lacks purpose. So much time was wasted in this class. He's a smart dude though, good writer, good feedback on work. I'd recommend if you don't mind a class with a quirky proff with unorthodox methods and a lot of timewasting on the side. He cares for his students and their potential as writers. He is very understanding and gives us many opportunities to improve our grades.

I expected to hate this class because my ENG 101 experience was not a good one. But seriously TAKE HIM! He is so helpful and is a really nice and funny professor. Easy A! There is no midterm and no final, well the final is just show up to class that's it. There are a few writing assignments online but they're really short and easy to do. NO TEXTBOOK REQUIRED.

Professor Andy is a funny quirky guy. He tries his best to make class interesting. His assignments are amazing and they're short! He really likes to put people's writings from assignments up on the board and read them in front of the class. He's helpful and kind. He just wants his students to become better writers. He is a great teacher! There is one 10-page paper about whatever you want and you work on it together in class throughout the semester. He is very helpful and funny. He gives very small assignments in class that you have to submit through BlackBoard. Overall, very easy and fun class!

No reason to give this professor a bad review. The due dates for papers are online at least two weeks ahead of time and he allows you to hand in missed papers at the end of semester. His class doesn't have a clear outline, but after all it's a creative writing class. He gives good feedback and he is a nice person and very fair grader.

great professor i took him for english 201 and even though it feels like its a free period, he makes you work on fun assignments. all you need to do is pay attention, do what he asks for and make an outstanding portfolio, great class and awesome lectures. he even plays music to get you started on the class work

This class is oriented towards completing one 8-10 pages research paper. Most of the assignments are in preparation for the final product (paper). Grading is pretty lenient and professor provides feedback on every assignment. He encourages more of interesting and fun ideas.

Had him for ENG 201, it's all writing assignments but most of them aren't long and he tries to make them fun. You submit the assignments on blackboard he puts a deadline but he isn't strict about it and he accepts late work without taking off points. He goes over the assignments in class and gives examples. Highly recommend

Great English Professor to have during your first year. The work he gives is not too difficult to complete. He does give writing assignments but none of them are difficult to the point where you are pulling out your hair. He constantly gives feedback and always wants you to elevate your work. I would definitely take him again for ENG201!

I took this course in fall. It's prob the most easiest class you could take in college-EASY A!! He wants to put no pressure on students, gives a few writing assignments but nothing too big. I recommend him, his class was def a breeze.. I mean we literally took naps, ate candy, the 'final' was just to eat donuts. He's really lenient and fun!

He is a witty person, he gave a lot of small assignments throughout the course and he was the only professor who made us do things like amazon reviews and cover letters but it was still annoying but no heavy papers and heavy assignments

Professor Selsberg makes the class so interesting and fun! Homeworks are based on your own creative mindset. He adapts what can help us in the future! No exams, and quizzes. However, there is a lot of assignments, but they are fun to complete! He is hilarious and engages the class. Participation matters, you will be sharing your assignment in class

The best Professor I have ever taken. Up until Professor Selsberg, I was withdrawing from all my English classes. He made it fun and enjoyable.
