one word = AMAZING! I haven't had a teacher who has been more fair to me than Dr. Ware! She excepmlifies the "sociological perspective" in her class perfectly! The things I learned in her class are truly practical and useful in everyday life!

You can do as many assignments beyond those required if you want to boost your grade. I learned so much from her!

Mrs. Angela is the best teacher I have had in my experience at Auburn. She is incredibly helpful and passionate about sociology. Minorities (3500) is very interesting, and she really makes you think on a deeper level. I hope I get to take Dr. Ware again before I graduate!

She is very sweet. Go to class as much as possible so she can see your face, gives major points for participation at the end. Didnt use the book mch so take notes but she posts the notes a wk later. She loves feedback so get involve in class conversations, very interesting.

If you're going to take Intro to Sociology, take Dr. Ware. She is an amazing teacher! If you go to class and pay attention, you will get an excellent grade. She tells you how it is. Fun class. Easy to get a good grade if you pay attention, and the material is very interesting, so pretty much go to class and you'll be fine. Mrs. Ware is laid back and makes a power point easy to sit through. I would take the class again if i could! And you don't need the book much at all, I never touched mine and did well in the class.

Her first test was more difficult, but thats cause it was the history of sociology. The rest I didn't study for at all and got an 86, and a 95. One of them I didnt even know we had until I walked in. Dr. Ware is great! It is really important to go to class and take notes on what she says. Studying the PowerPoints is not enough to get an A in the class. If you memorize the PowerPoints and take good notes you'll do well in the class! Definitely take her though! I never skipped because they were so interesting!

Very interesting and engaging class. She makes a class of 100 seem like a class of 20. There are 4 tests, each worth 25 points, so every question you miss is a point off your final grade. Tests are easy, but you should understand the concepts. Go to class; it's interesting and helps on tests to hear discussion.

This class was a breeze. If you attend lecture and use common sense on tests, there is no way that you won't easily make an A. If you participate in class, Dr. Ware gives out 3% points of extra credit. Class is never boring; you seriously never know what she is going to say or put up on the screen- prepare to be amused. Easiest class I've taken at Auburn and I took music appreciation and Golf (yes, this class was easier than golf because you actually had to show up for golf). So far, Ive studied about an hour for each test and my test average is 100 after three tests. Since the first test the only classes I've shown up to are test days.

Awesome class! Attendance is not mandatory, but she goes more in-depth on examples in her presentations that will be on the test. Tests are twenty multiple choice questions and you should be in the clear if you read over notes the night before. Super interesting and would recommend to anyone! Don't buy the book either... If there is a teacher at Auburn to take for Sociology classes, it is without a doubt Angela Ware! Awesome, funny lecturer and gave 4 exams (including final) which was 80% of the grade. These were the easy exams, but I still learned a lot in the class.

I loved this class and it was super fun, she's a great teacher but her tests are not that easy. They're only 20 questions so if you miss more than 2 you're already down to a B. Some of the material on the exams, she's never even gone over and aren't on the powerpoint.

Easiest A there ever was. Go to class, take notes and study your notes and there is no way you won't pass. She is a fantastic teacher. She just wants you to learn in her class, not stress about homework and reading. No need to buy the textbook, you won't open it. Fantastic teacher and would take her class again.
