Was a little wary from other comments, but took her anyway and glad I did. She's funny and helpful. She is FAST, but I took a condensed course. Doesn't use book, uses online program for hw. Sends everyone a copy of ppts. Tests and quizzes are easy, offers EC, if you miss one exam the final counts as double. Do the hw, copy notes, you'll be okay.

Very helpful teacher. Lots of extra credit. Quiz's are easy. Tests reflect handouts. She uses "My Math Lab", which is tedious and annoying, but I think it's what many teachers are using anyways.

The professor is very helpful and has a great attitude. She will make you earn your grade but that is the whole idea of taking classes. The quizzes were easy and she always helps and explains everything about them. You just have to stay afterwards and she will make you understand. Great professor over all. Uses My Math Lab which is not that great.

Professor Agocs is AWESOME!! I am not a math person, especially Algebra, not to mention College Algebra. However, she took the time to teach and answer questions. I found that after going through the handouts and homework, I could go to her during office hours and she would assist me in the topics I was unclear on. Would reccomend and repeat!

She is great! She will go over a question as many times as needed until everyone understands. As long as you're in class and do the hw and notes you'll be fine. She even tells you what type of quetions will be on the tests or quizzes. You don't need to buy the textbook because you don't really use it plus it is on mymathlab anyway.Greatly recommend

This course moves FAST! There is a lot of material to cover and it seems as though there just is not enough time. Asking for help take you far. This teacher keeps office hours and one on one is GREAT! Asking questions in class helps but not as much as one on one.

This instructor moves way to fast. If you ask her a question she says, come to my office.She has no time to explain. I have a job I don't have time. Sometimes its hard to understand her. No book is needed all work is done on MyLab. I fail so Im taking another instructor during the fall.

She is great. If you do the work you will have no problems. She tells you that. She is very entertaining and you can tell she loves what she does. I really enjoyed having her and would easily take a class with her again. OH and by the way she is HOT

Fantastic Teacher! Got C's and D's in high school and over the last two classes with her (Intermediate Alg, and College Alg) I received A's in both. A little fast in class but, she will stay after to help. Could not have asked for a better teacher! Mainly used Mymathlab for homework and study.

Most amazing professor that I've had thus far. She has a thick accent that's a bit hard to understand, but she knows that so she tells you in the beginning to tell her if you can't understand her. She's always open to new ideas and new ways to solve problems and she's always there to help. Definitely recommend this professor!

This is my second class with Prof. Agocs and both with ALEKS. I tried MAC1105 with another professor and had to withdraw, not a good experience. Prof. Agocs does care about her students and wants them to succeed. Math is by far my weakest subject and with her I understand it. I would take her again in the future and highly recommend.

Great professor!!!!!! The best math teacher I have had in about 3 years. She is very clear about everything and she makes sure that everyone understands everything before moving on. However, I would try not to miss any of her classes because she does go over a lot of material. I will definitely take her again. Two thumbs up!!! :)

Absolutely my best professor. Once you get past the accent (which really isn't too hard to understand), her explanations in class make sense. If you have any issues she'll tell you to come to her office and she explains things even better when you go to her office. The tests are easy as long as you do the practice and ask for help when needed.

Angela Agocs is one of the best math teachers at SSC. Her accent is mesmerizing to listen to, and after a week you'll get used to her accent rather than typical English accent. She is kind, willing to help students, and explains the class material well. Just be sure to use ALEKS, since it's easier and won't make you go insane. SHE IS BEST TEACHER!

Professor Agocs is amazing. I have taken her for every math course I've taken & she is definitely my favorite professor. She genuinely cares about her students & is always happy to help. Grades quickly and fairly, tries to give as much partial credit as possible. She has a bit of an accent but you'll get used to it quickly. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

She is the best teacher at SSC! Statistics is tough at first, but just memorize the few formulas and you're good! She is very helpful and does her best to help everyone get a good grade. Just do the homework, STUDY, STUDY, and STUDY, and you'll pass! Best teacher at SSC. And yes: the chili pepper is true!

Professor Agocs is super sweet, but this class isn't. She even admits that taking math online is difficult. She does answer quickly to emails and held campus review sessions and offered extra credit for some tests. I wish I would've taken her at campus versus online. She is a great professor!

Statistics itself is very easy anyways, and she makes it even more easier by being clear and helpful. Her accent is very understandable and I actually like it more than common accents. I would definitely recommend her.

She can be somewhat confusing sometimes, but otherwise, if you pay attention in class and do the homework, you should come out with an A because tests are basically just the homework questions that are slightly changed.

creates videos that augment the homework. practice test parallel actual test, grades promptly, no trick questions, you know where you stand grade-wise at all times, homework is straight forward, quiz's are fair, she is quick to respond to emails, truly cares how the class is doing and is helpful when needed. would recommend her.

I took this class online but had a good experience with this teacher overall. She gives partial credit on test as long as you get at least a 40% ( 10-15 points per test). She also give up to give points for correcting your tests afterwards. She allows you to retake 1 test. My main complaint was the ALEKS program she uses which is not the best.

If you have the choice to have Prof. Agocs as your professor YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LUCKY YOU ARE! DO NOT SECOND THINK IT ENROLL FOR HER COURSE!

She is amazing. If I could take her for all my math classes I would. I'm terrible at math but by the grace of professor Agocs, I learned and I enjoyed doing math during the semester... she gives quizzes out of the blue but you have one before each test, so be prepared at all times!... but, IF YOU DON'T TAKE HER FOR STATISTICS, YOU'RE CRAZY.

First, she has an accent, she even tells you at the beginning that if it bothers you to switch out. She a really good professor and is also pretty funny. The only downside is the homework, you have to figure out most of it on your own. Its MyMathLab, and most of the homework is stuff she doesn't teach and wont be on the test. Great Professor!

Despite her accent, Agocs makes the material easy to learn and understand. She also brings a bit of quirky humor into her lectures. Class features 4 tests, a couple quizzes, MyStatLab homework, and the final exam. Tests and quizzes are easy and not nearly as difficult as the homework is. She really cares about her students.

She always replies to emails and she's super sweet. If you have a question on anything she will answer it. I'm not great at math, hence the course I'm taking, but I have a B so far. She gives a ton of extra credit just for doing the work. Everything is on MyMathLab and she posts step by step videos for each type of problem. Would take again. :)

Agocs is a GREAT math professor. Her caring shines through even to her online classes! She understands math is tough for people, like me, and taking this course online was pretty straightforward. But she answers your questions in a timely manner, she gives partial credit on tests as long as you show work, gives EC, & gives video lectures to help!

Professor Agocs is probably one of the BEST professors I have had at seminole state. She gives you videos on all the problem types. Practice tests have everything that will be on the test. There is extra credit for each test up to 5points and partial credit for missed questions. I took her for MAC 1105 and am taking her again for MAC 2233.

Professor Agocs is wonderful. She's very clear and makes sure you understand everything before moving on. She does a review session before every test and gives you worksheets and practice tests to make sure you know what you're doing. It's not an easy A you don't have to work for, but if you go to class and pay attention you'll do just fine.

She was a good teacher but her accent sometimes threw me off. Her tests for the most part are easy and she is generally very clear with what she wants you to do.

I have always been awful at math but I am doing amazing in Stats. She is very clear and helps us learn the easiest way to do the problems.

Prof. Agocs is a one-of-a-kind professor. There's no denying that Trigonometry is a difficult course, but this professor is someone who is more than willing to help you. I would most definitely recommend her. Her class was a joy to take, and I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Professor Agocs is an amazing teacher. I ended the class with a 99.35 and got a perfect score on 3 of the 4 tests and the final. Although I did so well there were about 10 people in the class who failed the course. You MUST attend every class and do MyStat lab. If you are wiling to put in the work you will do great but if not, don't take the class.

Awesome Professor! Gives in class work examples along with her notes, very straight forward about the class and always helping students whenever she can. Also, gives extra credit for every class, excluding final. You are allowed to retake your lowest test grade or use your final exam grade to replace your lowest test grade and gives less homework.

honestly she has been one of my best math professors by far. she does have an accent but its easy to understand if you don't like it then you miss out on the best class. she answers questions to the best of her ability and if she doesn't understand it then she lets other students help you out no matter if she's in the middle of her lesson

I took her online Concepts of Calculus class and loved it! She is available to help you even on Saturdays & will make an appt with you to do an online session if you need it. I liked taking this class online because if I did not get it the first time, I can rewind and listen again as many times as I need to. Great teacher! Definitely take her!

Professor Agocs was probably the best Professor I had in all my time at Seminole, even though I took her online for 2 semesters (Calc and Stat). She genuinely cares about her students and will do her best to help you get to where you want to be and understand the material. I wish there was another course I could take with her.

Ample extra credit. I took this course online. College algebra is a difficult course, but an A is very possible.

I took this class online through ALEKS, and it was a lot of assignments/objectives to do every week. 3 tests count for 60% of your grade and the final counts for 20%, so you really have to do well on the tests to get a good grade. That being said, she adds a lot of points back for the tests and some extra credit based on your practice test grade.

Professor Angela Agocs is an amazing teacher. I definitely prefer her method through ALEKS, versus Mymathlab. She's very understanding and helpful, and explains everything. I took her online and it was the best. Do the practice tests, because she gives you extra credit which is then applied to your exams. It really does help.

I was scared to take this course online, but professor Agocs really made this course manageable. She is great at responding to emails, even on the weekend. She reaches out to the class weekly with useful tips. Make sure you do the practice test. Overall, I am very happy I took her class and even happier that I was able to pass the course with a B.

Made a 99 A in MAC 2233 - Concepts of Calculus for the Summer 2017 semester. Took the class online, off campus, with all exams proctored at my local university. She is very nice and responsive to all emails. WebAssign was required for this course. She had demonstrations in Canvas covering the toughest problems on WebAssign. Best math teacher ever!

Loved the class and teacher, but needed a lot of hard work ethic to balance full time job and this class.

I loved her class. Homework and notes were assigned through Hawkes Learning system and it was super easy to understand and get through! Agocs was great at responding to questions and she gave us room for extra credit. This was my first time taking an online math class and I finished with a B! I'd recommend her to anyone.

I'm not a math person at all, but I loved this class! She made it so easy to understand the material in her video lectures, and I was able to do reasonably well. You have to take 3 big exams though, but they're not very long. I love the way the assignments were set up and graded.

Prof. Agocs is a true gem, she is very knowledgeable and answers quickly to your concerns. Hawkes system was easy to follow but requires your patience and practice to understand some topics. Proctoring tests and exams at the college are not that hard as the Prof. gives you plenty of opportunities to practice. I definitively recommend Prof. Agocs.

Prof. Agocs is the most caring and most wonderful teacher in the whole Math Department. I had her for STAT online. Class consisted of 5-10 homework problems a week, one at-home quiz a week, and 3 test-center tests. She tries to give you as much credit as she can for questions and she is easily accessible outside of the classroom.

Prof. Agocs is very caring instructor. She gives many options to learn from. Some of her recordings had some mistakes but other than that the class was easy. I had to go on campus for the tests.

Took the aleks version online. Offers extra credit on every exam, exams are hard. Her accent can be difficult to understand at times, but you get used to it. Taking her again for statistics.

Online class, professor is always helpful with any questions, answers emails promptly. Stats isn't easy and you've to study but review the practice exams she provides, do your hw and you'll pass.

I was afraid of this class, but if you watch the tutorials, it's an easy A. Lots of chances to do well. Homework can be done until you get 100%. Quizzes can be attempted 2x. She drops lowest scores and gives extra credit on every exam.

I took her for College Algebra and Statistics. She responded quickly to ALL of my emails. This Statistics class is better online because you use Statcrunch and all of the lectures are prerecorded videos. Algebra was more challenging for me but it was manageable because we used ALEKS. I highly recommend her!

Professor Agocs is amazing. Even though the class is online Professor Agocs is very responsive to all emails. I have emailed her at 11pm and got responses within minutes. Lot of homework but the videos are thorough. She gives extra credit after each test and drops 2 quiz scores so you have multiple attempts to pass. Do the work and you will pass.

Professor Agocs is fantastic. She cares and is more responsive than any instructer I've had online. She is also understanding. All in all great professor. Students giving her a poor grade were probably lazy. Its a math class, prepare to study. Tons of oppurtunity for extra credit and 2 attempts on your tests. What more could you ask for?

Really sweet. ALOT of homework, even on test weeks which I did not like. The practice tests are just like the real tests which are helpful. She provides her own video examples when the program we are using does not explain it clearly, which I found so helpful. Expects you to memorize ALL the crazy formulas which was really challenging.
