Her class is interesting and easy, and she makes it fun

She shouldn't be teaching at the college level. She has a movie night and brings popcorn -- are we 5? If you actually need to know anything from this class, don't take Angie. She'd be a great elementary school teacher.

Angie is funny; sometimes has naughty jokes but all in good fun. Tests are from her lectures. Requires:3pg video reaction paper, 3 pg. key term paper, & 5 hw. All test multiple. Final not cummulative. Enjoy!

Awesome instructor. She has interesting homework assingments. One of them is the Horny Hornet, where you have to make an ad about yourself. She's great and makes her class go by fast.

Everyone should be required to take this class with Angie teaching it. I took her for 2 semesters and I absolutely love her! She is so funny and she is very open about everything. I learned more in this class about myself and other stuff than I ever learned throughout my life. This subject is so awesome too! I think its a lot better than Psychology

Angie is wonderful, I highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking of taking a sociology class

Yes, this is an easier class but so then are a lot of classes. Some are meant to be easy. Take Anatomy with Sapiro and you will be THANKFUL for the easier classes because if they were ALL difficult, you wouldn't be able to take more than six units at a time! Besides, how hard does one want Women's Studies to be?? I know women can be difficult...

such a sweet person, and a really good teacher for intro soc. her passion and dedication show and are catchy. she covers everything well, is very clear, and while she can be simplistic at times, i'm not complaining. it was an easy A!

Awesome teacher...guaranteeeedd she'll make you laugh at least once each class meeting. Tests are super easy, just show up to class and you should pass with a C or better.

She is so easy. I passed the class with a B without having the book. She explains everything well and is so funny. 4 tests and weekly hw. No presentations. Everything in her lectures will be on the test so show up everyday and take notes. Does not take attendence, but show up for your own benefit.

She is one of the coolest instructors at FC. She is easy. There is some work but it's not hard at all. As long as you show up and try you'll pass. I really recommend her. She's a lot of fun.

i do not know what the other rater is talking about...her test were easy to read, and very understandable...maybe he or she should have study..also i had about 3 classes with her already, and i got an A in every class...also you learn a lot..maybe he or she should have payed attention...easy way to get an A is taking notes..

Angela is Great!* This class is very interactive and fun. You'll learn a lot of Interesting Facts about Marriage and Family as well as People and couples in general. She's really an awesome teacher. Class usually gets out 10-15 mins early too* Not hard on doing work either. Take her class! You'll enjoy it*

I LOVE ANGIE! Her class is SOOO fun and SOOO easy. I actually look forward to going to her class. I recommend her for any soc class. If you show up to class, and get involved in her discussions (which are so interesting and interactive), you don't even have to read the book to pass the class. I actually never opened my textbook and got an easy A.

i took her for 2 different soc classes and i HIGHLY recommend her. you never have to open your book. most of the quesitons on the test are common sense so easy A. just pay attention to the stats (memorize them). other than that, it's a great class and so much fun. i learned a lot without studying my butt off. great experience. AWESOME!

I expected going into this class that I would learn interesting things in the world of Sociology. Little did I know, that I now know more about her kids, her crazy theories on how man is bringing women down, and info on her other classes than Sociology. Thanks Andrus, for waisting my time. Take this class if you want an easy A.

Angie is a nice person but not college quality. she sees her classes as a place to talke about her pesonal life and somehow make it look like sociology. it's true, her communication skills are very limited for a college professor but i have to admit she has a lot of passion for whatever course she thinks she's teaching.

Angie's an AMAZING teacher. I love how she refers to her personal life to demonstrate the lessons she's teaching. All you kids that complain that you don't learn sh*t, maybe you should take your head out of ur a**, stop b*tching just to boost your college stereotype, put down the reefa and maybe learn to be human. All the people saying that she isn't a good quality teacher need to LISTEN to what she SAYS. She relates a lot of what she's teaching to her personal experiences; this helps you REMEMBER it while taking the tests. I learned a lot from her class, and if you pay attention to what she's really teaching, you will too.

i had angie for sociology of death and dying and it was one of my best college experiences. not only is she funny, warm and genuine she is passionate and more than knowledgable on the subject she teaches. i have always been interested in soc. and this teacher took my interest to a new level. all teachers should be like angie andrus.

Nice enough, but the class was taught at a sixth grade level. not even close to college level. if i hadn't forgot to turn in one of the homework assignments, i would have aced the class with a perfect score. i was not challenged once, not one time, in the course of this class. hopefully the other SOC teachers hold the bar a bit higher.

angie is so EASY, its ridiculous. she give us like 5 homework assignments the whole semester and like 5 test. you dont even have to show up for class, you can just copy off someone elses notes and study off of that.it is so easy, i have an A right now. her lectures are amazing and every interesting because they relate to everyone.TAKE HER!

I loved Angie's class when I took it. It was easy and fun. The problem is I decided to be a Sociology major, transferred, and realized she hadn't taught us ANYTHING useful. I ended up taking the class again to get the basics for my field. Beware

Professor Andrus was the best teacher I have ever had in college. I just transferred to Fullerton in the fall and i took two of her classes. Socioloy of woman and Sociology death and dying I got a B in both classes. I would have gotten an A but i didnt study much for the test. Great teacher though!! Highly recommended!!!

I took her for Death and Dying when I was still interested in being a Sociology major. She was by far the best Soc teacher I have had yet, and I've taken alot of Sociology classes. The work is easy, she's funny, she's kind. BUT you NEED to be in class to pass. It's not like being there is such a chore though, you'll want to be there every week.

Best teacher in Fullerton College. She's passionate about what she teaches and does a great job passing on the knowledge. Took her for Introduction to Sociology and Sociology of Women, both classes were great but I loved how passionate she was about Sociology of Women. She makes you proud to be a WOMAN =)

Angie's class is 'straight talk', she's honest, loves teaching and most important loves her students. She loves teaching. For Sociology of Women, it is important to ensure that young women or women of any age understand the political overtones when it inflicts on their rights as women. That needs to be discussed more overtly in class.

shes very clear with notes and homework assignments. Very easy to follow along. Just make sure you do your assignments and read the book. Tests come from her notes, but pretty much is followed from the book in her own words. She's very enthusiastic and its not boring!

A great class to learn from especially since Angie makes it extremely interesting. Movies, notes, and all kinds of worksheets makes the class fun. Its not a hard class, but you do have to do the assignments, they aren't hard. All her work is enjoyable and you do learn allot from her!

Class is very entertaining. Although it was difficult 4 her to control da class @ times. Easy B, A is very likely. Just do all ur homework don't miss out one, it really counts. The homework is very simple and honestly can take up to 5 minutes. U can go w/o the book.

Marriage and family was awesome. Super easy. Take good notes, do the easy articles and "homework" which are easy fun projects and you got an A. Super nice super sweet, funny AND smart. You learn without realizing it! Take her!!! The text not critical but the Articles book kinda is, but you can borrow it at the library (its on reserve)

My favorite and best college professor ever! I took her summer class and it was GREAT! If you didnt read the book you can still get Bs on her test, but if you read the book, definate As on your tests. Just do all the homework, no busy work, and youll get all the points you need. Super easy! just power read through the chapters prior to test. remember the percents and numbers she tells you, and there is no reason not to get an A. Oh and a 10 pt extra credit assignment at the end.

She does assign one paper to write using 10 key terms from the semester but its only 3 pages and you can write about whatever you want. Take her!

Andrus is super great. She makes it so easy for you to pass. She gives you a sheet with all assignments and their worth, so you know whats due when and you can work ahead of time and keep track of your grade. Her tests are straight from lecture, which she gives you notes. Very easy to pass and she is so sweet and smart!

Angie is a good teacher. I would say that this is an easy A class, as long as you do all your homework, reaction papers, and you get somewhere around a B+A- on all your exams. She is not a tough grader at all. Just write something that makes sense on your paper and you sure will get a perfect score.

One of the best professors at Fullerton College. She is funny and makes class fun and interesting. not much homework but when there is it is very easy as well. most of the time she dismisses class early. she even outlines the notes for you. but still read the textbook to have a higher chance of getting an A on tests. Best SOSC professor! She is extremely nice and is there for you. I have taken angie 3 times during my years at Fullerton College, will continue taking more of her classes.

SHE IS AMAZING. Makes class super fun, and she has a great sense of humor. Her notes are precise and the test revolves around them and the book. However, i didn't have the book and still got the A. Will get extra credit if you never miss class.

Definitely one of my favorite teachers. She makes the class come alive with her sense of humor and her care for her students. The tests are easy as long as you study. The textbook is not mandatory, but I recommend reading it before the test to increase your chance of getting an A.

Angie is really cool. She delivers material well; her class is never boring. The class is interesting as well. She's funny, and respectful of students' opinions. Tests are not hard if you read the book and go over study guides. Minimal notes are needed, as long as you print the study guides/outlines. She's great, I'd recommend her!

Pretty solid professor. All you have to do is show up to class, turn in your homework, and pass the exams. It's pretty simple. She also tells so many interesting stories relating to marriage and family. It's great!

Take her no questions she offers 10 pts of extra credit and will find ways for you to get it! Homework and Reaction Papers is what you need to do but its fun and easy! Take her if you have the chance.

Angie Andrus is a MUST TAKE professor for sociology! Really clear on her assignments and also gives study guides to go over with students. She is not only a great professor, but is looked at as a great mentor. She is an Alumni, so she understands the student life. SHE'S AWESOME. Trust me.

Prof. Angie is very talkative of the course material. My mistake was to purchase the textbook, poorly studied for the exam, and didn't turn in one assignment. You will do well without the text if you print the lecture notes, turn in all hw assignment bcs their worth a lot of pts, and if your full time student I recommend you to go over your notes

Angie is possibly one of the best professors I've taken. She gives 5 HW assignments along with 3 reaction papers which will total to around 150 points and then gives 4 tests that are 100 each. The test are super easy and if you do all the assignments theres no way you can't get lower than a B. We are also Facebook friends and keep in touch.

There is a bit of homework from the two textbooks but they are more based on your opinion than anything else so they're pretty easy. As for the exams, STUDY THE OUTLINES. They may seem useless but they are lifesavers!! I didn't really use the textbook but that's just me (the additional reading is a MUST HAVE tho!!!)

Easy A as long as you attend class. All exam's are lecture based, always gives you an outline of what's on the exam; few homework assignments (super easy, 1 page.) Her lectures are great and she's really sweet. Her instructions are simple to follow as well. Hoping to take another one of her classes next semester.

She is the best professor! If you pay attention in class and look over your notes, you'll pass. I love her stories that she tells in class. I loved this class.

Professor Andrus and this course have changed my life! She is the best instructor I have ever taken and really cares about the subject matters she teaches. This is my third class with Angie and I plan to take the rest of the topics she covers as well. Made me want to be a Sociology major!

She went through some slides fast at times, but I really enjoyed her class. Her grading criteria is clear and if you have a low test grade she recommends talking to her so she can try to help. She is super passionate about teaching and would for sure take her again

Took her course online over the summer and loved it! She is a very kind person and even with the online class she made sure to give everyone feedback and comment on your submissions or discussion answers. I really liked how her online class was organized and if you don't mind using Connect and Canvas take it online 100%.

Easiest A you will get for any sociology class. Her homework is short and simple to do, tests are easy if you study the chapter handouts she makes you print, no midterm, but there is a final which is quite easy. She puts a lot of emphasis on equality for women, and has her own ideas that some students might not agree upon. But overall she's good.

If you are looking for an easy A this is the class to take. The lecture notes are your study guides and she makes the lectures fun! The homework assignments are to be no longer than one page double-typed and are really easy. If needed, she does give you chances to earn extra-credit. I highly recommend taking her!!

I have taken her intro class, death / dying (lots of guest speakers), & will take her marriage class. She gives chapter outlines which exams are mainly based on and gives all info you need, doesnt post powerpoints tho. She's so nice & her class is simple/straightforward just do the work. Offers extra credit. Would definitely recommend her classes.

Straightforward class overall. Did not require much effort outside of class. She provides you with a outline of each lecture and actually does the notes for you. Exams are all multiple choice. Did have some homework assignments which were essentially one-pagers.

Took an online course. Showed up each week for discussion and homework. Easy A. Literally that simple. Just keep up with deadlines and you're good.

Prof. Andrus is a GEM and I absolutely loved her class. I normally struggle w/ online classes but she put a TON of work into structuring her class to help you out. You HAVE to read the chapters and powerpoints assigned because they are crucial to passing the exams. She cares a lot for her students and is super supportive when you need help. ASK ?'s

This class with Professor Andrus is an easy pass. I took her online class during summer and it was lecture and discussion board heavy. Her lectures are long and she tends to go off on tangents when it comes to explaining concepts, but they're somewhat informative. Expect lots of discussion boards and replies, the tests are easy!

I adore Professor Andrus! She is hilarious, inspiring and caring. The class I took was Dying and Death and the class is so interesting and engaging! Its an important topic and I recommend this class for everyone! Don't be afraid of it! She assigns reaction papers and grades very fairly. I cannot stress enough how much you will enjoy the class!

Absolutely Amazing.I took her fast pace class so each week was a lot of homework & discussion boards, but was absolutely manageable and I was taking 14 credits. She does use textbooks, I got an email saying I have to pay for the yr, but I think that was an automated email bcuz it was free.VERY easy, her quizzes and exams are easy, just DO THE WORK.

Professor Andrus' SOC101 class was a breeze. The lectures were engaging, and the assignments were straightforward. For study prep, I found Unstuck ai and the provided lecture notes to be incredibly helpful. Definitely recommend this class for an easy A!

I love Professor Andrus and I am grateful she was able to introduce sociology to me. I took her class over the summer and while it was fast paced, the class itself was interesting and easy to understand. I love how she stresses the many different career paths sociologists can take. She is super caring and understanding as well.

Professor Andrus' sociology class is the most organized course I've taken. Weekly outlines guide lectures, and modules are clear. She engages with students, has a great sense of humor, and sends check-ins twice a week. No late work is accepted, but expectations are clear. Highly recommend her class!
