He is down to earth, and never expects a lot from his students. His test reviews are bery good, and he always gives extra points on tests. I highly recommend him.

Well the class itself has alot of information that was crambed up in the summer, but I thought he was pretty hard. His test are HARD! Why? Because he has grammar issues that confuse you. You have to study or you will not pass. 1-10 I give him a 7.

Great class. Always gives a review. Tests are fifty q's, multiple choice, one essay (the essay q is sooooo easy you have to be an idiot to miss it). Oh if you don't believe me checkout his website everythings is there. Last but least on the day of finals, because I had an (A) average I was told to go home. Great Class love every day. Funny guy.

I took this class online and it was great. If you do all extra credit, and ask the professor any questions about assignments misunderstood you should pass this class.You have to study and do the practice test to pass this class. The professor was over all great. Take him if your not lazy

Textbook very helpful, but focus more on the power points, and you always access them online.He is very helpful, has a sense of humor. Tesst....not easy, but all from the lectures.Got A's in both his classes.

Great guy. Cares alot about the environment and definitly enjoyes his job. Offered tons of extra credit. His tests are still challenging though so dont expect an easy A.

Professor Rodriguez is a wonderful professor; everything that you need to know is on the syllabus. This is a class that you need to work, but he is very helpful. Make sure you study the puzzles and extra-activities in the end of each chapter. He gives a lot of extra credit; I really enjoy and learn a lot with his class. Got an A

Prof. Rodriguez's class is fun, his teaching style makes science easy to learn. Must read the book though and do practice exam work to get an A. The exams are a little weird but if you read book and to practice exams you will be fine.

Professor Rodriguez was awesome, even though there are a lot of material, I took it online, just do all yours discussions and HWs, you will be fine, plus study all his power points that he gives you to study, the test are the same as it said in the powerpoint, just a little tricky pay a lot attention to the tests. Took this class online and learned A LOT! VERY INTERESTING. Simply put: Professor is very nice. Let me take exams late as long as I rescheduled. I got a high B, but worked hard for it. READ THE BOOK and review w/ powerpoints- it'll help with the Quizzes and Test. Tests are no joke, but if you read the material you cant go wrong. GREAT CLASS!!!!

THIS IS AN AVERAGE PROFESSOR. took him online and it was ok. 4 tests (which are hard IF you don't read the book/ppts) but also note that even if you do, the tests are still hard; it's like he teaches one thing and puts something else on the test..he's not mean though and the class is whatev. take him and you'll just teach yourself, if you want to.

He is cool, but Online Class is not easy! No cons which should make you hesitate in signing up for his courses. But be aware you have to put in B+ work&studying to get by w/ a C+/B- @the end of his class. Lil extra credit&I personally think curves grades if the class isn?t doing well. Test are slightly hard&done on campus, assignments tedious.

Great Professor. you wont need the book just study the puzzles and practice questions and you do good on the test. i study the day before a test and get an A. not hard at all but you also learn. he really knows his stuff. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

He's really amazing. this is the second time I'm taking him because good professors are so hard to find. he speaks clearly and knows everything about his subject. overall not a hard class. no homework, lots of extra credit. just study the jeopardy and review stuff and you'll get a good grade on the test. he's also very lenient and helpful.

I thought that it was going to be more difficult, but it wasn't. It has been "an easy course". You have to study your handouts and figures of the book. Also, the professor helps you a lot with Extra Credits. I learnt better about my environment. I took it online. The worst was to have to go to the campus to take the tests... :-) ...Good Luck!!!

Bio Lab. Very cut and dried, no pun intended. (no dissecting!) He is very passionate about the subject and keeps you engaged. No surprises on quizzes, just study what he gives you, and you'll do fine. Lab manual is affordable, but required. Do not buy the $10 eyewear, he does not require it.

I would recomend this class with him because he does a 10 question quiz every class, so it is easy to remember what u covered in the last class. Very helpful and gives extra credits. I would like to have his class again for AP2L but he teaches most of the other sciences. VERY RECOMENDED if you want to pass AP1L. ;)

I took professor Rodriguez for OCE1001, OCE1001L, and EVR1009, all online. His tests are long and are 4 chapters. None of his classes are easy, you must do the work. Most of the people complaining must not have done the work, because you can achieve an A if you read the textbook and complete the assignments. He really loves his job.

He's been my favorite professor since my first semester. I've taken all of his classes because I know that I will always get an A AND learn a ton. He has all the resources you'll need to pass including PowerPoint's and games on his teaching website and will not move on until the class seems like they get it. Also gives plenty of extra credit oops.

Cool guy. Tests are hard and I found myself struggling to get low B's. But there is only three tests plus the final, which was optional. He's funny and easy to follow. Likes to tell stories. Offers a good amount of extra credit.

He is a good teacher! There are four tests in the class, which need to be taken at the LRC. The tests consist of two or three or four chapters you need to study. Other then that the homework is straight forward, discussions are straight forward, and everything in the class is straight forward.

1 of my favorite profs @ BC. I took BSC1005L, EVR1009 & BSC1005 blended all together with him, so I can easily say that Prof. Rodriguez loves teaching, & he is great at it. He is also very funny & dedicated to help students succeed. The test reviews areas on his websites are very valuable, so use them as study guides, and you will do very well.

I have read most of the reviews that have been posted about professor Rodriguez. I have to say that all the people who complain probably just want an easy A. I am currently taking him now and just took my test. Easy test, all you need is the notes. Just do a small study group and you will be fine. He also likes you to have something to say.

I was not looking for an easy A but in the beginning of the class he states that you don't need the book his PowerPoints are enough. GET THE BOOK! His PowerPoints were basically an outline and his tests went into much more detail. There were only two tests, a presentation and a final. So if you did poorly on the two tests then that's that.

You have to study to pass and pay attention in class and you will do fine. Also, look at the information he has posted online.

When I originally picked this class it was with Elizabeth Cohen. The school needed her to teach at another campus and Professor Angel Rodriguez filled in. He made the class come together and create study groups. I now have forever friends. I would take him for any science class. He is a wonder teacher. Test reviews are used as homework credit.

He's a very nice guy and over the summer the class is very fast-paced (duh) though it isn't hard to keep up. The book is definitely not necessary. He has an accent, but he isn't hard to understand at all. The tests were fair enough and the test review questions gave you a good idea about at least some of the questions on the test.

Dr. Rodriguez really cares about his students and gives you what you need to do well and pass. There is a review before each exam. Do this and you will have 50 out of 55 questions that will be on the exam. There is a slight disconnect from the exams and lecture slides, so you WILL have to read and outline the book to do well. Very likable & funny

It was my first time taking a lab class and he made it so easy. He explains everything and it's really funny. Bad thing is that there's no extra credit. Still, get ready to study because the practical exam is tough

I took the class and the Lab and both are honestly fairly graded. The Class has a lot of information but as long as you go to class and read the power points and do all the h/w you are good. For the Lab do online work, read and use the Lab for study guides. He helps before each test. He does offer extra crédit so do it !!

Professor Rodriguez knows how to make class fun, he makes jokes that make the whole class laugh and we played jeopardy with biology questions. He is very good at explaining concepts and really knows the material. He's definitely one of my favorite professors. I suggest reading the chapters. I learned a lot from this class and got an A.

This has to be one of the best professors I've had so far. He's funny, relatable, knows how to teach the material and values doing so. Professor Rodriguez is one of the BEST teachers I've had. I took his class with credit for Honors by Contract and I got an A. His lectures are very interesting, he likes explaining with real life examples, and he is hilarious. He gives LOTS of opportunities for extra credit and is available at his office for help. I took Prof. Angel for 2086 A&P 1&2 It's just not an option here. He's an amazing professor. The power points are the key for tests. Don't miss class,you will get lost. There is a lot of info to learn. Ext credit available & depending on you avarage grade before the last test you take it or not. He's available to answer Q's online or in person.

I took this professor for Anatomy 1 and 2 lectures. You don't need the textbook to pass the class. Read the PowerPoints, make flashcards, and make use of the worksheets and TRQ's as a review. Study at least three days before the test... He wants you to pass!!!

I loved this class because of Dr. Rodriguez. You will have to read and keep up in the textbook based on where you are in the lectures but if you go to class and read the book there's no reason you shouldn't get a good grade in the class. He wants everyone to pass and do well so there aren't any hoops to jump through. 10/10.

Look everybody lets face it ANATOMY IS HARD AF but he explained it with real life examples that made it so easy to understand, he has resources to help you study at home, he is honestly the best teacher. I took this class in Fall it was a blended course. There are 4 test 50 questions each with a extra 5 questions for extra credit. Test are not difficult as long as you study his slides he does go over a pp, no book is necessary but you do need an access code for connect this is worth extra credit. Over all I really enjoy his lectures & class.

Anatomy is a difficult course but Dr. Rodriguez puts everything in layman's terms and makes it enjoyable. There's a quiz before each class (which are identical to his powerpoints), drops the lowest grade. Once you complete your lab assignment you can leave. An 80 question exam is the final. Show up to class, and put in the work, you'll pass.

This is the BEST professor I've taken at Broward College! Really has a gift of being able to lecture and helping you understand the material through stories and examples. Only critique is to study everything even when he tells you, you don't need to focus on it, it still may be on the test.

Took this course with BSC2085L (also with prof Rodriguez) as a session 3 class. Was a six week course & I was pretty worried about how I would do since it was during such a short semester. The tests were comprehensive but not cumulative, there was not much homework and I actually learned he's very engaging. Everything in the notes is on the tests.

People say that A&P was going to be a hard class but he made it so easy, professor Rodriguez is the type of teacher that actually teaches , and if you ask him to go over something you didn't understand he will until u get it. his classes are really fun and you learn at the same time , but you also have to do your part and study study study.

Super kind, gives many examples so that you can remember stuff for both the quizzes and practical. I didn't do too well on this practical because I went to the ASC last minute, make sure you go with time there to study models, quizzes every class and can be tricky, he does give practice questions that are somewhat like the quizzes which help a lot

Prof. Angel is amazing! He's very knowledgeable and passionate about A&P and it shows through his teaching style and lectures. I had him for both lecture and lab. I was a a little nervous for this class at the beginning because I knew it was going to be a lot of material but there is nothing he does not prepare you for. Study and you will do great!

In lab he has quizzes based on what was learned in the previous class, he goes over power-points based on what the lab about and he points out details that will be on practical. The practicals are completely based off lab manual!!!! extra credit is given as well. Study hard and you will pass!!

Prof Rodriguez was a great professor! I had him for General Bio and i SUCK at science! but his lectures are funny and as long as you study his powerpoints you'll be good to go. After getting a C on the first test, I made sure to look over the powerpoints and go to the ASC for some extra reinforcement, and got A's on the rest of the tests!

Took his class in 2019 for fall. 4 tests, 4 review assignments, 1 powerpoint assignment. Although he reads of the powerpoints and says the same joke over & over again, his class is an easy A. Extra credit for just going to the ASC.

Best Professor in BC. I wish he teaches Anatomy & Physiology 2, but something might had happened preventing him from teaching this year. I would take his class + Lab in a hear beat if I were you. Dr. Rodriguez is an exceptional professor. His syllabus is clear and true to what it says. I took A&P 1 and 2 with him and I loved them. He made learning a difficult subject interesting and fun, while maintaining a respectful environment. His class is a safe place to ask questions and make comments. In my book, he is an ideal professor.

Prof Rodriguez was very caring with all students. He would answer every question we had in class. Tests were doable, only four tests and some activities. He is a very good professor, I wish I could take him for BCS2086

I took him for A&P I , A&P I Lab, and A&P II. He is an amazing professor. He genuinely cares and makes sure you understand the material. He makes science so fun! Textbook for lecture is not mandatory but it is for Lab (lab manual). He provides all his lectures online so if you have to miss the class you wont fall behind (dont take advantage!) 10/10

I took him twice for anatomy 1 & 2. Hes so understanding and so caring. He teaches really good and knows his stuff. He makes funny jokes here and there. His tests are a little hard so you CANT slack with him even if hes a nonchalant person. He wants you to succeed and helps you. Love him ! Wish he could be my professor for all sciences.

He is very lenient when it comes to late work, will give you plenty of chances to submit assignments. Make sure to study, because he doesn't give a lot of time for quizzes. Taking this class was extremely interesting, I learned soo much, and the activity's and projects that we did was so Fun and easy. He tells you exactly what he wants, all you have to do is follow directions. He is soo caring and also very fast with communication when needed. I must say that he is one of the best professors, who loves what he do.

This class was an easy A! Just show up to class and do all the work on time. The material is not hard. The professor loves to review by playing Kahoot!. The textbook was not necessary to purchase. Grading consists of 3 tests, 1 final, 5 assignments, 1 PowerPoint and an extra credit bonus.

I hate Biology!! But Professor Rodriguez made it easy and I never thought he would actually help me throught the semmester. He is very caring and funny and teaches very professionally. If anyone that hates BIO like I do take him. He will help you pass the class no matter what.

Prof. Rodriguez was one of the easiest professors I've ever taken. Class was super chill and homework was even easier. He does Kahoot before ever test and also provides powerpoints. Just make sure to do the test reviews for all test and you will pass with flying colors!

Professor Rodriguez for is a great professor for Environmental science courses his lectures are little boring however he makes a joke to make less boring. However one thing I should warn everyone is that he has 4 exams and he gives only 70 minutes to complete the 55 questions that was the annoying part other then that he is very intelligent.

I took professor Rodriguez for environmental for my spring semester. It was remote, but he made it easy to manage. You have a few chapter tests which he does good reviews for. Tests are pretty easy, and he is an easy grader. I would take him again.

Had a really good spring semester with Professor Rodriguez, everything is straight foward and he's an extremely easy grader. Brief lectures so don't worry about long boring teachings. Also very communicative and will help you to the best of his ability. Would definitely take again !!

Recommending this professor because it was such an easy class. It was 6 weeks and we had 4 tests, 4 tests reviews (study guides) that we had to complete, and 1 PowerPoint project. Pretty easy grader and tests were't too hard. Take him if you want an easy and smooth semester.

Took this class through zoom and we had to buy the lab manual. Not too expensive. Every week we had a "skill check" and its basically answering 3-5 questions. Pretty easy and he has videos linked on d2l to answer them. We also had 1 quiz a week to go along with the skill check chapter. A little hard but nothing know one can handle. Overall easy.

This professor takes the time to help you. I had a difficult time at the beginning trying to understand how he presents his assignments and lectures, but if you keep up with his lectures and turn in your assignments which is not much, you will do great. Exams are heavy. He cares about his students and he also gives extra credit.

I took him for his lab too and he is such a caring person. There are 4 tests, one powerpoint project which is very easy and test review for each test. The test are 55 questions, 5 of them are extra credit. The class was easy overall. Loved his sense of humor. Recommended!!

Professor Rodriguez was great. He is very to the point and keeps his lectures brief. He offers extra credit and the help is always there if needed. Only thing I would have wanted was to add more time to the quizzes because 10 min wasn't enough. I felt rushed and pressured. He doesn't require your camera to be on during class so that was a plus!

This class definitely kept me busy, but it was an easy A for me. We had a lab every week, and you have to buy the "textbook" which is more like a workbook to see the questions for each lab. ($45) Quiz every week on the lab, some of them were really hard and some super easy. Chill professor overall, loves helping students and being asked questions.

Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. There is a lot of material to cover, but he is very helpful and makes the class interesting in his lectures. Once you do the work, you will get an A. He is very understanding and accomodating.

Great professor! There's a quiz and assignment due every week but it's nothing long at all. Lectures are at most 30 minutes long. He allows you to turn in work late but you have more than enough time to finish each assignment. I 100% recommend him, I learned a lot and he made the class very interesting.

Angel Rodriguez is a very funny, knowledgeable man. I took him for a summer course and the lectures were long but be managed to make it fun with jokes. He gives extra credit which is 4 hours of volunteer work with proof is 10 extra credit points to your grade. I recommended taking his class. Very interesting class :) never a dull moment with him

Dr. Rodriguez was relatively clear, and helpful during labs. Additionally, some labs involved many tasks, but I never felt overwhelmed or stressed about not being able to complete them.

Take the BSC1005L course, which I recommend taking this class completely because it has many modules to study and additional laboratory. Which do not take the quick class. The teacher always answers any questions for zoom meetings. There are many 15 minute quizzes which I recommend doing the lab first and practice quizzes always first.

PEOPLE TAKE HIM, I tell you this guy is hilarious using lyrics for his lectures and plays a game before a test. He is an amazing grader, he does not want you to fail and if you are he suggest extra credit.The emails you send he sends an email back the same day.The textbook was not required, he had PowerPoints and the textbook on D2L for us already.

I took Professor Rodriguez during the summer so it was an accelerated course. out of my other 2 professors, it was refreshing to have a teacher who responds to emails and he is excellent about reminding you about work that hasn't been turned in. I would say do all his extra credit assignments.

A very nice teacher and a very easy class! All of the classwork was very simple and easy to understand. Dr. Rodriguez when very understanding when I had technical issues and wasn't able to take the test that day. If you are taking this course online, your exams will be on SATURDAY, just a heads up. Professor Angel Rodriguez is a committed teacher who takes the time to thoroughly and clearly explain each chapter to his students. He responded to emails as well. He genuinely wants none of his students to fail the course. When he wrote me about the task, he had no idea that I was a busy student with three classes and a lot going on in my life.

very understanding and works with you , responds very quickly and really cares but does give alot of assignments and test . as long as you stay ahead of the assignments and make time and don't wait last min you will be okay.

It is likely that your course will be different. For my course, he did a bunch of easy quizzes and were worth a big chunk of your grade, and some easy group and general assignments that he graded with 100%s. The hard part were the tests (four tests for an 8 weeks semester)and they are all proctored AND they all open and are due within the same day.

He is very understanding he will work with his student, addition he responding to your emails. Very caring I also received an A in BSC 1005. I received a C in 1005 Lab because it was summer which the summer are shorter. and the lab system keep stopping constantly.

While the professor's teaching style may not be for everyone, I found unstuckstudy ai to be a helpful study tool that complemented the course material. If you engage with the class and use the right resources, you can succeed in this biology course.

I took this class online. He's literally an angel. He accepts late work and gives you full credit for it. There are 8 units, with discussion posts, assignments, quizzes, and exams for each unit. But these assignments/tests are not hard at all. The same questions on the quiz are on the exam. Very easy class.

As my last course at BC before transferring, I've had experience with many professors, and he's my favorite for online learning. He responded to emails quickly, was always available to help, and even corrected an exam error without me asking—a rare quality. Highly recommend!

The professor was easy to reach via email and answered any questions I had. The group projects suck because it's extremely difficult to coordinate. Both of the projects are due on the same day. Exams are okay if you study the quizzes. There was no cumulative final which was a relief.

He's a great professor be ready to learn. The exam weights are heavy. Do the extra credit it really helps! On the downside majority of the test we never went over in class & even his study guide has a disclaimer basically stating what you do on the study guide probably wont even be on the exam. He expects us to know everything by the exam date.

Super easy class (online). There's really nothing hard about this class as long as you do work on time. Assignments were easy fill in the blanks most times. Proctored exams, also offers extra credit, a few discussions and quizzes. Didn't do too well on exams and still got an A.
