I took online Human Geography over Winter Session. She made us do webcam videos! Winter session has to be very condensed so there were a lot of discussions (be prepared to get political) and grades right on top of another. Sometimes tests were only available on a Saturday or Sunday which was annoying because I have a job. Otherwise, she was great.

Dr. Cuthbert is such an intelligent, kind, and caring professor. I recommend her Human Geo course to everyone! She is Canadian and has some really cool stories about her living in Canada. Also, she has a farm and grows her own food. Overall, she's amazing and you should soooOoo take her classes

She is a very sweet woman, but she often injects politics into the course which can get old depending on where you lean. When discussing current events, the classroom teetered on the brink of war for some people. Tests are pretty easy; half of the answers come from an optional online review activity and the other half comes from her PowerPoints.

very political If you dont agree with her VERY far left views then its best not to comment in class. good lecturer though plenty of grades Map tests suck because you MUST spell the countries correctly. No word bank or anything. Geography in the news is a waste of time. Shes ok, many wont like her. Only prof teaching 120 at Millersville sadly

Tried to take a 100-level GEOG class over Winter to knock out the Diversity requirement. Not only does she expect you to buy Wiley Plus, but she expects you to record videos and submit them for credit. I don't own a webcam, and do not trust the professor or the university to understand the security risks they present. Dropped class due to this.

She spends more time then Is reasonable on her own political beliefs. Makes it known that shes a leftist. anyone who disagrees even slightly will see that reflected in their grade. Her bias is clear in class and she doesnt allow for a diversity of opinions. Unfortunately 120 is required for many students and she is the only professor offering it.

There's also 1 individual presentation that you give in front of the class. She tries to make the class as interesting and interactive as possible. Def would recc

I've had Dr. C multiple times. Just a warning she is extremely left leaning and her classes can get political even when she holds back. But she is a very kind woman. But for reg dev. her exams are horrible for people who have learning issues associated w/ memory. I failed every one and she was frustrated as I knew my material and aced assignments.

Dr. Cuthbert is a good professor. As long as you do the work you should end up with a decent grade in the class. I never got lower than a B on her exams and I did not study much. If you listen to her study tips and look over notes the class will be easy. There is one oral presentation that every student needs to give in order to pass the class.

This class is pretty easy but has some tedious work. There's a lecture for each chapter and then some reading and questions to answer afterward. Some of the sections could have 1 question or 12-3 part questions. It's not terribly hard but not fun either, though you get 3 tries on all questions, most of which have 4 answers. Tests aren't bad either.

Was nice at the beginning until you respectfully voice your opinion and she ignores emails as well as gives rude responses. Unless you are extremely liberal, you will not get along with her as this class feels like a political course. Not responsive to anything other than her own opinion. Very disrespectful.

Dr. Cuthbert was a pretty good professor for me. She is Canadian so she has a really good knowledge base about Geography, and has many personal stories that she ties into her lectures. She is very personable and kind, but also pretty tough academically. You definitely will need to set aside some time to study for this class if you want an A.

For her UNIV103 class, she is pretty good. There is a lot of work for this freshman seminar compared to other classes, but you learn a lot. There is a lot of writing and one group project. She is nice and is helpful during office hrs, but you definitely have to put the work in to get an A. Not an easy A class, but overall a good experience.

Horrible professor. Had a mental breakdown in class and walked out because students didn't read the assignment long enough. Papers due every weekend after her lectures which aren't difficult but she can be a harsh grader. A lot of the work done in class seems pointless. Very liberal. Also shows "favorites".

She is a really nice teacher but the tests are really really hard. I've had 2 or 3 mental breakdowns because of it. The only way you can pass is if you study a LOT. Sometimes the definitions for the tests are not on the PowerPoints so you have to make sure you pay attention to class and not miss a single detail.

As for class itself, there's 5 tests (mostly memory-based), hw every week, and a short presentation on a recent news article of your choice. Fun class, would recommend!

I'd take notes and set aside lots of time to study. The class is based on a few assignments/exams, but she offers to look at drafts and study material. 10/10 if you're into transportation
