Great professor. Genuinely cares about each student and about teaching. Explains difficult concepts well in his lectures. Course is very fair with projects and tests. Would definitely take this professor again.

This guy is by far one of the best teachers at TMHS and Lone Star! Everything from the way he teaches to the way his room looks appealed greatly to me as a student, and although there may have been some hard material here and there, it was still a really fun class!

He teaches in a way that makes the class super engaging from unit lessons to roundtable discussions. He interacts with a lot of the students and connects with them in a great way to make sure you understand the material well.

Mr. White is a wonderful professor; however, I will say that the class was very lecture heavy and many times Mr.White would get off track. Other then that he was very good at explaining certain concepts and had many tutorials you can go to in case you needed extra help! Also there are a lot of public reading, be prepared!

I took DC Economics knowing it would be a tougher class. I was worried about the teacher, work, etc. I never would have thought I would have the best teacher I have had through my 12 years of school in a class like that. Mr. White is a caring, inspiring, devoted, and smart teacher. He is truly the sole reason I looked forward to that class.

Mr. White is truly one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is caring, willing to listen, and always ensures we are successful in his class. The class itself can be challenging at times; however, Mr. White always tries to make the harder concepts understandable and does an extremely good job of simplifying them down.

He went over difficult information really clearly and made sure that we understood the content before the test. He was good about providing reviews before the test so we would be able to study what was going to show up.

Very engaging with lectures, assignments are light which allow for work in other classes, tests are fairly easy, and he teaches well. On top of this he is available outside of class most of the time and his feedback/help is very useful.

Lectures were great, and the presentations were uploaded for students to access after which is a life saver if you can't make it to class everyday.

Mr. White's lectures are amazing and he always makes \clarifications whenever a student asks a question, no matter how many times it has been asked. All of his assignments are relevant (although his stories stray from economics, the environment is still educational) and incredibly manageable.

Mr. White is fantastic ! He teaches amazingly well and does not assign a lot of homework. The tests are not the easiest however the super eazy projects make up for this. As long as you study the the many notes and videos that are posted you will have no problem in this class.

I had his for first period and no matter how tired I was it was easy to stay awake with his teaching. He does trivia questions to start the class and always kept us involved.

GREAT teacher! His lectures are so entertaining and understandable. I like how he uploads his lecture videos online for students who missed lectures or those who need to go back and study. Tutoring is also always available and he provides free coffee.

Mr. White is super knowledgeable in all things economics, and his lectures will show that. They will be lengthy, but every bit of information you could ever need will be taught in a way that is easy to understand. Outside of class, he responds to emails rather quick, and is readily available before and after classes to help you on whatever.

This class is hard but he made it easier

I really enjoyed taking econ with Mr. White. I was honestly nervous to take it, but Mr. White is such a chill guy. He was very accessible outside of class to answer questions and group projects are graded individually. The class is lecture heavy. We also did some very interactive activities with candy which as a visual learner I really appreciated.

Subject material was most certainly difficult, but Mr. White made the class so fun! He is an AMAZING professor! I learned not only macroeconomics, but also gained knowledge outside of macro with the daily trivias! He cares for you as a student and is open to talk to about anything after classes (either macro econ or a funny/ relatable tik tok)!

It was an easy class, however there was a good amount of homework and reading material in a week.

Took this class during summer semester. Fast paced class, but doable even when working full time. Online textbook with smart book assignments and homework, usually multiple chapters and assignments a week. 3 proctored exams and one optional final exam. He always stressed that you could reach out to him with questions. I would take his class again.

Took his class over the summer and was very easy. Learning is done by reading the textbook. There are lots of grades but they're pretty much completion grades that you can get all 100s on, other than exams of course. Exams were not difficult and Professor White always posted exactly what was going to be on the exam so you can study to the exam.

He was very supportive and helped us when a student was struggling. i always enjoyed his class due to the energy that Mr.White provided.

Cares about the success of his students and creates a fun learning environment each day that really makes everyone look forward to the class. Lectures a lot, but you have the freedom to take as many notes or as little as you want to. Any work material was very straightforward and easy to understand directions. 75% of the class work was online.

Great class and loved the teaching style. I love the energy when lecturing and the occasional joke while still having great quality teaching. He had great activities that were entertaining and educational. Also a fun person to talk to with lots of fun interests, it was always fun to talk to him about football, sports, etc.

Is extremely open and clear about grading and the kind of standard you are supposed to meet. Mr. White was an amazing Economics teacher, I enjoyed his class a lot. I'm not super interested in this topic, however, Mr.White made it fun and I do feel like I learned a lot more than I would've with another teacher. He is passionate about his job and I admire that.

Very clear in lectures and is great with taking away his own time to help others learn a topic. Despite being a moderately challenging class, I think he did a great job with explaining things to a level that really makes sense.

The most valuable thing that I learned this semester is how to use my money and when to use my money. I intend to be financially responsible. My favorite unit was unit 6 because it is easy and my least favorite is unit 4 because it was the hardest. My favorite thing was the discussion boards because it was different but beneficial.

The class is easy. Weekly: Smartbooks (1hr - 3hrs), 1 Bonus, and 1 HW. Semester: 5 Discussion Posts, 3 Un-proctored exams, and a final (Bonus - Replace the lowest test). Only downside is that your grade is shown last month. Overall just do your work, actually read, and do some practice problems from the book and this entire class is a cakewalk.

Real nice guy who always tries to create the most friendly type of learning environment. If you ever struggle with anything in the class, just ask for help as he gives it and more; so great tutoring sessions if you struggled to retain the information from the lectures.

He is a great teacher and does many things like prizes, which are great for encouraging participation. The only problem I had with him was that he sometimes went off-topic on random tangents for too long, and sometimes he talks too much before starting a lecture.

He will help you as much as you need and all you have to do is ask him. If you take his class you will have to study no matter how smart you are. Easiest Econ Class of my life

Gives great lectures that are very informative. Homework is due at the same time every week, making it easy to remember. Discussions every Friday to break up lectures and tests that allowed the class to discuss various topics. Overall, one of my favorite classes, very well taught, and overall just an interesting class.

He's very excited about the subject he's teaching and you can tell during his lectures.

He is very engaged in lessons and there were very little times I was bored. He cares about every student's grades and offers many options for grade improvement. As long as you turn your work in on time, it is very difficult to fail. Materials to review for tests actually reflect the test and the content in pretty straightforward.

Mr. White's teaching style is very engaging, he really tries to get his students involved and understand what he's trying to teach. It's evident that he is passionate in what he does and he loves doing it.

This professor knows going succeed if you put in the effort. he never shamed you for getting the wrong answer, but rather tries to help. You understand how to get to the right answer me and my friend would always say after to do worksheets and he was always helpful with the worksheets and just fun to talk to in general.
