She is one one of the nicest teachers ive had. She knows her subject and makes it interesting. She gives lots of praise on papers and exams for doing well, which is not hard to do. All attendance and homework grades are added to exams so if you do them its nearly impossible to do badly. My lowest grade was like a 104.

LOVED HER!! She is the sweetest professor. She really cares a lot about her students and is willing to help. She gives extra credit for attendance and she also assigns assignments. I was really sad leaving this class. I had gone in for an easy A, and came out with a new perspective. I would recommend her, unless you don't like laid-back classes!

She's a really awesome teacher. She's a bit unconventional, and is very laid back. She'll help you with more than just sociology. A flaw she occasionally has is that she's unorganized and isn't very technology knowledgeable. Other than that, her class is extremely easy and interesting.

She's a really great teacher. Love the way she talks, relates a lot of things to us as students. Very easy tests, she gives the study guide answers the class right before the test. HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking her class!!

Mrs. Marson is probably one of the best teachers at ETSU. She cares 100% about her students. Textbook isn't really required and tests are super easy. I came out with an A+ in this course. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Impossible not to make an A. Didnt even buy the book, you can turn in work for the first test on the last day and still get full credit. Really nice and helpful, super easy class. Gives you all the answers to the test before the test. Class was supposed to last 1.5 hours, we never stayed more than 30 min once. Highly recommended.

Took her for an online class. She is AMAZING! She cares so much about her students, responds quickly to emails, and I definitely suggest taking a class with her every chance you get. It's nearly impossible to NOT make an A in her class.

This was the most fun class. Ms. Marson is the best. I learned a lot and had fun learning. She really cares about her students. If you had a good reason for being absent, you could still get roll points if you email her and let her know. Tests are super easy if you study the study guides because she gives the answers. Highly recommend.

Super easy class. The only reason you could possible fail would be:laziness! She goes the extra mile to make the class fun and interesting. Goes over the test beforehand and encourages all her students to have fun. Definitely a fun class!

BEST TEACHER EVER! Angela Marson is such a beautiful person, she will go out her way to help any of her students out. She learns most of her student names which is crazy given that she teaches hundreds of students. Easiest class you will ever take. There is no way you can't make an A in her class. I'll be taking her next semester for Sociology.

Very easy. Definitely take her. If you show up, you'll make an A. Made above 100 on all tests. But if Will is her teaching assistant, don't attend on his lecture days. INCREDIBLY BORING. She's also very liberal, so beware of that.

Ms. Marson is the best!You watch a lot of cool films in here and besides those days, you always get out early. Make sure you come on days she takes attendance and you never use the book, so don't buy it. This was a very fun class, if you get the chance...take it!

She's not hard at all. As long as you show up on roll days and movie days you'll do fine. All her tests are pretty much common sense. Made 100+ on all tests plus she gives tons of extra credit. She's also really nice and willing to work with you if you feel like you're struggling.

This class was so awesome and it taught me so much about diversity . The class is not too hard, the test are a little on the complex side, but the class is good overall.

Mrs. Marson is an awesome teacher. Her tests are absolutely simple and if you need a boost in your GPA, definitely take one of her soc. courses. Only problem is that in the end of the semester, I look back and wonder what did I exactly learn? I will highly expect myslef to take another course of hers. Sociology majors,I highly recommend her!

Funny lady really nice

TAKE HER!! Change your entire schedule if you must, but take her by any means necessary! You will get over a 100%, and she will not fail you, only give you an I and let you finish later. Nicest lady I have ever met, and absolutely hilarious. Even if you don't need it, take this class!! My favorite professor I have ever had!!! TAKE HER TAKE HER!

I took her online and it is tons of fun. There are two to three discussions a week, one usually includes a video. Three tests and extra credit videos. It is not hard to make an A. I learned a lot also, it really shows how humans relate to each other. Very interesting!

Mrs. Marson is the easiest sociology teacher on this campus! She gives so many bonus points for attendence that you can basically have an extra 100 if you come to every class. She gives study guides for the exams. Very nice person!

Ms. Marson Was the best. She was there for you if you had any questions or problems. Just get the book (for the 2 test), follow along in the discussions, and watch the videos every week and you will get an A! Sometimes watching and responding to the videos gets you extra credit!!!! If you don't get and A then you probably will on make it in college

As long as you study you will make an A. Coming to class is part of extra credit so show up to class but its not necessary to pass the class.

My absolute favorite teacher I've had in the three semesters at ETSU. By far the most entertaining! She's an admitted hippie. She genuinely cares about her students and the well-being of everyone. MUST Take Her!

She is a lot fun and really easy. She's a liberal and hippy, so she's perfect to teach sociology. She gives TONS of extra credit, and shows lots of interesting documentaries and movies. My only problem is that she doesn't really take control of the class, so sometimes I can't hear her because people are talking too much. She's really sweet though.

A complete joke of a class. I come to class to sign the attendance roll, not learn. If you want an easy A, then take her class! Get a B on the test and bring do her extra credit and you will receive a grade over 100%, as did I and 50% of the students in the class. She is hilarious and fun to be around too.

Ms Marson is absolutely wonderful. She really cares about her students and their grades. Attendance is a must and WILL help you grade. Most of the test are from the book and from films in class. You have to actively try to fail this class.

Ms. Marson is an awesome teacher and she cares a lot about her students. If you need help (With ANYthing) shoot her an email and she WILL help you. Do the "readings" for each test period and take the quizzes for each chapter and you'll do great. She is understanding for absences, but it isn't ok to skip class all the time.

Ms. Marson is a character for sure, but she's really sweet. She wants to make sure everyone makes an A and will do anything to make sure that happens. Her tests are really easy if you listen to her lectures and do the online quizzes (seriously just googled half the answers on those). She likes to give a lot of extra credit too.

She is a GREAT professor!!!! She gives so much extra credit that someone could make a 60 on a test and come out with a 90 instead. Super sweet and sympathetic towards her students. She really does care and will make sure you make an A+++ We had an overall bad exam in the whole class and she said whoever made a C or below has to retake it!

Marson is great! She gives you her phone number first day to text her if you need anything inside or out of class! She is extremely helpful and will answer any question. She has the worst handwriting in the world but she flows with the book so as long as you have that open and follow along during notes you should be fine.

She's very interesting and interactive, but you do need to actually study for tests. She gives 1 reading per test period as homework. She gives EC opportunities for your test, and you have a second chance to take it if you make below a 70. I loved her.

She's so funny and sweet. She would probably give you a kidney if you needed one. But she can be a bit scattered as a teacher. It's still not that hard to do well. She doesn't ask for much for it being a college class. If you take her you'll get some great laughs and stories. Would take again!

TAKE HER!!! This class is easier then your easiest high school class. She is amazing and loves for students to actually learn and not be stressed out by grades. Marson is incredibly sweet. She would give you the clothes off of her back if you needed! She will do anything and everything in her power to get you an A in the course (which is not difficult at all) I HIGHLY suggest her. You will easily pass the class. There is absolutely no reason anyone should fail her class. You would have to try to fail . Attendance is for a grade so make sure you are there, but here class is interesting and she's super funny so it's not bad. She is also really lenient and she truly cares about her students. Professor Marson was everything I had heard about her; funny, intelligent and caring for each and every one of her students. The class was interesting and she made her lectures worth the trip to class. If you do the assignments, extra credit & go to class you'll make an A.

I was told take Marson by my roommate and said I wouldn't regret it. And boy was she right. She is awesome, hilarious, and wants the best for her students inside and out of the classroom. Test are by far easy as long as you do the study guide and pay attention. Don't get in a habit of skipping since you never know what day she's going to take roll.

Although we have never met, I can tell that you are truly a wonderful person, who loves life, loves what she does, and really wants her students to do the same. I believe that you really want your students to thrive to explore, learn and navigate through society with a better understanding of who we each are as a people. It makes me sad to leave!

Best class ever! Yeah it's a very easy class and didn't require much effort, but I still love going anyway because her lectures and stories were always interesting. She's lived most of the things she teaches. She tells you exactly what is on the tests. Attendance is a large portion of your grade so show up please. 10/10 Would take again!

She gives out a lot of easy extra credit work to make up for absences and bad test grades, she is highly accessible in office hours, and willing to negotiate schedules to work with you. I took Angela my Freshman year at ETSU. Her class is really easy but that does not mean you will not learn anything. She explains everything very well and is well versed in Sociology and Anthropology. Easily one of my favorite professors at ETSU. You will not regret taking this class!

I had a really tough semester this year, and Ms. Marson was literally the most caring and understanding professor I had. I had Professor Marson for Intro to Sociology, Easy A and great professor. Very understanding and lenient. Takes random attendance for 20 points, i missed class all the time and still passed this class with flying colors. You don't need her lectures to pass, they don't make sense most of the time anyway.

This is literally the easiest class I have ever taken. I never went to class (but you should because attendance is a huge part of your grade) but the exams are all common knowledge and she gives so much extra credit. She is a very sweet lady, but her lectures make no sense.

This online class is super easy if you just need a gen ed requirement. You have two discussion boards per week and there is a ton of extra credit. You don't have to look at the notes to write the discussion boards and you can write a solid paragraph and get an A. Very easy!!

I loved her class! She was easy to understand, shown signs of interest in her students, assignments were easy, exams are easy to pass if you do the reading. She is fun, and participation is required but fun to do!

Attendance points are given randomly, so just make sure you go to class. She gives so many extra credit opportunities. Also, she gives out study guides before the tests that let you know everything that will be on it, and if you still make below a 70 you can retake. Definitely recommend this class. You can easily make an A.

Dr. Marson is someone you must take for Sociology. She is super sweet and very funny and really cares about her class. Lots of extra credit and retakes available if for some reason you don't make 100s on everything. I didn't always agree with what she said but i definitely picked up a few things in her class.

Angie is terrific, one of my favorite professors out there. She's hysterical and literally gives you every opportunity to make an A. If you don't walk out of there with one, it's completely your own fault. She gives tons of extra credit, and her tests/quizzes are easy. If you don't do well, you have numerous opportunities to make them up. Love her!

I loved having Ms. Marson as a teacher. It was always interesting lectures and never once did I ever want to fall asleep. If you come to class and do the super super easy online quizzes you will pass with an A. As long as you take notes on the day she reviews for test, you should make a 85-100 on test. Great lady. As a dual enrollment high school student, I was afraid of my first college classes but honestly, this was easier than a majority of my basic high school classes. There are no clear due dates so make sure you stay on track and don't procrastinate. She will tell you it is the easiest A you are going to get and there are tons of easy extra credit!

Ms. Marson is an absolutely fantastic professor. She gives a ton of extra credit and barely any work for the class. Just show up and listen. There are like 15 quizzes and 4 readings due but they are super easy. The rest could be completed by a baby. She helps with answers on the exams. I took this class online as a dual enrollment class during high school for a general education requirement. You have nothing to worry about if this class is not for your sociology major. I have not paid attention and I was able to bypass a lot of the films we needed to watch, but it is very easy to pass the class if you don't need to pay attention.

if you are not ready for some of the funniest things to hear someone say this might not be who you. i loved this class so much i had a really hard end of year with a few deaths and she took such good care of me even though she did not have too. i was inspired to minor in soci because of this class, 10/10 would take again!

Shes very hard to follow while she lectures but she posts a powerpoint on d2l. She also let us email/text her if we have a question on the tests or quizzes. She responds quickly.

I took Ms. Marson back in 2018, and I still remember her. She was AMAZING, and I felt like I needed to come back and give another review. She is very laid back, and cares about your other classes as well. Just be honest with her and she will work things out with you.

If you need to take Sociology, Ms. Marson is the perfect option. Her assignments are straightforward and easy to follow. She cares about her students so much, and we all love her. She will forever be one of my favorite professors. Please take her if you can, you won't regret it!

Ms. Marson is absolutely amazing. She gives a ton of extra credit. She has you watch lots of interesting documentaries and gives you funny stories relating to the topics. She sends you reminders when tests or quizzes are due. She's just the absolute best! I would recommend her to every student.

Ms. Marson has been my favorite teacher I have ever had. She is very caring and kind, and she obviously cares deeply about her students success both in and out of the classroom. She tells amazing stories and you can learn a lot from her, more than just sociology of course. The class is interesting and easily laid out. I would totally recommend!

She is amazing, grading is very clear and you would have to TRY if you wanted to fail. Exams are easy, assignments are straightforward. Responds to emails very quickly and is super open.

Ms. Marson is amazing! I would definitely recommend if you are just trying to get through some gen-eds. I loved her commentary and her lectures were not bad at all. She rocks!

Professor Marson is a charismatic and caring instructor. While the class may not provide an in-depth sociology education, it's an enjoyable experience. I found unstuckstudy helpful for test prep alongside the free textbook materials.

THIS LADY IS THE TRUTH!!

This was an online summer class and was condensed to about 5-weeks. Even with that, Proferssor Marson made it very easy to succeed. She had a lot of videos recorded for lectures that you should defiently watch. Also did not have a set deadline for work to be turned it. Not a very hard class, especially if you do the work.

I loved Marson so much!! She made the criteria for the course very easy. I took this during the winter so I just had to fill out a ton of discussion posts. I actually learned a lot in this class and about the world!

The best professor I've ever met. Couldn't recommend her more, so sweet and cares so much about her students.
