Professor Galloway is a great US history teacher. Not only is he a great teacher, Galloway guides our class to success with his great use of examples, lecturing strategies, and sense of humor. Galloway deserves to be promoted to the next level as he has worked for it for many years.

Galloway is super fun and he definitely wants you to succeed. He cares about student success and to show it he does things like scheduling the midterm and papers towards the beginning of the semester so you aren't trying to cram it all in at the same time as your other classes. Good guy!

The class is front heavy, we wrote two papers before the midterm and then the rest of the class was just the weekly quizzes. His grading process gives a lot of room for extra credit, there's honestly no excuse to not get an A. If you show up to class, the lectures are easy to listen to and he will give you exactly what to study for quizzes.

Overall a good professor. He tries his best to make the class as easy as possible. Hes very enthusiastic during his lectures and cracks several jokes. He assigns minimal straightforward assignments making it pretty difficult to fail the class. I wouldnt recommend that you buy the textbook but I would recommend Galloway as your professor.

You have a midterm and 2 papers in the beginning but halfway the semester you only do weekly quizzes, which he'll let you know what you need to know for them. It's only 4 questions so if you get 2 questions incorrect on a quiz, you failing. Beware of that if you want to take him. Overall great guy, jokes a lot, and enthusiastic about history!

Professor Galloway is a VERY charismatic person and brings that to each and every lecture that he gives. The class is structured to be a forgiving course so long as you come to every class and not sit on your phone for the whole lecture. Everyday he has a new dad joke to tell the class sometimes more than one. 10/10 would recommend

Professor Galloway is hands down one of the best at Collin. He always greets the class with a daily joke and it helps a lot! He also cares about your grades and even gives advice in class regarding school and motivates you to do your best. Easy A if you study for quizzes and do the hw, otherwise youll struggle (like I did since I slacked off).

Go to class & take notes, you will pass the class. He tells you what you need for the quizzes (4 ?'s) & tests & the papers are easy. After 10 quizzes they are extra credit! I loved the lecture style. People who didn't like his class were disruptive & immature. He's too easy going not to love him! I actually learned history for the first time ever!

I had a fantastic time in this class. I haven't had this much enjoyment learning in quite some time. Professor Galloway made the lectures super easy to understand and stay focused on. You can tell he wants all his students to succeed, but he doesn't take it easy on you and give you a grade you didn't earn. I wish I could take more courses with him.

Class is lecture based. Everyone who shows up and takes good notes will have no problems getting an a or AB in the class. As long as you are aware that you're going to have quizzes that add up to 40% of your grade

Has very easy 4 point quizzes every week. Two exams. Whatever he mentions on the exam review, the exact same thing shows up on the exam. Gave my class 4 extra quizzes for extra credit. Highly recommend. Easy A as long as you focus on the quizzes. Greets you every morning with a dad joke, making a 2-hour class in the summer bearable.

Most fun history class Ive ever had! Professor Galloway is fun and he has a way of making his lectures entertaining and keeping the students engaged. He gives really easy quizzes with 4 qs and the last four quizzes we took were all extra credit! Lots of opportunities to get an A in this class. 13/10 would take again!

Great lectures! He is passionate about history. Knowledgeable. Engages everyone throughout his lecture. Pay attention! Wrapping up a Summer 2 course with him, 5 Saturdays of 8 hour days and it has been enjoyable. Gave us quizzes at the end of each class, had us do a critical writing paper and his two exams. Great Experience. Be ready to take notes!

Professor Galloway is an amazing teacher. He explains the lectures well and makes sure the students understand. He is also super friendly and very approachable. I got an A in his class and I only had to study for his quizzes, submit one paper, and take two written tests. He gives a study guide and lets you know what to expect. Take his class!!!!!!!

This man is great! I took him for a full semester course for 1301 and loved him so much decided to do an express class for his 1302 and it was still amazing. Hes so passionate about history and gets you involved as well. He makes you work for the grade you get but its easily doable if you want a good grade. I recommend him 100%

HAY IN THE HAY HAY!!! Amazing professor you will not go wrong on choosing him. Every positive comment that was said is 100% true. His lectures are interesting and a fair grader. I took him as an Express course and you had a quiz for every chapter that you finished. No bad things to say about him. He gives you everything that you need to study.

EXPRESS CLASS! A show you wont want to miss (Sit up front). Entertaining, Engaging, Informative. He relates topics to the class by including everyone. You WILL need a study group (Don't try to be a lone ranger). Many life lessons included for free. -Born to be alive ;)

I took the express class and barley had to do anything outside of class. Just show up and pay attention to lecture. There is a quiz everyday but he tells you the material you need to study. Really good professor you will actually learn something. Definitely would recommend.

Great professor. Makes history INTERESTING and FUN. Took 3 week express course and had quizzes for each section, some were bonus points. He prepares you well for the quizzes and exams. Quizzes, midterm, and final all from his PowerPoints and lectures. LISTEN TO HIM and you will do great.

As a dual credit student in high school, my experience in the class was very good. This is because Proffesor Galloway made a boring subject like US History an interesting thing to learn by adding his own funny comments. All in all Proffesor Galloway was a great teacher and I would definently suggest students to take his class.

This guy is an amazing professor. Always tells good jokes to lighten up the beginning of class. Very graceful grader and when you have quizzes/exams you are well prepared for it before you take it. Its very simple, you show up you pass And if you dont you fail. He makes it your choice to pass or fail

Professor Galloway is a very good professor. He does have a lot of lectures, but he throws in his sense of humor to keep his students entertained. He is an easy grader, but the quizzes are tricky if you dont study or pay attention in class. He gives many extra credit points in the quizzes and exams. Overall I think Galloway is a great choice.

Great professor by far my most favorite class of the whole year. He tells funny jokes and the lectures arent boring because he tells us some interesting life lessons too. Im stoked to have him next semester, easy grader too.

He likes what he teaches because he's good at it. Overall its a pretty easy class. You have a quiz every week or so (only 5 questions) and he always tells you what you need to review before. Everything is clear when it comes to what he's grading for, and he shows slides everyday that you just listen to and write what you find most important.

Andrew Galloway is an awesome professor! We do lectures every class period so make sure to show up as much as possible. After each lecture there is a quiz with 4 questions that are usually pretty easy. There is no way to access the notes that you missed so try to have people send them to you. He is really good at preparing you for the tests/quizzes

Amazing! One of the best professors I have ever had. If you do what he says you will get an easy A. Make sure you study for your quizzes, they add up quickly! Even though attendance isn't mandatory, you will be lost on essays and quizzes if you skip too much. The class is mostly lectures, but Galloway is not boring! 11/10 would recommend Galloway.

Prof. Galloway is one of the very few teachers who live and breathe what they teach. The man absolutely loves history and shows it through his ability to lecture and give broken down meanings of events that might come complicated to most. You WON'T leave the classroom each day without having had a chuckle or two from his infinite # of jokes.

A big part of the class is graded on ten 4 question quizzes. Its scary at first, but if you do well on the 2 essays and the midterm/final, you will get a good grade. He also gives you a couple quizzes after the first 10 that are only bonus points. During his lectures he throws in random jokes that are usually pretty cheesy, but keep it fun

Professor Galloway is a good teacher and gives a lot of information during his lectures, but his quizzes are only 4 questions so if you get more than one wrong you'll fail. Professor Galloway is a passionate and animated teacher and lecturer. Its a fast paced class in regards to content but the professor works with you and helps you out. There are many opportunities for extra credit and review for quizzes and exams that are very helpful. I enjoyed every class.

He was one of the best professors I've ever had, he was amazing at explaining things in terms we could all understand. He went fast so you had to keep up but was very understanding if you asked him to slow down or stop for a second. He was also very funny that made the class very enjoyable.

I was failing for a few weeks then ended up with almost a 100. His lectures are very interesting and you will learn lots. He's also hilarious, so you are guaranteed a good time in class.

Professor Galloway will make you laugh every day in class. The bare minimum of homework is reading a passage and answering two questions. In class, he will go over powerpoints, and all you have to do is take notes. If you want an easy A+, I recommend taking this course.

Professor Galloway's class is very interesting, easy, but can learn a lot things. cCass Lecture is heavy and important. There are only a few small quizzes each week (each quiz has only a few questions), a midterm and a final (plenty of time is given), and an essay to write. His quiz and exam are based on his lecture (so take notes was important).

Prof Galloway brings a lot of fun and life to history. He enjoys the subject and has a passion for teaching it correctly. Very heavy textbook reading and he offers recorded lectures, which is nice for an online class. They are fairly long I feel, but not much longer than what he would give in an in-person class. Gives good feedback and connects.

He is pretty funny, lots of lectures, but they are pretty interesting. Lots of extra credit so you probably won't fail as long as you take up the extra credit opportunities.

Galloway is the funniest, most interesting teacher I've ever had. He makes the lectures exciting, and makes learning about history very fun! (I love the x-men references he makes when teaching) Not to mention, he tells us EXACTLY what we need to study for, and is also very generous when grading papers. This professor has to be one of my favorites, even if he is my first one. His lectures are always easy to understand and he gives the topics we need to study for future quizzes and exams.

At first, he may seem to be a little rude, but he really is a good person and is trying his best. He's also quite funny, and seems very passionate about his job. His lectures, although long, are entertaining to listen to, which makes the learning process easier. He tells students exactly what they need to know for every single assignment.

Let me keep it simple at the start: If you could take Mr Galloway, Take him. Why? It is so hard to fail this class. To be more specific, you should and will be getting atleast at least 85%. He gives you two letter grades worth of extra credit. We took a quiz every class, but he tells you exactly what to prepare for. He also gives hints for them.

Mr Galloway loves the Texas Longhorns and loves history. His lectures are very thorough, and he finds a way to make the students stay engaged. He also likes to tell jokes.

Had him for Dual Credit. His lectures were fun and engaging. Towards the end of the year he was removed as the professor by my high school but he remained a professor for Collin. We got a new professor for the last couple weeks. The rumors of the reason as to why he was no longer teaching at the high school were very bad, but they were just rumors
