Amazing teacher and cool as hell. The only professor I have taken a smoke break with! By far the best I have had in my 3 years at Northern. I also took her ENG 101 and ENG 200. As someone stated before, just don't take advantage of her and you're golden.

Great teacher. One of the best I have had. Very clear and lots of fun. Write your papers and make any corrections that she requires and you will pass with flying colors. She makes writing a paper fun. I actually looked forward to going to this class.

Very easy professor if you take her for ENG 101. She makes writing papers virtually painless and dedicates a good majority of the class meetings to personal conferences where she goes over your rough draft with you one-on-one. If you are not signed up for a conference, then you don't have to attend class that day. I would highly recommend her for English!

she is very opinionated. i was anti-abortion (and expressed it clearly) but i did not fail in fact i got an A in the class. she is very helpful and the class is really easy but if you are offended fairly easy do not take her because she can do that.

I thouroughly enjoy her classes. The material is easy to remember becuase she has a way of making it memorable. She allows herself and her students to be open and honest about their opinions. You can tell that she truely cares about you and your grade. She might not be that hot but she has a gorgeous personality! I HIGHLY recommend her!

I love her! She is so freaking awesome. You have to read to do good, turn in papers on time (or tell her and she'll give you a reasonable extension), she takes attendence, makes class fun, tells good jokes/stories lol, her classes are just overall a good experience for everyone.

Enjoyed the way she teaches class. She is an intense person who believes in what she teaches. This class was truly enjoyable.

She was the best teacher I have had on Northern's campus so far. I loved her! I have taken three classes from her and I am only a sophomore! She wasn't easy, but she wasn't hard either. If you just participate in class and do the assignments, you should get an A! If you can, take her! She's AMAZING!!! :)

I loved Angie. I had her as a freshmen for College Writing and Women's Studies and I also took her Intro to Lit class. I did well in all of them. She makes you feel comfortable right away and encourages her students to express themselves-you don't just listen to her drone on for 50-75 minutes. I have never forgotten that woman! She's awesome.

she's a firey feminist, but encourages everyone to have their own opinion... but if you have one different than hers, be ready to back it up. great classes, great professor.

She is amazing, you do need to read your stories and things but there is no reason not to pass it with a A. She is really funny and caring. Treat her good and she will be super nice. I'm taking her for ENG291 and Womens Studies next semester. She is that great!

Angela is an amazing professor! She is always willing to help & doesn't care to make that extension for you as long as you talk to her up front. Our class did get canclled a few times, and that was always nice. I plan on taking her classes again in the futre and I strongly suggest you take her WMS 151 class. It's Awesome!

Take her as many time as you can. In her 291 class we watch movies and that is it.

She is super sweet! There is no textbook required!!!!! We basically watched movies and then wrote essays about them. This class really allowed me to think!

Angela Hesson is by far one of the best professors NKU has to offer! She is passionate about the material she teaches and actually cares for each and every one of her students. She's one professor I plan on keeping in touch with after graduating in May 2010. Not only is she a brilliant professor but a great person in general.

Angie is a great professor. She enabled me to use critical and synthesis thinking while reading literature. She opened my mind to new ideas regarding the stories we read and the films we watched. If you have the chance, take her. Her passion for teaching is evident. It was a shame the class was only 8 weeks long.

She is amazing. I took her this summer, her classes in the spring and the fall always fill up first. If you can't take her for that reason wait it out until you can, it's worth it and you won't be sorry, plus you'll probably get an A like I did.

Angela Hesson is absolutely AMAZING!!! I have been here for three and 1/2 years and BY FAR she is my favorite professor. Not only is she extremely intelligent, she teaches in a way that makes class fun and students actually WANT to participate. Her teaching style is unique and very effective. Loved this professor. No tests, you write a one page paper for your midterm and final. You get to watch about seven films during the semester and have small discussions about the elements in the film. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Angie was fun, you watch a few movies and write a paper. Watch a few more movies, write another paper. She does have a bad back and cancelled at 8:55 for a 9:00 class, quite a few times. She reads your papers before they are due and if you make the changes you get an A!!

The EASIEST Prof. I've ever had! Very Sweet woman. Willing to help with papers. All we did was watch movies and wrote papers on them. She did have a habit of canceling class like 10 min or less before it started, thats the only downside tho. No text book required. If your looking for an EASY A, this class is for you!
