I had him for Trig a while ago. He is a great teacher. He is very organized. If you need extra help you can go to his office hours. Need more teachers like him. Take him, you'll like his class.

I had him for Geometry a while back, he is very cool and easy to learn from, I look forward to taking his Trigonometry class

If you dont like Math, Mr. Robles is the best professor to take because he makes learning so much fun. Just as long as you do all your homework and do well on the Midterm and Final you'll do just fine. By the way, the final is a written exam.

I have taken 5 semesters with this teacher starting from math-52. He is a Fantastic teacher and one-of-a-kind. I don't think i will ever find a teacher as enthuisiastic like Robles. Unfortunately, I am finished with my all my math courses, but i defietly recommend Robles for any subject, including math!..."You are one-of-a-kind!"

Math comes as a very difficult subject for me. After taking his class I learned so much. I wish I would have taken him earlier. Wants his students to master the material, anytime a student has a question just ask. He is not the type of professor that makes you look stupid for not understanding the material being taught. AWESOME instuctor.

Loved Mr.Robles and loved this class. Robles is an awesome teacher. Everyone should take him. He is helpful and really enjoys teaching math. Math-25 gives a little of everything (alg, geometery, stats)so it's great if you don't like to dwell on one subject all semester. Thanks to Mr. Robles for making the Fall Semester great!

Mr.Robles is amazing! I've always HATED math, and he is the ONLY teacher I've had that made it click for me. I still HATE math, but it's tolerable with Mr.Robles. He is so passionate about you actually UNDERSTANDING the material, he'll take a whole class period just answering your questions. AMAZING teacher, I recommend him to EVERYONE!

Robles is an amazing teacher. He presents material in a way so that even if math ISNT your major, you can apply it to what you'll be doing. Ive always hated math, and I expected to hate his class too, but he completely changed my views. He also presents information so that YOU can choose to study it or to screw around and not learn it. VERY EASY , excellent teacher, extremely helpful and reasonable. He does not care you if do not go to class, he takes late homework and quizzes! at no cost, and we always do everything ( hw and quizzes) in groups!!!! all take home quizzes or in class, in group quizzes, gives study guides for examns , EASY EASY EASY

Mr. Robles is the prime example of how a teacher SHOULD BE. I'm currently in his class and ENJOY attending it. Whoever says they don't learn anything from him are retards. He's one of the few who actually apply the math to the real world. Funny, upbeat, happy everyday. Isn't strict with attendance (as it should be in college). Extremely helpful!A+

One of the easiest teachers I have had at RCC. Very easy to talk to, doesn't care for attendance, and does not take off points for late work. In fact, you can turn in late on the last day of class. I loved when he had us do our own survey at the end of the semester. It was fun and insightful. You must take him, he's an easy A!

This guy will utilize your graphing calculator so much, you'll be blown away by how much it can really do. He's one of those teachers who don't understand why they should force you to memorize dozens and dozens of formulas, when you could just look it up. Instead he wants you to understand the application of statistics, not just memorizing Greek.

Mr. Robles is one of the best math teachers at Riverside Community College. He is highly respected and professional. His knowledge of mathematics surpasses his pay grade. He demystifies math so a commoner can understand it. He is the reason why I switched from African American studies to Mathematics, with an emphasis in arithmetic.

If he is teaching this class--TAKE IT! He is easy to understand, helpful and there is no homework. I can't say enough about Robles. If you hate math and have anxiety about taking math he is the professor for you. If he isn't teaching Math 12, take Math 5 with him. You won't regret it!

Great teacher. Some teachers are bad at teaching math but he is not. I thought I would have a hard time in calculus but it;s very easy, I got an A. Tests are pretty easy. He goes over the material at a fast rate but he makes it real understandable. Doesn't use the book at all, I think the book makes everything confusing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He is a GREAT teacher, while teaching the math lesson, he give you a brief history of the math, where it came from and etc. He lets students use calculators and in fact teaches us how (unlike other teachers who NEVER let us use calculators) light easy hw, good review EASY A if you do all the hw and go to class + pay attention. I never got bored!

He is one of my favorite teachers of all time. He gives you real world applications for statistics. Quizzes/Assignments can be done together, notes can be used on tests, all calculator work. Don't miss class though, he teaches differently than the book, trying to learn from the book will be much harder. Textbook is unnecessary if you attend class.

Gives you real life applications for what you're learning, helps you understand statistics and really tries to get you feeling as passionate about it as himself. He's got a cheeseball smile that makes you laugh! If you go to class you won't need the book (homework is optional) and the calculator is a must (but you can borrow one from him). Easy A!

Really cool professor! He is very articulate and helps students with their homeworks (e.g. answer some problems in class)..I took his Calculus, Short Course class. we used the graphing calculator all the time as well as the textbook.

professor robles really made me fall in love with math again, he was really helpful and understanding, and not to mention entertaining. i took a compressed 6week course and had to be there ovr 3 hours a day and it really flew by, im really going to miss him next session =(

Best math teacher at Norco community college, I've taken three classes with this guy and received As in all of them, even in Algebra when I was terrible in. He explains everything clearly and is very helpful, he will go over quizzes if you bring them to his office during his office hours, he will show you example problems etc.

I had him for Fall and he is such a great teacher!! There are some group assignments and take home quizzes. He explains everything very well and if you do not understand, he is willing to help. AMAZING TEACHER I RECOMMEND :)

This is by far THE BEST STATS instructor at Norco College! All others pale in comparison. He knows his stuff, and can work the graphing calc. In class and take home quizzes were easy to comprehend. Anyone receiving a B just didn't attend class or were asleep! This class gave me a new opinion about math instructors.

Prof. Robles is an easy and likely caring teacher. I had him for MAT-1A and that was an easy class. He teaches math the right way, which is step by step easy instructions on how to do a section properly. He also too teaches visually, which is a plus in my book. Except on the final, he didn't show up, and instead we had a random named Prof. Rey.

His class is a perfect. You learn everything you need to know. Easily got an A. He's totally helpful. And has great taste in music.

Super easy class, very forgiving tests and allows a cheat sheet. Math 1B is supposed to be hard, so I went out of my way to have him. He is a good teacher and an all around nice guy. If you're a math or engineering major, the course might not be rigorous enough to prepare you.

Great prof., easy to understand the material, even if it's the hardest math course outta the 3 CALC series. Test weren't as complicated as I thought they would be. As others have said, my not prepare students fully for higher level classes. This is an easy enough class to do in a summer/winter session. Much easier than precal (mat10).

Do not take any other teacher but him. He is a super nice guy! All the ratings about him are true. He lends you a graph cal if needed. So i ended up missing more than 6 days of his class..including test days. He was very understanding and actually set everything up for me to catch up. I took Professor Robles for Stats in Summer 2013 and I loved it. He was so funny and his class was pretty easy. Attendance wasn't mandatory but if you missed a few days, the material could get confusing. He didn't require a large expensive textbook, just a graphing calculator. Math doesn't come easy to me but I passed his class with an A. :)

BEST MATH TEACHER IN RCCD, WITHOUT A DOUBT! I'm by no means, good at any sort of mathematics, yet Robles made it INCREDIBLY simple to understand and apply to his tests and quizzes. So helpful and tries to find something to apply the lesson to. If you have a choice to take him, DO IT, you will NOT be disappointed

One of the best professors I have ever had. Everything is based from the classes. All my notes that were given during class were the exact material on the exams and quizzes. You have to be lazy or not commited to school to not get an A in this course. Statistics is actually fun and applicable to our everyday life!

Professor Robles only teaches what he will test on. Plenty of examples and practice problems will be done before the test so anything you encounter you will have already practiced. Easy class plus Robles is very animated and keeps the lecture interesting. Not a typical boring math class.

Take home quizzes, allows a full sheet of paper "cheat sheet" during EVERY test (even final). Thorough and understandable lectures. He loves rock and roll and plays bass. Andy is respected by everyone in Norco College. He's buying more graphic Calculator for his upcoming students for his Stats class. His class is good. As long as you pay attention. You will have to work for your grade though. I'm so happy that he will be teaching Business Calculus in the Fall-2015. I need that for transfer to UC. Take him students.

There is a lot of good reviews below that describe what the class is like, but apart from that Robles has a special and rare ability to teach, truly teach. The school should make up a class were Robles can teach all of the other professors at Norco how to properly teach students, yes he is that good. BEST PROFESSOR TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Stats was my last math class @Norco! Everyone I asked said, 'Take Robles!' They were so right! Robles has a true passion for what he does, Math! Mr. Robles takes really tough material, removes the pretentiousness and delivers clear, do-able math. If more professors approached math like Robles does, there would be a lot more math majors in the world. I waited for several semesters to get this guy. Totally worth the wait. Absolutely fantastic. Clear, step-by-step instruction, of what could be, intimidating material. Helpful, cheerful, totally approachable. Do you even need to read my review? Everyone knows Robles is literally the king of math at norco. But side note you don't need to worry about buying a textbook for this class because the tests are all based on the lectures and he lets you use a page of notes on the test. He does not make his class extremely difficult just to be a jerk he makes it so you have to practically work hard to fail.

super easy class, almost no homework. all quizzes were take-home. tests were just like the study guides. multiple extra credit opportunities. (also, hes just a really nice guy)

Professor Robles is really thorough with his lectures and breaks information down to where it is easier to comprehend. He hands out 5 take-home quizzes that are due within a week & answers any questions you may have. He also hands out 3 midterms, to which he also answers any possible questions, & allows a full sheet of notes to use for the tests.

Best teacher i have ever taken. i took him for Math 5 and Math 12 and i can say he made his lectures really clear that i understood the material. Definitely a teacher to take you will not regret it.

He teaches you Biz Calc in a way that it makes you improve your algebra and makes calc simple. Class is easy if you do the work and study. Very laid back, hilarious and positive professor. Teaches you various method from calculator method to traditional calclus method. Makes you work for problems on classwork but gives you easy problems on tests.

He is the best professor anyone can find all three campuses Rcc, Norco, Moreno valley. He doesn't give homework, if your going to class regularly and paying attention their is no way you will get anything else other than A. I would Recommend anyone who needs to take Math 5. Take him

I never fully understood math until I took Robles' class. He's so funny, keeps the classroom energized, you can work at your own pace and he's always available to help. Truly dedicated to his students and the subject. He made me love math for a semester and I wish I could retake this class! As long as you know how to do the work, you will pass.

The best math class that I have ever taken in my life. I could literally type out a whole essay on how amazing he is. The way he teaches calculus helps you understand it so well that it makes it seem easier than intermediate algebra. The take home quizzes are perfect to use as study guides on exams. And the two midterms and final are easy.

Great professor! Plenty of extra credit. Take home quizzes. 2 exams (with 1 page front and back cheat sheet). No homework and no textbook required. Highly recommend Robles since he is a great teacher! Make sure you never skip a class or else you'll fall behind on notes and get lost.

As someone who was not confident in math, Robles made it extremely easy! While sometimes the material can be slightly heard to grasp, he is more than willing to help you out. His lectures are thorough and you save money by not needing a textbook. Would take again in a heartbeat!

This is the best math professor I've had. He not only wants you to pass, but he really helps you get an A in his class. Do not even think about taking another Professor for math, this was by far one of the best classes I have ever taken. He made something as scary as statistics an absolute breeze. It's not even that this class or concepts are easy, it just feels so easy because he is that great of a teacher. I hope Norco realizes just how lucky they are to have him!

I took stats once and had an F the whole entire time so i had to drop it I've been so scared to retake stats especially since I suck at math but Professor Robles teaches it in a way that everyone can understand. I ended with an A+ in the class, don't hesitate to take him Im so glad I took him he makes learning statistics very easy.

He accepts late work as long as you Communicate with him and no points will get deducted.I passed with an A with starting the semester thinking I was going to fail

Fantastic teacher who made learning easy and fun. He would do a review before major tests that covered all of the types of problems that would be on the exam, and tests and quizzes were not timed and could be taken at your own pace. Also, there was no homework. I highly recommend.

Professor Robles is awesome. This was my first year taking a math course since hs and It was very easy going + enjoyable thanks to him. His work is so organized and he is always willing to explain the material. He is very approachable and helpful with all classwork including tests.

One of the best professors i've had. His textbooks were easy to follow self written packets he gave to us, and all we needed to provide was a TI-84 calculator and even then he was ok with us using the app. All tests were take home and given a week in advance. He's incredibly funny and and genuinely interesting to listen to.

Professor Robles, you are the best! I highly recommend taking his class its easy and concise. You will not regret taking Statistics with him it's impossible to fail. We truly need more professors like him! The only bad is that he won't be teaching MAT-5. 100/10 nevertheless thanks, professor.

TAKE HIM! All Exams and quizes he allows like 5 Days to turn in. You will pass even if you dont like math. Allows 3 retries for wrong answer assignments and 2 retries for wrong answer midterms and final. Online lectures, TI 84 calculator app/ software. Easy to pass class! One of the best math teachers I've had. He explains statistics very well. However, he requires you to use a Ti-84 plus graphing calculator. He will explain how to use it throughout the course. He wrote his own textbook and provides it to students free of charge

The greatest math teacher I've ever had. I've always struggled with math but this class was a breeze. He gives you the texts he wrote as packets which makes it easy to learn at home and the homework he assigns will always help you succeed on tests. Spends a lot of time just talking and joking with students and always comes in excited to teach.

Last class here at RCC/Norco for my AA and I was dreading taking it, but professor Robles got us through it with easy to follow lectures, open book/lecture policy, and generally just gives you a great learning environment. Follow the lectures, read his feedback, and you'll be fine. Super happy with this class!

This professor really cares, he is very kind and responds fast. All tests take home, all classes recorded so attending is not mandatory, allows late work for every test + assignments and all HW assignment answers are posted after due date.

Professor Robles was amazing! At first I was afraid of taking statistics for my requirement since I have never been good at math but it all changed when taking his class. His lectures are well done and easy to follow even if you have no math experience. I ended up enjoying math thanks to this class. I heavily recommend taking him!

One of the best professors i've ever taken. He gives out easy lectures and you can always go back and rewatch the videos if you missed out on the zoom lectures. He also gives out great feedback for all of the quizzes and homework that were handed out throughout the course. Most of the homework and quizzes were fairly easy.

If you are 100% worried about doing your homework and paying attention to your classes, everything will be easy because this teacher explains things quickly.

Honestly best choice I ever did was pick this professor!!! you get to take your quizzes at home and exams! He also lets you fix answers and submit them again! All I could say is pay attention to his lectures and you'll be okay! Math especially stats isn't my best subject but professor Robles makes it understanding and gives out his own material.

this professor is one of the best professors there is! he cares so much about his students, gives time to work on assignments after lecture, gives great feedback, and every assignment, quiz, and exam are easy. not to mention he records every lecture so if you miss something out you don't understand something right away he records it

Great Class! Was always fun to attend, and looked forward to the lectures. He doesn't do Live Tests so you can easily ace every exam. Gives time to work on assignments after lecture if you don't want Homework. Easy class so I'm not sure to take if you're a Math Major. Hes retiring soon, so take him if you can.

Please take this professor he is the greatest. I suck at math and he helps you a lot usually he has zoom lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays perfect time to ask him any questions. HE assigns homework once a week and so ifykyk. You shouldn't fail

Professor Robles was a phenomenal statistics professor whom I'd highly recommend. He explains concepts clearly and patiently, records lectures for easy review, and uses real life examples that make statistics practical and understandable. I truly enjoyed his class.

STAT C1000 in Fall 2025 was very easy overall. A TI-83 calculator is definitely needed. The professor created his own textbook and homework. Exams consisted of about 12 long questions, so knowing how to properly draw the required graphs was very important.
