BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD! I love that she cares! She loves children and loves her students! The class was VERY easy, it was pretty much common since. She is what made the class the best! We did a lot of arts and crafts and played games. All 4 assignments were easy and fun! Learned a lot about children and the community!

She is the Best Child Development teacher ever. She is helpful with anything you need. The test are easy if you study the study guides she gives you you will pass with an A. She explains everything and she has unique ways to make sure you understand the work.

Take her online course.She explains the directions for each assignment crystal clear.There is a study guide for the exam,but she goes over it.I passed this course with an "A" and there is work to be put in with these assignments and participate on the discussions.Don't lag behind OL.Office hours always available.

She is a very helpful teacher. She will help you in anything you need. No test or quizzes. A group project is essential. Flashcards on 10 words are due mostly every week. Only a few papers to write-all about children. Enjoy.

Beck is literally the best professor I have ever had! Her class is so fun, but you learn so much from her lectures and little fun assignments we did in class! Just make sure that you pick a table with people you get along with the beginning of the class because you will be working wthem all semester. Easy class, but super informative!

The lectures were great she is very clear onto what is expected of her students . Homework is easy as long as you read the book and if submitted on time you can re-submit for more points. You just have to show up and you basically pass. Her class is always full because students want to be there

GOOD teacher, she silly & out there. she is very helpful & care about her students the only reason i got a C in her class was becuz i had missed alot. more than what you should miss, she should have dropped me. but she didn't, she understood my situation i tried to accommodate me by putting me into her other , but declined and therefore my grade!

Why anyone would take a CD/CDEC class online....?All the experience is in the classroom... About Prof. Beck: - Very energetic - Always happy to help with essays About the class: - Table activities in every class - No tests/exams - A LOT of writing assignments: Journals and simple research essays. Don't be scared though, it's not bad!!

Would have an essay every 2-3 weeks, but other than that assignments were fun and hands-on. She gave us a lot of activities to do in our "families". She is very comprehensive when unable to turn something in. The textbook isn't needed to read, but it's important for class since we have to search terms to add to assignments.

Professor Beck is a great Professor! I took her for CD 113 and CD 110 and would gladly take another class with her again. She is very caring and really helps her student pass the class. Her lectures and projects are straight to the point.

she is a great professor! she really shows interest in your grade and progress in class and gives many opportunities to pass the class. she is always willing to answer whatever questions she is asked and seems really interested in all her students and what she teaches. one of the best professors i have taken so far.

Ms. Beck keeps in touch by email and on the canvas site. We had a reasonable timeline to complete our assignments and she gave very specific feedback on all of our responses and assignments. I learned a lot about ages and stages for children. The baby book project was fun; we got to be creative in how we wrote our stories.

I took Ms. Angie for both her on-line classes, CD 110 and CDEC 161. It was one of the few on-line classes where I felt the instructor really knew me and cared about how I was doing. Angie was available through email and always replied. I liked that we used modules to know what assignments were due and Angie always left comments on our papers.

Angie is an amazing professor. She gives hands on learning activities, small homework assignments pertaining to the chapters, and willing to help you. She is sweet! There's always group work, so if you are a procrastinator, do not ruin someone else's grade.

Beck is a awesome teacher . Took the online course. Best class ever. Read do the assignments and you will pass. She is awesome in feedback and is willing to help. You do have discussions, quizzes and midterm and Final . But if you do the work you will be fine. I will take her again in a heartbeat.

Professor Beck is insanely caring. Online work wasn't a breeze but it definitely never took over 2-3 hours a week to do, which is what you would spend in a class regardless.

I HIGHLY recommend this professor! She is very caring, understanding, and a ball of energy. Attendance is mandatory. As usual, if you miss more that 3 class days she will drop you. Plus I recommend not to miss class because this class is only once a week and you can miss so much work. But don't worry, the work is easy. I took this class at 8 a.m.

I took her online course and she was a wonderful professor. For nearly every assignment she would give you feedback that would feel confident in what you were doing and make you feel good as a person. I truly appreciated that and wish more professors would do that. Three essays, an is more of an assignment based class.

Ms Beck is one of the most organized professors. All the modules are laid out; most of the assignments she gives you a choice on topic and she always gives feedback. I have never had a professor who demonstrated such a level of commitment to her students. The class is organized and the layout is concise and easy to read. Ms. Beck's personality shows that she really cares about the students. There are plenty of opportunities to submit late work or revise when you don't do so well.

I loved my CD110 classes with professor Beck. I had a tough year and she worked with me throughout it all. She is super understanding. She also made the material super fun to learn with cute projects. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking to take CD classes.

She is the sweetest, most caring professor I have met yet. She leaves good and comprehensive feedback on every assignment and accepts late work for full credit. Assignments and quizzes are also super easy. It's an easy class; easy enough to maintain an A all throughout the semester so if you get the chance, enroll in her class!!

I took CEDC 113 Child in Family and Community this Spring with Professor Beck. She is such a caring individual and is always available to answers questions, gives you feedback, and keeps you motivated. I love her. She is sweet and one of the most passionate teachers, however she gives ALOT of work and I started to fall behind in my other class because I was busy with her assignments and all the reading . If you plan on taking her you will learn but if you want to take another class with her then good luck she needs to ease up on the assignments.

I really felt that Ms. Beck cared about her students. There was a lot of work but when I did the teacher interview it was all things that the teacher talked about doing in her classroom. Angie gives a lot of feedback on assignments and you can revise and resubmit.

This is such an AMAZING prof. if i could have her for all my CD classes i would take her. the hw is very simple and she gives you 1-2 weeks to complete and you can turn in late. but if your ever struggling which you shouldnt bc it sooo easy just talk to her shes very understanding

Breaks down the material and explains it very well. Has lots of useful experience and examples. Clear grading criteria, no surprises. Assignments are proportionate to the points given and are a reasonable amount. It was a fun experience.

She's a good professor it took her online just know that she wants everything double spaced and font 12 if it's not double spaced then she'll return the assignment back and tell you. Other than that she's a really good professor she gets feedback.

Professor Beck is a wonderful, caring instructor. The class is fairly easy as long as you stay on top of the readings and participate. unstuck AI was great for quick concept review. Definitely would take the class again.
