VERY helpful, very personable, and because this is a political science class, very fair. Participation is huge and she expects it. I highly recommend her.

She's a good teacher for people who really want to learn. She teaches like upper division classes that are specifically for political science majors. She assigns alot of articles from NYtimes, in addition to the book. But she aslo reviews all of them before the test.Easy/tricky tests.

What's important to know is that her goal is to present facts and let form your own opinion without letting you know what side of the spectrum she is on - this is paramount to her teaching style. 3 tests, a few written assignments, and many New York Times articles. I highly recommend her.

She is one of the few teachers who actually shows an interest and personal experience in what she teaches. She is highly knowledgable in her course material and always seems ready to help with understanding a concept. If you enjoy political science then you NEED to take her course.

Great teacher showing genuine interest for the material. Participation is graded, but I never participated and still got an A. About ten homework assignments; easy work. I had her for honors and it was really one of my easiest classes. You have to read the stuff and be able to talk about it and you're set, if you participate you get a good grade. She teaches clearly and professionally- but makes the class fun too... AND SHE'S KILLER HOT!!!

Online course was a bit hard to navigate, but a weekly lesson plan was posted each week making it easy to know what to do. Lots of writing to do in this class and a lot of work, but none of it is too hard. Tests are a bit difficult, but you will do well if you read the chapters through and through.

the class was alright. just read your chapters and articles and you'll do well on tests. i didn't really fair well on those, but we had daily journals; it'll boost your grade. if you're getting a C on exams, your journal can turn it into an easy A. her valley accent was kind of annoying though. sounds like a dumb blonde, but she's not.

Her looks have distracted me from listening to most of the stuff she teaches. She really needs to work on not being so frikkin' hot. Seriously, I recommend this class highly, not only for her amazingly genuine beauty, but in order to get in touch with political matters that so often affect us in numerous ways. Awesome teacher. She is a very, very good teacher. I took this class during the mayoral election last year, and she does a great job of relating the material to how it personally affects you. Very inspiring, really got me more involved with the political process. Probably as unbiased as a political science professor can be. Very easy on the eyes too.

Prof Romeros class is pretty easy. Probably my easiest aside from "personal growth". The current events are a lot of work but they are easy. I learned a good amount of stuff for an entry level class. She has a really nice body. haha. shes the stereotypical political science teacher, a little quirky and a bit absent minded, yet very intelligent.

her syllabus might look overwhelming, but don't bother with that. easy class. lots of work on journals, but she gives A LOT of opportunities to get an A. lots of extra credits so take advantage of that. take it online if you can.

Prof. Romero is actually pretty good. I feel like the people who dont do good dont read the book. All you have to do is read and you'll get a good grade unless your a complete moron. She is often late, but its cool cuz who cares? tests are easy and some are open book and notes. LOTS OF CURRENT EVENTS!!

Wow I don't know what all these people are talking about but this class was cake! I took the online class. There were 3 discussions that we had to participate in, current events reading with quizzes, a mid term and a final covering the chapters we had to read. About 4 chapters for the midterm and I think 4 for the final. Very easy class.

I disagree with everyone, I took the online course this fall and I missed some assignments and did poorly on the midterm but she gave us plenty of extra credits that got me an A+ when I was failing. She is a great teacher and I have to same my best! Vey helpful and understanding. Just do the discsussion every week, one midterm and a final.

No text book required. Just read the front page of the New York Times. Very helpful.

Took class this online. In order to get an A, you MUST be mindful of your participation. The book is covered only on mid-term and final which is half your grade. The rest is quizzes on current events and message board posts of your thoughts on current events. I ended the class with an A and barely read the text.

This is an easy class just make sure you do ALL current affairs assignments. Also participate in all the discussion posts because she will give you really low grades if you only give short responses and do not reply to other posts. At first the discussions were random and all over the place but she made a rubric which made it easier to participate.

She is a helpful teacher if you ask for the help. Sometimes assignments aren't clear. Her tight body could be a distraction if you're easily persuaded.

Its an interesting class. She is very nice and helpful. She is really easy. But don't be disrespectful to her because she will write you up and take it out on the whole class. Overall not a terrible class and a pretty good teacher.

I took this class online. It was interesting, yet be prepared to write and read a lot. Current affairs articles and discussion board take longer then expected. There are 4 exams - 2 current affairs - midterm and final - and 2 exams from the book (quite difficult so be prepared). The teacher appeared unorganized and overwhelmed at times.

The class is fun if you like American politics. Romero loves the subject, enjoys teaching it and knows the material. She spends more time talking about what she will teach than actually doing it. If you can learn out of the book and take good notes it's an easy A. I plan on taking another course with her. She is gorgeous too.

I took this class online & is very easy. Just do all of the discussions and write good relevant essays. She doesn't require you to take quizzes just for practice. Test is not bad too just study the practical quizzes at end of each chapter from the book online which have similar questions on the test. Altho She didn't respond to any of the emails.

The contents of the course are simple and not complicated. Only issue is grading is done on midterm and final only. This makes it somewhat more challenging to get the grade you want if you don't perform well on each exam. The prof isn't horrible but I don't recommend the course with her.

Aside from being hot, she is smart. She really knows the material and understands it. She is more than willing to help students if they are willing to ask. She cuts students alot of slack if they just talk to her. Grades on a curve, so there's that. Easy class to pass if you're not a total nimrod.

Discussions were easy the projects are fun. The final/ midterm is hard but you get a while to work on it. Also if you dont understand anything just ask. I learned more in this class than i did taking avorh. Best teacher for poli if your forced to take it at city/mesa/miramar.

Honestly, she is a great teacher. She is very understanding when it comes to giving many opportunities for students to succeed and is very passionate about what she teaches. professor Romero is a great teacher to have. She makes you better understand the political process. Especially the electoral college. Also make sure to have your current events article due on time. Introduce yourself to her after a class. Reason being it seems she forgets faces of her students. Overall highly recommend Angela Romero.

Awesome professor.There are only four exams total.And about six short discussion boards. She is very helpful and fair professor.I took POLI 101, and 102 and She is my best professor ever.She also require a writing journal on the weekly basic. Great Professor. Definitely prefer Angela over other Professors. She's motivated and passionate about Political Science. Her class is outlined well and it's very clear what expectations are. She covers the material well and is always there to help the student out. She is a fair, and prompt grader and will leave informative comments about the assignment.

Prof Romero goes above and beyond. I went in knowing little about politics and had no interest in knowing more (GE creds). Prof. Romero is very nice, I barely went to class and still passed her class with an A. But, don't do what I did because you have a crap load to read and catch up on if you skip class a lot, plus the tests can be pretty hard. There is mostly lots of readings, and she often goes on tangents during lectures. Overall an awesome professor.

She required lots of reading of current events & writing about your opinion of the articles. Test are straight forward from text and lectures. If you need clarification she will help. Not a class you can sleep through, but not hard if you show up and listen. Read the text! Very nice Prof who wants you to pass, but you must work some for it.

Professor Romero is amazing. She gives weekly current events and four pop quizzes throughout the semester. I would highly recommend taking her. I wish she taught upper division political science classes.

Most of the work is reading. Textbook, side book, and "current event readings" that are online news articles. Quizzes are based off all the readings and the journal assignments are based off one of the online readings of your choice. Don't fall behind too much on reading as it will help on the quiz. Exams are a bit long, but manageable.

Assignmentstests were straightforward and mainly reflected to the lecture and the required texts. Romero is extremely clear when going over hard topics in Political Science--that's a good thing. I'll admit there is a lot of reading in this class--but if you do every assignment, you will pass. Take her!

Amazing teacher, enjoyable lectures with class participation. Very easy course if you do the work. Two exams are online, only one in class. She does give plenty of opportunities for extra credit and the class is curved. Attendance is "mandatory", but you get 4 "free passes" which don't affect your grade. Good teacher, class is heavy on reading but only 3 assigned journals on current events are homework. There are only 3 tests and 2 of them are online, they are easy to pass. Show up and you will pass the class, don't show up and you won't. It's that simple. Oh yeah, and she's hot!!!

I hated politics when I started this class but prof Romero's class changed that thanks to her fair minded and respectful approach. Easy class and great professor. Would take her again for either POL class. Online class consists of weekly reading with 1 quiz and 1 discussion. Multiple attempts on quiz with an hour time limit. discussions are easy and you must only respond to two classmates. Reading can get a bit heavy, but spread your work throughout the week and its easy!

Having to be the same as many other individuals, I took this class because its Gen Ed. That being said having to be active duty military and taking her class online it was honestly easy. To be completely honest this was one of the classes I thought I was doing horrible in, but it turns out that I was actually doing amazing in this class.

Took Professor Romero During intersession. 4 easy postings, one weekly. because it was an intersession course it was very fast paced so we took several quizzes at a time. she sends a reminder if you haven't posted for the week, very sweet I would take her again.

I took Professor Romero's 4 week class and she had the assignment schedule made on the first day so I knew exactly when everything was due. Despite the fast paced class, I never felt overworked or stressed over the workload. Overall, she is a great teacher with a passion for teaching her students.

As a first term college student this class was a breath of fresh air. Everything is planned out from the first day and there is never any confusion on what is due when. There is a test every week but if you're online you can just look at the textbook while you take it, no time limits, 2 attempts. Loved prof. Romero!!

I took this class for intersession and it was just amazing. The pacing felt great and the modules were in a good timeframe. I ended this class with a 100% but she also curves the grades. She allows 2 attempts on quizzes which makes it easier to get an A in the class. Discussion boards are useful to learn from and the textbook is helpful aswell.

I took this class during the spring semester. Honestly, I wish I had the chance to take her course in person. It was entirely online- extremely flexible but with a strict deadline (2 weeks to do 2 readings/quizzes and discussions). Zooms are optional but she doesn't call you out or anything so don't worry about getting put on the spot. Easy A.

i took prof romero for 2022 spring intersession and she was one of the most amazing profs ever!! at first, i was hesitant to take polisci during intersession since it seems like a difficult subject & theres only 4 weeks, but prof romero made it very easy with the way the class was structured, + very fast grading times!!! Very friendly professor who is passionate about what she teaches! While there is a lot of reading, she gives you the option to watch a video to respond to the discussion post. Class is easy to pass because she gives many extra credit opportunities. If you are ready to really dive into to the world of political science, take this class.

I took this class in the accelerated 4 week summer semester and it was great. She is a very caring professor and gives you two attempts on each quiz. There are also micro-essays that are assigned each week from the 2nd-4th week. These do not take that much time and she is not a strict grader on these.

She is an amazing professor. I thought that the class would be hard, but it was super easy Prof Romero was reachable outside of class.When I needed her I emailed her and she would answer. I took this during summer thinking i would have so much to do but the load work was manageable. Quizzes are easy definitely recommend taking this class with her.

The class was relatively easy. She likes participation and for us to make our own opinions rather than force her own political agenda, which I really respect.

Very fun class environment to be in. I always looked forward to her class, which centered on learning and not stressful assignments. She was one of the best professors I'd ever had so far. Her class was so fun where we play games, and pretend we were professors. She has a good sense of humor and she was not strict. She usually assigned quizzes every week. If I'm not happy about the score I got on the quiz, she let us keep retaking it until I get the score I desire.

Most time spent reading the online textbook (easy read). 8 Modules with One multi-choice quiz per chapter with unlimited attempts, 1 Micro-Essay (3 paragraphs or so) per module, bi-weekly current events discussion with a choice of a discussion post or 1hr zoom. Great Prof/Great Class.

I took Prof Romero's class online. As long as you turn in your assignments, it's really easy to get an A. "Quizzes" in this class can be retaken as many times as you want. There's also plenty of extra credit available. Generally, Prof Romero seems to really care about her students and actively tries to increase interaction, even in an online class.

I took her 8 weeks online class. She is caring and has clear lectures. There is a current events discussion in which you can either choose to write an essay or just attend her Zoom meeting. If you have time definitely do the Zoom. She does not force you to have political sides, which I really liked about the class. Would definitely take her again!

work flow is relatively light. lots of opportunities for extra credit if needed. textbook is also free and she also has recorded lectures if that's more your forte. only downside is that all the content isn't opened from the start and the new content opens about every two weeks. definitely read the rubrics to get maximum points.
