Nickoli is the ****! She's awesome. She does know what she's talking about and since the CJC keeps pretty good tabs on the professors in the department, they obviously like what she's saying. Her tests aren't hard IF YOU STUDY! Take her class.

People who say that she doesn't know her stuff or say she should not be teaching are ignorant. For this class she definitely knows her stuff, very concerned for the students, easy to talk to, and just an all around fun teacher!! Long live Nickoli!!!

She is awesome and has a Master's in Public administration. For those who think she is unqualified look where she is and where you are She in a professor and Internship coordinator. More props to her if she managed to get their without being qualified.

Professor Nickoli doesn't need a PhD, she has something other professors don't. She has the ability to RELATE to the cjc students and help them through one of their first major classes. I only wish she could be my professor for every class at BSU

I think she does a great job introducing criminal justice to students. Sometimes she can be easy to talk to, and other times she can be real short with you. Just b/c she lacks some education, she makes up for it with her passion for the subject.

I thought she was really cool. Just don't be a know-it-all in class and you'll be fine. If you don't understand it, get a tutor at the learning center. She gives you lots of extra credit stuff too. I picked her up as an advisor after that class.

Nickoli is great. She gets along well with students and is easy to relate to. She knows the material she is teaching and makes it very easy to learn. She gives many extra credit opportunities so you almost have to try to not get an A. Very good prof and a great internship advisor, very helpful.

Nickoli is amazing because she cares about her students. Yes her tests may be hard, but she has genuine concern about all of the students she teaches. I've been at ball state for 4 years and have never had a teacher like her! I'd love to have her for all my classes!!

Nickoli is a good professor, but doesn't seem very personable when you visit her during office hours. I feel sorry for those who have to work with her on the internship.

I totally screwed Nickoli over the other day with an internship delimma. So I figured I'd make it up to her by telling her how much I loved having her for CJC 101, and how cool she is. ;)

Nickoli is very sarcastic and the definition of evil...She attempts to make friends with students but if she doesnt like you then she shows it...lacking a little professionalism! She is knowledgeable and I did learn but I would rather have a teacher who acts like a teacher

Nickoli is a good teacher but you need to be able to have tough skin. If you like humor she's great, if you are the one she is using for her humor, stop asking stupid questions. Reading the book is very important. Her grading is fair and the class time goes by quickly.

Best prof I've had so far, makes class worth going to, funny as hell, lots of xtra credit opportunity, movies! tests aren't too bad, jus study for em! deff recommend w/o a doubt!

Nickoli's lectures are by far the most enjoyable ones I have experienced. She is funny and gives good notes. I would read the textbook and study for the exams, but they aren't too difficult. She is not very friendly and the one time I went to her during office hours she was hateful towards me because she hadn't been able to find a parking spot.

She is hilarious!It is the only class I could go to everyday & never feel like skipping. Attendance not mandatory but you use your iClicker and get bonus points, so go to class. It's fun and her stories are hilarious. She can be blunt, but it's not bad, normally it just makes you laugh even more. MUST study for tests though! Wish she taught more!

Tests are HARD. Go to class, read the material. You should be fine. She's abrasive. Participate in class and she'll like you. Even if you have a different opinion. She respects that you voice it and participate.

She does lectures, but you always watch a lot of videos too. She's HILARIOUS, but is not a go-to kind of professor. Kind of rude and blunt when you have individual meetings with her. But she knows her stuff. The tests can be hard, so MAKE SURE YOU READ THE TEXT. And attend study sessions. Make sure to get the materials she requires. you WILL need.

She is an amazing professor! One of my absolute favorites. As long as you attend class and read what she tells you to read in the book, you'll do fine. Keep up and don't get behind! She may originally seem standoffish, but she is always willing to help if you just ask!

She can be extremely blunt and rude when answering questions. She describes herself as a b*tch which is funny until you realize shes serious. I have had her for a few classes and she's a great professor, just don't get offended easily. The tests are cake if you study. I got a 103% in the class because she gave so much extra credit.

Nickoli is hilarious. Yes, she makes you work for your grade, but she makes the subject interesting for everyone. I always loved going to her lectures. The book is essential to passing, so you have to read the chapters. She acts super intimidating when you talk to her, but if you try hard in her class and SHOW UP each day, she will respect you.

Good class. The workload is kind of heavy, but it doesn't take forever. The assignments are graded somewhat tough but the feedback given makes it easy to improve. Overall, good professor.

Best professor I ever had. Even switched to her as my academic advisor after my first class with her. She can be very blunt, but she only wants the absolute best for her students. Participate in class, share opinions, and work hard. you'll have her respect forever if you do so. Some say she is gruff but she has a big heart if you need it.

Shes one of the greatest professors at ball state in my mind. She truly loves her job and will do whatever it takes for her students to succeed. When she talks your attention is always on her because she is so passionate in what she teaches. It is obvious she spends a lot of time out of class prepare supplemental information for her students.

SHE IS AMAZING. I am so sad she is not teaching anymore, but glad I got to have her during her last semester of teaching. I wish I could take her again. She is hilarious and really caught my attention especially for it being an 8am. All homework assignments revolve around watching a video, but all the videos are amazing documentaries!

Professor Nickoli is a wonderful professor! The course was interesting, and she created discussion boards/assignments that tied in very well with the course content. There is a semester-long project, but it is very manageable and easy to complete. She cares about the success of her students and is very nice. Definitely recommend her to anyone!

She is a AMAZING professor. She's the type of teacher you can have a regular conversation with, and she's very understanding of the fact the life happens. She is very lenient, and does not make you feel stupid when asking certain questions. She's super funny and will entertain you during class. I love her! If you don't get an A, that's your fault.

She is honestly one of my favorite teachers i've ever had. Shes funny and really cares about you as a student. Her classes are discussion/lecture based and are fun and enjoyable to sit through. Her exams are 6 questions each that require 100/200 word responses, but she gives the questions on the exams in adavance. Take her if you can!

She is the most understanding person. Not only does she let you make up tests, but she has study sessions before exams that cover the EXACT material needed. Her class is also likely to turn into discussion rather than just lecture as she cares about how students feel about issues and encourages questions. The con is the short answer/essay tests.

I went twice, skipped all her other classes and still received an A. Just do the online assignments and you will pass. Never talked with her but she seemed pleasant enough.

She's really nice and kind. This class is absolutely a waste of your time and as long you do the online assignments you will receive an A in this class. She does count attendance, most weeks. The SOAR program is just waste of time and money.

While I only had her for MCOB100 I would love to take another class with her. She is very funny and approachable. It is an easy introductory class so there is a little room for joking around. She wants to answer your questions and help in any way she can. Easily one of my favorite professors.

Easy class, just do the work

She is very funny and knows what she's talking about. Attendance is a QR code so you need to be in class to see it. All of the guest lectures are very informative and helpful for future goals.

Nickoli clearly cares about her students and wants them to succeed and grow. There can be a lot of assignments each week, but they aren't typically too difficult, just time-consuming.

She was a very good professor. While the lectures did get boring at times, they were only once a week and the class itself was extremely easy. Turn in your work, and you'll get an A. It's that simple.

Love her vibes. She talks very loudly and with a lot of energy to make class more interesting. There were definitely assignments that felt like busy work, but I understand why it was necessary to do. Overall, just do the bare minimum of the work and you can get the credit for the course.

Course is 100% busy work but is only 1x a week & required. I did learn some valuable things though! Nickoli was funny and made class tolerable and made expectations clear. Get to know her bc she is involved with MCOB and can get you connected! You have to be in class for attendance code, but I am sure you will do fine if you don't go.

Easy A, if you don't get 100% in the class, you're doing something wrong.

Nickoli brings a ton of energy to this easy class. While there's some busy work, just stay on top of it and you'll be golden. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for quick review before quizzes. Overall, a chill course with a fun prof.

I had Nickoli for both MCOB 100 and 200 and she's a great professor. Very caring and passionate; she wants to see her students succeed. The classes themselves are very easy.

This class felt very useless. That is nothing against the professor. I found Nickoli funny and entertaining. I wish I could have her for a class that isn't a required MCOB one because I'm sure she'd be a fabulous professor.
