Despite the smiley, I don't think I can recommend Dr. Slap. He is clear and helpful, but his grading seems arbitrary. The grades don't seem to truly measure what one knows or produces. A lot of hoops to jump through, and succesfully jumping through them seems to be a thing of luck rather than skill.

It's a run of the mill Gen-Ed class. He has a lot of quizzes. However, he takes them all from an online test bank so look them up. His essays are a pain, but if you put down the generic stuff from the readings he will give you a decent grade. The tests are hard. He doesn't lecture well, so hope for a C and the quizzes and essays will pad your grade

Dr. Slap is very knowledgeable in the field of History and Historical Methods. He is a very tough grader on the writing assignments. Show up to class every day and get ready to read! If you do not put forth serious effort in this class I promise you it won't end well!

The essays in class are not bad, there are only 4 and he drops the lowest grade. He is easy to talk to and will answer any questions thoroughly, as well as has a semester long opportunity for extra credit.

For your online course, you'll use MindTap. The assignments aren't due until the end of each quarter, but there are way too many. One assignment takes about 30-45 minutes and there are at least 2 assignments per chapter, plus a quiz. He also makes you write an essay at the end of each quarter. He grades them seriously and won't offer bonus points.

He is a great professor I took him online for two separate classes. You work at your own pace. Make sure to do the paper about yourself on the syllabus because he adds 2% onto your final grade. He cares about your grades and is there to help if you need him. You have a ton of assignments so if you do bad on one or two assigments you can make it up.

Dr. Slap's classes are not an easy A, but if you're really interested in history, I think that's a good thing. He clearly puts a lot of work into his lectures and presentations. And even though he assigns a lot of readings, they're good books. He can seem a bit nervous/awkward in class sometimes, but is generally a really nice guy. Recommend.
