Professor Camacho is the Best professor. He explains terms in easiest manner by offering examples that you actually relate to real life. Test is on class notes which is what's in the book and he reviews and tells you what to study. You get midterm, final and a paper of your opinion on a book. Best professor to take. Actually enjoy going to class!

A professor that actually knows how to teach. Can make the hardest concepts be pictured by you. He knows how to get your attention with his style of teaching. He is funny and fair. Look no further...I wish he taught more classes. Fair game...tells you what to study for midterm, final and you get a paper on your opinion. Simply the best!!!

Great Prof. Very entertaining and a very fair grader. Gives fair exams and also gives a review a weeks before the exam. You will not really need the book as you can look up the definitions and theories online.

Camacho is SOOOO SWEET & hilarious!!!!! I loved being in his class. We would always LAUGH!! He gives lectures based on reality, giving you a clear perspective of what criminology is all about. You MUST take his class and you won't regret it!! He's the best! One reaction paper, two exams, one is a take home exam. He loves bonus questions ;)

Prof. camacho is a cool guy but a bit cocky and is ALWAYS LATE!!! sometimes doesn't even show....he didn't show for our final, we all had to wait eventually dropping our finals off in his box. Makes class interesting, i do recommend though....

Professor Camacho is young and fun. He's very easy going and informative as well. The classes are never boring nor are they useless or exessively filled with hard work. the classes are interesting and fairly set up with work assigned. PRofessor Camacho is a good professor.

NOBODY DROPS HIS CLASS it was packed from the 1st-last day 1 midterm & final midterm is a reaction essay 2 a book called generation me which pissed me off so my essay was profanity laced which he loved & read 2 the class the final is part take home MAKE HIM YOUR 1ST OR LAST CLASS he is always absent or very late religiously, u wont work hard @ all

This professor is the greatest! He is one of the best professors that I have had since attending John Jay. He forces you to think about the government and the various entities within a society in a different light. He removes the veil from your eyes and reverses the classical conditioning if you are open minded. 1 Midterm & 1 Take Home final!

Great! Test were to the point and everything he taught was on the test. Essay was easy so were the take home final and mid-term. did I mention he was clear in his teaching.

This has got to be one of the easiest courses I have ever taken in my life. With that said, it is still rather interesting. Most of the course is casual discussion about the material with a lot of film viewing. The final is ridiculously easy -- a take-home. I almost felt guilty taking this course it was so easy.

If you have multiple class on any give day, Professor Camacho`s class should be last. He will revive you, he is extremely funny and the class discussions are to die for. Overall, an excellent professor, he teaches you about reality in the Criminal Justice System, scary.

Reality is different that what's in the books...You better open your eyes earlier!Prof Camacho would told you about it, and he is absolutely right. His class is a very good lesson about life!I greately appreciate opportunity of taking it!Thank you, Professor!!!

Professor Camacho, is a terrific professor, mentor, teacher... he has changed my views of life without him even knowing... His Lectures and teaching is a Life experience, he makes Beccaria and Lombroso's theories interesting... It's an Honor to have taken this class!!!

Look up the word 'dynamo' in the dictionary and you'll see his picture next to it. Prof. Camacho injects a lot of energy into his lectures; he gallops back and forth, from one end of the room to the other (gesticulating all the while). His talks on social class dynamics and ethnic relations in America are thought-provoking. He's also funny.

Took professor Camacho before for SOC 203 and I must say, nothing has really chance. He is d best professor by far, also he has the best sense of humor ever.Highly, highly recommended.

Where can I start this off...Well, hands down, the best teacher ON EARTH! I love his lectures, and trsut me I get bored easily. His class is three hours long, but it feels as if it were an hour! Like you don't feel time passes by. Everyone attends his class...what does that tell you. 3hrs+Prof.Camacho= :)

This is what you want from a Prof veteran worked the feds and now teaches super fun guy almost gave away the grades makes a point to have students learn what goes on around them take him if you can more so if your PR he always likes a good laugh and has a cool sense of humor no BS in the class enjoy you wont regret it

One of the best professors at John Jay! Extremely laid back.I am not a morning person but I enjoyed coming to his class because he makes it interesting. Not only do you learn a lot in his class you also learn about life. I wish I could take him again for senior seminar. There is only a midterm, paper and a final. Take him. You wont regret it.

LOVE this professor he is so down to earth and doesn't try to sugar coat what society is really going through. He teaches his class with passion and focuses more on teaching you through real life stories than HW and tests all the time. DEFFFFF take his class! Not your average professor (in a good way) and very funny.

Best professor ever. No homework. 1 paper, 5 pages reaction to book. TAKE HOME FINAL AND HE GIVES YOU A WEEK TO DO IT. Really funny, very clear and the stuff he teaches u actually learn. Misses class a lot so I would make his class the last or first class of your day so u can leave early or go in late. SO far has missed 6 or 7 classes. TAKE HIM

Have him once a week, his class is easy and you learn a lot and he doesn't sugar coat how society really is. One 5 page reaction paper, TAKE HOME QUIZ and FINAL. He does miss class often. TAKE HIM.

Professor Camacho is one of the best in John Jay. He is very laid back, hilarious and keeps it real. If you are easily offended, stay away. He has cancelled class a few times but always notifies his students. I would definitely take another class with him again.
