Class insanely hard, but prof laid back and tries to help and be funny.

Seems to really want to help. Class is very hard, but she tries to make jokes to help you remember things. I wish she would have study guides and less papers though.

She about killed me, but she was good.

She gives slides and allows you to use the book for quizzes. People who are intimidated just don't want to work. There is only one worksheet to use a certain formatting, one paper, and a group project, other than the quizzes. She treats you like a college student and doesn't dumb it down so you will get the same education as "Harvard".

Could this class be any more easy? Prof is nice but doesn't take any bs, so people say she's mean, but if you just talk to her you would know she really does want to help, just dont bs her. Hello! Open book tests and next to no other work?

Chick can be scary, but only to the dumbasses that dont wana work. Makes sure we understand stuff and not much work.

She is a good teacher , but comes off very tough and itimidating , and she does not take any bull! You do learn and she gives u the opp to earn alot of grades so that u can make up for a poor quiz. Another professor I had only gave 5 grades total, so Fiore helped ,she is fair on grading. Dont let her scare u away.

Class is interesting. She's a good teacher, but I can see how some people might find her intimidating: mostly those who don't want to work and want a free ride. However, I personally think it's good that she "teaches like it's Harvard". She's trying to prepare you for life. It isn't always easy! She provides PowerPoint slides and explains well

She's actually really nice, but because she doesn't take any BS people think she's mean. Never knew what she was going to do next in class, which made it interesting. The final project was fun and an easy point booster and there wasn't anything that would kill your grade if you screwed up. I messed the paper up & still up for an A. Take her class!

Very interesting class. Learned alot of about ed psych. Good interactions with students and final project was tough in groups, but learned more than just reading the book.

Excellent prof! Tons of help, everything is posted, and who can beat open book tests?? I love the activities! She was always around and always answered emails. Highly recommend!!

The last reviewer must be on drugs cuz idk of ANY classes where there were only 2 people left. I liked her cuz she got rid of the wastes. You're in college now and God forbid you WORK! Oh, and APA is just to reference stuff and lots of majors use it, but then again, you;d have to LEARN something. Don't let the slackers scare you off. She's good.

I have her now and she's super cool. One paper, final project, and open book tests...can't beat it. She's actually gotten our quiz scored posted the same day we take the quiz. She's tough, but seems fair. Really laid back and kinda funny.

I like her. She gives us study guides and handouts to help every week. Nothing is too hard. I like that there is no one thing that will nail your grade. We have had our quiz grades posted on like the same day we take them. The activities in class are cool!

Knows a lot about educational psych. We did lots of activities and learned about the systems we will be working in. Liked the variety of stuff she taught us. Good prof. overall!

Good professor that is super laid back. Everything is laid out for you and she seems to care about her students. I would take her again.

She is a good teacher that will go out of her way to help you. As far as her being fake, (I don't agree) who cares if you're learning? Would you rather have a "real" teacher who didn't give you the notes, open book tests, study guides, and help or one that did, even if you didn't like her personally? This is about the teaching, nothing personal.

She hands u evrythng u need 4 the class. Interesting class and liked the activities. Good teacher.

She is awesome! She totally went out of her way for me. She helped me both in and out of th classroom. Great teacher!

Really simple class! I earned over 100% because of the easy quizzes and ass-loads of extra credit. She's really nice too, just don't spit subflower seeds in class!

To Angela's students. Get a grip!!! First, Angela is not that hard on you - I promise. She is very fair and goes out of her way to help students. The only students who do poorly are the ones who are not committed to their own educations. Frankly, I think Angela lets her students get away with murder half the time.

Really nice lady, but class was hard! She tries to help students and is always available to help. A crapload of extra credit to help out. Highly recommend if you wanna learn sumthin.

After reading some of the comments...boo hoo! As an older student I appreciate that she is trying get you to realize that REAL LIFE makes you follow directions, turn things in on time, and actually WORK! I LIKED that there was a high standard. Just wait until you little whiners get out into the real world when your not so darn "special". Grow up!!

A lot of work, but since going on to Pitt professional year, am glad it was a "real" class and not some blow-off. I use the material from the course and am ahead of some classmates in the program because she treated it like a REAL college class. She always answered my questions and I liked that she let us be creative. Good prof!

At first I was afraid of this class and the prof, but as its almost the end of the course its actually been alright. I personally think the course is interesting, however.. ms fiore goes over everything very quickly and expects you to know and understanding everything right anyway. She has made some rude comments toward people, but she's nice..

I took this course in the summer and it was no joke! The syllabus is insane and the instructions very detailed, so there is no question what she wants. Some students hated her, but they were just slackers and she didn't take their crap. I actually learned something! Good prof if you actually want to learn!

I have this online class now and am angered at the ratings. The due dates are IN THE SYLLABUS. The assignment instructions are posted with such detail it's tedious. I am an older student & honestly think it's the younger "entitled" students that have a problem. I weep for the future of education if these students become teachers. Don't be a slacker

Hard as hell, but u learn. Instructions and syllabus long, but has everything in it. Takes too long getting things back though.

Very hard class. Excellent Professor! would not hesitate to have Professor Fiore for any of my classes.Straight and to the point.

Do NOT listen to the terrible things about her! I was completely wrong about what to expect from her! She is not the crazy "witch" people say she is. She prepares you for a regular college by being challenging.mNothing was unrealistic about her expectations. I transferred to a university and believe me, I never would done without her.

I am in the internet class now we get our grades fairly quickly, there is a ton to read since she can't lecture, and I have had every email and question answered pretty quickly. I would have rather had this class on campus and I hate the group assignment, but I do like the professor a lot and she does seem to want to help. I would recommend her.

Really organized and everything done in a timely manner. I didn't realize how much harder online classes would be. There was so much reading because the "lectures" we're posted. Take this class in the classroom if you can to get more out of it. Very much available for questions and always willing to help. I would take her again.

I have had her for several courses and I noticed all of her poor ratings were from PSY 101 or an online class, which means they wanted something EASY and got an actual professor. In the previous comment, I was there for that it is NOT what she said. She said grades are based on comprehension, not "effort". So, no "everyone gets a trophy"...grow up!

She gives so many opportunties to do well. She is clear in her lectures, takse time for student questions, and even allows a "cheat sheet" on exams (as well as "hints" for the pop quizzes and some exam questions). I personally like her and wish other students would stop whining and just study.

She tried some new things this semester and it was great! I hope she keeps changing up things to help the students understand the materials. I loved that she listened to our suggestions!!

She made sure we understood the concepts and didn't just "cover" the material. Also, she allowed us to wor n groups on the exams to simulate working in teams of professionals to come up the correct diagnosis. Don't get me wrong, this class was VERY difficult, but she really tried to help the student and I LOVED the final paper.

I like that she is trying new things with us and will stop and explain if we ask her to. It is a summer class so it's super-fast, but with her, i feel like i can handle it!

Awesome teacher. Her course is tough and requires work. Read the material, study and you will be fine. She post more than enough study aids to get you through. Our final was open notes and we got to work with a partner. She is Awesome! I highly recommend her.

This was the first time this class was offered and it was tough! She was very honest about what kind of stats would be used and treated us like adults. She was more than fair about testing and homework. I loved how she really cared more about our learning than "scores". On top of that, she even brought snacks every week (and gluten free too!).
