I would never recommend anyone to take her class. She needs to learn how to respect her students. She belittles the class with her remakes. She may not be aware of the effect she has on her class. But it is not good. Also, I have witnessed her behaving in a very unfair manner. Crackling voice.

She has trouble teaching this course. To much emphisis on definitions and not enough teaching on ways to teach younger children. She is a nice lady, however she needs to find a way to help students become better future teachers. Because that is what the class is supposed to be for.
I absolutely despise math- and she has made it so much better by actually teaching it. I must admit though, her rules about not making up homework quizzes and tests are unfair. However, she is a great teacher. I reccommend her for this class.
I am horrible in math and she made it very clear and understandable for me. I recieved the highest grades I've ever gotten in this class, compared to several failing grades in the past. I've never understood any math better- would definately recommend!

u learn by application. she gives homework and quizes and tests all the time. so for us no midterm, just all the work, quizes and the final. if you do the work, ask questions (about the work!) and show up- you pass no probs. shes confident- dont be a moron and take it as an insult. if ur petty her voice is kinda squeeky (but i think it was cute).

DO HOMEWORK CHECKS!! Homework checks really help boost your grade and you can go to the math lab and check most of your answers in the back of the teachers edition that they have on file.
Angela is extremly helpful, since she used to teach highschool. She explains things very clearly, and gives many differant avenues to recieve a good grade. I hate math, but Angela helped me understand it.
Angela is very helpfull and takes the time out to make sure that you get how to do the work. Attendance is not mandatory, and she helps you with the quizes. Homework can be time consuming, but other than that, she is great.
As a person, she is sweet. As a teacher she was pretty lazy. I think what would have helped , was if she would have taught other than when we had questions. She never taught during our ONE day of class. She had us do work and tests only. If you aren't a person who can teach themselves, doNOT do blended math

I have read the most awful things about her but was pleasently surprised. Math is so hard for me and after hearing and reading what I did I was scared. She is GREAT, helpful and understanding. I am sorry some people wanted an easy A and didn't get it, but don't scare other people. Be responsible for yourself!
Good person, very sweet BUT lacks of experience. I think she would do a lot better if she was more experienced in the class she teaches. She is willing to help out but her tests and quizzes are most of the time something you don't study for. Don't recommend it. At least not yet, let her have more experience.
She made the tests harder then they should have been. Also there was sometime when she did not know what she was talking about.

Tests are ridiculously harder than they need to be and she is not the easiest to get ahold of. Be prepared to be confused and figure everything out on your own!
She seemed nice at first, but when things started to get hard for me she completely left me hanging. The tests were not at all like the homework and quizzes and when she grades she doesn't explain where you went wrong, she just marked it wrong... even when I asked for an explaination. Maybe she's better in person, but online it was a nightmare.

Most ridiculous grading scale EVER!!! Homework is 20% of the grade. If you got a perfect score on every test and project but did no homework you would get an 80% for the class. What is she grading her students on? Knowledge of the subject matter or the ability to do homework(busy work). I would not advise anyone to take her class. It is a joke.

I didn't do very well in the class, but it was my own fault. She's a very sweet lady, and a pretty good teacher. Also, unlike a lot of teachers I've had, she realizes that she makes mistakes and is open to students questioning her work. Honestly, I recommend her.
Her Calc class is very hard!! less than half the class passed and many dropped. you MUST know your material to even do slightly well on the tests, some things on the tests are hardly something you learned in class. She is nice and always willing to help but sometimes she didn't even quite know what she was doing. NOT an easy teacher!!
Her calculus class isn't meant to be easy. What's everyone expecting? A pudding cup and a A for no work? c: It all depends on who you are and how you learn. Ask questions! She's always willing to help!
For people looking for an easy Calculus teacher, you aren't going to find one. Calculus is hard and there is no magic person who is going to make it easy for you. Professor McNulty is a great teacher, always willing to help, never makes you feel dumb for asking questions. You will become BFF's with the math lab no matter who you take though!
Ms. Mc Nulty is a terrible teacher. Although she appears to be friendly and even a good teacher, you will soon discover that she is extremely rude and harsh as an instructor. Her tests are totally different from the material covered in class. Need I mention, she refused to give me an extension on my assignment when my book bag was stolen.
While I took this class online she was a pretty good teacher. Though the tests were difficult since most of it was covered on questions in the textbook and very few on homework. My biggest issue was the basic skills test. It's not her fault but the dept altogether making you retake the class if you fail. Overall good teacher.

I took math online. The homework is pretty easy. The quizzes are all online. You get to bring notes for the test but most of the time I wrote things down that werent even on there. All the homework does not match up with the tests well. As long as you keep up with hw and quizzes you will pass. Online was not horrible, but its a lot self teaching.
She was an amazing teacher and made a three hour class enjoyable!! :)
this my first time taking her and she all ready tought me stuff i didnt know or what other teachers wouldnt go or even stay on for a longtime.

Very good but not great. Put way to many questions on our final exam, twice as many as a regular exam but in the same amount of time. That didnt work out so well. Can use help sheet on all test including final.
She was amazing teacher. Very helpful. She knows what she talking about. We didn't use the book but we use my math lab. I LOVE THIS CLASS!!! i WOULD TELL EVERYONE TO TAKE HER CLASS.
I feel that I can easily understand the lesson when I go home and do it on my own. When I am stuck she is right there to help with a click of an Email or a few minutes of her time! LOVE HER
I would not recommend this teacher. She offers a page of notes that you can use on the test.No matter how much you study and put on that page, your never prepared enough. I studied so much for tests and struggled to get C's and B's. It's deceiving because no matter how well you do on the My Math Lab homework and quizzes, the tests don't match.
I love her so much, she is a great teacher and i really wish she was teaching math 124 this semester because i so would have taken her again!
She give TOO MUCH WORK... Unbeleiveable amount of work. The test was not easy, quizes EVERYOTHER week. She give extra credit, only if you get 100% on your homework assignment... She assigns a lot of busy work! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this teacher at all.
She's a teaching teacher so she's going to be a little hard. But she goes over everything with you and is always willing to help. You get extra credit for 100s on your homework and can have a cheat sheet on your test. She’s a hard grader but she wants you to be the best you can be. Ask her for help on the basic skills test you take.
This teacher although she comes off as caring and willing to help is hard to get ahold of. You can send her and email, but by the time she responds its too late. Her test are very challenging, although she did allow a page of notes for each test.
Very clear and easy class, she is always willing to help and give feedback. However, she does take homework pretty seriously so if you're one to not get it done, I don't recommend it. Relatively easy class, passed with a 97 without a problem. Another helpful hint is that I did not refer to my book one time, and you can't return it!!!
Unless you are naturally VERY good at math, do not take this teacher. She will give you simple practice problems during lectures then when the tests and quizzes come, there's complex problems that she has never even taught in class and if you ask for help, she says "do the practice problems", which are more problems you've never learned.
What is on the tests is not found anywhere in the textbook or taught during class lectures. She teaches a very simplified version of what one needs to know. Her grading is very nit-picky, even if the answer is correct. Textbook is vague and not helpful at all.

She doesn't play games. She tells you EXACTLY what you need to do to pass. She gives opportunities for extra credit. She gives her office hours for extra help. Anytime I e-mailed her, I received a prompt response. Negative commentors, in my opinion, didn't want to do the work - they just wanted an easy A. It's a college-level course.
Mrs. McNulty is very nice. All of the homework is mostly online except for a few extra worksheets here and there. You can send her questions straight from the homework problems and she usually answers in a timely matter. Tests are simple because she gives you a study guide for each one and lets you use a page of notes front and back for each.
I liked Mrs. McNulty. (I just wish she appreciated my AMAZING sense of humor more.) She cares for her students, but doesn't play games. If you procrastinate homework, WILL BECOME HEAVY! The first test I took, I got a D. Then I knuckled down and did exceptionally better on the others, which got me a 93% A in the class. Made some good friends too.
Great teacher! Assigned a lot of homework so be prepared for that. I didn't use my textbook since we use mymathlab for homework. She does give extra credit on the tests for completing all the homework for that chapter and on final if you complete all homework for semester. Highly recommended. Very helpful and very clear.

HW due every Thursday. She walked you through each lesson w/ notes. You could use a full sheet of paper (front and back) for every test. Had to take Basic Skills Math Test towards the end of the semester (3 attempts to pass or fail class). Be there for tests or she'll take 10 points off (doesn't matter if you have a doc. note) Good teacher overall!
Progesso McNulty is not a good professor to take if you struggle in math. She's bad at explaining things and the tests are very difficult.
She is a terrible professor. If you are a star student do NOT take her. She isn't clear at all as far as when it comes to replacing your lowest test score with the final. Long story short my final exam grade was higher than my lowest test score but it made my grade in the class drop to a C when she said it would help your overall grade.
Professor McNulty assigns way too much homework on my math lab. It's absolutely ridiculous. I was constantly in the tutoring center getting help because it was so difficult. She gets frustrated when you ask her any questions. And she is terrible at explaining stats

She lectures all class period, but does explain material well if one doesn't understand. She responds to emails quickly and is lenient when missing class. most homework is online and big part of your grade, can either help or destroy your grade. Not the best math pref, but wouldn't mind taking again.
Words cannot begin to encompass how awful this experience was. The Professor isn't helpful. the amount of homework is insane. Also the homework is easy and the test are incredibly difficult. Also she doesn't clarify her policy about the final replacing ur lowest test score, this screwed me over. Would not recommend this class to anyone.
Ms. McNulty is an excellent teacher that wants her students to succeed. She explains hard math concepts in easy to understand wording and works very hard to make sure everyone in the class understands the concept before she moves on. She usually explains each concept in at least 2 ways so it is easier to understand for the individual learner.
This Professor goes too fast, when you ask her too slow down, she states you can visit the tutor office, she don't do step by step to a problem. She will ask any questions, but you don't know what to ask, she gives you new material on Tuesday and quiz on it Thursday.
She is an awesome professor! As long as you pay attention and do all the homework, which is 1 assingment per class, it's an easy A. She always gives review guides that are just like the tests. So nice and caring and responds to emails quickly.

Great professor! I had to retake math 098 3 times and finally passed when I took her class. If you pay attention and do the homework the class is easy. Only lazy people think her class is hard because they dont want to put in the work. She gives all the material needed to succeed.
DONT TAKE ONLINE for the following A Metric Ton of homework on Mathlab(not user friendly) Tests that have vague directions + nothing like the HW or Quizes Extra credit based off hw score and quiz score(not in your favor when using mathlab for the 1st time you will miss) Shouldn't have to fear for my GPA if you give it the college try!
Very Enthusiastic about math. A lot of online homework. Missing one day is like missing a semester. Will go into detail and help you with anything you have questions on.
great teacher. everything is in-class note-pack (you gotta print them yourself) based instruction with online harder homework. the homework was the only aspect which was a pain. one sheet back and front notes are useable on each test and all 4 usable on finals. never used main book, Activities book used a few times. take if you understand math.
She was great. If you have any questions she will help as much as possible. This is homework heavy on mymathlab, but it isn't hard to keep up with. The sections themselves are based on math we have all learned in elementary and middle school. Just use good note sheets for tests and youre pretty much set.

It was difficult but I saw her almost everyday during her office hours and she never complained or acted upset to help me. If you didn't understand something, she never made you feel stupid and always made sure you understood! she loves what she does
She's awesome and goes step-by-step if you don't understand the material. I won't lie though you do have put forth some work but she make the overall understanding of the lesson worth it.

Second class i have taken with McNulty. A in both classes. Easy A if you pay attention and ask for help with things you do not understand. MathLab homework is sadly mandatory for these classes now. 3 tests with quizzes in between. She makes me enjoy math.
She honestly has no sympathy or understanding for her students. People who take online classes take online because they do not have much time. I for example went to school and work full time. She does too much for it being an online course. Her quizzes have material she did not explain in the lecture video and her mylab assignments are mandatory.
I'm so glad I took her course! High quality lectures, so sad when we went online. Quick responses to email and offers video call for office hours, flexible meeting times. Creates follow-along note guides for lectures that were really helpful. Notes allowed on quizzes and exams. If you do the work and ask for help when you need it you'll do fine
Class was worth 1000 Points. The test were 600 of those 1000. I had 39 homework assignments in my math lab and it was only worth 130 points total. 6 IR assignments roughly 11 pages each and were worth a total of 100 points. 7 quiz. timed exams. Proctors. Gives no extra credit. I busted my butt for this class to receive a C. Don't recommend.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER. This was the hardest math class that Ive taken. She assigns so many assignments and they arent work that much points.
DON'T take this class she is a horrible teacher. She post 40 min lectures for maybe 2 pages of notes. She gives 3-4 hw assignments every week due on Fridays at 10pm. The hw and notes doesn't prepare you at all for the test. The test are proctured and a very limited time to take. She not interactive at it honestly feels like your teaching yourself.
I would not recommend taking a class with her. She relies too much on MyMathLab. With covid she was no help in accommodating or actually teaching us herself. On tests there wasnt enough time to finish. If you dont do it her way, she will give you a zero. Also when I would email her about something she would be rude and reply days later.
Honestly one of the worst math professors I have had. She gives 2-3 homework assignments each week and are not worth that many points. Has videos/notes on things that aren't even on the tests and her zoom meetings are mostly her going over the class schedule. Showed your work differently but got the correct answer? she will give you 0 points.
She gives less than 48 hours to complete tests but that window is Mon-Tues. I work a majority of that time and have 4 other classes. She then made it mandatory in the middle of the test to use a printer, something I didn't have access to. She then told me that's too bad and ignored any follow up emails. That part was worth over a full letter grade.
Was one of the worst math teachers I have ever had. I have never struggled with learning topics until her. Having trouble on a problem? There are tutors available. Didnt know I was paying tutors to teach me. If you didnt show work on an east problem, minus 3/4 per question. Rude in emails. Took forever to respond. Wish I could give her a zero.
Worst Professor ever! I always pass with As and Bs, yet she failed me. Made rude comments about my learning disability on an office hour meeting. Needed a tutor. No extra credit. Doesnt teach online. Takes 5 hours to do one section of hmwk. She suggestedANOTHER teacher to help not her. Get an answer right on a test? She still marks 3 points off.

McNulty is one of the worst professors ive ever had. Unfortunately I had to take her for Math123 and Math124 because shes the only one who taught the class. She is degrading and your grade is heavily dependent on your tests. Her only help is to get a tutor and is unbelievably vague in emails. The online lectures are prerecorded videos.
I have never had any problems with any type of math class since I started school until now. I had to withdraw from this class because I was failing. I reached out to her several times and her only advice was to get a tutor. She was a very hard grader and offered nothing to help me bring up my grade. DO NOT take this class with her as a teacher!
Her class is heavily based on your tests grades. So even if you bomb one have fun trying to raise your grade. Not an understanding teacher at all. Many people struggle in her class and she does not care. She thinks your test/quiz grades defines your knowledge on the class even if you do good on homework/classwork.
Very difficult grader when it comes to Exams, she literally deducts 2 points for the slightest mistake. When you ask a question she just refers you to the textbook without giving you an example or explanation. Pick a different professor!
She was overall a good instructor. I do recommend not skipping class though because a lot is covered in one lecture. I recommend doing the homework every night though because it really does help. She's really thorough in her explanations and always got back to me in a timely manner. Like in every class, you have a lot to do on your part.
Mrs. McNulty does not prepare students for their tests. The notes and homework do not cover everything you need to know in order to perform well. On my second quiz, one of my classmates asked a question about something that was never mentioned to us once during her lectures, and questions on the quiz itself were harder than the ones on the homework
Avoid this professor. Her notes and homework do not prepare you for your quizzes and tests. There will be questions on them that she had never gone over, so don't expect to get an A unless you're a mathematician.

She sends out one email at the start of each week and then exclusively uses Redshelf for everything else. The teacher lecturing isn't even her, it's some old lady that only shows one way to do things. DON NOT TAKE!

All around a good and funny professor. However, if you suck at math and explaining math, she is not the professor for you. There is so much homework and the exams are extremely difficult. She is such a tough grader. If you miss class, good luck trying to get caught up. If you are good at explaining math, this is a good class for you.
She's a good teacher, but a harsh grader. To pass use the lecture notes & study guide. That's what's on the tests, not the math lab or quiz examples. Each test has 6 vocab, 4 concept & tons of computational questions. The final is 8 concept, and 40 computational questions. Study the lecture notes. See her at campus to get help. Test 1 & 2 are hard.
Horrible teacher and degrades students. She should be embarrassed and rethink her career instead of asking students to rethink theirs. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Favoritism is clearly shown to those who understand her horrible vague teaching. Asked registrar that they needed to find another professor for this course and they agreed.
McNulty is one of best teachers I have personally had. She is thorough, explains topics wonderfully, understanding, compassionate and truly cares about her students. Anytime I have a question she responds quickly with a helpful answer. Her class is practical yes challenging at times but she it always there to help understand the subject matter.

She is not that bad LOL. You do have to study a lot for the exams though. Make sure to put EVERYTHING on the cheat sheets. The homework is also really difficult but if you go to office hours she'll help! The class is hard but if you put in the work you will do fine! If you have a good math background (like from high school, etc) you'll do great.

She is a great teacher if your trying to actually learn the material and have a good understanding for more advanced classes. From my experience you WILL have homework after every lecture, and either a quiz or test every week. She has great office hour times and will help you if you ask for it.
