She is avery nice teacher, just read all the ,material she gives you and make sure you go to class everyday. She appreciates attendance. Very funny too
Great teacher!!! Super helpful and cares about her student's progress. Although the material is difficult she make the class fun and easy to follow. You will learn A LOT!! She will teach you the required material as well as other interesting medical facts. Read and study all of the information she gives you and you will earn an "A". Good luck!!

good professor, teaches only from powerpoint presentations, grades fairly, lots of extra credit throughout semester. 4 tests and five quizzes i got an a in the class without excessive studying
Dr. Weathers is a very practicle, down to earth, kind of person. She will look at you as an equal to her. Her classes are pretty much...show up and you will pass, put forth a little effort and you will pass with an A. EASY A for sure!!! Open book tests, and reviews appropriatly for tests. Had her for both Anatomy2lab and Biolab. Very nice person!!
She was an OK teacher. I had a hard time getting ahold of her and she went over the material rather quickly. She did have student prefrences and that was annoying. She did give a lot of extra credit.
She is a great professor.I took her for summer, she goes over the material quickly and let you take the rest of the class time to study in class. A lot of people leave early, but the people that stay, she gives them extra credit and hints for the test. some questions she asked in the quizzes she asked in the practi****, don't miss class.

I didn't like this teacher she teach by power point no extra credit for lab people and she does has her favorite students.You won't learned that much with her if you planing to go to nursing
This is one of the worst professors I have ever had. She expects you to already know the material she is teaching you and does not help you at all. All that she does is read off the powerpoint presentation. She doesn't go over a lot of the material claiming we don't need to know it but later puts it on the test. DON'T TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!
i'm an A student and i had difficulty in her class. She doesn't explain the material clearly (she speeds thru powerpoints that she doesn't even prepare herself) & she rambles during class. Her exmas are very hard you really need to learn that material on your own because she is not very helpful.
shes always late even on test days. she puts notes from the book into a power point reads them and doesnt explain them.i havnt failed a class and i had to drop her bc i had an F.people say she gives a lot of extra credit well for my class shes given 3.the 1st day of class she said if you want an A your going to have to read 3 times the chapter
I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR!. Ignore these few comments before me! Yes, you do need to study a little bit, but its good for you! She goes over everything in class and gives you a copy of the powerpoint she presents. You do need the book for any additional info. Extremely down to earth and you dont only talk about Bio. You talk about life. I love her!
I LOVE PROF WEATHERS! She is amazing. She was a doctor and then decided to switch to teaching so she knows her stuff. I haven't finished the class yet but I love it. You talk about EVERYTHING and she is not judgemental at all. Brilliant woman!
very cool person, but horrible professor! she doesnt know how to teach, she reads everthing off from the powerpoint and she skims it was too fast. i dont recommend anyone to take her. she is always 20 minutes late to class and on days of exam/quizzes. i HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND TO TAKE HER unless you want to fail.
Let me just tell you if you are looking to take an easy class stay away . This professor doesn't explain the material really well and she reads right off power point slide and goes really fast! She is very lazy too And the test are really hard. You need to learn the material yourself!
Prof Weathers is a great person but she does not know how to teach... AT ALL! She quickly reads through powerpoint slides and expects you to learn the material. Her reviews are pointless. And her tests are impossible... She words them in a very confusing way. I definately DO NOT recommend her.
as a person she is super kool and funny and she does ask alot of questions and gives extra credit throughout class, but her test are hard. the questions are tricky and confusing.
The comments below this one are pure baloney! Dr.Weathers is a fabulous prof. Not only does she want you to learn the material, she wants you to understand it & does a fine job getting you to that point. Studying is a must, but what do you expect? I'm taking her for Anatomy 2 in the summer. She gives tons of xtra cred. I highly recommend her.
Everyone who says she doesnt know how to teach simply doesnt know how to read. YES, you do have to read the book and she just goes over it in class. No, she is not going to spoon feed you. Thats why you are in college.

She gets too personal about the class, forgets the material on the book and starts discussions about T.V characters and celebs. If you are serious about this class don't take her. She's always late and never prepared for class. her slides blow confusing style of teaching. her assignments are not challenging enough.

I love this class. I am always happy to go because in every class i learn alot of stuff that sticks with me, i dont memorize anything, i learn it. She gives great examples and is very fair, she is an awsome teacher, i wish i could take her for every class that i need. Awsome teacher, awsome class.
This a great teacher. If you pay attention to all that she talks about in class you will pass the tests. Take notes, and ask her for help. She will help you with whatever questions you have. She is funny and nice;The class is not easy but if you study everything you do in class, you can get an "A" in her class. She really makes school fun! The Best
Proffesor Weathers is wonderful.She gives real life examples that you can relate to the material. She does not spoon feed but is willing to help with any of your questions. If you take good notes and read the material that will separate you from being an "B" to an "A" student. This is college you must do the work. I am taking her for the 3rd time
she's a super nice person. really really nice! and funny! but her class is SO HARD! she doesnt review with you and she pretty much just reads off the powerpoint. its pretty much like taking an independant course. shes a horrible teacher. her teaching style sucks. just memorize the notes and maybe you'll pass a test or 2 lol.

I know she checks her emails because I've seen them checking them in class, so I feel ignored. I learned a lot in this class but there's a week left to finish and I still don't know how I'm doing in the class
She likes for her students to participate in class. If the class is not participating and its only one person answering her questions she will give pop quizzes or she will pick on someone and put them in the spotlight. She emails all lectures study them b/c everything in the slides are in the test as well as read the chapters. She gives extra crdt

Not a good professor. Tests questions are always a surprise and difficult. This class is one of those mousetraps meant to ruin your GPA and make you spend more money on having to retake. Stay away Far!

She helps make biology more interesting and we have cool discussions in class about things related to biology. She goes through the material fairly quickly, so you should read the book to keep up! Her tests are fair: she tests important concepts.
Not sure why that last posting is so misleading because everyone else I spoke to in the class was pretty upset at having selected this professor. She sucks! She tries to fail students almost apparently on purpose! She should be fired!!
she uses NO TEXTBOOK. she EXPECTS you find out on your own apparently since the only book i have for this stupid class is a work book! she is funny, interesting... Took for lab and took for lecture. Earned an A but it was not handed to me. She will help the students who are actually trying she will not sugar coat it for you. Best advice is try talking to her during class at the end of the semester it pays off! She gives extra credit even when she says she doesn't!
She's a good, friendly professor who reviews all the material we're expected to know and makes it interesting. Quizzes were fairly easy and the tests were partially based on them. Take it!
I loved her! She's super funny & makes Biology way funner. She relates everyday topics with Biology, and that's what keeps me interested. Also, she keeps your attention. Very good explainer and has a super good attitude
Dr. Weathers is Awesome. Very knowleageble, funny and approachaable. I look forwaard to going to class. She takes the time to send the chapter outlines to each student. If you fail; you failed to study. She will teach you things that you will remember for life. She teaches from a practical standpoint. Challenging class; but worth evey penny.
Shes horrible you hae to read the book in order to pass the quiz and test the powerpoints she makes for the class you cant use for the test or quiz she has a grreat personality but the class is boring
Although I really like her as a person, I cannot recommend her as a teacher. Do not take her if you need clear explanations. We hardly touch the models in our LAB class. The only sure time we will use it is for our practicums. She is funny BUT nor a good teacher.

Would not recommend this teacher if you need explanations and clarity. Basically had to learn everything in the course with little to no help. The textbook she assigned was not helpful either.
Great professor,entertains class, and cares about her students. But you do have to study a lot in order to pass.If you want to learn anatomy and are able to learn fast, I definitely recommend her.
RUN!!!! You will never have any idea what to expect on test or quizzes. "Know everything" is what she says. She is one of the worst professors I've ever had and I studied my butt off. Unless you have a photographic memory, I'd steer VERY clear of her. She's funny but what are you paying for? If it wasn't for extra credit everyone would've failed
Do not take her. Prof not helpful. Doesn't interact with students. Prof doesn't even touch the models provided. If you ask her a question about a model she answers don't worry about that you will be ok. You will have surprises on the exams. There is no reviews.
She is a very nice and entertaining teacher, but as far as studying for her tests, she does not give reviews or study guides. Studying for her tests is all on you.
I previously had failed Anatomy when i took it with another professor, which was so hard for me because i keep my GPA average high and had never failed a class prior to that class.Thanks to this professor not only did i pass the class but i actually learned a lot. she gives explanations for everything and even plays fun games to get us to think!
You pretty much have to teach yourself everything. She does powerpoints in class but usually goes off topic and you end up having to read at home anyways. You should take her class if you can teach yourself and just go in for tests. other than that i wouldn't recommend.

She's a very nice lady but a very hard Professor. She does not give any type of study guide for the practicing and quizzes. When you ask her what to study she says study everything from chapters 1-11.. What??? She does give extra credit though so that does help a lot. I would not suggest taking her class

By far the worst teacher I've ever had. she doesn't teach and when you show up to class she asks you a few questions verbally and gets mad when we dont know the answers. She said in class one day"this class is just for me to ask questions and take tests youre supposed to learn it on your own and then come prepared for test"which are ridiculous..
Absolute worst teacher, not worth the time or money your better off teaching yourself anatomy. Most of the class is spent independently reading to teach yourself and she's not clear on what the tests are on. If she asked me to take a test on information about her I'd pass because all she talks about is her medical problems and family deaths.
First time I ever felt the need to write a review on a professor; She says that everyone fails the first exam so not to stress it, but that doesn't count any less towards your grade. She comes unprepared for class, and will constantly go off topic and rant about her personal life more than she will cover the course subject.

By far one of the worst classes I have had to take. It was very confusing I would not recommend this professor to anyone. She says don't use the book it doesn't have the right information yet the tests are about the book. need to know the book like the back of your hand. She makes the easiest things confusing.
Tough class that requires you to study. She will tell you what's on the exams/quizzes but be prepared to study your ass off. She gave lots of extra credit which helped, but still a tough class that required tons of studying. She isn't terrible, but not good either.
Dr. Weathers is an amazing professor! I took her and I really learned a lot in anatomy. She isn't easy and you will need to study, but its all worth it in the end. She lets you know whats on your test/quizzes and she gives lots of extra credit opportunities. She cares for her students and is very helpful! You just have to put your work to.

Could not wait to go to this class every time and never seen so many students stay after class just to talk to the professor, because she is just that kind of person who you enjoy talking with. Dr Weathers should teach all professors on how it is done!!! Totally engaging, and makes sure you get what you need to know! When this class was over at the end of the semester the majority of us where very sad to part ways with her.... we even stayed after class on the last night to take pics with her so we could remember her!!!! She is GREAT!!!
I've attended two colleges and this is the first time I've felt the need to rate my professor. Dr. Weathers tells you exactly what you need to know to pass this class. Her tests are challenging but she gives resources and her teaching is clear and precise. Overall her class was enjoyable and I would recommend it to any student who needs this class.
Dr. Weathers tells you what you need to know! Everyone is an "A student" if they apply themselves. Read the material, show up to class, and study. Class is fun and engaging - a very enjoyable experience. I've walked out of the class every time having learned something new. I would recommend this class to anyone. Took this class expecting an easy ride, but quickly realized you need to put some effort. Quizzes were easy if you listened in lecture and studied a few times, the tests were practicals with models on the tables, which you need to dedicate study time to do good . Very funny and easy to talk to. Gives easy extra credit and very funny, overall great!
This professor is amazing super funny and really wants you to learn the material. You will learn alot in this class. She provides extra credit opportunities and will clarify anything if you get confused. There are quizzes which are fairly easy if you study, the exams are praticals ( identify letter A) so you must study. Overall a great experience.

Professor Weathers is funny and easy to talk to. In her lecture she reads thru the slides really fast so you will need to do reading on your own. There are very few chances to improve your grade as there are only 3 quizzes and 3 test but she gives a lot of extra credit. If you are an independent learner you will do well. Overall I liked taking her.

Don't take. This Professor doesn't teach, she talks for 20 minutes in the class then tells you to look at the topic and then ask random questions. she gets off topic a lot, also her test isn't multiple choice they are written responses and spelling counts. I don't recommend this professor. She also expects you to know this before class read daily.
Dr. Weathers is nice, she is funny, and likes to ask questions that have to do with anything in the medical field, related to the topic we are discussing. On the other hand the exams and quizzes just didn't make sense. I took her for lab, and you would think that she would put pictures of models, instead they were lecture questions. Don't take her.
If you're reading this and considering to take her because her schedule is convenient for you just don't do it. This professor will be an hour late to class and expect for you to wait for her. She makes the class harder than it should be with her long exams. SHE IS LAZY. SHE WILL LITERALLY SPEND THE ENTIRE CLASS TALKING ABOUT HER PERSONAL LIFE.
Do not take this professor. You will have to teach yourself anatomy. She has 200+ slides per power points which she skips through and gets off track to talk about her personal life. She doesn't have anything organized, she will come to class an hour late, forget what she taught, change the exam dates every other day. It was a complete mess.
Wouldn't recommend this professor unless you plan to teach the material yourself. Isn't specific on what will be on the quizzes and doesn't realize or go by the syllabus. You'll be classes behind and she'll play catch up in less than 20 min throwing the information at you expecting it to sink in. n
Prof Weathers, although nice, is not organized. She does not follow the syllabus, and when she finally remembers where she left off, she gives you everything she knows in 20 minutes then asks you to read on your own. If you ask questions, she will help you, but it won't help if you don't know which questions to ask...
Professor Weathers, is a very wonderful teacher. She has so much knowledge an passion for anatomy , she enjoys explaining to you how things work and can talk for hours (in a good way). Sometimes she gets a little off topic but the learning is nonetheless fun and memorable. She gives extra credit and might give you a 2 attempt on failed test.

She is a good professor but to pass the class you basically have to teach yourself. Participation is a must during class & she does talk a lot and sometimes is all over the place. But it was ok and I'm sure if I would take again.
Professor Weathers does have knowledge, she uses Visible Body as your source of Quizzes( which she gives more than 2 months to complete). She teaches and expected from you to participate which she gives credit for it. problem 80% of the test final and midterm is not what she teaches, you will have to read lot. PROCTORED !
This class was hard for me. You have to do quizzes on visible body, make sure u get 100 in all since together they are worth more than an exam. 3 total exams. study mostly labeling using the models she uses to teach during class. Exams are proctored through respondus. no makeups or retakes (unless she made a mistake) Attendance is a mandatory.

Shes very educated in what she teaches and she does her best to explain it all in short classes. she provides powerpoints to take notes on and read, but she gives no hw to improve grade or study guides for quiz or tests so grade is fully dependent on tests that were extremely difficult. independent studying. she gives bonus points for some tests.
She encourages you to read ahead of class as you should anyways. The material is power points of the chapter that she tells you to read. Group assignments for extra points, quizzes and test are from the chapter. I would definitely take her again. She knows what she is talking about and likes for her students to be engaged.
Most unprofessional professor ever. Treats everyone disrespectfully, very disorganized. Doesn't give clear instructions expects you to teach yourself makes you feel stupid. She told us we could teach ourself we didn't need a teacher. Teaches from an airport a hotel room or her car. Horrible professor.
I took her for FSE2100. Gave her a chance since her hiring process was rushed but quickly became clear that she didn't know the material. She read off of 130+ slide PowerPoints and couldn't answer questions and wouldn't try to find out the answer. Opened tests late causing us to be rushed at end of semester, didn't get through all of the material.
I took her for FSE2106. She claims that sciences are 'her thing', yet seems to either not know the information or not care enough to explain it properly. She always opens tests late and expects us to scramble on our own. She puts us in breakout rooms for 45 min.- 1 hour just so she doesn't have to teach. Genuinely the worst professor I've ever had.
Currently taking FSE1080 with her. Worst professor ever. Doesn't know the material and is always giving out wrong information or asking us for the answer. Makes us write test questions for her to use on our tests instead of doing it herself. Puts us in breakout rooms for 1 hour+ almost every class. Constant typo's on tests. Has favorite students.
Respectfully, one of the worst professors I've had. She chats instead of lecturing, gives incorrect information (doesn't match the textbook), puts us in breakout room for most of each class, and doesn't teach the material. She's hard to reach and you will mostly teach yourself. I would recommend to pick another professor if you are able.

have had her for multiple FSE courses. very unprofessional and lack of knowledge in all courses. has incorrect answers on exam questions-takes weeks to fix. ignores emails. you will be teaching yourself for all of your info needed for boards. i am surprised she is still employed at mdc; makes very inappropriate jokes towards certain subjects.
