An amazing professor with a fresh postitive attitude and a personality that encourages you to be a better writer. I look forward to taking more classes with her as the instructor and highly recommend her for all aspects of writing. She grades fairly and lifts you up rather than beats you up when you need improvement.

Took Angela for English 1A online last fall and plan to take her this fall for 1B online. She is fair, helpful, funny... pretty much everything you could hope for. If English is a class you struggle with, she is the teacher to take.

Quite a bit of group exercises, but they helped me get through the papers. No tests, handful of papers as expected with an english class. For someone who hates English, her class was easily survivable.

Extremely nice, funny, interesting and cool. I highly suggest taking her she almost made me want to change my major to English, which I was not previously much of a fan of. One of my favorite teachers from Chaffey.

Had this class online! Awesome Professor - tough, really tough, but put the work into it and it will be rewarding. She keeps office hours and is really very helpful. She pulled the best out of me. Didn't care for the textbook, but the class was great and thought provoking. Three essays and a final plus weekly reading responses.

I took Angela's online course and found it fairly easy. However, I guess that depends on the student. She is very helpful and gives great feedback on papers. I enjoyed her so much I just signed up for her English 1A course.

Awesome professor. Wrote essays on topics that were interesting and that made you think. Great personality and fun to be around.

Took the class online. Very responsive to any questions asked and gives lots of feedback for all written assignments. Each essay does require a bit of work so don't wait until the last minute to start one. Overall very helpful and informative.

Very helpful. She is a tough grader on the essays. I took her online class. You still learn a lot in there. I thought I was going to get a low B but I got an A because of the side work she gives. Just complete them!

She prepared me well for Eng. 1A. She made learning fun and encouraged an exciting atmosphere in the class. I'll be looking for her for Eng.1B. Highly recommended.

Great professor

My new favorite teacher! She wants and encourages the students to do well and she's very patient. You can tell she really loves English and teaching it. She's very easy to talk to, and the group assignments were always fun.

Bartlett is a very good teacher, and extremely down to earth and caring. She is patient and fun, you do need to be in class or you could get behind on certain projects that you could get credit on. She doesn't like people to leave class early, she finds it very disrupting. We had 4 essays and a journal and a final, I would highly suggest taking her

She is a great teacher that is always there to help her students. Wish I could take her for Eng 1B. Uses the book a lot but it is very helpful. No quizzes or test and she barely gives hw. I suggest you take her it will be your best and most helpful class.

She is amazing!!!! the lectures are very interesting, shes funny and is very caring for her students. She has office hours and will give great advice to help you with your essay. She gives about 4 essays through out the semester. take her class!!! you won't regret it!!!

Angela Cardinale is an amazing instructor. She has a great attitude in and out of class. She is always willing to help her students. She gives great feedback on how to improve assignments, and her grading is reasonable. Expect to work hard and write a lot, but leave with your back unbroken and in its place. I would take Cardinale's class again.

The best English professor at Chaffey College!!!! The class consists of reading an assigned book and writing 4 essays. The final is a in class essay and you have plenty of time to finish. Take her if you can.

I took this class online for Spring 2016 and loved it. Everything is clearly written out and if you need any help or have questions she is there for you. There were 4 essays and a 5 paragraph final. We had the chance to revise one of the essays for a better grade at the end of the semester. She's someone who wants you to succeed.

Professor Cardinale is amazing. She really cares for her students and is very approachable when help is needed. She takes the time to help you and answer questions. I took the class over the summer online. It is a lot of work. Reading, annotating, and posting in forums. We had 3 papers and a final. It is a lot of work, but absolutely do-able.

This class was over summer, so even shorter than a typical class. I was expecting a heavy work load when in reality only had three essays, and a few weekly question and answer topics. She gave extra credit for your essay getting reviewed and will let you revise an essay at the end of the course. Highly recommend!

A decent teacher. I had no problems having her as the teacher, even though I was overwhelmed by the essays. Writing essays just was not a strong skill for me at the time.

Great professor, very inspirational and I would recommend her to anyone. Make sure to go to class, do your work and you should be successful in her class.

She gives lots of time for papers but doesn't just give you paper after paper, she mixes it up with smaller assignments that aren't very difficult but usually interesting. She sweet and funny, very understanding.

Great teacher. She takes the time to communicate with you if you're having any issues. I took the Summer18 online course and it was fast paced, but it wasn't too difficult. I highly recommend this Professor.

Took SU18 online and her rubric is very clear IF YOU READ. She has everything laid out exactly how she wants. The feedback she and my peers gave was amazing because I needed it. We only 3 essays which all werent fairly easy to me but they werent hard. Take her , you won't regret it.

Online Eng-1A: Posts lots of videos to teach + walk you through assignments. Gives you lots of time to complete each assignment. Has extra credit opportunities. Easy, short open-note quizzes. No heavy textbook use, just a few short articles / stories. DLAs can be done online. Convenient for people who work / have a hard time commuting to school :)

I loved loved loved this class. I would absolutely take it again if I could. This was one of my first creative writing classes and it was life changing. She is easy to talk to and always willing to help her students, and ex students, improve their writing. she has 3 big assignments but she guides you through them, making you a better writer

Professor Cardinale was very sweet and made sure to explain each essay very clearly. She encourages you to ask for help and she gets back to quickly and even has some great resources for help. I am not the best writer but she graded very fairly

Do not take this class if you procrastinate! Her summer class was a lot of work. 3 essays and 7quizzes (open book super easy) Overall, shes a great professor. Just not for those who are lazy!

Prof Angela is not only an excellent English teacher but a passionate student advocate and mentor. I took her course in 2011 and can still count on her as a prof to look to for academic and professional advice. Her class is dynamic, she is funny and always available to help students. Chaffey is lucky to have her.

Professor Cardinale is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She gives such great feedback and is such a real gem. Her class isn't hard and she will work with you. Honestly, no complains at all. Amazing teacher!!

The course was well orginized and easy to understand and follow, It also didn't take to much time out of my day where it was a struggle with my other classes.

She's a great professor who genuinely cares about her students. She's very helpful, communicates well, and makes the class approachable. The coursework is manageable, and she's a fair grader.

One of my favorite professors, she is understanding and caring about the success of her students- you just have to communicate. As for the class, it was pretty standard. She always gave clear and genuine feedback (never generic you could tell she payed attention to her students). Showing up for the zoom calls helped me.
