I thought Angela was VERY helpful and I would take her again anytime. She made the class interesting too, as much as Busniess Enterprise isn't interesting, she helped it a lot.

She is by far the best teacher I have had at MCC. She just expects you to attend class and do the work. Would reccommend her to anybody taking Business 1010

HIGHLY recommend! Had her virtual class (SU 09) & was totally impressed with her! Provided lecture notes every week; responded quickly; was really involved in the class & knows her stuff. If you read the chapters, do the work (which wasn't hard), & participate, you'll get an A - AND actually learn something. Thank you Ms. McLean! Fun 8 weeks!

I like Angela a lot. My grade was over 100% for most of the year. I feel she could do a better job preparing us for the tests, but overall it's a very enjoyable class and is not very difficult. I don't understand why anyone would complain about her. If you don't get at least a "B" in this class you didn't try very hard. And for 40 she's very hot!

first encountered angela for busn 1010 and got an A in her class without buying the textbook. i relied solely on the pp slides she makes available. she doesn't trick people on the tests. do well on group assignments/projects and u will do fine. have her for busn1210&mktg120 and following the same styles to pass her classes

She is an excellant teacher. Has the class planned out and prepares for her lectures. I would recommend her to anyone.

Angela is enthusiastic. She is nice and a good teacher. The only part I would improve on is the group project. I found it a little too hard especially since I had a bunch of morons in my group and had to shoulder most of the load. Overall she is a good teacher.

Professor Angela is a very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful instructor. She knows her subject well and she tries to make it fun by adding interesting conversations and research to the boring Powerpoint slides. She is highly encouraging of her students' business pursuits. An easy A if you take the class seriously and follow instructions.

Angela is GREAT! I am about to finish her online class! This is by far the most organized class I have ever had at Macomb! She wants all of her students to pass, and never fails to get back to any questions you have ASAP! I can honestly say that I learned A LOT from this class. She does her best to make class FUN! GREAT TEACHER. She cares about her students and she does everything to see that they do. Her exams were extremely fair. For our personal business plan, she was there to guide you and help you anyway she can...even gives great personal encouragement chats. Awesome teacher!

I had Professor McLean my first semester at MCC. I absolutely loved having her. She's very thorough and laid back during her lectures. The best thing about her was how she structured the group project. I highly recommend her as your Business Enterprise instructor!!

Took this class online. Grade is based on discussion board posts, multiple choice quizes, essay exams, and two case studies. I found this class to be less demanding than it seems to be. This class was an easy A for me. The instructor seemed friendly and graded fast.

LOVE HER!!! I wish I could have her for every class! She is very helpful and the class is really easy if you keep up with lectures which she also posts online.

She is one of the best prof that I have had since attending Macomb. She is a prof who truly cares about her students and is willing to help them out. I took this class online and one of the things that I loved was she posted her lectures, which was a great help in learned the material along with her power points.

She was a great online entrepreneurship teacher, her syllabus was interesting & as hands on as you can get for online courses. She expects a LOT of participation and is strict on duedates. She expects extensive submissions. Not an easy A but overall a fair grader & great online teacher. Read all of the chapters, and answer all questions in detail!

8 Wk Online Class – Anywhere from 3-6 Discussion posts due per wk mostly opinion based but need understanding of material – She can be tough when grading assignments but mostly fair IMO - No time limit for weekly online quizzes – 2 Case Studies that are interesting but a decent amount of work – Subject matter was surprisingly engaging! Recommended

This is a great teacher, but She says that she does not give A's. She has marked down every single one of my papers with no feedback at all as to why. She says that she does not have time to give feedback.

She's a very hard grader, but it's easy to get an A in her class regardless. Just study hard and try your best! A lot of class discussions and some group work.

I loved her personality. She kept my attention by making the classroom experience fun and enjoyable. Her tests can be difficult so I would suggest studying frequently.

She was a great teacher! she was good with grading, she made class exciting and fun to go too. she would make sure you understand and you could tell she really wanted us to succeed in the class. just do all your homework and you should be fine.

She was very good. I was impressed that she actually graded assignments, followed the rubric she posted and was very fair. She assigned relevant discussions and videos. I would not hesitate taking her again for any other class online.

Mrs. McLean was by far one of the best teachers I've had throughout my college career. She is very personable, her class was enjoyable, and she made it very clear what was expected of us on assignments and exams. As long as you show up, listen, and study- this class should be a breeze.

I love this teacher, really down to earth and anything you need help with she's there. I have taken her for many management courses, so if your major is business get to know her! You have to do the work to pass, no exceptions! What you put in, is what you shall receive. Do the work, study for the tests and you should fine.......

I've taken many Business classes at Macomb and she is by far one of the best. She is very fair and lectures are fun and informative. You won't want to miss her classes. You have to work hard for the grade you want. Classes are fun and interactive. Do the homework, the study guides and participate and you will you do just fine.

McLean is great! Her lectures were not boring and she knows her stuff. Just pay attention, take decent notes and DO THE STUDY GUIDES (not graded but help)!! Only 4 assignments (TURN IN ON TIME) and 1 presentation. I would say the only negative is she loves to talk about herself which can get annoying. Overall, fabulous professor.

One of my favorite professors, hands down. Her lectures were informative, complete, and very entertaining! In class assignments were very easy and fun, and homework assignment requirements were very clear. Also, she gives you a study guide to fill out, use it! Read the chapter, use the study guide, review the notes and the tests are cake.

McLean is awesome. She is encouraging, interactive and implores her students to participate. Everyday she was energetic and taught the class with passion. Read the text, do the study guides (thoroughly), pay attention and you're golden. Homework assignments are fair, there is group work. This class isnt an easy A. Try hard and you'll get an A.

This is one of the hardest classes I have ever had to take. Professor Mclean is in no way shape or form an easy teacher, every week of her class is a challenge but she will try to help you through. Most grading criteria is vague and give little explanation to what is needed. To Get an A on anything (which is rare) one must go above and beyond.

Professor McLean is so nice! You don't get a ton of homework but you do in-class assignments every class for points so you should show up to class. She only gives you one homework assignment per unit and she let us use a crib sheet on our 4 exams. shes awesome 10/10 would recommend. had her for human resource management.

Professor McLean cares about her students. She expects you to do your best and put forth the effort. Lectures were kept interesting because she had real life examples/stories to relate back to the lectures. She is a tough grader, but always lets you know what she is expecting. Hands down, Macombs best professor. She is a good teacher. Her exams are based on her study guide, if your review the study guide you will do good. She is not easy, but she is good. She is very thorough and you will learn in her class. She made me love Managament and no wonder I took 5 classes with her.

From study guides to practice exams to pre-recorded videos - she did it all. I passed with a complete understanding of the course too. Such a wonderful teacher ��

Professor McLean has been the best teachers I have had at Macomb online hands down. Do not get me wrong her class is not a walk through the park. If your looking for an easy A class this is not it. She cared so much and really wants you to absorb the info to use it in real life. Great teacher! There is a group project too.

MGMT 1010 wasn't too bad. YOU NEED THE BOOK, especially if it's online! But if you just read each chapter and take even half-way decent notes you'll pass. Also, READ HER DIRECTIONS! She's likes when you answer ALL the questions on discussions and papers. It's not that hard, just follow the directions and make sure you cover all the points.

Assigns a good amount of work in and outside of the class. She goes out of her way to make sure that everyone understands whats shes teaching. She helped me get a strong grasp of everything and I have a health condition that makes it hard for me to focus and understand things at times. Truly one of my favorite teachers. Strongly recommended!

Second time taking her, had her for MGMT 1010 and at first the class can be tough but if u really read the chapters and follow her lectures it gets easier. For ther rating were people say that her grading isn't clear that's not true. she provides a full detailed chart on for each assignment on how you gonna get graded and the point you will get.

Our class was via Zoom this semester and I loved it! Professor McLean really went out of her way to incorporate as many of the "in-person" experiences as she could with this learning environment. Great discussions, clear rubrics for assignments, excellent feedback, very responsive, and fair grading. I would absolutely take a class with her again.

Be prepared to work for your grade.

Professor McLean is extremely knowledgable and loves what she does! All of her assignments and tests allow for you to completely understand the material and leave the class with as much knowledge as possible. Hard grader but read the chapters, instructions for assignments thoroughly, and listen to her feedback and you will pass with no problem.

LOVED Professor McLean! MGMT 1010 was a remote class and she made everything on zoom so easy! Almost every class session there was a group assignment, online homework was kind of repetitive but it was easy and made you learn the material, one big project/presentation. I liked her class so much I'm taking MGMT 1155 with her in the Spring!

Weekly in-class assignments are only available to students who attend class. If you skip class, you don't have an option to make that assignment up. In-class assignments are also usually group assignments. The class overall is fairly easy and is more just based on real life experiences. There is a final project with a presentation.

It's not easy A professor, but very fair. She does give clear feedback why you did not receive top score on any assignments. The quizzes are very very confusing, every question has 4 options and sometimes what is presented it's very similar to the correct answer.

she is not bad you just have to see yourself, her online class is very organized and I don't normally do well online. just read the syllabus, watch the video she posts about the chapters then read the chapter for vocal words, then go right to the test. It's how I got an A. additionally, during the discussion, I include vocabulary from my notes.

This was my first semester on ground and professor Mclean's class is by far my favorite. Her lectures are very engaging and she helps with any questions I may have. She makes the class fun and she is hilarious. Defiantly going to be taking another class with her.

I've taken 3 courses with Professor McLean & she is by far my favorite professor at Macomb. She is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, & respectable. Her classes are not slack off classes, you must put in the work, but they are not overly difficult. She provides great feedback, and is a fair grader. If you have the choice take your classes with her!

I've taken 3 classes with Professor McLean & wish I could take more. I looked forward to her class every week (took one remote). She is caring, and willing to help anyone. You've got to participate, but that's how you learn! She helped me more than she will ever know & inspired me to continue with school. The world needs more professors like her!

She is a tough grader but gives you so many options to learn the material. For the Team project, which largely effects your grade, she gives you a layout and you fill in the information. She isn't accessible at a moments notice but if you plan ahead she'll schedule zoom/in person meetings whenever possible. She's hard but fair

Really don't understand all the bad reviews. Sure instructions are a little unclear and she's a tough grader but if you ask questions she is more than happy to help. She wants you to succeed, you just have to put in the effort. A LOT of the MGMT professors at MCC are terrible and McLean is by far the best. Just put in the work and you will do fine.

She is a great teacher. Management is always going to be with people, if you can't do group work then you shouldn't take business related classes. You are going to have to participate. She can be a tough grader but if you put minimum effort in it is not a hard course at all. She is so kind, understanding and explains/applies things wonderfully.
