He helps everyone understand the programs and what he's asking us to do. Grading is simple, just follow directions and you'll be good.

Being in Professor Weeks class to me has been an amazing experience this semester. In his class you got to learn all the ins and outs of the Digital Media industry, and he explains it all in a humorous but yet understandable way. This class is very knowledgeable for anyone who wants to study digital media.

Awesome professor, easy test because they're open notes, and power points. Very funny. Try to listen to what he says though, he is very thorough and some of my classmates would not listen, and you could see the frustration build up inside him. Otherwise awesome class, would definitely take again.

Prof. Weeks was a great teacher and this was a really fun class to take. Its just the basics so don't expect extremely in depth use of the programs but you get a good feel for a lot of Adobe products. If your going to miss class, then send him an email.

I would recommend this class to those who are in need of an insight of the world of digital media. Having very little experience with programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.. I have learned many of the functions of each program, but would have liked to go more in depth. Overall professor has great sense of humor which helps you focus.

When I took his class I was dreading having to be in a 4 hour night class, but Prof Weeks makes it fun to be there. He is very clear as to what he wants to see from you, and also totally understands if you are having a hard time with you projects. It is an intro class after all. I would def suggest him to other students.

Very easy class if you show up and keep up with the projects. If you're ever confused or have a question Prof. Weeks will go out of his way to find an answer and help you succeed. If you're into film and audio production you will especially enjoy this class.

Professor Weeks has a great sense of humor and overall, I enjoyed this class. We did not use a textbook, but his lectures and demonstrations for each program and topic we did were really clear. I think he gave adequate time for the projects and the feedback was useful. He is honest about his knowledge of the material, but is willing to help you.

Just do what he says. Make sure you study outside of class when he presents links, and ALWAYS TAKE NOTES. If he writes, you write. Its tough subject matter if you aren't familiar but if you communicate with him about any issues, he's understanding.

One of the better traits the professor has is that he has on the job experience in the field and tells us what to expect in the real world. For someone like me who's going to be jumping right into the real world as soon as possible, this was great.

Everything is straight to the point. All the quizzes are open notes. So if you write down the lectures, you are fine. The assignments have clear grading criteria, so you can get a good grade. Attendance is mandatory, but if you need to miss class just tell the professor. He will work with you.

Totally recommend prof Weeks. Hes awesome and very down to earth. Dont skip lectures and youll pass every quiz. Very fair and clear prof. professor weeks is a great professor. i had a great time learning this class. it was a fun class because you learn a little bit of many programs. i like his style of teaching, he is professional. i also like how he always is willing to help you in class if you dont understand something.

He's definitely helpful where he needs to be and will take whatever time he needs to solve a problem even if only one student is having it. There's nothing off the top of my head that I can say I disliked, but if there was, it's mostly overshadowed by the fact that he just simply does a very good job teaching his class.

An all around great prof. really helped me understand how the programs worked and how to use them. Is not agaisnt jokes or laughts as long as its within reason. Only has a few rules with one being the most important Don't Work From The Server. Aslong as you follow them youll be fine. If you have to miss a class just talk to him he is very flexible.

I've been going through some tough stuff for the last couple of months and the brief talks that I had with Professor Weeks actually had quite an impact me. I knew a lot of the subject matter already but still found myself learning quite a bit and enjoying it. Some of the assignments were challenging, but not in a bad way and I always really enjoyed his lectures and not just because he was funny.

If anyone has ever seen the show Community. Mr. Weeks is almost an exact replica of the character Jeff Winger. Mr. Weeks genuinely cares about how well his students do in his class. He's worked in the industry and knows his stuff. This is a great intro class to take if you're not entirely sure what you'd like to do. Funny lectures w/ bad drawings!

Easily the best professors I've had. I didn't need much help throughout the class but he is always there if needed. I took DIG 2000C and it was loads of fun. He is very entertaining and keeps the lectures and class time enjoyable. The class is split into sections by program (Photoshop, InDesign, etc) and one project/assignment each. Take the class.

I definitely learned a lot this semester. I knew a bit about Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro before the class, yet I still found out some important tips. Lectures are super informative. Tip: Like most teachers, he sometimes forgets to tell his earlier classes small details about lessons/assignments, so take the late ones.

Professor Weeks "The Professor" was great to have this semester. He was so funny and was pretty patient with the class. If you come to class, take notes and follow the directions on projects you can earn an A in this class. I wish we had more time though on some projects, but the class is structured to give you an overview of digital media.

Professor Week's class focuses on professionalism. His projects allow you to get a good grasp of different adobe programs although you're expected to partially learn about the program on your own. He gives useful feedback and the directions give you an idea on "real world" problems. He is willing to help and an excellent professor.

Wonderful teacher. I use to take a digital class in high school and was fuzzy on the adobe products afterwards. He helped reintroduce me to these and help me be familiar with them again and even taught me new things I didn't even know. Tests are easy if you take notes, very funny and nice guy. Weeks puts effort into every aspect of his job and makes students feel comfortable in class. Lectures have good pacing with a sprinkling of humor. Most of the projects are enjoyable and while the tests and such are easy, they are relevant. Weeks values integrity, and if you are having real problems you'll get real help.

Professor Weeks is full of information and dad jokes which make the semi-long lectures more tolerable. The quizzes and final exam are open notes and the projects have all been interesting and fun. There are 2 group projects that normally I can't stand but these were quite fun (but that could have been the great groups I ended up with.

I took professor Week' class for the summer. At first I was cautious of taking a summer class that I knew was going to be packed with information, but after the first two classes I was relieved to find the class to be very fun & challenging. Week's made each class/project easy to understand without spoon-feeding you the information. 10/10 Prof.

Mr. Weeks has created a fun environment to really learn the Adobe Creative Cloud programs. His class is more project based and less quiz based and the quizzes he does have you can use your notes on. The projects are appropriately challenging, and really leave you with a good grasp on the Adobe programs. Can't recommend enough.

This class was unexpectedly fun. Weeks does a great job engaging the class and keeping everyone interested in the work. The quizzes are really easy and you can even use your notes for them. I would recommend him for this course or the DIG-2030.

Prof. Weeks is one of the best and easiest prof. to take. Only took 2 quizzes and for the majority of our projects, he was right by our sides making sure we understood everything. If you do your work and listen in class its an easy A.

Listen to what he says, keep the slides in mind and remember that he prefer that you go beyond the minimum. You are competing in a very competitve field and Mr Weeks does clarify that from the beginning.

Andy is a good professor, super funny, and willing to work with you. Classes are mainly lectures, if not then you're doing a lab. Andy does a great job at making the lectures enjoyable. Be prepared for dad/inappropriate jokes. Class is always let out one - two hours early.

Lectures are easy, lots of information. You'll learn mostly with Adobe apps. If you have no experience with them, I suggest you practice with them before a lab day. Group projects are fun. Quizzes are easy just study your notes and read the power points he provides.

If you know phtoshop and overall Adobe you're golden. I wasnt good at all at it and was my first time. Prof helped with clarifying what I missed when working on the photoshoot project, and wasnt a hard grader. Just need to put in and show your effort, the overall project itself is not the main focus. Ask qs if lost. Overall chill.

Classes aren't necessarily mandatory although it is very helpful when you attend so you don't miss information and ask questions later. Would definitely consider taking it again.

Professor weeks is pretty straight forward with his homeworks, meaning he tells you exactly what needs to be on it so you get the best grade you can. All the assignments are really just projects which arent bad and the quizzes we do have are simple if you pay attention. Dont need to be present at lectures if youre busy, bc he posts them too :)

He's great to be around, never a dull moment in his lectures. He also very helpful when it comes to projects and homework. My only complaint is that I would prefer if the syllabus were to be accessible by the tab and not file. Also, a few assignments show no due date. The class can be taken fully online, however, prof. Weeks held optional meetings once a week (recommended). He goes through each modules' powerpoints, explains assignments, and demonstrates how to use Adobe programs. Prof. Andy Weeks (same as Michael Weeks) is chill and reasonable. Spend time on projects and check requirements and you're good.

I took DIG2000C with Mr Weeks. He is a really funny teacher. I learned a lot of things that I will use forever. I set up a slack channel for our class, Prof Weeks was nice enough to let me tell my classmates about it, and we got to communicate outside of class. We laughed, created great memories, and built great friendships. He is a great teacher!

I took this class online and I was surprised how much fun it was! Ill definitely be taking another class with him in the fall. He makes his lectures funny and grades are in fast. He is strict on his instructions so make sure to read over again before turning anything in.

I took Prof. Weeks online for Intro to Dig Media. Due to my work schedule, I was only able to attend the first few zoom meetings, but he always records and posts them on Canvas in case you miss it. The assignments are pretty much comprised of larger projects, including a stop-motion video which I thought was fun. I recommend taking him if you can!

Professor Weeks was great this semester! His class is not hard at all. As long as you put in some effort it can be really fun! He has tutorials on canvas that prepare us for upcoming projects that can be rewatched at any time and are super helpful. My advice would be to not be afraid to ask questions, and get creative!

Prof Weeks is an amazing teacher. There are four live lessons that are very effective. He is knowledgeable, happy to answer questions, and tells great dad jokes. The class is passable if you put in time and effort (time management). Study for exams. It would be helpful to have more student examples for what projects are supposed to look like.

The class was okay because I changed majors, and wasn't any group assignments which I feel would be cool to make connections in the industry. Just make sure to do all the assignments if you don't, it will drop your grade only because there are fewer than 15 assignments.

The class was great. Professor Weeks makes the class enjoyable, cares about his students, and helps you whenever needed. The course was in mixed mode, so we met every other week. If you do all the assignments, read the PowerPoints, and attend class on the days needed, it will be easy to maintain a high grade and pass the course.

I enjoyed taking Intro to Digital Media and Design with Professor Weeks, however though I didn't feel lost in the online class, I do feel like this class would be better with in person lectures. Overall, the assignments were fun, and he isn't an overly hard grader, just make sure you turn in everything because there aren't that many assignments.

I may be biased because I have experience with media tools used in the class, but nonetheless it was very easy to me, very few assignments with clear due dates and instructions. Seems like a cool guy. Only negative thing I can say is sometimes you can still get points tacked off for minor mistakes, but overall great class.

I enrolled in the online course . This course is focused on projects and quizzes. The teacher allows plenty of time and detailed directions to complete assignments. Nevertheless, you will succeed if you complete all assignments and follow directions for this course.

He gives a lot of fun assignments that are very interactive. They allow you to be creative and express yourself so if that's something you enjoy I definitely recommend this class. If you stay on top of assignments and pay attention to directions you'll do well.

Quizzes sometimes have problems with answers not covered in the lecture slides. Fun assignments but unclear instructions. Professor docks points for missing unstated criteria.

I took this course for a full term period and I absolutely loved how it was set up. There was enough time in between the start of a project and turning it in to get it done. There were hour long lectures before every project to ensure success on each project. I've received great feedback every project.

This professor is a really good teacher. Has a lecture every week that you can watch anytime and goes over everything you need. Every thing that got me to a B was my own doing. This was a very fun class, a bit more in-depth than I would except for an intro to digital art class but still a great class. There is a lot of creative freedom in all the assignment as long as you perform those freedoms in the way taught. There are 4 "main" assignments/projects that aren't super hard but can be time consuming.

I took Professor Weeks class, I really did enjoy his class. His class was online but provided for his online students a link to his lectures that he had on Mondays so we can hear the lecture and even provided the lecture for use afterwards. He is a really funny professor, but just a head ups he is a bit of strict grader when it comes to the work!

I really enjoyed this class and I don't think it was too difficult. I really enjoyed having creative freedom and being able to experiment with photoshop and premiere pro. This class definitely helps you learn the basics of everything and doesn't go into too much depth with any one software. Tbh I think the grading is fair, you need to show effort.

The lectures/videos are very helpful. They are the key to completing this course well. He overall is great, understanding and good sense of humor as well.

Professor Weeks is very good, he gives online lectures by zoom but if you can't be there, he always have the recordings of the lectures on canvas. He's very good explaining everything, he doesn't really answer emails immediately, I had to text him to his phone number and ask him to check his email. Overall, he's very nice and comprehensive.

Prof. Weeks was a great teacher. He really loves his job and was very knowledgeable in the different programs that we went over in class. I highly recommend him for Dig 2000c.

Learned way more in this class than I ever did in an in-person class, was so nice to be able to actually learn something! He also gives really good lectures and is funny! Definitely recommend this professor.

Professor Weeks is an amazing professor i highly recommend him. The projects were fun to make and interesting. This class is one assignment a week, and when there was a more complex assignment, he would give us two weeks for it. Super easy and nice definitely recommend.

Professor Weeks was very good. He held Zoom meetings, where he explained the lectures and gave demos of the software. This was very helpful for understanding the content, preparing for projects, and asking questions. Few assignments, but they are based on the lectures, and he provides feedback to help you improve. I recommend taking his class.

I've taken the class, and it is not hard, as the professor makes it quite easy to understand what to do and even records his lectures so that students who might have missed class or need a reminder could use them. He goes in-depth with his lectures. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to do DIG.

This course was one of the easiest and most enjoyable I've taken. The optional Zoom sessions and recordings made assignments clear, and the professor's detailed videos and quick email replies were super helpful. While he gives praise, he also explains what you could have done differently to make your overall project hit. Professor Weeks is a really good teacher and is nice. If you're taking the class online, I would definitely recommend watching all the zoom lectures he provides, they really help when working on the projects because he goes through most of the stuff step by step.

Andy is a professional "get to the point" professor you need in this line of work. Gives great feedback and is open to answering any questions you might have for an assignment. Take the lectures seriously, especially if you're online. His lectures make the assignment easier to understand. Would take again. Highly recommend!

The class I took was a mixed mode class, so I got to experience Prof. Weeks' way of teaching in both the online & in person worlds. He's a very charismatic professor who manages to make a joke while still being able to stay on track with the lecture. There's not a whole lot of work and the 'tests' aren't that hard.

Wonderful professor and easy to understand assignments with the lecture notes being posted on canvas as well. Coming to class during the demo week is very important to understand how to use the editing programs if you have no prior experience with them. Overall amazing class and would take again!

Every lecture was explained really well, with him also putting in some of his own experience. So there wasn't a lecture where I never learned anything. Although I didn't pass his class, he did give me great insight into what to do better. I hope to learn from the knowledge he passed on to me and from my mistakes.

He is a relaxed professor who is passionate about what he teaches. He will let you turn in an assignment a couple of days late if you ask nicely. Do not take this class lightly, tho, because while the assignments are not hard, there are only a few and they are worth everything. SO complete every assignment. He is friendly, and chill so dont worry.
