I took her for both national and texas gov't. She's really helpful and brilliant! Her powerpoints and quizzes are a big help in the test and she might intimidate you with the book at first but really all you need are the lectures and online quizzes. GREAT TEACHER!

This teacher is not rude she is very helpful in class and she will keep the class interesting by bring real life situation. As long as you attend class, take notes, read the book, and study the online quizzes. I promise you will make an A. A bunch of extra credit Good teacher hands down for the time shes been teaching

Did an online class. Constantly kept in contact with students and responded to comments made not only in discussion boards, but also on assignments that were graded. Class pace was well done. Not too much work, but just enough to get you to understand government.

Her online class has a summary for each chapter, four assignments, four actual discussion boards, and you can take the quizzes multiple times. It is not a "gimmie" class but there is not a discussion board every week. Some weeks we would just have a quiz and that is it. Who ever wrote the post below is not honest.

I have always been the student that hates history, gov, etc. however taking mrs.ramon's class was very interesting! she reviews before each test, gives plenty of extra credit, listens to all questions and opinions, very helpful, considerate about everyone knowing the material. nice, funny,knows her stuff! Ms. Ramon's GOVT classes (2305 & 2306) are the perfect introductory Internet class. If you are thinking about taking Internet classes, these will determine if you are ready for others as her classes provide the perfect balance between work vs. ease of class. If you do the assignments, you will pass and she always responds promptly to messages.

Great professor. She knows her stuff when it comes to government. If you do your assignments and take advantage of the extra credit, you will get a good grade in this class. You will also know more about government. I did not know much, but thanks to Ms. Ramon I have become interested in government. This is the professor to take.

Professor Ramon is great! She is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and helpful. Although her assignments are challenging, a student will definitely have a greater understanding of government and public policy. If you have the chance, take her class!

I would recommend her if you are not crazy about Govt! She expects her students to love Govt. as much as she does and gets offended if your not interested. I hated her class because she gives too much information that has nothing to do with the exams! She does give out reviews and briefly reviews before exams, but don't let her get her off topic!!

Great Professor. Really cares about Government and you knowing it as well as understanding it. Took her online in a mini-mester and she did an excellent job of organizing the course. I was able to complete all assignments at a good pace and did well in the course "A". Study the chapter power-points and summary/review and you should be fine.

Professor Ramon is outstanding. She's very energetic, and obviously cares about government a lot. She really involves the class in discussions, which unfortunately can get discussions pretty far off-course. This is only minor, and if you participate (or listen to her pre-test reviews) her tests are a breeze.

If you don't pass her tests I don't know what's wrong with you. Her reviews are very helpful I just took a test without studying and missing 3 days and still made a B+. Once again her reviews are very helpful and you only have two assignments and some quizzes. She gives extra credit and to be honest I don't think she grades hard. I was 1 point away from making an A last semester and she gave it!

BEST GOVERNMENT PROFESSOR AT MCC. I took her for Texas Government and wish I had of taken her from National Government. She explains material well and really wants the best for her students. 3 tests; 2 writing assignments; 3 mini online quizzes, and a final. She also offers lots of bonus points. I loved Prof Ramon's messages. She was always responsive and helpful. She did require lots of work in a short amount of time but that is a summer class. Her class was organized and she was an easy grader. Lets you take the quizzes over and over again.

I really liked this class, but it was also one of the toughest I've taken. There are 3 pretty difficult assignments and 4 exams which are very easy if you study the review. Also, before the tests, she goes over it question by question which is EXTREMELY helpful. She sometimes gets off-topic, but it's because she is so enthusiastic about government.

Ramon is super friendly and helpful! She's a wonderful teacher who's passionate about her subject and loves to explain how Texas government works. I wouldn't say the class is "easy" but her enthusiasm definitely makes the material easier to learn and remember.

It's simple. Read, take quizzes, and finish discussion boards. You'll have to read about 2 chapters a week to be on track. Definitely a more time consuming class. I would definitely take it again, though. Very informational and interesting.

Awesome teacher! Very enthusiastic about the topics she teaches, and have bundles of energy during lectures. Tells you exactly what to study for on tests, super easy as long as you listened in class and did your readings.

The lectures are incredibly interesting, but make sure you read the chapters as class participation is expected. Only had 2 assignments all semester, but they were long essay questions. Will definitely take again for Texas Government.

Prof. Ramon is very passionate about government and it shows. I have taken her twice now and really enjoy her. This semester, we took 6 reading quizzes and she dropped your lowest one. She gives a lot of extra credit. She is there for questions. And, she started doing test reviews on Fridays, which are SO helpful!

She is absolutely AMAZING! DO NOT SKIP. . TESTS ARE FROM THE LECTURE NOTES. There are only two assignment, but they need your best effort. She is the most DYNAMIC professor i have ever had. She reviews the test in class and then you take the test. She gives you lots of chances for extra credit. Highly recommended!!

(I took this course online) I really enjoyed this class and this professor. I would take her again in an instant. Lots of reading and a test or DB every week but they were straight from the material and not that time consuming. Read the chapter and do the work on time and you are golden.

Texas Gov't 2306Great lectures! She doesn't make it unnecessarily hard like most professors. Teaches you what you have to learn while making it interesting. Not a hard class at all. I could've easily gotten an A had I studied a little more. Extra Credit save lives!

Really sweet professor! Lots of reading and only two assignments. She gives a lot of extra credit which helps. Tests are not too complicated because she goes over them right before they are taken!

The class is pretty straight forward, 2 major assignments (pretty easy) and 4 tests not including final. Ramon is very PASSIONATE about the course and can answer pretty much anything you ask. She does talk up until the class time is up but its very informational. GREAT professor, YOU'LL PASS!! Plus EXTRA CREDIT available.

Professor Ramon's class wasn't boring, but wasn't super fun either. Either way, she is very passionate and had me laughing a lot. Lectures go till the last minute and she talks super fast, but it is crucial for doing good on the test. She goes over the test before you take it, so arrive on time and listen! It is how I passed!

She relies on you reading the required articles/chapters, but you can pass through just lectures if you pay attention. Great class. Prof. Ramon is interested in students learning the material. You do need the book. There are weekly quizzes on the chapters and you get multiple attempts. There are 3 writing assignments throughout the class. Be sure to read her instructions and follow them carefully to get a good grade.

Very good lecturer. However, she is a bit erratic in her lectures and jumps around from topic to topic. Will help all of her students with tests. Took online Texas Govt. Not too hard. There are a couple papers that are not hard at all. Discussion boards are easy. Exams are fine, just study a little bit. It is not hard to make an A in this class. You do need to read the textbook some to fully understand the material. It makes you actually interested though.

I currently have this professor, and she is amazing! Very passionate. Her reviews are lengthy, but they make certain all the material is covered. She does not just cover all the boring material in the book. She makes it relate to the real world. Love her passion. Tests are not that bad because she reviews them right before you take them!

Ms. Ramon is very passionate about government and you can tell just by the way she teaches in class. There are some quizzes online and some papers that arent too difficult. She always kept my attention in lectures because she is very spastic. The paper review she gives is long but she goes over the tests and says the answers before you take it.

This class was very easy to receive an A in as long as you turned in all of your work and did exceptionally well on most of the tests. I would easily choose to have her as a professor again.
